Automatically create a Delivery Order document on saving sales order

hi,
i want that a delivery document should be automatically created on saving sales order. how can i configure sap to do so?
thanks

Hi
In VOV8 in the shipping tab immediate delivery switch is there
There you have to put X and save
then while you  create and save a sales order of that order type delivery will be created automatically
No need to go for VL01n
These are the settings done in cash sale and rush order in standard SAP

  • Creating a delivery note based on a sales order in SBO2005

    Hi
I am using the diapi to create a delivery note based on a sales order. Everything works well apart from I have 3 user defined fields on the sales order lines, 2 numeric and one which is a combo box.
The 2 numeric values as copied across ok but the combo is not.
I don't know what the delivery number is as I guess SAP assigns that after I save the delivery note.
Can anyone help me with this please ?
    Regards Andy

    Hi Paul & Gilbert,
As you assumed, the docentry is created at the moment when you are saving the document.
The docentry for the last created document can be retrieved from the Company object. There are two alternative methods for this: GetNewObjectCode and GetNewObjectKey. Please see the DI API reference for more details. These are the only reliable way to get the last created docentry. A query might work nicely in 95% of the cases, but in a multi-user environment it will sooner or later produce incorrect results.

  • Can't create a delivery order for stock transfer #

    Hi All
I stuck with one ticket ...
Can't create a delivery order for stock transfer #
Kindly provide input to resolve this.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Can you tell us as to what is the issue here? What transaction are you using?
    Anyways, check below things:
    1. Check for the inputs which must be relevant for the delivery creation
    2. Check if table VETVG is updated with the STO number.
Please revert back with more inputs if problem still persists?

  • Problem in creating new delivery order using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SPLIT_DEC.

I'm using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_SPLIT_DEC. It's creating a new delivery with zero quantity. I am populating the del_qty field in the Item_data table with the desired quantity. Can anyone suggest what should be done to get the new delivery order with the desired splitted quantity?

    Hi,
i guess the delivery your are using is already full quantity is issued.
try to use the delivery number for which no quantity has been issued.

  • Sales Order which automatically creates Stock Transfer Order

    Hi All,
    I've the following configuration requirement....
-- A semifinished good SF1 will come to my company plant... (Stock Transfer)
-- This SF1 will get converted to SF2 (another semifinished good) inside my company. As a by-product Scrap S1 will be generated.
-- This SF2 will be transfered to vendor for external processing and producing Finished Good FG.
-- This FG will go to customer directly from the vendor.
My requirement is to create third party sales order for FG which in turn trigger PR->PO for FG. This will trigger a stock transfer for SF2 from plant to vendor. For this it will trigger a stock transfer of SF1 from plant (outside) to plant (my company). All this needs to happen when I save sales order for FG. Once the FG is saved, if I go to MD04 (stock requirements list), it should show stock transfer order for SF1, stock transfer order for SF2.
Now I've created SF1, SF2, S1 and FG in material master. Also created Customer C1 and other necessary details such as organizational units, partners etc.
Also I've created BOM for SF2 which includes SF1 and S1 and another BOM for FG which includes SF2 only.
At this moment when I create a sales order for FG and save (third party sales order), the PR is getting generated for FG. But for further levels of processing is not happening. I know that manually these stock transfers could be done. But I want this to happen automatically when I save the sales order for FG.
Please let me know what would be the ways to configue this.
    Thanks in advance.

    As per your thread,
1- SF1 transferred from Plant (P1)- to Plant (P2) - Cab ne mapped through STO Process / Transfer Posting from Plant-Plant(Mov type 301)
2- for this SF1, internal processing will be done in Plant-P2 to convert SF1 into SF2 in resuitl Scrap S1 will generate- Internal Production process (SF1 BOM - SF2 & S1 as child items)
3- Issuing SF2 to Vendor for further processing to convert into FG - Subcontracting Process ( SF2 - Input Material / FG - Output material)
4- Issuing FG directly from Vendor to Customer, based on Customer Order - Third party Order Processing.
As you know, through Configuration its difficult to achieve this. You may need to use the BAPI's to auto trigger these process one after the other. Still you should check feasibility.

