B2B Delayed Login, User Switch after browsing Product Catalog

CRM/ISA 4
We want to give our B2B users the ability to browse our Product Catalog without having to have login until they're ready to create an order or even a basket if that's required.
I have found some references to a FM SUSR_INTERNET_USERSWITCH, but all of those refer to using it with a BSP program, not the ISA.
Please explain how to achieve this requirement.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Nelson,
I had reviewed that but was doubtful it would work given the flow as shown below.  What we are looking
for is the ability for step 5 from the link to be step 1 for all intents and purposes...
Have you experimented with it and found that it doesn't work the way SAP Help details?  I'd be very
happy to find that they were wrong!

  • Safari misbehaving with fast user switching after Mavericks upgrade

Anybody else have this problem with fast user switching?
Since upgrading to the worst OS upgrade in history, not only have I lost TB's of data from my external drives, but Safari is behaving like a spoilt brat when fast user switching is used.
If I leave safari windows open and switch users, then switch back, the Safari windows are collapsed to about a tenth of their normal height and stuck in the top left of my screen. When I say stuck, I mean that if I attempt to move them, they snap back.
The best part is, it's not consistent, so I can't reproduce it at will.

I have a 2014 BTO 27 inch iMac and I have the same problem with open windows being locked to the top left/right of the screen and just a fraction of their previous size after switching to other users and then switching back. In addition if an open window is not bugged into either of the top corners it may still get re-sized
Due to screen backlight issues, I went through being shipped (and returning) 3 BTO iMacs before settling with this current one and each of those iMacs had the same fast user switching bug. This leads me to think that a re-install will not neccessarily solve this issue as I am assuming that the BTO iMacs they shipped to me from China were brand spanking new. We see this behaviour with Safari, Chrome, Mail, iCal, and iTunes since these are the apps that we commonly leave open. We do not have these as full screen apps either, just open windows.
It is very easy to replicate this bug. Open a few of the above mentioned apps, and then switch to another user; I'm guessing even the guest user will do if you have no other users on your system. Switch back to the first user and more than likely one or more of the windows will be anchored at the top left or right of the screen, depending on where the window was initially. As stated by a few other users above, this doesn't always happen but switch users a couple of times and it is bound to happen before long.
Curiosly when my windows are anchored on the left after switching users, the upper edge of the window is hidden BEHIND the menu bar. If I pull the window down it appears that the red button is off screen to the left and only that portion of the window to the RIGHT of the amber button is visible.
When the windows are anchored to the right they are BELOW the menu bar, and only the red and amber buttons are visible and only that part of the window to the LEFT of the amber button is visible.
In both cases it seems the amber minimise button is the window cut-off point.
You wonder how they could have broken this feature since ML and much worse, still not have it fixed 3 months later.

  • Replicating Product Catalog for CRM E-commerce (empty)

    Hi All,
We have CRM 5.0 and trying to implement B2B E-Commerce. We created a product catalog in the CRM and configured XCM and shopadmin application. We created webshops for B2B. The B2b Webshops list is available.
I replicated the product catalog, but When I watch the ftp folder I saw is empty. The system created folder but not images.
But after selecting any of the shop we get this error.
*The catalog that you have selected is currently unavailable; try again later *
Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem.
We have checked Trex and J2ee connection too
    ¿Thank you

    Hi Lyda,
My best suggestion is, to separate the catalog product content from MIME (images) content while publishing.
First try publishing only a very small catalog product content without images. You can do that by not entring any value in the field - 'Publishing Computer ID' Also no need to check any of the check boxes under this field. Make sure you have enabled all required catalog components (header, variant and products etc) Also make sure you have all green lights after the initial replication.
If you have some red lights then check each red line for the error. Make sure you have esablished the necessary connection to TREX using tx SRMO
Also check XCM configuration http://CRM server:port/b2b/admin/xcm/init.do for a valid webcatalog component configuration.
If all of the above settings are OK, then check with BASIS team whether TREX installation is done properly with appropraite XCM configuration. Since you are on CRM 5.0, then SLD is a valid component where TREX has to be registered with it.
You may tcodes SRSE. TREXADMIN and SES_ADMIN to validate the TREX availability and indexing.
Hope this helps you in solving your problem
Do not forget to reward the useful answers

  • Replicating Product Catalog  for CRM E-commerce

    Hi All,

Is it possible access to WebShop witihin replicated product catalog?
    Thank you

You replicate your product catalog to the TREX server to enhance search functionality and scalability, and to improve system performance for your customers. You replicate your product catalog from your ERP server to the TREX server, using an ABAP Report.
    Transaction code     ISA_CAT_REPLICATION
You use the transaction ISA_CAT_REPLICATION (ABAP Report ISA_CATALOG_REPLICATION) to replicate product catalogs from your SAP ECC server to a TREX server.

