Basic emailer  from SDK cs5

High,
I have made work the BasicEmailer script on Bridge CS5 but:
I had to modify the script to get a prompt at startup in a way to input a new recipient email address each time:
this.recipient =  prompt("Destinataire", 100);
How can I do this while right cliking a thumbnail to run the script .
Thanks
JP

The Extended version does seem to be about 3D

But I had a feeling there was also something to do with image stacks and Median.
I have found this link for CS4.  Ah yes, here you go

    I got this really basic email from the "iCloud Security Team" asking me to update my account to protect against third-party access.  The link (when I mouseover it) shows no Apple in it.  I can't find a way to forward this to Apple so they can investigate who is trying to use them for information extraction.

  • Send email from OWB with authenticated SMTP server (AUTH_LOGIN)

    Hi all,
    I want to send email from Oracle Warehouse Builder 11.2.0.2 using a SMTP server with basic authentication (AUTH_LOGIN).
    I've created an ACL for OWBSYS user according to note ID 1229769.1 in support.oracle.com.
    But, I need to configure again the ACL to connect to the SMTP server using user and password.
    I read the article in metalink, *How to Send an Email Using SMTP over an SSL Connection [ID 1323140.1]*+
    but I don't know how can I configure again the ACL for use in OWB.
    How OWB is able to authenticate with the SMTP server?
    Thanks!

  • Cannot send emails from mail account.

    Hello everyone,
    I've had this problem a while, that basically when i send an email from my account it says
    Cannot send message using the server xxxxxxxx
    when i try other servers it still doesn't work and i get the same error message. I have other computers on which mail works from the same server, same port same password etc. so why doesn't this work.
    If you can help me i will be eternally greatful as i won't have to keep jumping on someone elses computer to reply to mail.
    Thank you in advance
    Fred

    Hello Fred.
    If you’re sure your settings are exactly the same as on the computers where it works, here a couple of things that you may want to look at.
    Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Network, choose Network Port Configurations from the Show popup menu, and make sure that the configuration used to connect to Internet appears at the top of the list.
    Also, try using a different method to connect to Internet, if possible, or connecting the computer to Internet as directly as possible, i.e. bypassing any routers that might be present, using an ethernet cable instead of wireless, etc., and see whether that makes a difference.
    Mail keeps information about outgoing servers in a separate list, independently of any specific mail account. The account settings just associate one of the available outgoing servers with each account. Orphaned or dangling outgoing server entries (i.e. not associated with any account) sometimes cause weird sending problems.
    Go to Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), choose Edit Server List from the popup menu, and delete any servers that shouldn’t be there. The Edit Server List panel shows the account each outgoing server is associated with.

  • Send email from SAP to external

    hi experts,
    My code triggers Email from my SAP program to external Email ID.This functionality is working fine.
    Below is a snippet of my code:
      TRY.
    Sender config
          obj_send_request = cl_bcs=>create_persistent( ).
          obj_sender = cl_sapuser_bcs=>create( sy-uname ).
          obj_send_request->set_sender( i_sender = obj_sender ).
    *Receiver config
                 obj_recipient =
            cl_cam_address_bcs=>create_internet_address( 'ABC^GMAIL dot COM' ).
            obj_send_request->add_recipient(
           i_recipient = obj_recipient
              i_copy = c_x " CC indicator
    ENDTRY.
    There are two issues I am facing now (basically required by client):
    1: Need to have a string instead of "SY-UNAME" in the Sender address i.e. email should show 'ABC Corporation'
    (I think this is not possible as System expects a valid Email ID.. Can anyone confirm this assumption???)
    2: The receiver is getting the READ RECEIPT after reading the email. This has to be removed.
    Any help  would be highly appreciated.

    Hi,
    CL_RECIPIENTS =
                    CL_CAM_ADDRESS_BCS=>CREATE_INTERNET_ADDRESS( WA_ADD_RECIPIENTS-SMTPADR ).
        *-      Add recipient with its respective attributes to send request
            IF CL_RECIPIENTS IS NOT INITIAL.
              CALL METHOD CL_EMAILERBCS->ADD_RECIPIENT
                EXPORTING
                  I_RECIPIENT  = CL_RECIPIENTS
                  I_EXPRESS    = WA_ADD_RECIPIENTS-B_EXPRESS
                  I_COPY       = WA_ADD_RECIPIENTS-B_COPY
                  I_BLIND_COPY = WA_ADD_RECIPIENTS-B_BLIND_COPY
                  I_NO_FORWARD = WA_ADD_RECIPIENTS-B_NO_FORWARD.
            ENDIF.
    This is the way how do I add recipients. Your user requirement is how do I will know the mail has sent or not to recipient rite ??

