Azureus and java error

I just installed Azureus together with java on a fresh 0.7.1 system and when i try running azureus i get the following error message:
/usr/bin/azureus: line 4: java: command not found
I've got j2re-1.5.0_04-1 and azureus-2.3.0.6-1 installed. This is probably where i simple to fix, but i have no clue...

Here's how I fixed it:
Edit .bash_profile
Add this to the end of the file:
PATH=$PATH:/usr/java/bin
(assuming /usr/java/bin is the location of your java compiler)
Then close terminal session and restart the session again, if you plan to run azureus from the command line.

I don't know anything about Crystal Reports whatsoever, and I couldn't care less frankly. There has been an excess of postings on these forums about this product, whatever it may be.
If Crystal Reports isn't relevant to the problem why was it mentioned? In the title?
And in any case why was it posted in a forum entitled 'Reflections & Reference Objects'?
And your suggestion that it's up to me to do the research is fallacious and indeed ludicrous.
And the error message 'java.io.FileNotFoundException: http://localhost/viewer9/javaviewer/ReportViewer.jar' is entirely self-explanatory.
And it strongly appears to have something to do with the deployment of Crystal Reports.
None of which is a Reflections & Reference Objects problem, or a Java problem, or Sun's problem.

Error 500 and Java Error after BOBJ 4.0 installation

I have installed BOBJ 4.0 and I have also installed SP 1 and SP 2 with FP up to 10.
Now when I tried to launch CMC or BI Launch Pad I get following error. Following error started appearing after unsuccessful single sign on and SP updates.

I don't have many distributions, in the moment I only use distributed
server policies for around 20 servers seperated into 3 channels.
Before the process will abend the server has around 90,000 total cache
buffers. During some processing the cache buffers decrease down to
12,000-13,0000 and then the ZfS process will terminate. This will happen
everyday around the same time, between 22:30 and 23:00. The regular
distribution schedule starts 22:00. There is no backup during this time.

Paypal and Java error

Hi I am on a macbook pro and for some time nw I have been able to print labels off of paypal's shipping options when they run on Java.
Tonight as it tries to load the applet it gave me an error.
"Java Plug-in 1.5.0_24
Using JRE version 1.5.0_24-b02-357-9M3165 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM"
I tried follow some advice I read in a past situation on here about downloading Java 6 and I also rearranged the order on the preferences to give it priority and it won't show the Label or print, in other words it doesn't work.

Not sure if this will help but worth a try.
Quit Safari.
Go to ~/Library/Preferences. Move the com.apple.print.PrintCenter.plist and the com.apple.java.JavaPreferences.plist files from the Preferences folder to the Desktop.
Relaunch Safari. Try printing. If it works, move those .plist files to the Trash.

I read some thread in the forum, and found somebody had the similar problem with me. Just want to know how to settle this problem.
In the client/server program. Client is a JAVA program and Server a
VC++ program. The connection works, and the problem appears after some time. The Client sends a lots of requests to Serverm, the server seems receive nothing. But at the same time, the server is able to send messages to Client. The Client also can get the messages and handle them. Don't understand why there this problem and why it appears when it wants.
The client is a Win2k platorm with JDK1.3.1 and the server is also a Win2K platform with VC++ 6.0.
In the Client, using:
inputFromServer = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(socket.getInputStream()));
outputToServer = new PrintWriter(new BufferedWriter(new OutputStreamWriter(socket.getOutputStream())),true);

Report Script returns no data and "java.io.FileNotFoundException" error

When attempting to write to a new file (Eg: C:\TEST.txt), Report Script returns no data and "java.io.FileNotFoundException" error occurs.
This error occurs only in Essbase 9.3.1.3 release, however it works fine in release 9.3.1.0.
After running the report the script, it pops up the follwing message:
"java.io.FileNotFoundException: ..\temp\eas17109.tmp (The system cannot find the file specified): C:\TEST.txt"
When checked the TEST.txt, it was empty.

Sorry folks, I just found out the reason. Its because there was no data in the combination what I was extracting.

You do not have to explicitly point the server to a compiler. Its already in
the IDE classpath. Can you provide more information on the steps you
followed.
You had stated that you had created a new workshop domain. Is this the
domain in which your are creating the new application ?
You can choose the server when you create the application or by editing the
application properties.
Can you verify this ?
Can you test the built in sample to check if it works fine ?
What is the operating system that you are working on ?
Can you try by creating a new empty application, and an ejb project and let
me know the results ?

Well I solved my problem.
What still doesn't make sense though is that dragging iTune audio files directly on to the iTunes application icon gave me the error message... which is why I originally discounted it as being a potential link problem. If I had been able to get files to open normally (i.e. without an error message) I would have known it was a simple link problem. Strange.
Anyway... relinking my folder of audio files did the trick.
If you don't already know how here are the steps...
iTunes > Preferences > Advanced > click on the "Change" button and browse to the folder that contains all of your iTunes audio files... that's it.

Abap and java stack together gives error message...

I am trying to install abap stach and java stack together.
I installed abap was without problem but when I install Java i get the error below.
I tried SP09 and since it didnt work Sp07 also since I had it with me downloaded before.
Any help ??? Got stuck
I need to install together to practice webdynpro...

While creation of SC, I am getting error "Error during VM container communication between ABAP and JAVA"
Based on earlier responses in this forum, I checked following activity.
1. T Code - BBP_CND_CHECK_CUST
Result - IPC Pricing is Active and IPC is now running in VMC
2. Run Report - RSVMCRT_HEALTH_CHECK
Result - The Java component is deactivated
3. As per OSS note 854170, Profile parameters were existed as below
a) vmcj/enable - on
b) vmcj/option/maxJavaHeap = 200M
So, How to get Java component activated?
