  • BAPI for Business Object BUS2013 - PurchSchedAgrmt

I am trying to develope a LSMW that will create Purchasing Schedule Agreements from legacy system data.  I've searched the Business Object Attributes in LSMW and I don't see BUS2013 as an option... is this because there is no corrisponding IDoc Interface for this BO?  Is it possible to create a data transfer BABI that will work with this BO if one doesn't exist?
It seems like BAPI_AGREEMENT_MAINTAIN will create a schedule agreement, is this not a data transfer BABI?

I am using version 4.7, with Web AS 6.2...
I did look into doing a recording but this is a huge pain, because i need to create purchasing schedule agreements with multiple line items.  The only option then is to create two recording... one recording to create the agreement with the first line item and then do a second recording which adds each additional line item.
I'll give you some points for your help... i'm going to leave the thread open though in hopes that someone else may have an "out of the box" solution that they have used.

  • LSMW for Object 140 (Class) - Using Batch

    Hi All,
I am trying to use LSMW to change status for an already defined class. I am using object 0140 (program RCCLBI01), but when doing the data transfer, it keeps trying to do it as a create class (tcode CL01).
In the source relations for structure BIKLA, I see the tcode field. I changed this default to CL02, however I get an error - that transaction CL02 is not supported by this program.
Pls advise if you have worked on such a scenario before.
It appears to me that the next option is try BAPI/ ALE. Let me know if anyone has tried this earlier, as I am going to give it my first shot now.
    Thanks!!
    Liz

Hi, You can create a small recording as a second step to change the status of a class.
    Hope this helps.

  • Regarding BAPI for Creat Class Hierarchy

    Hi ,
Urgently i need a BAPI for to create Class_Hierarchy and also need what are the parameters to pass for that BAPI .
Please any body help out this is urgent.
    thanks in advance,
    krishna.

    Hi,
    The relavant BAPI is BAPI_OBJCL_CREATE.
You can read the characteristics by using BAPI: BAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAIL
Plz check other BAPIs in FuGr: CLBPA which might help you. You can find FM Documentation for most of the BAPIs in this FuGr.
If this is a one time load, I suggest you to take up this task by LSMW:
    Object               0130   Classification
    Method               0001   Batch input
    Program name         RCCLBI02
    Program type         B   Batch input
    Hope this helps.

  • Translate Object class (for authorization objects)

I wonder where I can translate the objects class (SU21 - auth objects). I manages to find where I can translate the authorization objects in SE63.
What what is the object type for the objects class in order to translate it.

SAP itself told me there is no way to do so. They recommend to directly edit the corresponding text table.

  • Class type not defined for this object type

    Hi Friends,
Could u please guide me ?..We have a requirement to extract some data from classification system.
This is related with class type 023 - Batch
I want to use the following parameters in CTBW.
    basis datasource :Z_BATCH_ATTR
    class type : 023
    object table :MCHA
    Datasource type : ATTR
I am getting an error "Class type not defined for this object type" when i enter the above entries in CTBW.
The only way I'm being able to make this work is changing object table from MCHA to MCH1.
This solution does not fit me bacause MCH1 table dont have Plant as Key, and I need it.
Do you know what should I do to solve this?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
I believe we have to use the list of standard "Basis DataSource", as I'm also stuck with the same issue. Let me know what Basis Data source you selected in this case.
As I'm trying to extract Batch attributes from "AUSP" Table.
    I have given class type= 023
    Obj Table= AUSP
But not sure which "basis datasource" I need to select.
    Thanks,

Since  routing is already created my work is to assign component allocation to the operation.
    i tried with the BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE  and /SAPMP/BAPI_ROUTING_PROCESS
BAPI_ROUTING_CREATE can be used only to create new routing.
But the /SAPMP/BAPI_ROUTING_PROCESS is going to short dump.
    So any alternate please suggest.
Please provide sample code to assign component allocation.

    2. Can any body find me a BAPI or FM which can creates inspection lot in QALS table without inspection lot origin under 01 i.e. 0101 or Z01SI01.
My objective is to creation inspection lot without assigning Inspection type of Z01SI01 or Z01SI02 and so on in the material code under a respective Plant 1004 or 1005 0r 1006 so on.
In my Z Development for creation of inspection lot BDC is run for QA01 as this code created inspection lot on when material code has inspection type Z01SI01 i.e. location of source inspection and vendr code particular classification under 010 vendor class inspection type Z01SI01. System search both the inspection type for both material and vendor then create inspection lot in QALS table by assiging inspection matching inspection on the lot.
I want to get rid of assignment of inspection on the materilal. If any BAPI or FM is avalable for creation of inspection without assigning inspection type on material code. I want to create inspection lot in which Inpsection type assignment can be done based on vendor class only.

