Axis2 error on sunone app server 8.1

Hi, I tried to deploy axis2 1.3 sample web service StockQuoteService
on SunOne app server 8.1, and I keep getting errors when trying using
http (and same error using Java client):
http://dapp1.dev.netsol.com:57050/axis2/services/StockQuoteService/getPrice?symbol=IBM
Response:
<soapenv:Reason>
<soapenv:Text xml:lang="en-US">unknown</soapenv:Text>
</soapenv:Reason>
On Server side, error in server.log:

Anyone has similar experience or any clue? Thanks.

I have the same exception, even though my java home is:
c:/java/jdk1.5.0_04/
I checked the asenv.bat file and it has the same home directory. WITH NO SPACES.
set AS_JAVA=C:\Java\jdk1.5.0_04\
I appreciate any help regarding this issue!!

The requests are not passing through to the app server when i try to access it through port 80.
Presently I am testing my appln over port 81 on the app server.

Each ObjectType and Service directive should begin on a new line. You appear to have placed two directives on a single line.

  • Strange Gateway Error with one APP Server (WSAETIMEDOUT)

    Hello Everyone,
We are experiencing a strange gateway timeout issue on one application server in our SAP environment.  This started happening after we applied a series of Microsoft patches and updated the SAP kernals from 179 (DB 172) to 185 (DB 182).
From this App server we are seeing all kinds of gateway errors, the following is a sample from the dev_rd file from the server in question:

I have done alot of searching and I have tried the following things:
    1) Checked the services file of this machine, they line up with all other systems
    2) Attempted to telnet to other App servers on 3200, 3300, 3600 with no success
    3) tried to connect via SM59 to another App server with no success
    4) Attempted to do all of these things in reverse from the another app server with the same results.
This is only happening with one app server in our landscape and this app server has no issues connecting to the CI.
Any ideas on where I can look further?

    Hi,
on sappe1exp5  try the following command in a dos prompt:
    telnet sappe1exp4 sapgw00
this should also time out i.e. hang for a certain amount of time (~50 seconds) and then terminate with error.
It simply means that the IP address 10.10.0.21 is not reachable from your client PC.
Maybe you changed some IP addresses during patches. Usually there is an RFC destination that is not functioning properly.
    Best regards

  • Errors during SUNOne Direcory Server 5.1 installation

I am trying to install SUNOne Directory Server 5.1 SP2 on a Windows 2000 Server system.
I have done is a number of times before, so far without any problems. However, this time, when installing the server, I get the following error messages every time:
    - Setup is unable to store configuration data in the LDAP directory
    - Unable to create Administration Server configuration
    - Could not authenticate ldap connection, "Unknown error"
    - Unable to set ACI in Configuration Directory Server
I know these errors are usually caused by DNS naming problems, and I have configured naming in the following way:
    - Host name: dg-sv10
    - DNS suffix: geodelft.nl
    - 3 valid and working DNS servers configured
    - added the following line to the machine's hosts file:
    <ip address> dg-sv10.geodelft.nl dg-sv10
I have tried the things that are usually suggested (finishing installation, uninstalling, rebooting, reinstalling), but this doesn't offer any solution.
I am getting rather desparate here, so I am looking forward to any suggestions that might help me get this thing to work.
    Thank you and regards,
    Rutger van Bergen

    To Reinstall the iPlanet
    Follow the Following Steps
    1) Uninstall the Previous Installation.
    2) Re-Start the System
    3) Run the Following command from the run Window Services.msc
    4) Stop the Following Services
    5) a) OracleOAS1013 ProcessManager
    b) WWWPublishServices
    c) any DB started should be stopped
    6) Install the iPlanet With Server option
    7) Check and Run all the Above Services and the Following Services also
    8) iPlanet Administration Server 5.1 and iPlanet Directory Server 5
    9) Login with the user id : admin and Pwd and Url ( here Port number is : 389 for directory server by default ) and check for the system generated one as example: http:// xxx.xyz.xyz123.com:28808..(xxx - is the machine name and xyz is the id and the xyz123 is the domain extension:28808.
    Now it should work....

