Back ground job: Spool as a attachment in mail

Question

Hi,
A mail should be sent to the user in the distribution list on compleiton of the background job of a program. Along with that, the spool need to be sent as an attachment.
Please let me know the steps involved in triggering a mail after completion of batch job and the attachment of spool.
