Automatically create WBS from Contract Position

I need to automatically create a WBS Element when a Contract Position is created and write the WBS number back in the Contract Position. Has anyone done this and if so how. Is this best done by an Position Output to an iDoc so there is a monitoring system for failures in place? Thanks for any ideas.

Do you buy the same items from those 9000 suppliers over and over?
Do you want to automatically create PO or you want it to be submitted for approval as well?
You may want to consider setting up the automatic sourcing. This way, the ASL and sourcing rules are automatically created when you create the first blanket.

    Hi,
It seems you are not maintaining HR.(Times sheets-Hours and Travel expenses ).You need to take help from ABAP consultant.
In case of SD - configure for Contract- Order(Billing request)- Invoice cycle.Maintain Consulting hours as  material in material master data and Pricing procedure with discount, surcharge and commission as different condition types.Assign it to appropriate Sales document.
You need to  use BDC or EDI functionality with help of ABAP for incoming data from third party to create sales order.

  • Automatically create POs from all approved requisitions

I want to be able to automatically create purchase orders from all approved iProc requisitions (but wont have contract or blanket POs to use)
I can get the suggested buyer added into the iProc shopping cart but want to know best route. Most people seem to have to hack the work flows so that the POs get created.
I thought about using standard interface table to create the POs but believe that link to the requisitions wont be made (problem with reporting and encumberances)
Would be interested in recommendations as to the best way to do this

  • Hide automatic created folder from role upload

    Hi,
when I make a role upload to the portal, a top folder with the same name as the role is automatically created. Is it possible to disable this feature or hide the folder afterwards?
I have created my own folder structure in the portal, which defines the first two levels of navigation, and then made a delta link from this structure to the uploaded role. The content of the uploaded role is automatically put in a folder on third level instead of directly under the second level folder. This way the user has to click first on the role and then on the folder to get to the content. This is not very user friendly.
    Hope someone can help.
    Regards Morten

Have you tried changing the 'Entry Point'  property within the uploaded roles ?
When you do a role upload, you have the chance to automatically create the roles as worksets (rather than portal roles).  Have you tried doing this?  I think you get fewer levels (from memory)
Also,  is your composite (backend) role design already in place and finished?  It is worth trying to consider the portal when doing the backend composite role design in order to prevent issues like this.

  • Automatically create playlists from all albums

Is there a way to do this so that I can use list view and play one album at a time? I've looked on the list and searched on the web.
I know you can make album play lists easily, but only one at a time, by hand. I mean to simply get all them in one move.
I know that the grid view gives you the equivalent, but the grid view consumes so much memory that it turns the computer into an expensive CD player. The cost of looking at all those little pictures runs to about 200 megs of memory for me, and that creates a difficulty for me. (Strange as it seems, I work on this machine, too.)
In list view, iTunes does a great job, keeping memory use within 50 megs -- no problems there.
When I moved my music from one file server to another, I lost my playlists. I had the xml file that other programs can use, but not apparently not iTunes to re-create playlists. Now I face the trouble of rebuilding them hand. It would be trivial to rewrite that xml file to change all the file paths, but I did not see a way importing the entire collection of playlists.
It would seem to me that internally the iTunes database maintains an album by album list of songs (to show you in the grid view). One more step would loop through these and create playlists that show up in list view, eh?
My favorite music player is Linux-only -- Rhythmbox -- which just gives automatically artist and album playlists, and keeps within 60 megs of memory. I tried the new Mozilla offering, Songbird, which is only in beta and has its own rough spots, but it, too, automatically gives you artist and album playlists. I don't know about the Windows players.

    Barry

Why don't you use the Browser, you can filter your list view right down to a single album using it. Go to View>Show Browser to make it visible. Alternatively press the Command (⌘) and B keys together.

  • Standard function- create order from contract.

    Hi Experts,
Is there any standard function module which create a followup sales order(TA) for sales contract (QCTR).
    Regards,
    Rahul

    Hi,
The release order means the PO item created with reference to the contract item. There can be multiple items in the PO in which some items can be with reference to contract - these items eventually becomes the release orders and other items can be without reference to contract.
In short, you can add multiple items in PO where some items can be with reference to contract item and some are not. This is standard behavior.

  • Automatically create ToDos from Events

    Hello,
I would like to have a todo item automatically added for an event that is entered in iCal. Does anyone know how to do this?
    Thanks!

    Greetings,
    (Dear Apple,)
This is a User Discussion Forum as indicated in the Terms of Service (http://discussions.apple.com/help.jspa) which means when you post here you are posting to other users, not to Apple. If you wish to submit feedback to Apple go to this link: http://www.apple.com/feedback/ical.html
Or have I missed something here?
    Nope you are correct.
To Do items are 1 type of entry in iCal. Events are another kind of entry.
To Do items are not visually associated with a specific day entry in the calendar (grid) so that even if you go forwards or backwards in your calendar, you can still keep your list of To Do items at hand.
Events on the other hand are locked to a specific date(s) and change based on your location in the calendar (month/week/day view).
    Cheers.

  • How can I automatically create calendar events using text from a Pages document?

    Hello,
I'm looking for a way that I can automatically have calendar events created, by extracting dates and times from a table within a Pages document I have saved on my Mac.
Currently, I record my working hours/dates on a Pages document in table format, so that I can record and ensure I receive payment for all hours I work.
After finding out which shifts I have for the week, I insert the day, date, start time and end time (for each shift), into a table within a Pages document.
I'm wondering if there is any way - such as through Automator, Apple Scripts, etc. - that I can then have the Calendar app automatically create events from that data - including the date, start and end times for each shift?
Also, if possible, is there a way to set each event to automatically alert me at a chosen time (1 day, 2 days, etc.) beforehand?
Here is an example of the layout of my document table:
    Date

If anyone can help with this question, that would be greatly appreaciated, as then I could have my calendar automatically create and sync my work shifts across to my iPhone, iPad and Mac.
    Thanks in advance,
    John.

    I totally agree with you.
Where are the fixes for a long string of bugs, glitches and user issues?
Looking at the list of new "features" for the next OSX, Maverick (what a dumb name!), all I am seeing is Apple ripping off other peoples' ideas, something it swinges others mercilessly for.
There is not one thing in Maverick that I don't already have, only more so, with 3rd party add-ons.
Apple seems bereft of ideas now and I am totally mystified what it is doing with all that money and employees it has accumulated.

  • Automatcally create Project from Sales Order

We are on SAP R/3 4.7. We are currently using Project system for customer projects. We are manually linking the WBS element to the sales order item.
We are considering to automatically creating project from sale order.
Can someone offer any suggestions or recommendations?
If you have already done in the past, did you encounter any issues or concerns that need to be considered?
    Thank You
    Sanjay

    Hi,
    As per standard configuration:
1.) Maintain requirement class in OVZG as 80
    2) Maintain Requirement type in OVZH as KP and assign 80 there
    3) Strategy in SPRO->Project System->material->Strategy and maintain requirment class and requirement type and account assignment there.
4).Then maintain strategy in strategy group...it would be same as 85.
5). Then you can maintain item category from SD side and item category group from MM and assign these item categories to SD document type .
6). Now create standard templates(Project and network activities and make assignment to standard project)
7). Create configurable material(Variant configurator) in MM01 as KMAT and maintain item category group as same defined above and maintain strategy group in MRP tab same as defined above.
8). Now assign these Variant configurator to standard network and projects in CN08.
Look into these setting would definately help you.

  • Problems creating invoice from order (DI API and SBO)

    Hello all!
I´m getting various tax problems using the following code to automatically create invoices from existing orders.
    For Each currentKey In arrABEntrys
      objInv = objCompany.GetBusinessObject(SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oInvoices)
      objAB.GetByKey(currentKey)
      objInv.CardCode = objAB.CardCode
      With objInv.Lines
        .BaseType = SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders
        .BaseEntry = currentKey
        .BaseLine = 0
        For i = 1 To objAB.Lines.Count - 1
          objInv.Lines.Add()
          BaseType = SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oOrders
          .BaseEntry = currentKey
          .BaseLine = i
        Next
      End With
    If objInv.Add() = 0 Then
    Else
    End if
The result of objInv.add() was first "5002 - 'Tax Definition (1)' (a very informative message to me).
Then I checked my admin tax settings and put a check on "EU".
The next time the result was "10 - Customer´s tax ID not defined OINV.LicTradNum"
Actually, I don´t want to pre-set any fields in the invoice, because the order looks complete to me.
By the way: The error occurs in SBO, too.
    Thanks for help in advance!
    Best regards
    Marian

    Hi Marian,
Your Error "10 - Customer´s tax ID not defined OINV.LicTradNum" is not working (through DI and in SBO)
occurs because your "Federal Tax ID" is not set up against the Business Partner. (This is on the main page of the Business Master Data Screen).
Set this up and it will work in SBO and the DI API!