  • Bapi for GLPCA

Is there a BAPI that will pull data from GLPCA? If so, could someone provide me with the name?
    Thanks!
    -- Jackie

    Hello all,
It is possible that you have syntax error for development objects that are assigned to a package (Dev class) that is 'switchable' and that its switch is off.
In general, these development objects are meant to be used when specific 'business functions' are switched on.
Switching on a business function has to be analyzed and tested carefully because most of them CANNOT be switched off. Even Reversible business functions cannot be switched off when they are activated in a productive system. This is forbidden.
In this specific example, program SAPLBOS04 belongs to package AD_BOS_01. This package contains switchable objects related to switch ECO_BOS. This switch can be switched on via more than one 'industry-specific' business functions all belonging to DIMP.
Switching on DIMP has to be analyzed thoroughly because some business functions are getting automatically switched on (Bfunc DIMP_SDUD) and cannot be reverted.
Each business function activates different functionality. Documentation can be found in IMG -> Activate Business Functions (TA SFW5). There you have a Documentation column with a link to the Help Portal.
Using TA SFW_BROWSER you can see the different objects related to business functions displayed in a tree.
Before switching on business functions you have to take precautions. See http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/de/899442047b0831e10000000a1550b0/content.htm

  • BAPI for Transaction VA01?

How to Develope an interface program to upload the sales order data from legacy system to SAP using BAPI for Transaction VA01.Explain me clearly?

    VA01:
    BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1
    BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
    steps for bapi creation
STEP 1 - Define a structures for the BAPI
In this step a structures for the parameters and tables of the function module used for the BAPI are defined.
    Use Data type -> Structure
    Define the following structures:
ZBAPI_ORDER_STATUS_IMPORT which contains the following fields:
    ORDERID Order number (Keyfield)
    SPRAS Language
ExcludeInactive - Checkbox - Exclude inactive status
    ZBAPISTAT:
STEP 2 - Write Function Module
    Important notes:
Each BAPI must have its own function group.
Under the attributes tab remember to select Processing Type Remote Enabled module, otherwise the function module cannot be invoked via RFC and used as a BAPI
Import/Export parameters can only be BY VALUE for an RFC enabled function module
We are only creating one BAPI in this example, but you can create related BAPIs in the same function pool, so they will be able to share global data.
    Code
    Notes:
The subroutine SET_RETURN_MESSAGE is a standard routine used for BAPIs that use the BAPIRETURN structure
In form Z_BAPI_GET_ORDER_SYSTEM_STATUS there is a test IF 1 = 2. If the test is true a message is displayed. The condition will obviously never be true, and we will never want to display a message in a BAPI. The reason why it is included is, that it create a reference for the message, so that the WHERE USED functionality can be used for the message. This is the SAP standard way to handle it, copied from the Company Code GetList BAPI.

    Important note:
You will have to define a structure for every parameter in the BAPI. You cannot use the same structures used in existing applications because BAPI structures are frozen when BAPIs are released and then there are restrictions on changing them.
STEP 3 - Create the API Method Using the BAPI WIZARD
The BAPI wizard is used toTo expose the remote function module as a BAPI. The wizard will generate some additional code, so the function module is a valid method of the BOR. This allows the BAPi to be called as a workflow method in addition to be called by an outside program.
Note: Each function module corresponds to a method in the BOR
Go to the Business Object Builder SWO1.
You can either create the new Object type as a subtype of an existing business object or create a new business object from scratch. In this example it would be obvious to create the Object type as a subtype of BUS2005 Production order. However, to illustrate how to create a new Object type from scratch, we will do this.
In the Object/Interface type field write the name of the new Business Object: ZORDERSTAT. Press enter and fill in the additional fields necessary to create the object type.
Supertype: Not relevant because we are creating our object from scratch
Program. This is the name of the program where the wizard generates code for the Object type, NOT the function module we created earlier. The program name must not be the name of an existing program.
Press enter and create the new business object. Note that when you create the business object a standard interface, an attribute ObjectType and the methods ExistenceCheck and Display are automatically generated. These cannot be changed !
The next step is to add the Z_BAPI_GET_ORDER_STATUS method to the business object. Select Utilities -> API methods -> Add method and write the name of the function module in the dialog box. Next the dialog ox show below will be shown. This is the start screen of the BAPI wizard. Proceed with wizard by pressing the button.
After you have finished the wizard, you will notice that the ZGetOrderStatus has been added to the business object:
You can double-click on the method to see its properties. To use the business object you must change the Object type status to Implemented. Use menu Edit->Change releases status->Object type->To implemented. No you can test the object (Press F8).
Note that the BAPI wizard has added a wrapper class for the function module so it can be sued as method in the business object. Choose menu Goto->Program to display the program:
