B1isn BO2BO from sql to DI Service object

Hi,
I'm trying to transform an object, when the sender object is J.AnySystem type, and the reciever is a DI API of type Service.
I got to this situation because I'm trying to do initialize one company with all Project service of another Company.
So I get all objects as J.AnySystem, and my reciever object type is a generated object of service type.
I have a problem with my xsl file. all messages fail, and I think the problem is because the namespace.
In the Guid 04, 7.3.3 I see that the sender element is in the namespace of JDBC.
I think that the recieves element should be with no namespace.
Can someone help me what is the problem in the xsl?
below is the XSL, the error message and the message that was passed.
Thanks,
Chana
This is my xsl:

Hi Carlos,
the problem you suggest is caused every time you run windows xp update (from Ms Web site) procedure or install something for OS (eg: Sdk 1.1).
To fix you have to:
1) uninstall DI Server, Server tools, SDK.
2) delete the SM_OBS_DLL directory (in your temp directory c:\documents and settings\"user"\local settings\temp (check show folders and files on options))
3) reinstall DI Server, Server tools, SDK.
That's all.

  • Integrating Reports from SQL Server Reporting Services

    Dear Experts,
    I am given the URL to a report from SQL Server Reporting Services. The URL looks like
    [http://<report_server_host>/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?/<category>/<report>&<list_of_parameter_value_pairs>]
    When this URL is executed, the user will be prompted for user name and password.
    And I am given the following requirements:
    - Integrate the report into SAP NetWeaver Portal
    - The report has to be passed parameters with values generated at runtime and which must be hidden (because it is sensitive data)
    Initially, I have been working on two options:
    1. using Application Integrator (portal application: com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap, portal component: Generic)
    2. using URL iView
    With the Application Integrator, however, I got the following error:
    The operation you are attempting on item "/" is not allowed for this item type. (rsWrongItemType)
    I cannot find the solution to this. It looks like the URL which contain "/" after "?" is not appropriate for the Application Integrator.
    So I turn my focus away from the Application Integrator, but to using the URL iView instead. And in order to hide the parameters passed, I make the following settings in the URL iView:
    Request Method = POST
    Fetch Mode = Server-Side
    But then I got the following error:
    Failed to fetch the content. The response status was 401.
    Message:
    (I have defined an HTTP system and used it in the URL iView.)
    Does anyone know how to fix the errors (either with the Application Integrator or the URL iView)?
    Your answers will be much appreciated!

    Sakprasat Sum

    Hi
    Was a solution for this found?
    I am trying to achieve the same thing, create an iView that links to an existing SQL Reporting Services report.

    I want to disable push buttons for delete and edit from the toolbar of Attachment list from service objects.
    how can this be achieved ?

    Hi Sandeep,
    I am not totallt getting your point but can suggest following points:
    1. Check whether these object are displaying in DIR's as object links.
    2. If it is there then it shoud be displayed in document data of those objects.
    3. Check that documents are properly checked-in.
    Hope this may help.

  • Migration from SQL Server Reporting Services to Oracle Reports 10g

    Hi,
    I have few reports which have been created using the Microsoft Sql Server Reporting Services.Now i want to create similar reports using Oracle Reports 10g.
    Will i need to start from scratch the creation or is there migration tool that would reduce the efforts for the same.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Connecting to Amazon Redshift from SQL Server Reporting Services

    Hey all,
    Just a general question for now as the company I work for is looking to migrate our current data warehouse from SQL Server 2008R2 to Amazon Redshift.  Currently all of our reports on our intranet are SQL Server Reporting Services reports and
    I have been tasked with finding out whether or not we can connect SSRS to Amazon Redshift.  I see that Amazon Redshift is a SQL data warehouse and uses industry standard ODBC and JDBC connections and PostgreSQL drivers so many popular software vendors
    are certifying Amazon Redshift with their offerings to enable tools to still access RedShift.
    If SSRS can connect to Amazon Redshift, can you also advise me on how this can be done so I can begin playing around with it.
    Cheers

    Hi there,
    You might want to try the Windows AMIs.
    http://aws.amazon.com/windows/amis/
    For local access, you'll probably need to install 32-bit & 64 bit Postgres drivers on the server & developer machines.
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/17323590/redshift-with-ssis-ssdt
    http://michaeljswart.com/2013/03/checking-out-amazon-redshift/
    Then you'll need to configure connection strings in your data source and test.

