BAPI or FM to get Material Price

Is there a readily available BAPI or Function Module that can get me a meterial's price based on it's pricing procedure?

You may already know this, but a material does not have a pricing procedure.  Pricing procedure is determined by a customer pricing procedure indicator, document pricing procedure indicator, and org data.  You can extract condition record values but you won't be able to determine the correct 'price' without all of the other factors involved.  You should simulate an order (BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE or one of the other available functions) to get the correct price for a given scenario, since a particular pricing condition for a material may have multiple available accesses and condition records available.

       I am developing one application on netveawer using JCO.my requirement is to display custmer,material and their prices to create quotation order for this i can get custmers from BAPI_CUSTEMER_GETLIST and i can get materials from BAPI_MATERIAL_GETLIST.but while creating a quotation we should know the material price depending on custmer and quantity so i have to get the material pricelist from r/3.please tell me BAPI name which will give material price.i have asked this question so many times but i did not get proper guidelines. plz help me to do this.

    Hello,
    I am trying to use BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE. It functions very well in
    general and suffice most of my needs. The only issue with it is that
    there is no place to input material price group i.e VBAP-KONDM.
    Logically it should have been in ORDER_ITEMS_IN. Since some of my
    pricing is driven by KONDM (materail price group), I am not able to use
    this BAPI. Please let me know if you made any headway on this front.

    We need to pass value to the Importing parameters VBCOM
    To get the open sales order

                 2. Create Purchase order reference Purchase  requisition
                                There is a setting  from the unit price of P/R onto the unit price of P/O.

  • Getting a material Price change in a certain period

    Hi everyone,
    I would like to seek your help regarding a problem I have in MM module. I am not an MM person but I need something that came from MM module.
    What I need is the price change of a material in a certain period. Is there any FM that I can use to do this? I need it to compute the ratio how a component material affects the price change of the header BOM material. So if we check the FI document posted for the header BOM material price change, explodes it and check if the components of that material had also undergone a price change in that period.  So how will I check the price change done on that component material?

  • How to include Freight charges and unloading charges in Material price.

    Hi All,
    Can you pls. advice how we can include freight charges & unloading charges in Material price (MAP) when receive in system.
    Current Situation :
    We buy Switchgears from vendor, which transported with special vehicle arrangement from different service provider and gets unloaded at warehouse by another service provider. Currently business create seperate PO for Material vendor, Freight Vendor and for unloading service provider. But MAP is only updated with Material cost only. How can I include delivery cost and unloading cost in MAP thro standard SAP process.

    Hi,
    Create three condition types namely basic material price, freight charges & unloading charges.
    For  basic material price , you can copy PB00 and rename your basic material price condition type.Now freight charges & unloading charges condition type in M/06 , do not maintain condition category ( keep it blank ), so that it will added to inventory cost .For freight charges & unloading charges do not maintain account key & accrual key in Pricing procedure.
    Cretae PO , now you will see all cost added to NET price in PO and you can for doing GR where all cost are inventoried as materisl cost.

  • To change/overwrite material price in sales order - while processing

    The scenario is - when the user creates a sales order in system 1, there has to be an RFC called to another SAP system to get the price of the materials in that system. Then it has to overwrite that price in this S.O in system 1.
    Which user exit in S.O processing can be used for this ? (Lets say to get price we use some BAPI to the other system). But how the price can be overwritten on this S.O in system 1 ? Any help ?

    you do a RFC while entering your order to get the price.
    If you store the price in vk12 in System 1 and do new-pricing, in our system, that woult take too long. The pricing conditions need several secondes ( i wait up to 10 seconds ) from vk12 up to the time, you can use it in va01. ( due to the synchronisation between several application-servers ).
    I would try to do it in MV45afZB in the form new-pricing. Insert a manual condition in xkonv ( check in ther is an xkonv-updkz ) and select new-pricing = 'C'.  ( at this time i have no access on you system - i don't know, if xkonv is avalible - if not my next choice would be mv45afzz / userexit vbap ).

  • Value from condition types not to be added to material price

    Hi friends,
    I have a Pricing procedure for Cross company stock transfers.
    Supplying plant put some margin on the material price and will supply it.
    Now My question is how to avoid the value of the margin getting inventorized(adding to the material price) in the receiving plant
    As iam using Std price for this FERT material in the receiving plant , it is trying to inventorize.
    I have assigned an Account key and accrual key , for this margin condition type in my pricing procedure.

    In Transaction code, M/08.....for your Pricing procedure and for that particular condition type ....Check Statistical Indicator..
    In Transaction code: M/06.....For your particular condition type and go into detail....In control Data:2 tab, check Accurals also..

    Have you studied ME80FN?In the output there is a Change layout tab also to check further
    Otherwise from table EKKO for a particular Vendor (LIFNR) select the PO numbers (EBELN)...Further against each of the EBELN run EKKO where you can get all the data related to your material,price etc...
    For checking of service you have to select PACKNO from EKPO...then in ESLL against each PACKNO select the PACKAGE...now again run ESLL where PACKNO = PACKAGE

  • Material price to be defaulted in shopping carts from Contracts in ECC

    We are having a scenario wherein we need to get the price in shopping cart from contracts in ECC.In our case for a material only one contract exists for a given time frame in the ECC.We are working on classic scenario in SRM 5.5 as an add on to ECC.Any help to get this working will be highly appreciated.

    Hi Pawan,
    As long as you dont have the Configuration Step "Sourcing Via Vendor List activated", all contracts that you have created for a material will automatically show up in the source of supply as the proposed SOS. This and Info records are displayed on the SOS tab on the SRM Shopping cart via an RFC call that Standard SRM Does.
    Pls try out a scenario:
    1.) Create a contract for a material in ECC
    2.) Replicate the material in SRM
    3.) Create a Shopping cart in SRM with that material
    4.) you will automatically see the contract beoing displayed on the SOS.
    Following are the pricing priority in SRM.
    <b><b>Price Determination in EBP</b>
    Priorities
    1.) Manual price (only if field is open for input)
    2.) Contract
    3.) Catalog
    4.) Price from product linkage or from product
    So as long as you dont have a manual price for the Shopping cart, the price will be adopted from the contract. i would suggest for materials with contracts, update the s/c price with the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI at the time of submission with an RFC call to ECC to obtain the right proce from the contract.

    Hi Gurus,
    currently i am working in Product costing. my requirement is to calculate Freight and Acquisition overheads on Material Price.i have maintaind rates for condition types ZFRA , ZA2H and ZAOH  by using MEK1 transaction code. eventhough system is not calculating this overheads while running CK11n. system showing only material price no other oveheads.
    my intension is to estimate the cost for Purchased parts not for Manufacturted parts. for that i have given the priority in the Valuation Variant is Price from purchase record.
    can anybody resolve my problem?

    Thanks for your reply.According to my clients requirement i need to do material cost estimates for purchased materials thru ck11n.for this i have given priority as price from purchase info record in the Valuation Variant. my mm  friends maintaind price in the purchase info record ME11.
    In additions to this i also maintained rates for Freight,Acquisition and Customs condition types in MKE1.
    Now if i run CK11n, system showing only Material Price which is in the Purchase inforecord but system not calculating any required overheads.
    I need to calculate Overheads thru Condition types not thru Costing sheet.
    If you see Price Simulation system calculating the Overheads accordingly.but same is not getting populating while running the CK11n.
    In Valuation Variant under the Deivery Costs tab I have assign all required Condition types to Valuation Variants and Controlling area accordingly.
    I hope that i explained my current problem clearly.can anybody give me the solution

  • Error 06206: Effective price lower than material price (variance 30.00 %)

    Hello Experts,
    I've maintained the tolerance limit as 30% for my company code and tolerance key 'PE'.
    Even though I try to create a Purchase Order with the same effective price as the material price (no variance), still it gives me the following error:
    "Effective price lower than material price (variance > 30.00 %) Message no. 06206"
    However, I get this error only for Import vendors and not for Domestic vendors.
    I'm using same currency (INR) in Purchase Order for Import vendor as for Domestic vendor.
    I've debugged the code to find where exactly and why it throws that error but have been unsuccessful. When I reach METHOD pbo_finished, deep structure my_pushed_message already has the error message ID 06 and number 206 stored in it.

    since you are getting effective price lower than material price, your PO appears to be at a lower value. This may be since the total is not carried to the appropriate field. pl check whether Subtotal column is having S entry
    if its an error, in attributes of system messages change to warning