  • Missing in Automatic Document Update (PO's from Contract)

I need to run automatic PO update on open release orders after updating the contract. The 3 release orders do not have GR's against them or any other follow-on documents.
The CONDBI setting is made for the message updates. The automatic index indicator is on in the vendor master. Because I set the indicator after two of the documents were created, I am running MEI3 to get my index up to date and it is creating entries for the documents in the index.
My contract has two condition periods - one from today to 21.11.2010 for the current price; the second from the 22.11.2010 to infinity with the new price.
My release orders have delivery dates of 22.10.2010, 15.11.2010 and 15.12.2010. Two documents were created 8.9.2010, the third was created today. These documents are selected for the index.
When I run MEI1, SAP tells me the documents were processed successfully, but no changes are actually made. I would expect, with the delivery date of 15.12.2010, that the program would update the release order with the new price, since the delivery date falls after the price change.
If I run MEI4 on the same data, the system doesn't create a worklist, saying there are no changes.  No entries are created in WIND table, unless I make the price change effective immediately on the EKPO-NETPR field - even when using the pricing date field  to indicate the later change (the condition change is also not re-effecting my release strategy on the contract, but that's another problem).  The BD61 change pointer setting is on.
I'm not sure where to go from here to try to get this functionality working.

To automatically created Approved PO's you will need the following
    1. To create Standard PO's a Requisition will have to use a Quotation. This quotation can be attached to an ASL to default while creating a req
The Workflow "PO Create Documents" should have automatic creation allowed set to yes
    2. To create Releases a Blanket PO must be attached to an ASL . The Workflow "PO Create Documents" should have automatic creation allowed set to yes

  • Automatic PO creation when neither from Contract or Inventory items.

    Hi All,
I have unique situation where PO were automatically created from Shopping cart upon approval when they did not have a Contract or for inventory items. The only difference noticed was it has preferred vendor assigned during SC. My thoughts is the SC documents should end up in Sourcing when there is no contracts found or not procured for invoentory.
We are in SRM 5.0 Extended Classic and SP 15.
I am not sure what might trigger these Shopping carts to be PO automatically upon approval. Please advise
    Thanks
    Rao

    Hi Muthuraman,
I understand inorder for SC to become PO, it needs to have a fixed Vendor. but my issue is the SC does not have a fixed vendor(no contract) but a preferred vendor was entered. Though preferred vendor is entered and Vendor is not fixed, PO was created after SC approval which should not be the case. My SPRO settings has 'Sourcing carried out for items without assgined source of supply'
    Please advise.

  • How to create sales order Automatically with reference to contract?

how to create sales order automatically through batch or online? can anyone please suggest what needs to be change in SAPMV45A program?

    Hi,
Wt am able to understand from the above question is, you want to create automatic sales order against contract on a day to day basis by doing batch program, hope am wright.
See you can do it in two ways.
    1. By using BDC, in SHDB T code record how exactly you will do transaction and then give it to your abaper rest he will do. he will write a program and he will schedule that program every day night.
    2. By using BAPI. Just check in there are many threads are there which gives sales order bapi. Tell your abaper to map that bapi and tell them to schedule back ground job.
Hope this will help out in solving your problem.

  • Automatic PO from contract

    Hello!
I want to create automatic PO (release order) from contract.
What i want, is when I create a contract a release order to be automatically generated.
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
you can get auto PO (release order) in case of MRP. For that, you need to assign the contract in the source list as a fixed source. Then all the PO s generated in MRP would get released against the contract.
    I hope, it is helpful.

  • How are deliveries automatically created from scheduling agreement?

