Bank of America credit card

I've been banking with BOA for the last 5 years and my scores are averaging 640-650 . Do you think I would qualify for a BOA credit card?

I don't bank with them, but applied and twice was offered a secured card. I'm going to accept the latest one because it's the 99/500 card. My scores are right around your range too. You never know until you try...

  • Online banking statement and credit card statements will not display in FF 4.0 on either Win 7 or XP. Falling back to 3.6 fixes problem on both computers and sites.

After upgrading to FF 4.0 I am not able to access or display my bank statements or credit card statements. I have a laptop running Win 7 and a desktop running Win XP and have same problem on both. Statements are in Adobe PDF. Upgraded Adobe to vers. 10 at banks suggestion but did not help. I have now fallen back to FF 3.6 on both PC's, and it now works on both PC's, one running Adobe Reader 9 and the other running Adobe 10.
Additionally, my email provider (bbwi.net) "Squirrel Mail" times out and logs me off every 15 minutes or so in FF 4.0, even when I am actively composing mail. Falling back to FF 3.6 also fixed this problem

1st, you will not be able to activate your PPro1.5 on ANY new computer, see next link for the special version you MUST use
    CS2 (and earlier) Activation Server http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/creative-suite-2-activation-end-life.htm l
2nd, you already mentioned Virtual XP, so if a direct install doesn't work, that would be the way to go... or, to just do what SHOULD work from the start, just do Virtual XP

  • I don't have bank account or credit card can I still use PayPal?

Hi I am 18 and I do not have a bank account or credit card or anything kind of cards like that but can I still sell on eBay and use my paypal account to buy things online without having these items?

To use funds in your paypal account balance you need to have a back up card linked to your paypal account as well.        *************************************** I give up my time to help you so a thank you or kudos would be cool.
Marking one of my replies as a solution would be appreciated if I sorted your problem.

There should be a User Agent Switcher menu item under Tools, which gives you the browser names you can impersonate.
The menu item name changes to the browser UA you are presently using.
There is also a User Agent Switcher button, you can add it using View -> Toolbars -> Customize, and dragging the button to your toolbar.
    See http://chrispederick.com/work/user-agent-switcher/features/ and http://chrispederick.com/work/user-agent-switcher/help/
You can just start trying IE versions (or the versions it says on the site) until it lets you in.

  • Skype charging my bank using hacked credit card

I am seeing charges from Skype in my bank acount for charges I did not make. These charges are not associated to my skype user account, nor does my user account have any banking information...

Your buyer can fund their paypal payments however they want to. However for you to accept payments (if they are not using the friends / family option) you need a business account to accept credit card funded payments.                                   ************************************* I give up my time to help you so a thank you or kudos would be cool.

  • Can't register with itunes with a credit card from outside the USA

Who do I write to, to complain that because I don't live in one of
the countries listed in the drop down list on the Itunes store, I
cannot register my credit card OR purchase from Itunes ?
I am trying to register to buy online with ITUNES. However the
system does not seem to allow me to change the country from the
United States to Argentina where I live and where my Bank of America credit card is registered !
Come on guys, I thought Apple was better than this and recognised
that there is a world outside Bill Gates' USA ! How can I change the
    country ?
    [email protected]

Unfortunately, if your country doesn't have it's own store, you are out of luck. Content providers such as record companies require a CC with a billing address from the country that you use. The content providers require this rule as they do not care for cross-border sales, so it really is not Apple's fault.

  • 10.4.11 Security update and bank of America

I installed the update last night. I attempted to access my Bank of America credit card account today. When I try sign in at the "enter online ID" step, I get a page the says: "Bad request, your browser sent a query that this server could not understand".
I have tried sign-on with Omniweb, Firefox, Safari and Opera. Cleared cache, cookies and history.I repaired permissions (after the update only), and used Macjanitor as well. Bank of America says that I must have installed a new firewall. By the way, I tried a sign-on with my kids Windows computer and that works fine.
    Any suggestions?

I think I found the problem. BOA uses Macromedia Flash ( I think) on it's site. I went to my system library and deleted all preferences for Macromedia Flash and viola: I can sign on again. Perhaps this will help someone else.

  • Apple pay credit card appearance

I have two Bank of America credit cards. One is my personal and one is my business account. Besides the last four digits to distinguish them is there a way to change the graphics of the card so it is very easy to see which one I can use per transaction? For example the personal car would with a blue background and the business card would be black? anything to make it easy to visually see what card i am using at each time.