  • Triggering switch user window after delay

Is there a way to automatically bring up the switch user window after a delay (like a screen saver)? One thing I actually like about XP is how it goes to the login screen automatically after the screen saver (but doesn't actually log out the user). I know if I put a password on my Mac screen saver I can force people to open the switch user window manually, but this seems like an unnecessary step.

Does Ciao do what you want?

  • Slow Login, Slow "Fast User Switching"

Hi--I have a Core Duo, Intel iMac running Leopard 10.5.2. The initial log-in is very slow (several minutes) for any user--whether it's the initial boot up or switching users using "fast user switching." But all seems to work well once the login completes. After a user, or multiple users, rather, are logged in the first time, fast user switching works normally.
Also, if two or more users are logged in, and a user logs out, it takes forever for one of the other logged-in users to log back in.
I've tried turning off fast user switching and rebooting; I've disconnected all USB devices; I've repaired permissions; I've rebuilt the directory structure using Disk Warrior 4.1; I've created new accounts (the problem is identical in all accounts); but theses measures didn't work. I know previous versions had issues with font caches, but I'm not sure how to delete these in Leopard. Anyway--anyone else encounter this problem? Thanks!

Well, I did an "Erase and Install"--and THAT didn't get rid of my problem... Well, I SHOULD say it did--for the first boot-up into the new system worked flawlessly, but I courageously and foolhardily chose to "Transfer" my files and settings from my backup disk. Voila, the the problem of the "blue screen of death" (not really death, just long delay) was restored, along with all my data. So I did another "Erase and Install," and this time only manually restored my user accounts--and I'm happy to report: ALL IS WELL....
I'm thinking that the troublesome application that was conflicting with Leopard was the "Boot Picker" pane that I had trouble disabling or deleting from the previous installation of Tiger. I do have a Windows partition, but apparently Boot Picker should not be used with Leopard. I did go through the "Boot Camp" installation process in my first upgrade to Leopard, but that process didn't remove the earlier installation of Boot Picker.
This is still just a guess, and I'm hoping, as I continue to reinstall miscellaneous application on my newly re-installed system, that the problem doesn't come back (or if it does, it comes back at a clearly-identifiable moment).

  • Apps do not launch after fast user switch; requires restart

I have 3 users accounts on a mid-2010 with 12 GB RAM; two with parental controls - the kids.
The kids like to play games (particuarally Minecraft), so will log in a play for a while. Typcially when one is done playing they will use the fast user switch menu to go back to the "Login Window..." They are pretty good about shutting down the apps afterwards due to previous performance issues.
When the second user logs in, the only application that seems to work is Finder. Clicking on an app in the dock results in the "Denied"sound. Tyring to launch from Finder or from the dock using "Open" results in nothing happening. It just seems to ignore it - not even the spinny wheel.
It is almost like everything is locked for the second user and the restart clears it. Generally it is responsive for the upper menu items so it does not seem to be a memory or CPU issue. Activity montor does not show anything out of the ordinary.
This does not occur on my accout which I am currently running as an admin. (I shouldn't but am). I can login and run all the applications but if I switch to the second user nothing launches.
I have re-installed Mavericks, and ran both the file and permissions repair on disk. I cleared all of the old cahce. The only thing that seems to work reliably is to restart the system.
It also seems that if the first user logs out then when the second user tries to log in the system just seems to hang after trying to log into the second account. It swtiches to the user screen but gets stuck with the spinny wheel; this requires the one finger force reboot.

Generally yes, they will keep running. You can confirm this by running the "Activity Monitor" app to see their CPU usage.

  • Cannot login to secondary accounts; can't fast user switch

I am on a Macbook, 2 GB RAM, 120 GB hard drive, 10.4.8. Today, I developed a strange problem with logging in. I have auto login set so I log in automatically to my main account, which (thank God) works. However, if I access Fast User Switching to switch to a secondary account I have set up, called Test, the transition starts (the cube rotates) , switching to a solid blue screen...and never goes any further. I cannot seem to find any way to bring up the login screen on startup, either; I must allow my main account to boot up, and then try to switch accounts. If I turn off auto-login, I get the login screen, but login to the other account still fails.
If I select, instead, the Login Window from the Fast User Switching menu, I get that screen. But when I select an account other than my main account, and try to log in, I get that blank blue screen. I've waited many minutes to see if something will eventually happen, but no go. The only way to get control of my Macbook back is to hold down the power button until it shuts down.
I have run Tech Tool diagnostics and have repaired permissions (no errors found). I deleted my Test account, and redefined it; I also defined a second test account, one with admin privs and one without. No problem creating the accounts. However, when I try to log in to those accounts, the computer hangs on the blue screen.
I'm not sure when this problem began because I have not been using my Test account for a couple of weeks. A lot has changed since then.
    Any suggestions, anyone?