How are deliveries automatically created from the schedule line of the scheduling agreement? Can anybody explain this step by step? Can we use the code VL10BATCH for this purpose? If we can, how is this code used?
    Thanks in advance.

    hi
A customer scheduling agreement is an outline agreement with the customer containing delivery quantities and dates. These are then entered as schedule lines in a delivery schedule. You can either create schedule lines when you create the scheduling agreement or you can create them later.
You fulfill a scheduling agreement by creating the deliveries in the schedule as they become due. You process deliveries for a scheduling agreement in exactly the same way as you process a normal delivery. After you have carried out the delivery, the system updates the Delivered quantity field in the scheduling agreement item with the delivery quantity.
The scheduling agreement is used as a basis for delivering a material. The customer sends in scheduling agreement releases, referred to as delivery schedules, at regular intervals to release a quantity of the material.
    Document Types
To configure document types for scheduling agreements, choose Sales -> Sales Documents -> Sales Document Header -> Define sales document types in Customizing for Sales and Distribution.
The R/3 System contains the following document types for component suppliers:
LZ - Scheduling agreement with delivery schedules (no external agents)
LZM - Scheduling agreement with delivery orders
LK - Scheduling agreement with delivery schedules (external agents)
ED - Delivery by external agent (consignment issue)
    EDKO - External agent correction
RZ - Scheduling agreement returns (no external agents)
KAZU - Consignment pick-up for external agents
KRZU - Consignment returns for external agents
    Item Categories
To configure item categories for scheduling agreements, choose Sales -> Sales Documents -> Sales Document Item -> Define item categories in Customizing for Sales and Distribution.
The system determines the following item categories for the related document types in
documents containing materials with item category group NORM:
Item category LZN for scheduling agreement type LZ
Item category LZMA for scheduling agreement type LZM
Item category LKN for scheduling agreement type LK
Item category KEN for document type ED
Item category EDK for positive corrections (or the manual alternative EDK1 for
negative corrections) for document type EDKO
Item category REN for document type RZ
Item category KAN for document type KAZU
Item category KRN for document type KRZU
    Schedule Line Categories
To configure schedule line categories for scheduling agreements, choose Sales -> Sales Documents -> Schedule lines -> Define or Assign schedule line categories in Customizing for Sales and Distribution.
The R/3 System contains the following schedule line categories for component suppliers:
L1, BN, L2, and CN for item category LZN
E4, E0, E5, and BN for item category LKN
L2 for item category LZMA (standard for delivery order processing)
    Schedule Line Types
To configure schedule line types for scheduling agreements, choose Sales -> Sales Documents -> Scheduling Agreements with Delivery Schedules -> Define schedule line types in Customizing for Sales and Distribution.
    Creating Scheduling Agreements
To create a scheduling agreement with delivery schedules:
    1. In the Sales menu http://Ext. choose Scheduling agreement ->Create.
    2. Enter scheduling agreement type LK (standard) or LZ (external agents) and the
    relevantorganizational data.
    3. Choose ENTER.
    4. Enter the following data:
    Sold-to or ship-to party number
    Purchase order or closing number
    Material or customer material number
You can use the Description field to identify the scheduling agreement. For
    example,
you could enter the model year for a particular production series.
The system allows up to 35 digits for a customer material number.
    Rounding quantity
    Usage
Choose Goto -> Header -> Sales to enter the usage at header level, or Goto ->
Item-> Sales A to enter it at item level. The system proposes usage S, for series, as default in both cases.
    Planning indicator
    Choose Goto -> Header ->Sales.
    Target quantity
Mark an item and choose Goto -> Item -> Sales A
    Partners
For scheduling agreements with external agents , choose Goto -> Header
->Partners to enter the external agent as forwarding agent and special stock partner
    on the partner function screen.
    5. Create a delivery schedule
Mark an item in the scheduling agreement and choose Goto -> Item -> <Delivery
    schedule>. Enter:
A delivery schedule number and date
The cumulative quantity received by the customer
The last delivery confirmed by the customer
A schedule line with date, time, and quantity
To enter additional data in the delivery schedule, choose DlvSch.Hdr (delivery schedule header).
    configuration:
    img->SD->Sales->sales document->scheduling agreements with delivery schedules->
    step1: define schedule line types
schedule line types are not schedule line categories. Schedule line types are used for information purpose only.
stds are 1. fixed date 2. backlog 3. immediate requirement
    4. estimate
step2: maintain planning delivery sched. instruct/splitting rules
The planning delivery schedule is an internal delivery schedule used to plan requirement s more efficiently.  It is sub divided into 3 parts
    2.1 delivery schedule splitting rules
    2.2 dly schedule instrusctions
2.3 assign dly schedule splitting rules
    step3: define sales documents type
    step4 : define item categories

enter SP,SH valid from, valid to,
    goto ITEM OVERVIEW tab
    enter material, rouding qty
select ITEM  click on FORECAST DLSCH
enter different dly dates and qties
    save it.
step2: create sales order with reference to above
    step3: create delivery
    step4: create billing
