se puede programar algo en illustrator como para lograr que haga backup automáticamente cada un determinado tiempo?

No sé la respuesta a tu pregunta porque no uso Illustrator, pero en mi opinión no siempre es buena idea respaldar automáticamente. Si el archivo en que estás trabajando se corrompe segundos antes del respaldo automático y no alcanzas a desactivarlo, perderás la buena copia que tenías. Para trabajos importantes, yo prefiero ir guardando Archivo1, Archivo2, etc., y una vez que termino el trabajo, elimino las copias superfluas excepto la última. Por si acaso.

Currently i am doing export with the help of MaxL script scheduled through Windows Scheduling, Well as export it the most time consuming meth in all of the possible ways what is the best the can be adapted.

Puede utilizar el SBO Mailer para este propósito (debe configurarse antes de usarse), se crea una alerta de manera similar como se hizo la anterior pero seleccionando en la lista de destinatarios la columna "Correo electrónico". De este modo cada vez que se dispare la alarma se envia por e-mail a los destinatarios seleccionados el resultado del query.
Si se desea enviar a mail externos, se deben crear como usuarios (no requieren licencia) los destinatarios colocando la dirección e-mail, así aparecerán en la lista de destinatarios de las alertas.

1) descrição passo a passo do caso;
2) Versão do Business One e SQL utilizados, bem como o PL;
3) Print screen dos passos e da mensagem de erro (de preferência em inglês);
4) tamanho da base de dados afetada em formato ZIP ou RAR.

Mail backup, automated with Mailbfr & Cron. Not working!
I have been using the Mailbfr utility for a while now, brilliant tool!
Following the manual I tried to get mailbfr to be run by cron every night, somehow this is not working. I keep getting this error in /var/log/system.log:
+Mar 5 02:00:01 Saturn com.apple.launchd[1] (0x100c80.cron[4161]): Could not setup Mach task special port 9: (os/kern) no access+
This is the contents of sudo crontab -e:
+0 2 * * * /usr/sbin/mailbfr -b /Volumes/Backups/MailBackup --mode rotate+
I have been searching for the 'Mask task special port' problem which apparently seems to be some sort of bug, but is there a solution??
Also, I did just notice that my own admin account on the server has two cron jobs from a backup tool called SuperDuper. They do work.
Help?I think that the conclusion for the problem is that ANY task performed by CRON results in this error being printed to the log.

2. Move the Report Server Database
3. Configure the Report Server
4. Create a reporting services point on a Configuration Manager 2007 site system computer (not sure if we need to create the folder on report server)
5. Configuring Properties for the Reporting Services Point
6. Copying standard Configuration Manager reports to Reporting Services (not sure if we need this when the SSRS database is recovered?)

i want to take a cold backup of my database every day and delete need to delete 2 days old backup, so that i can maintain 2 backups(today's and yesterday's) in my hand... Again, rman will do this for you, and more, and much more simply
for this can any one provide me a script to make it automate by adding to crontab.If someone else hasn't by the time I get back to my hotel room this evening, I'll post an rman solution. It is a waste of time to work on a non-rman solution. -
Erro ao pagar um pedido para a geração de Adiantamento automático.

Estou com um problema ao tentar efetuar um pagamento em um "Pedido de Compra" para gerar o "Adiantamento a Fornecedor" automaticamente, porém aparece a seguinte mensagem:
"Pagamento acumulado ou valor de IRF podem ser modificados [Mensagem 3546-36]"
O item no documento de marketing não retem imposto, e na linha do documento de marketing tambem está como "não" reter.
Alguém já passou por esta situação, e tem alguma solução???Everton, boa tarde,
estamos enfrentando essa mesma mensagem, porém, na movimentação dos boletos para contas a receber.
Conseguiu sanar esse problema?

Oracle Backup End to End Automation with BRBACKUP and RMAN
Hi,
We are about to implement a Oracle on mySAP 2004 or 2004 i.e. either NW2004 or NW2004s. Currently we are on DB2 UDB.
We are going to use legato for backup.
legato networker module (I guess this is module built for BACKINT) for SAP is too costly, so we are looking at alternatives for backup using legato without using networker module.
We have virtual tape library (disk that emulates as tape library). we plan to keep 30 days/versions of backup there.
Can we use BRBACKUP and RMAN to achieve end to end backup automation without using networker module by using the BRBACKUP delivered options and integrating to RMAN.
I do see BRBACKUP options like tape_box and pipe_box. Are these will be useful to achieve this.
Other question is do we really need to integrate with RMAN. What are the advantages.
So far I see the advantages with RMAN are 1. incremental backups. 2. Online backups are handled more consistently than normal.