    Hi Gurus!
I have a program that runs in the background and updates or uploads or inserts the tables with data in background and generates an error log . I would like to write this file on the windows serevr from the application serevr during the run of the program itself automatically. I tried running several jobs with my program but its not writing to the windows serevr , it writes on the application and then stops . Is theer a fault in my coding above.

  • Problem in using asant tool in Sunone Apps Server 8.0 on Windows XP

    Hi,
I am using asant.bat tool to build example applications in j2eetutorial14.
whatever taget i am using to build the examples in sample directory ie,
    <J2EE_HOME>/j2eetutorial14/examples/web/bookstore> asant build
    <J2EE_HOME>/j2eetutorial14/examples/web/bookstore> asant create-db_common
    , etc
always I am getting the java usage:
    Usage: java [-options] class [args...]
    (to execute a class)
or java [-options] -jar jarfile [args...]
    (to execute a jar file)
    where options include:
-client to select the "client" VM
-server to select the "server" VM......................
This is the new problem I am facing now after using this server quite a time. As far as i knew i had done all the prerequisite before building these samples since this was working for me nicly. Now it is not working with any allternatives. I even re-installed the server again. I am not able to trace out the problem.
Can any suggest something to resolve this issue.. I am in desperate need of help.
    Regards,
    Sangram

I was able to compile and build the codes in j2eetutorials14 recently. Now after few days I need to compile the code again .
But when I am running 'asant build' command as given i tutorials I am getting ''asant' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file." error.
I am not able to find out why suddenly asant is not available???
Any pointers will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks

  • HTTP 500 error when opening "App Server Control" (EM) in OAS 10.1.3.5.0

    Hi,
I have some (but not much) experience with OAS and am currently stuck. So hope to find someone who can help me further here.
When i open Oracle Application Server Control from the SOA Suite 10.1.3.5.0 home page i get most of the times an HTTP 500 error.
Initially i got this even when i opened the login page (/em) but worked around this by increasing the ThreadsPerChild from 100 > 250 in the httpd.conf and replacing the loopback adres 127.0.0.1 in the dms.conf for the virtual host configuration to the actual (fixed) ip-address.
The current situation is that when i restart the environment (opmn stopall & opmn startall) i can open the the EM login page.
After logging in om the Enterprise Manager, the page is partly loaded and a HTTP 500 error is shown when i refresh the page.
    The apache log files now still shows the following errors;
[Tue Sep 07 15:46:19 2010] [error] [client 10.157.1.68] [ecid: 1283867060:10.150.50.110:10312:9568:5,0] mod_oc4j: Failed to find a failover oc4j process for session request for destination: application://ascontrol (no island or jgroup).
    [Tue Sep 07 15:51:20 2010] [error] [client 10.157.1.68] [ecid: 1283867060:10.150.50.110:10312:9568:5,0] mod_oc4j: request to OC4J SOA-WTST:12501 failed: Connect failed
    Any hints ?
    Kind regards,
    Peter

    If finally found the cause of the problem, lack of PermGen space for the home instance;
When opening the EM Console most of the times i was able to open the login page, under stress opening this page failed most of the times.
    The ascontrol-application.log pointed me in the right direction;
    10/09/07 15:26:59.111 ascontrol: Servlet error
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
When monitoring the PermGen of the home instance, is showed that the system was running out of PermGen space.
Increasing the PermGen size for the home instance in opmn.xml did the trick
    <data id="java-options" value="-Xrs -server -XX:MaxPermSize=128M......"

  • Error while starting App server for Oracle B2B

    Hi..
While starting application server, we are getting the below error hi http server log
    Start process
    /b2b/web_cache/Apache/Apache/bin/apachectl start: execing httpd
/b2b/web_cache/Apache/Apache/bin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries: libdb.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file
    or directory
Because of this even HTTP_Server is not comming up.
Does anyone have any idea on this?
    Please help.

    Hi Cema,
Make sure that httpd.conf file (located at /ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Apache/conf ) has not changed.
Is your AS running on Linux? ".so" is used in case of linux only and for windows extension should be ".dll"
Please use the same if your http server is running on windows. HTTP Server documetation may have more details related to this.
    Regards,
    Anuj