  • Encrypt Excel Export from SQL Server Reporting Services prior to attaching to e-mail

    Does SSRS 2012 have a secure e-mail Delivery Extension that would allow the Excel document to be encrypted?
    Or is there sample code?
    Or is the best approach to consider a Microsoft Partner product such as Database Potential, Inc.'s "Secure Delivery Pack for SQL Server Reporting Services"?
    http://www.databasepotential.com/product-p/sdp.htm
    Thanks in advance for any thoughts or feedback regarding this topic.
    Boyd

    Hi Boyd,
    Currently, it’s not supported a delivery extension that encrypts documents before sending them in Reporting Services. If you have the SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) environment, you can use the following workaround:
    1. Using SSIS Script Task to encrypt the report before exporting it to the Excel file.
    2. Add a Send Mail Task to send the Excel files to the recipients.
    For the details, please refer to the document below:
    http://microsoft-ssis.blogspot.in/2011/10/encrypt-files-in-ssis.html
    In addition, we can try to use .NET API approach. In this scenario, we need capture the Excel file using the WQL Query of FileWatcher, and then encrypt the file, finally email the Excel File.
    For the details, please refer to the blog as shown below:
    http://microsoft-ssis.blogspot.in/2010/12/continuously-watching-files-with-wmi.html

  • How to show or publish the TFS - SQL Server Reporting Services reports in SharePoint dashboard?

    Hello,
    We have configured SharePoint site and SSRS for a team project.
    Foll. is the SharePoint site for the team project. When we click on the REPORTS link, it redirects us to the SQL Server Reporting Services website.
    My question is: How can I show or publish the reports from  SQL Server Reporting Services into SharePoint so that I can view the reports on SharePoint dashboard rather than having to go to the SSRS URL?

    Hi Nachiket,
    If you configure Reporting service for your TFS, then you can view the reports in report manger site when you click click report on Team Explorer. And SharePoint is a collaboration website product that offers deep integration with Office products like Word,
    Outlook, and Excel. You can save your team project related files in your SharePoint site. Check this
    page for more details.
    If you want to view reports that generated by reporting service on your SharePoint site, you might need to save the report in Excel and upload it to SharePoint site.

  • Non Windows Credentials Sql Server Analysis Services

    I am attempting to connect to an OLAP cube using power query from sql server analysis services, but without windows credentials.  Is there a way in which I can perform this action?  It doesn't seem to support this type of connection without using
    windows credentials and I would like to use a different username and password.

    Not today. It's a frequently-requested feature, so I expect we'll probably implement it relatively soon.

  • Service object start-up

    Hello. We'd like to be able to determine when a TOOL service object
    starts up from within another TOOL service object. I understand the
    problems with service object start up ordering, but I'll summarize
    them here:
    1. You can't reference a service object until it's up
    2. You can't guarantee a service object to be up unless
    a) it's a non-TOOL SO (DB Resource Manager or DB Session)
    b) it's a TOOL SO in another partition which is numerically lower
    than yours
    According to Forte support, we should put our dependant service objects in
    different partitions and use the numerical startup to get them going. For
    example, if SO A depends on SO B, we need SO B in partition 1 and SO A in
    partition 2. Also, if we have A depends on B and nobody else uses B, we
    should probably use A as an umbrella for B.
    But what if we don't want to do this? What if we don't want to take the
    performance hit from the partitioning? What if we've got multiple
    client-visible SOs that interact? We tried this scheme:
    in A.Init():
    super.Init()
    start task Startup()
    in A.Startup():
    while B_SO = NIL do
    task.part.operatingsystem.sleep(SPIN_TIME);
    end while;
    // now do stuff with B_SO
    self.Ready = TRUE; // users can test this to see if A_SO is ready
    The above works sporadically. According to support, that's because
    testing the NIL reference isn't like testing for NIL on a normal object,
    the name service is involved and that can screw things up.
    Anybody have something that works? This seems to be a really stupid
    feature of the system.

    Neil-
    The reason your scheme fails occasionally (I'm pretty sure) is the
    "start task" in the init method.. The only thing you are guaranteed by
    partition order, etc, is that the "init" methods are executed (i.e. the
    objects are instantiated) in the order you want. If you start
    asynchronous tasks from within the init method, all bets are off as to
    whether the spun-off asynchronous task will get done before the next
    service object init() is called or even before the first client is
    allowed to come on line.. All depends on the thread switching, which of
    course cannot be predicted or counted on (hence the term "thread-safe
    code").
    I use something similar to the subsequent writer on the thread (Mark
    Sundsten) except that service objects which need other objects (like
    services requiring DB session brokers) go through a multi-step process
    waiting for the broker to be up and truly ready for business:
    Keep testing for a legal reference to the broker until it is non-NIL
    and no exception
    Post an "areyoualive" event on the broker with suitable
    retry/error-handling until positive response
    The broker, of course, does the start task startup() sort of thing in
    its init method, the final step of which is to begin responding to
    "areyoualive" events with the proper response.
    The final trick is that no services on the service object work (they
    block/wait) until the object has successfully started (including the
    wait for the broker). This is to avoid client requests from being
    processed before the service is ready.
    With this technique, you can put service objects and their brokers
    wherever you want to. I wish it was simpler, but when you enter the
    world of multiple threads you need to carefully plan your startup
    behavior and bullet-proof all code to be thread safe.
    I've also seen techniques where the first actual service request
    performs a startup if it hasn't been done already. Sort of the "lazy
    instantiation" of service-object startups.. Problem is, of course, that
    for the reason outlined above the first client can come alive and begin
    asking for things from the services before asynchronous tasks started in
    the init methods are done. If you go this direction, make sure you
    understand this nuance and have no ansych startups occurring in init
    methods.
    Hope this helps.

