Automatic row numbers in the dynamic table

Hi, with your help I've almost completed my table. My table has 18 rows and it has add row btn. Is it possible automate numbering of the rows so that when I add rows they will have numbers automaticly. I've tried indexing but it doesn't work.
this.rawValue=this.parent.index
I'm trying to improve also a calculation script and for some reason I do get and error. Will you be able to let me know where the errror is. My script is:
form1.SubTable.Table2.Row1[0].Total::calculate - (FormCalc, client)
if (AmountNet > 0) then
Total = AmountNet + VAT
else (AmountNet == 0) and (ExchangeRate > 0)

I've checked with the check script syntax and it is ok, but i still do get an error.

Change the look of the dynamic table

I had the dynamic table. I want to change the look of the table. I am facing two challenges
1. To change the background color of header
I tried by overriding the css of the header "table.Tbl th.TblColHdr" but this did not help me.
2. To change the color of the alternate rows
Could any one help me on this regard

Hello Ajay,
If you have dynamic table in adobe and you want to capture all the added rows then you need to add corresponding element in the node bound to that table ui.
when u add a row using java script in adobe form there is no corresponding element created in the backend that is ur wd node bound to the table ui. and so u only get 1 row of data back.
try this,
create a button in your view holding adobe form say "add rows" and on click of this button write the code to add one more element to the node bound to ur table ui of adobe form. when server side rendering occurs it will recreate the table in adobe with added row in the node and you will be able to get the data entered by user.

Analyse big data in Excel? Why the dynamic tables doesn't take all the data from the source table.

I'm doing a internship in a production line.
My job is to recover production data (input data) and test data (output data) using various types of software (excel, BusinessObject sap, etc).
To this day, I have recovered hundreds of production data, and have also organized in excel but I need to analyze and plot them.
I would like to know who can give me an idea of how I could plot as much data and analysis.
Now i trying to use dynamic charts and plot some data but I did not get acceptable answers.
How could I compare, analyze and graph for example:
Five columns of production (input) with five (5) columns tested (data output).
After graphing.
Someone can give me a technique to analyze data? ie I compare column by column?
or some other technique? as a conglomerate could analyze data?
o give you an idea of the contect, now I perform an internship in a manufacturing turbines.
My job is to analyze the input data (production) and to estimate the possible behavior of the turbines in the tests.
As I said, use dynamic tables in excel, but i have not idea why the dynamic tables doesn't take all the data from the source table.

Getting the count of rows present in the oracle table

i want to get the total number of rows present in the sql table to the appmodule.
After applying the some view criteria to the view object. if it try with getallrowsinrange it was giving count of rows present in the viewobject but i want total number of rows present in the sql table.

2 So, in this event handler,you have to read the context node to which ur table is binded
3 use the code wizard

Populate data into the dynamic table ie using field symbols

Dear All,
I need to convert the XML data into internal table. I did this using the guidelines in the forum. Using all those i can get my data
in the format of
Cname Cvalue
id          1
name    XX
id          2
name    YY
But i need the values in the format of int_tab like,
ID      Name
1       XX
2       YY
I used the below code to create the dynamic table strucure.

Hi,
You have to pass 'EKKO' and 'EKPO' i.e in caps to the exporting parameter I_STRUCTURE_NAME of the function module
'REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE'.

How to delete(remove) one row(record) from a dynamic table

I have adynamically created table.
I want to delete 1 record(Row) from that Dynamic table.
Say if my dynamic table contains 5 records(rows);after deletion of 1 record(1 complete row)from that dynamic table,the number of records(rows) should be 4 .
Please suggest me how to proceed.

when i execute the the table with passing a query , getting lot of time for loading the table data.( it takes 30sec for every 100 rows.)

We can move into other tablespace as well. But concern is how to improve the alter table move command performance.
Is there any specific parameter apart from the nologging and parallel server..
If it is taking 8 hours , can some have experience that nologging will save how much time. or is there any risk in doing in production.

Page having PL/SQL process and Automatic Row Process for 2 different tables

Hi,
I have a page containing 2 regions A & B.
Region-A content would be updated to table T1(PK : Ticket#).
Region-B content would be inserted into table T2(PK: Attachment# ; FK: Ticket#).
Region-B is used for uploading a file content into T2.
Since I cannot use 2 DML processes on the page for 2 different tables with a common column, so I have a PL/SQL process to update the record into T1 and an Automatic Row Process(DML) for inserting into T2.
Now the issue is in Region-B when I select a file using 'Browse' button and click on Upload button to fire the Automatic Row Process, the success message is displayed but the file is not uploaded into the table. But when I moved the entire Region-B and the Automatic Row Process to a different page and clicking Upload is working fine and inserting the record into the table along with the file content.
An item P10_TICKET_NUMBER with source type as Database column with source value as TICKET_NUMBER is used in Region-A.
I have gone through the forums and found some of the threads below

I am new to ADF programming. I have attempted to create an ADF page that contains a search and return table in the same page. The search appears to work fine but the return table displays odd behavior. If the search returns more than 10 rows such that it is possible to page forward through the rows returned the command button associated with the return table that allows the user to pick a particular row and navigate to another page does not work. If the user finds what he/she is looking for in the first ten rows then the command button works fine and the user is taken to the next page. The command button is actually defined to have an af:setActionListener to set a value in a backing bean and then command button has an action to invoke a backing bean. Both of these fire just fine if the selection is made from the first 10 rows. However once the user pages forward to another set of rows then neither seem to happen. Any advice on where to figure out what I did wrong?

When I get a component that seems to do nothing under certain circumstances, the first thing I usually check for is Javascript errors. Sometimes errors on page load can keep a component's Javascript from firing properly.
Try reproducing your problem in Firefox (or another browser with a decent Javascript error console; IE doesn't have one, although I think you can get extensions that provide JS debugging). Check the error console:
# Before scrolling off the first 10 rows.
# Right after scrolling off the first 10 rows.
# After unsuccessfully clicking the command button.
Do any interesting errors show up in steps 2 or 3?

How do you select n rows and not the whole table

I would like to only select the first 50 rows from a table and not the entire table. how do i accomplish this

Sayeed's example will work great if you don't care which 50 rows you get back. If you do, you can use an inline view to sort them first and get back a ranked result set:
select *
from (select whatever
from table
order by key desc
where rownum <= 50

Row attributes in the advanced tables

Hi Everyone,
In my custom page, i have developed an Advanced Table. The user can add any number of rows in the advanced table and i am capturing all the rows and the attributes of those rows in the advanced table using a loop.
Now, no matter how many rows the user adds, i need to fetch the attributes of all the rows and pass them to the next page for calculations and other purposes. I am not sure how to implement this logic.
Please let me know if anyone of you has got any ideas.