  • I still have no way how to deal with the LabView Data folder automatically created in the My Documents folder whenever I run the application

I tried numerous ways that some people suggested in this forum but did not succeed in having the LabView Data folder created somewhere else than in My Documents when running a built LabView application. Changing the target destination folder did not help at all. A member suggested to put some line like " defaultdestination = ..." or so into the build file, but I did not know where exactly to put such a line. That folder created is particularly anoying for people who don't normally use LabView but are only using the application. Please let me know when you LabView Experts out there have found a way to eliminate or relocate the creation of that folder at application startup.
    Thanks a lot.
    Tim, Van

    Tim,
use the path constant located in the Functions pallette under 'File I/O->File Constants->Default Data Directory'. It refers either to the default directory (which is (osdatadir)\Labview Data on my WinXP system) OR TO A NON DEFAULT PATH if you have defined one. To define a non-default path, got to the menu 'Tools->Options...' and change the entry under 'Paths->Default Data Directory'. This change will create an entry in the labview.ini file (located where the labview.exe is), e.g. the entry 'DefaultDataFileLocation=d:\temp' is created when I change the default data dir to 'D:\temp'.
Now for a compiled .exe with the name (say) myapp.exe you will find a file myapp.ini in the same location where myapp.exe is. It is usually an emtpy file directly after the application build process. Put the line 'DefaultDataFileLocation=(your path)' in this file.
Users of your compiled app can either
    - edit this .ini file to change the default,
    - or you can make the menu entry 'Tools->Options...' accessible in the built VI
    - or you can provide a self written dialog in your app and modify the myapp.ini programmatically
(This last way is probably not a good one since the user might have to relaunch myapp.exe in order to affect a change of the 'Default Data Directory' path constant)

  • How to create a Delivery Order after Delivery Completed

    Hi All,
I have created a SO with order quantity 100 pcs, Upper and Lower Tolerance limit is 5%.
At first, I create a DO via VL01N with picking quantity 100 and post the Goods Issue.
So, now the Delivery Status for the SO line item is Fully Delivered.
My question is how can I create a subsequent DO with 5 qty (to hit the Upper Tolerance Limit 5%) after the Delivery Status for SO line item is Fully Delivered?
    My requirements are:
    1. The SO quantity should remain unchanged
    2. No additional line item should be created in SO
    Please advice.
    Thank you
    Regards,
    Mike

    Hi,
There is no possibility to change the quantity like this in the delivery and this requirement can not be met. As discussed above system takes tolerance into account with reference to the full quantity it does not check the tolerance once the quantity is fully referenced. Meaning of tolerance itself suggests that system needs to consider in this case 5% plus or minus but when you enter the quantity as 100 then there was no question of tolerance. So the conclusion is that you can not implement this requirement in std way and through development may be possible I am not sure.

  • Creating a Service Order automatically when saving a Sales Order

    Hello SDN,
I'm trying to have SAP automatically create a Service Order when a Sales Order is created. To this end, I've tried implementing BADI workitem_template and have been using method before_update. I've been using BAPI BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN to create the service order.
The problem is that in order for the BAPI to save the service order, the sales order needs to be fully saved and operational. Otherwise it just keeps saying 'sales order does not exist'. So the problem is that the BADI is intervening too soon in the saving process. The temporary sales order numbers have been replaced with actual ones, but the records do not show in the database just yet. I think there's a commit that still needs to be done or something.
However, I cannot find a BADI or user exit that intervenes after the sales order is saved into the database, so this leaves me stranded.
Any suggestions would be heartily apprechiated.
    Kind Regards,
    Niels.

Following your suggestions, I've created an update function module and inserted it into the USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT. In this function module, I'm calling the BAPI.
Problem with this approach is that I cannot debug, nor is he actually doing anything. Here's the code that is put in the function. Is there anything wrong with the way I call the BAPI perhaps?

