BADI for Sourcing Cockpit in SRM 7.0

Hi,
I need to filter the shopping carts that are displayed in the sourcing cockpit by the user's Purchase Group and Purchase Org. Can anyone tell me what BADI I should use for this? We are using SRM 7.0.

Hello,
Method BBP_WF_LIST_SOCO has been activated as of SRM 6.0 due to note 1158310 (still valid). It says:
In sourcing cockpit first screen it is possible to search for shopping
carts. Sometimes customers want to remove some shopping carts using all
shopping cart fields. Till now it wasn't possible because the BADI:
'BBP_WF_LIST' method: 'BBP_WF_LIST_SOCO' has not been offered.
So, this method will be called after the search is started and you can use your own filters within this one.

Screen variant for Sourcing Cockpit.

Hi all,
    I copied the standard screen variant for Sourcing cockpit and made Product number visible in the Z version. When I run BBPSOCO01 transaction in GUI, I can see the Product number. But, in web browser I don't see it. I have implemented screen variant BADI to call Z version instead of standard screen variant. Do I have to do anything in ITS? Any help will be much appreciated.

Buyer not able to change fields of SC in sourcing cockpit in SRM 7.0

We are on SRM 7.0 , SP 07 . We are in classic mode.
Buyer is not able to change fields of shopping cart in sourcing cockpit like delivery date and quantity . He is able to add supplier and create PO . Even when he creates draft PO , he is not able to edit the fields of shopping cart like delivery date and quantity. Is it a standard Bug , is their any OSS SAP Note for this

As per SAP Standard BUYER can only vendor and Enter price and create a follow on document.
Buyer does not have a control to edit other data.
Buyer wants to they can do it in ME21N ..PO
not in the shopping cart

Sourcing Cockpit in SRM

Hi,
How can we modify the content in the Sourcing Cockpit, for example, can I configure the visibility of fields in the work area of the buyer?
Coming to External Requirements, is there any way I can sort by release date of the PR from ECC?
Also, I have seen a search filter (in extended search) called priority, where is this priority set on SC/requirements and how can we use this field?
Please share your expert opinions on this.

Customize Sourcing Cockpit in SRM 5.0

Hi experts,
i'd like to know how is possible to customize in SRM 5.0 (back Ecc6.0, Classic Scenario) the Buyer' Sourcing Cockpit.
Is there a particular workflow? Is the operational purchaser the right role?

How to use rules in BADI for 3 step approval SRM WF

i am working on three step approval workflow...based on the costcentre and product category it has to be approved...i have defined rule responsibility for this...now i need to bring this rule responility values to my BADI bbp_wfl_approv_badi...i think there is a std function module available for this..can anyone tell me what is the fm or else is there anyother way to do that..

Business use of bypassing sourcing cockpit

Hi experts,
In which scenario, 'process purchase order in draft' is used instead of sourcing cockpit? What are the benefits in such cases?Personally, I donot see much of any benefits here. Say, a shopping cart with three items have been ordered. If we configure 'sourcing not carried out' for three items, the ordered shopping cart will result in three purchase orders in draft stage. Even if all three items could have been sourced from the same supplier, we now cannot bundle it together to create a single purchase order.

Hi,
The business case for not using the sourcing cockpit would be as follows:
You are using catalogs, where prices, vendors and contracts all come with the item and there is no need to search for these via the sourcing cockpit.
There is a difinite source of supply, ie you can use Vendor lists where you have a predefined list of vendors that you wish to
source your items from...then the source is already found and again no need for sourcing cockpit.
In the shopping cart itself there is a Source of Supply tab where you can search for all valid sources of supply, ie, vendor, contract etc. So this is like a mini sourcing cockpit, the sources found would be the same in the SC as in the Sourcing Cockpit. So there then would be no need to send the item to the sourcing cockpit.
Like above also you can still use the Grouping report to group any items your wish to group in the same PO.
Also please see note 1380879, where it lists all splitting critieria on why your items would split into different PO's, normally if all criteria are the same then no split happens and one PO would be created for multiple items.
The benifits of using the sourcing cockpit would be more flexibility:
You can create different kinds of follow-on documents eg. PO, Contract, Bid Invitation.
With the Bidding option there is a negotiation side of things where your vendors can submit their prices etc. This would suit some customers.
All customers needs are different, this is why you can choose to use this or not.

Problem with Sourcing for multiple line items SRM 7.0

Dear All,
We are in SRM 7.0, extended classic scenerio,
For sourcing we have selected config "Sourcing is carried out for items without a Assigned source of supply" for all sytems and all product categories
Our requirement is Catalog items should not go to sourcing, Item with and without assigned source of supply both should go to sourcing and external requirements SC should go to sourcing.
We have done coding in BADI "DOC SAVE BADI" and "BBP_SRC_DETERMINE" method DETERMINE_SOURCING.
Now we create SC with line items only using Catalog it is working fine, SC not going to sorcing,
Create SCfor line items with assigned source of supply only it is working fine, SC going to sourcing,
and Create SCfor line items without assigned source of supply only it is working fine, SC going to sourcing,
But problem is with the combination of all items i.e. Catalog, with and w/o assigned source of supply in one SC
Assigned source of supply item is not appearing in Sourcing cockpit, and some time catalog items also available for sourcing.