No.  The graphics are not user changeable.
What you can select, however, is the default card to use when you bring up Apple Pay to make a payment.  Do this at Settings > Passbook & Apple Pay > Default Card.

  • Firefox 4 will not not download statements from bank and credit card sites like pervious fire fox releases

I have a Mac Pro Laptop and I can not down load bank statements or credit card statements to my download folder using Firefox 4. Your earlier versions would down load those files directly into my download folder. I would like to reload the last version of Firefox but there is no place to do that. I need to be able to down load these statements. Because these companies have requested to go paperless and I saw no reason not to comply you have now put me at a very interesting position sense I can not save my statements through the internet using your browser. Please let me know if you are unable to correct the problem so I can find a browser that will work.

Nothing happens when I try to download file. They are PDF file or files that can be open in Adobe Reader

  • Bank of America Platinum Visa (Slightly Secured)

Good Evening FICO Community,   Well two months ago I received a mailer for a Bank of America Secured card offer.  The beauty of this offer is that I only had to pay $99.00 and they would give me $500 CL.  I read it twice to ensure I was reading the exact thing, and I was.  With that new source of information, I decided to take a chance as this would lead me to having a Prime card with the current cards in my wallet.  Well anyway, weeks pasted and no card, but a letter stating that I had been declined.  I was kind of deflated, but two weeks ago I received a letter from BOA indicating that they had made an error with several online applications.  Could it be, I was actually going to receive a card.  Long story short, I called and they said they still had my application under review.  Yesterday, in the mail I received my shiney BOA Visa with card member status 15.  I almost cried!  To some, that would not be  big deal; however, I have only had my scores go over 600 once and that was at the time I applied online.  Now they have dipped 20 points below, but I plan on paying off the balances I have.   My real questions are; does anyone else have this card and if so did they increase it after a year or so?

I totally agree with you in regards to spending a little and PIF.  Unfornately, I have balances on my CAP cards that I have to get down before I charge on the BOA.  I am very excited to have received it as I never thought I would with my scores.  I believe in second chances and I believe this and my Discover Secure are opportunities for prime credit offers again.    Thanks so much!silverbimmer04 wrote:
Congrats on your approval... Keep up the good work !   Remember to charge small amounts and PIF every month ... I just got the card this month also and that is what the personal banker told me to do, and in about 6 -9 months they will review my account to unsecured it, depending on my payment history and management of my other accounts..  I wanted to be in with BOA as I have heard good things about them on this forum... This forum has helped me tremendously !!!!

  • Credit Card Stopped Working "Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day"

!!! SUCCESS : read below !!! I was on Premium and Spotify was charging my credit card (last charge in January 2015).  Then in February I got an email saying I needed to update my payment information and I lost Premium. I ended up deleting the card and re-adding it after talking with email support.  Everytime I tried to "upgrade to premium" I get this error message.“Oops, seems your card or payment provider is having a bad day. Don’t worry, no money has been charged. Try again or use another payment method.”  Spotify support already told me to check with my bank and I have. The card works, there is no block on any transactions.  The credit card company says there haven't even been any transactions attempted by Spotify (nothing to decline). I have a Chase Sapphire VISA card in the USA. Anyone else have this problem?  Anyone at Spotify think they can fix this?  So far, email support has only told me that it's my bank's fault or to try a different payment method. ** Update **Spotify support confirmed that it's a Visa card. Didn't say if they attempted a transaction or not. They suggested it might be something wrong with my account and that I should create a new account and upgrade it.I refuse to change anything from what was working in January until Spotify gives me a reason things are broken. ** Update **Spotify support contacted the Payments Team. They said it "might be because our system needs a little time to catch up with things".  They recommended waiting 48 hours before trying to upgrade to Premium again. This doesn't make any sense to me, but I'm will to try it.They gave me another free month of Premium while I wait.  Much appreciated. ** Update **Regarding the last contact I had with Spotify Support, I waited for a few days and tried again. Didn't work.  I repeated the process a few days later and still didn't work. I repeated for a third time a few days later and still didn't work. I replied to Spotify Support and let them know and haven't heard anything back since a few days ago. I'm just waiting as of now. ** Update **I was contacted again by Spotify Support (email).     "I'm afraid that currently there isn't much that we can do, but this isn't[sic] being looked into.      I did add another month of Premium onto your account and once that runs out the issue should be fixed." So, I still don't know if Spotify has identified a problem. I will continue to wait and use month to month Premium. ** Update **On May 14, 2015 I was able to subscribe to spotify premium with my credit card.I wasn't notified by Spotify support that I should try again.  It was the same card and account, but a new credit card number. My long nightmare of ad supported listening is finally coming to a close.  I hope everyone who has run into this issue will try again and report here if there is still an issue.