  • Help: How to add serial number data into Delivery Order document

    Dear Gurus,
I am creating an interface program and I have problem in attaching the serial number data to the corresponding material code for a certain delivery order document in R/3 4.6C SP22 system.
The serial number can be attached either during the creation of the Delivery Order itself or in the subsequent step after creating the Delivery Order (i.e.: create the D/O document first, and then update the D/O data).
The BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CONFIRM_DEC FM does not provide any input parameter to let me put the serial number in this R/3 version.
By tracing in SE30 the standard program VL02N --> Menu --> Extras --> Serial Number --> Continue (Enter) --> Save (Ctrl+S), I found out that the serial attachment 'might' be done during sub-routine SERIAL_LISTE_POST_LS in program SAPLIPW1. It will in turn executes FM SERIAL_LISTE_POST_LS. The commit to database table will be done in update task by FM OBJK_POST_UPDATE_N and SERIAL_POST_UPDATE_LS.
    <b>My question:</b>
    ============
    1. Is FM SERNR_ADD_TO_LS can be used to attach the serial number to D/O?
If yes, how to do it please because I already tried it I can not see the serial information in VL02N after that. There is no any insert or update to database in this function module. Should I call other FM after this? I want to try to call FM OBJK_POST_UPDATE_N and SERIAL_POST_UPDATE_LS but I do not know how I can retrieve the global object such as XOBJK_ALL that is necessary for the input parameter.
    2. If SERNR_ADD_TO_LS can not be used, what other FM can I use? Can I call SERIAL_LISTE_POST_LS instead? Is there any reliable way to generate the import parameter for this FM, such as XSER00, XSER01, XOBJK_ALL and XEQUI?
Thank you in advanced for your kind assistance.
    Best Regards,
    Hiroshi

Try something similar to this below...
Afterwards you should do a call transaction to VL02N and immediately SAVE. This is sufficient to ensure the status on the serial numbers is updated correctly.

I am creating sales order in that putting material. Now i do not have stock in the material but i want to create a delivery order. Here i do not want to change in material master record any other setting plz let me know. Thanks for your reply in advance
    saurabh

    Hi,
    Try this...
    Open your Delivery item category in 0VLP - Zero - V - L - P...
And in the AvailCkOff field put X - Do not check availabilit and try...
    This may work...
As this deactivate the availabilty check for the delivery... We can able to create the delivery with out having the stock....

  • Automatic creation of delivery for a PO

    Hi,
We are in ECC 6.0. We have a requirement to automatically  create delivery for a product based on PO.
    Here is the scenario:
We have a sub contracting scenario where in material MAT1is made by breaking up MAT2. 1CAR of MAT1 is made from 2 CAR of MAT2 and packaged.
Now the requirement is when a when a Purchase order is created MAT1, we also manually create a delivery for MAT2s  for the subcontractor to pickup the stock of MAT2 to make MAT1.
The requirement is when I create a PO for MAT1, the system should automatically create a delivery for MAT2. MAT2 is always in stock.
I hope my explanation is clear.
Can some body suggest me if there is a way to do this?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
I would try to build solution based on WF events related to PO creation. Once PO is created(saved in system), the event is being raised. Here you can build function where you check whether PO is for MAT1 -> if yes -> raise automatic delivery creation for MAT2 (two possibilities:
    1. use bapi 2. batch imput).
for this, you have to have some WF knowledge.
    hope it helps.
    regards,
    wojciech

  • TO CREATE AN INVOICE WITH REFERENCE TO THE SALES ORDER

I have a credit memo request(sales order) and I need to create a credit memo(invoice) on saving the sales order without creating the delivery order in between. The invoice(credit memo) must be created directly with "reference" to the sales order(credit memo request) without the delivery order in between

    Hi,
You can deliver the standard sales order by VA02 going to sales document-> deliver.
then save it it will give you outbound delivery number then go to vl02n the do the PGI of the same.
and for Invoices first create billing document byVF01 then create invoice list VF21
    Thanks