  • SCSM object history from sql cmdb

    HI.
    In this post explain how to accessing object history programmatically using the SDK  http://blogs.technet.com/b/servicemanager/archive/2011/09/16/accessing-object-history-programmatically-using-the-sdk.aspx
    I try to do this from sql query. And get trouble. Can you help me?

    You cannot write a single query to get the history of all the CIs. You have to decide which CIs you want to track as each CI has its own table and columns. They all derive from System.ConfigItem but it is a abstract class so there is no table for it.
    For example: If you want to write a report to capture the history of all Computer CIs, the tables you will be interested in will be MT_Computer, MT_Computer_Log. Then you have to compare Pre and Post columns.
    To capture what kind of change, you need to query EntityChangeLog table.
    Here is the good article that may be able to help you:

    Hi,
    “All but one database are upgradable. However, one database gives:
    Invalid object name 'Webs'.”
    Did the sentence you mean only one database not upgrade to SharePoint 2013 and given the error?
    One or more of the following might be the cause:
    Insufficient SQL Server database permissions
    SQL Server database is full
    Incorrect MDAC version
    SQL Server database not found
    Incorrect version of SQL Server
    SQL Server collation is not supported
    Database is read-only

  • Entity Object (EO) issue using "Derived from SQL Expression" funtionality

    I am using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6
    In my use case I am trying to get my EO to return results from a query such as the following:
                   SELECT table1.my_id,table1.my_des,
                   count(table2.store_num) as storeCount
                   FROM table1
                   LEFT JOIN table2
                   ON table1.my_id = table2.my_id
                   group by table1.my_id,table1.my_des
    I have chosen to follow the path described in the following URL:
    http://www.exploreoracle.com/2010/09/07/using-transient-attribute-with-derived-from-sql-expression-in-jdeveloper-11g/
    To begin with, I created my EO's and VO's by using the "Business Components from Tables" wizard. This created EO and VO's for my 2 tables based on the DB schema.
    I added the VO's to an app module and tested both VO's. I was able to navigate both VO's.
    I then crreated a new attribute for the table1 EO. Please note that table1 does include 7 fields prior to this field therefore this becomes the 8th field. That is important once you get to the exception being thrown. The XML is as follows
              <Attribute
              Name="StoreCount"
              IsUpdateable="false"
              IsQueriable="false"
              IsPersistent="false"
              Precision="5"
              Scale="0"
              ColumnName="STORECOUNT"
              SQLType="NUMERIC"
              Type="oracle.jbo.domain.Number"
              ColumnType="NUMBER"
              Expression="(select coalesce(count(*),0) as StoreCount from table2 where my_id = table1.my_id)">
              <Properties>
              <SchemaBasedProperties>
                   <LABEL
                   ResId="STORE_COUNT"/>
              </SchemaBasedProperties>
              </Properties>
              </Attribute>
    I then tested the VO's again in the app module and everything continues to work fine.
    I then added the new attribute to the VO by doing "Add Attribute from Entity".
    I then tested the VO for Table1 and now get the following error. Could you please advise me as to what I might be doing wrong.

    The Is Updatable attribute on the EO is false which I assume is the same as never. Here is the current config for it:
    <Attribute
    Name="StoreCount"
    IsUpdateable="false"
    IsQueriable="false"
    IsPersistent="false"
    Precision="5"
    Scale="0"
    ColumnName="STORECOUNT"
    SQLType="NUMERIC"
    Type="oracle.jbo.domain.Number"
    ColumnType="NUMBER"
    Expression="(select coalesce(count(*),0) as StoreCount from table2 where my_id = table1.my_id)">
    <Properties>
    <SchemaBasedProperties>
    <LABEL
    ResId="STORE_COUNT"/>
    </SchemaBasedProperties>
    </Properties>
    </Attribute>
    This attribute is in the same order in the VO and it is in the EO. The VO code is as follows:
    <ViewAttribute
    Name="StoreCount"
    IsUpdateable="false"
    IsQueriable="false"
    IsPersistent="false"
    PrecisionRule="true"
    EntityAttrName="StoreCount"
    EntityUsage="MyTable2EO"/>
    The VORowImpl has the attributes in the same order as well.
    Do you have any additional suggestions.

  • Cannot change SQL 2008 R2 Service account from local System to any account

    Windows 7 64 Bit Developer Edition of SQL Server 2008 R2
    Successfully changed SQL Server Agent, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL  Analysis Services, SQL Server Integeration Services and SQL Full-Text Filter Daemon Launcher from Local System Account to Domain account.  Howerver,  I cannot change

    I have tried many things with no luck:
    Tried using a different local administrator account
    Tried putting the Domain account I want to change to in the local admin group
    Tried adding the Domain account I want to change to in all of the SQL created local groups
    I think im going to have to reinstall to change the account.  What up!@!!
    -thanks for any help in advance.  Its probably something dumb i did or did not do.

    Select "This account", and then click "Browser".
    Enter you domain account and then click "Check Names"