Are you checking here sc has item or sc has supplier or not ( fixed supplier) in the logic? it must be item check.
As per sap standard , catalog item / fixed source of supply assigned will not venture to cockpit (Sourcing is carried out for items without a Assigned source of supply)

PR to SRM Sourcing Cockpit Issue

In ECC, the ME_SOU* BADI is implemented to activate sending PR of type RV to go to SRM Sourcing Cockpit.
The necessary Workflow Event Linkages are activated in ECC to send the PR to SRM.
When the PR is released, it does not trigger the event to call the workflow. The event trace SWELS at the time of releasing the PR does not show any events triggered.
Any thoughts here to resolve this issue?

If you are going to transfer ECC PR to SRM via SOA, the following steps should be configured well in ECC side:
1, LOG_MM_P2PSE_1 should be activated via trx SFW5 in ECC side;
2, implement BADI ME_REQ_SOURCING_CUST;
3, go to trx SWETYPV and check if the following objects are existing:
BUS2015 RFXREQUESTED
BUS2105 SOURCINGREQUESTED
4,activate outbound message as below:
(ERP) Transaction SPRO -> Other mySAP.com components->Supplier Relationship Management->
Message Control-->Activate outbound messages through qRFC
BUS2015 RFXREQUESTED
BUS2105 SOURCINGREQUESTED
5, configure RFC destination for workflow system
6,configure RFC destination for SAP XI
7, create SU01 XI user
8, trx olme: Portal >Set Up Landscape
9, trx smqr: MMPURS_BUS2105_* should be registered.
XML message should be triggered after this.

Using BADi's BBP_PGRP_FIND and BBP_WF_LIST for Sourcing

   We are running on SRM 5.0(SP6),Strategic Sourcing scenario.
Our process is as follows:
1.Transfer of PR's from R/3 to SRM.We are setting 3 definate Purchase groups in the requisition whcih we are transferring. (001,002,003 - depending on doc type and prod cat. )
2.ORG Plan in SRM has got three Purchase groups whcih are linked to the above backend purchase groups.
Requirement is that while transferring the PR's from R/3 to SRM,system should set the field "<b>proc_group-objid</b>" in SC based on the Purchase group that is set in the PR in R/3.
In short while processing the SC's from Sourcing cockpit, we need to control the creation of Bid Invitation for each user based on the responsible purchasing group he is assigned to.
Also i know that BADI BBP_WF_LIST can be used to restrict the display list in Sourcing cockpit but how can the authorization for the user be used for restricting him to create Bid invitation for other Purchase groups?

We have handled a similar scenario quite a long time back.
1)
I guess, it can be possible with a mix of custom BADI Implementations.
Try the BADIs -> BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK
                         BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI
                         BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI
in your case to code the logic.
2_ For the case of BBP_WFL_LIST BADI ->
Based on the system attributes of the Ogr User we can control the List display. But it needs a quite trick logic.
If possible, send me the detailed requirements. I will try to help you out.

Search Help for Custom field in Sourcing Cockpit

Hi SRM Experts,
I added custom field "rush order" in the Structures as per requirement. I added code in MODIFY_SCREEN function module. Search help is working for "rush order" in Process Purchase Orders (to search PO) and Check Status (Searching Shopping Cart). But it is not working in sourcing cockpit. Please guide or suggest me is there any additional settings or programming is required to have search help for custom fields in Sourcing Cockpit.

Transaction --> spro --> Integration with Other mysap.com components --> Supplier Relationship management --> Plan driven procurement

SRM 5.0 Sourcing Cockpit (SP 09) issue

Hi,
I'm working on plan driven scenario with system SRM 5.0 (SP 9 - SAPKIBKT09) and ECC 6.0 (SP 8 - SAPKNA7008).
Yesterday we have upgrade SRM package to 09 from 08, and now we have the following issue:
when I try to convert SC (created from a back end purchasing requisition via plan driven channel) in sourcing cockpit into a GOA it's raised the following error <i>"Some backend documents could not be generated, or they contain errors"</i>, that before upgrade there isn't!!!
I hope someone could help me.

for a. I still see the following option:
Get a PR into Sourcing Cockpit, extend the contract, close the PR in Sourcing
Cockpit (modify the email sent,when the complete button is pushed).
Besides, I would question the buyer, why he did not extend the contract on own
intension - seems there is a bigger stroy behind this requirements
For b., I am sorry, but I do not understand yet and I have no suggestion yet.
When one ECC PR is transfered to SRM the counterpart is one SC. I assume,
you want to group single items of several SCs into one PO? This would be
possible via the grouping function.

Sourcing Cockpit not available in SRM 7.0

Hello everyone,
I want to select a shopping cart from my workload in SRM 7.0, the transaction ppb_pd shows that the shopping cart will be shown in the sourcing cockpit of my account.
Now I have the problem that the sourcing cockpit is not in my menu. I think it depend on the roles, but the user get the portalroles 'operative purchaser' and 'strategic purchaser'. We have no connection from the portal to our SAP ABAP System for the User Administration, in this moment, we create every User in the su01 and in the User Administration of the SAP Portal.
Maybe you know about the problem or you have a solution.

Now I find the Program "Role Upload" in SAP NetWeaver Portal --> System Administration --> "Role Upload"
I search and find the Role "SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER - Professional Purchaser" import it. As expected with a failure.
Is this the right way to import it or is it necessary to connect the portal user database with the one in the abap system? Or is it also necessary to activate services?