More info: I turned off auto-login, and was able to log in to my test account. Then, I was able to use fast user switching to switch to my main account. I will try again restarting into my main account and see if I can switch to Test. This failed consistently before I posted here. Perhaps the "sense Mac guru" circuit kicked in and cured the problem. I'm about ready to turn in so won't post a follow-up until tomorrow. Right now, I need to use my two accounts to get the job done (a writing job with screen shots of a new unaltered account). Then, I'll go back to trying to see if the problem still exists when I log in to the main account first.

  • Screen has a bluish tint after fast user switching and then warning tone

Hi all I'm having a bit of a problem that I hope someone can help me with. First the details, I have a MBP bought in late '07 and running Tiger. I was doing full backups using "Backup" and I also had Safari, iTunes, and Word open. I briefly switched to my other account using fast user switching and when I returned to the original account the whole screen had a blue tint to it. Like the color profile was off. This has happened before and a restart usually cures it, I haven't restarted yet but I am fairly certain it will correct the problem this time too. But is there anyway to prevent this? My second question is the one I'm more worried about. It also has happened before but usually when using more CPU intensive applications. When I went to System Preferences and opened up the display preferences in an attempt to correct the previous problem I heard a very loud tone. Like some type of warning tone, it was loud enough that it startled me. I had iTunes playing and after the tone the music got very quiet but relaunching it brought it back to normal. I'm just wondering is this some type of warning tone? Is it something I should be concerned about? Besides the music everything else seemed unaffected, although the previous times that this has happened usually when using handbrake there was noticeable problems after the tone (like applications crashing). All of these problems are gone after the computer is restarted though. Does anyone have any insight on these issues? Thank you.
    -James

OK I ran TechTool and everything passed except for the volume scan. Then I checked this with Disk Utility and the HD failed for a few minor reasons, like invalid block count. I repaired it using the fsck -fy command in single user mode. The computer seems a little faster now. I don't know if this error is related to the beep in any way, I may try talking to an Apple genius to see if they know. Since it seems like pretty minor errors I'm not too worried about it but it does seem to be happening often. The last time I had this error was when I posted a question here about it which I just checked was on March 1st. So this error happened again after a little more than 2 weeks which seems excessive to me. Any thoughts?

  • Why are deleted user accounts showing up in login window and fast user switching menu?

There are several old user accounts, just test accounts when I was studying for ACSA that I deleted, which continue to show up in the login window and the fast user switcher menu. I deleted them before upgrading to Lion (I think it was before). The accounts do not exsist in the /Users folder, nor even the /Users/Deleated Users folder. Additionally they do not show up in the list of users in System Preferences. Can anyone give some advice on how to remove these "ghost" accounts from the login window and drop down menu?
    Thanks
    dc

Hi. Thanks for the link. Sorry it took me a while to get to this, the problem is not a show stopper, so to speak, so tried your advice when I had the time. Unfortunatly it did not work. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

  • Headset disappeared from Sound prefs after user switch

I set up my BT Headset (Logitech Mobile Freedom) with the BT Assistant, paired it successfully and selected it as In/Output device in Sound prefs. To test the device I switched to my other user account and went into Sound prefs again: oops, the headset was gone from the preference pane as I/O device! I haven't been able to recover the headset in sound I/O on either user account, after restart, deleting BT plist files. Is there a solution to bring the prefs back?

This seems to be the same error as reported in other headset related sound prefs disappearances. Andrea's suggestion (see below) to remove /var/root/Preferences/blued.plist and a reboot resolved the problem.
Shouldn't it be sufficient to remove blued.plist and restart the blued daemon instead of rebooting?

    Hi adil,
For your issue, you can create a custom security token service (STS) and then set up a trust relationship between a SharePoint 2010 farm and the custom STS.

  • Trigger Automator action upon re-login from fast user switch?

I normally leave my account logged in on my Mac, and via fast user switching, return to the login window when I'm away from my Mac. (So my account stays logged in, but OS X remains at the user login window.)
When I re-login, (how) can I trigger an Automator action to execute upon my return to my account?

Try adding the action to your Login Items in Accounts preferences.  Save the automator action as an application first.