Again for my dev and qa systems we are not planning split-mirror.
My plan is to back them up straight to VTL (disk based). Do you think using RMAN here helps (because of incremental) ?
I was recently going through 10g features. Looks like 10g has a feature that you can merge incremental with level0. Does brbackup supports this?

I have been searching for a tutorial or an explanation of how to program an Automator workflow or application to back up my iTunes library to multiple drives. I have a large amount of media associated with iTunes which puts me over the limit for iTunes Match. Plus my movies that I have gotten from digital downloads will not be synced through iTunes Match. Since I have so much I want as much redundancy as possible, preferably to backup each subfolder piecemeal onto multiple drives as well as Time Machine and a full backup of just iTunes on a large drive. With the amount I have it is also cumbersome to order everything by hand and not have to be overwriting every time.
I have read up on rsync and a handful of Automator tutorials trying to figure something out. I can't get rsync to install, or if it is, run. I also have not found out how to make a cascade in Automator to sync only changed files, weather they are new or deleted.
I'm hoping someone can help me create the correct cascade to make this happen. I know Automator can do this I just don't know how.

How do I create custom Photoshop/Illustrator actions in Automator?
Hi all,
I'm doing a video project with some fairly tedious processes involved on my files. I'd like to use Automator but I think I'm missing some key points on how to use it. Google has not yielded anything fruitful on the matter so I decided to bring this to the experts on this board.
Here is the process I'd like to automate. Keep in mind I know how to do each step in its given application, but have not been able to figure out how to plug these into Automator sequence:
- Use Quicktime to covert a movie file into an image sequence
- Take that image sequence and use Illustrator to covert each image in the sequence to vector
- Convert each .ai file produced into a jpeg using Photoshop
I need these steps done for over 100 movie files. My main problem is that Photoshop and Illustrator don't appear in my application list within Automator. Can I add these? If not, I'm not sure I understand how to write an action for either application. I even downloaded some third-party Photoshop scripts and added them but the application icon still does not appear within Automator.
I also tried "record" while doing all the steps manually, but Automator didn't seem to pick up anything I did (unlike the old versions of Apple Script Editor). Please help! Thanks a mil...
MikeFinicky is not the word for Watch Me Do... I feel like Apple's old record button in Script Editor worked better than this. Anyway, red_menace, thanks for the link - very helpful.
After lots of trial and error, I managed to get my Quicktime script to work. I did a Watch Me Do action, then from the list of those actions in the Watch Me Do step in Automator, I extracted individual actions by dragging them out below to the space for the next step, and a "Run Applescript" step appeared. I put something together with the idea that I could drag a desired movie file onto this Automator application and have it executed. This is what I have so far, in order of Automator steps:
1. Open Finder Items. Got this from a pre-installed action for Finder. I selected Quicktime 7 as the app to open. This assumes a movie file has been dragged onto the application file that Automator creates to open the file in Quicktime and kick off the script.
2. Run Applescript (extracted from the Watch Me Do recording). I adjusted the "delay" time to be long enough as I found having too short of a delay messed up the whole automation. This step is to tell Quicktime to bring up the Export dialogue (a simple Command-E button press). The script is as follows:

I poked around online and found that the AppleScript equivalent for enter is "key code 36", so I replaced the blank space with that. I wonder if this is because I'm using a non-Apple keyboard... The script is as follows:

The above three steps work well for my movie file export from Quicktime, but what I'd REALLY like is to do is repeat these steps for every movie file in a given folder with one click. Any ideas on how I'd accomplish that?
I also tried to string in further actions for Illustrator but no luck - I kept getting errors in Illustrator. First, I got the error "The object "Play Action" is not currently available", and once I figured out how to get past that error (just extended the delay time), I got stuck on the error "Could not complete the Play command because the action is playing". In a nutshell, I'm trying to get Automator to open Illustrator and play an Illustrator Action. Again, open to any ideas. My Illustrator action is a simple one: Live Trace, then save file.