I'm having the same problem with the payment, is there any email to contact the spotify team, it's no my bank nor my credit cards having problemsrmustard wrote:

  • Why do we need a valid credit card in order to publish books?

I'm 15, and I don't have a credit card, yet I want to publish a book for free (of course) onto iBooks from iBooks Author and so I tried to create a free account, and it says I can't do it because I don't have a valid credit card. There's no way my parents would put a credit card onto my account permanently, because they're afraid of their data getting stolen... Since I'm just going to publish books for free, I just don't see why I need a credit card.

Apple have a set of requirements and in your situation... you cannot meet their banking and credit card requirements.   At 15 you  should be aware that where  money is concerned those who have it and want more... protect the methods of control!
The next thing you need to  deal with is that,  basically   the  CC requirement as nothing whatever to do with a free iBooks account.
The credit card is more about making  purchases from the various Apple online  stores such as iBooks,  iTunes (download music) apps and in app purchases and local high street stores for devices and accessories.
Apple  do not  have any options which do not include  banking details and credit cards and care little about the problems of youth and lack of credit cards.   Its a case of our club - our rules.. comply or go away!
So lets look at other options, you can distribute any eBooks  created using iBA software, however you wish - providing no payments in cash or kind are recieved. You can of course take a chance  and replace Samsung as Apples litigation target!
The easy way is upload an iBooks file  into Dropbox and  email links to  fans, friends and family.
    OR
Your parents could open an account and allow you to act as publisher for them! Ditto a friend with a CC.
But if your own parents would not trust you with their credit cards the above will not be  suitable.
If its a book which is school or peer reralated, maybe your school have a server  and would allow you to use it to allow other students to  download your books.... extend that thought to  approaching other schools locally or statewide....

  • ITunes keep rejecting my credit card. What do I do?

I have re-entered my credit card info about 30x and it keeps saying my card isn't valid, but it works everywhere else.
    HELP PLEASE!

No, it's probably due to your trying to enter in a new debit card. Debit cards are no longer accepted in the iTunes Store, it seems. The current valid payment methods are listed here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5552
You can try contacting the iTunes Store and asking if there is any way to use your card, but they probably will tell you that it's not possible.
    http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html
Using a debit card in any online service where it stores your card is a bad idea in any case since if someone gains access to your account in the service, they can quickly drain your bank account. Credit cards limit your liability, as do prepaid iTunes cards.
    Regards.

  • Making a Payment via Credit Card

So I don't use paypal a lot and I only had to recently when it came to purchasing certain things for my study abroad trip. So I need to make a payment to PayPal and tie off my credit balance. In the past I remember simply paying the amount with my attached credit card, but for some reason when I go to payment, it is not listed as a payment option. How can I pay with my credit card because I DO NOT want to attach my bank account information and also CAN NOT because I don't have the required informatio with me while I'm abroad. Thank you

This is how PayPal uses ones funding sources, don't know if that's helps you figure things out or not: PayPal will first look at your PayPal Account balance, if you have insufficient funds, PayPal will then take the funds from your Bank Account. PayPal will do an instant transfer from your bank account assuming you have a current linked and confirmed credit card. If the card is not current or no card, then the transfer from your bank account to pay for the purchase can take a few days, possibly up to 4. If you have a credit card and no bank account, then the credit card will be used. This all happens assuming you don't elect to choose a funding source. Note, If you have both a bank account and credit card, you can choose to pay with your credit card on the PayPal Checkout screens by using the pay with another source option. There you can select your card from the dropdown. It is possible to pay using the funds in your Account balance and the remainder with a credit card however, you must first elect to pay with your credit card. Your available balance will be used up and the remainder is charged to your card. As this now looks like you've sent a single payment, you remain eligible for Buyer Protection. You would not be eligible for Buyer Protection, if you paid for the item with two separate transactions. What you cannot do is split a single payment between 2 bank accounts, 2 credit/debit card accounts or a bank account and a credit/debit card account. In addition, you cannot split a single payment between 2 PayPal accounts.