  • Code snippet to send email from an iPhone App

    Hi,
    I have tried to look under the SDK documentation but have not found any pointer. I know how to use Mail.app to send email on a desktop app but how do I do this from iPhone.
    Thanks!

    Sending email from the iPhone is as simple at setting up the account in Mail on the phone.
    Attachments are a different story. The only attachments that can be sent from the iPhone are photos taken with the camera, safari links, notes and you tube links. Each of these attachments are initiated from their parent program (photos, safari, notes, youtube, etc) rather than Mail itself.
    What attachment are you trying to send?

I used to be able to select whether or not to delete mail from the Hotmail server when I delete the mail from the iPhone, I basically use the iPhone as a preview device, delete them from the phone and deal with the emails from home. Since the update my phone now deletes the mail from the server and I cant find anything in the settings to change this......................am I correct or not? Help??

    Googling shows you can set it up as either an IMAP or POP3 account

  • Move email from Inbox to Local Folder using Message Filter moves header only, not contents.

    I created a Message Filter to move email from Inbox to a Local Folder based on Date. The email headers were moved, but not the contents. Since I'm using IMAP, all the emails were deleted from the server.
    I searched for similar problems and I followed one suggestion to "repair" one of the target Local Folders, but that made things worse. Now the header information (Subject, From, Date (now set to the date the transfer was done, not the email received date) is all blank.
    The Local Folder properties indicate the email is contained in
    mailbox:///C:/Users/Ted/AppData/Roaming/Thunderbird/Profiles/c65xcqqf.default/Mail/Local Folders/Archives.sbd/2010
    I can see the messages from other Local Folders here, but the ones "moved" are empty.
    Should this location be changed?
    Is there some way to recover the email contents?

  • Reading emails from Faxcom server with javamail 1.4.2

    Our JavaMail-based application reads up to 60,000 emails a day. We recently upgraded to JavaMail 1.4.2 to get more leniency reading poorly formatted messages. So far, it's looking great. We only experienced one issue. Upon upgrading, we stopped being able to receive multiparts sent via Faxcom product. To resolve this, we set the property:
    mail.mime.multipart.ignoreexistingboundaryparameterto "false". If it is set to true, it will not be able to read emails from the Faxcom product that were previously successful using JavaMail 1.4.1. Basically, the API returns zero for the multipart count. If you are setting some of the new leniency parameters, I would recommend keeping this "false" unless it solves some specific problem.
    Just wanted to post this to see if anyone had experienced the same problem, and to share the solution.

    Thanks Bill, I will try setup a simple program to reproduce, or see if I can reproduce with one of the JavaMail sample programs - I also have a FaxCom mailbox setup for testing.
    We are also still having trouble consuming a few messages that have a broken Content Type field:
    08:37:05.996 INFO: (EmailServer.processMultipart-Thread-21) Inside Content Type: text/plain
    name="incoming.txt"
    javax.mail.internet.ParseException: Expected ';', got "NAME"
    at javax.mail.internet.ParameterList.<init>(ParameterList.java:280)
    at javax.mail.internet.ContentType.<init>(ContentType.java:110)
    ...etc..
    I will also look and find out which mail client that came from. Maybe the solution here is trying to ask the sender to fix/upgrade/switch mail clients.
    But other than these 2 occasional problems, 1.4.2 is working great in production and we are getting a lot fewer failures.

  • After designing a form in dw how do you get the form to send an email from submit button?

    i designed a form and it works up to the point of toggleing the submit button then nothing happens i do not receive any emails. please help me what am i doing wrong?

    Sorry, gary. I don't know what you're talking about when you say "I read the secure page in 2010". Feel free to elaborate if you wish but do not expect a response. It's not my interest to explain to you how to do something but I do feel obligated to tell others that what you're telling them is not completely safe. Please understand that I have in fact informed you of the vulnerabilities of your insecure script for as long as we have corresponded, even after the "security" amendment to your page, which is nothing more than a copy of someone else's work of which you unfortunately did not completely understand. No surprise there though given your frequent ignorance of the subject in the messages we have exchanged. I do remember saying something about a year ago to you mentioning your discreet, sweep under the rug mentality of the importance of having a secure script. Unfortunately you have maintained your ignorance and minimal effort on completely understanding (and effectively educating others on) the subject this entire time.
    If someone is asking how to build a submarine and you provide a blueprint of how to build a paper boat with a screen door don't expect someone else to tell you how to build a submarine so you can then go and tell everyone afterwards how YOU would build a submarine. However, you should expect someone to tell the OP that was asking how to build a submarine that your paper boat suggestion will not hold water.
    Did you read this?
    You're testing for the literal characters \r an \n. There are other ways of inserting carriage returns and new lines.
    Yep, that's basically what I told you over a year ago. I know that some have been using your email script to inject mail through the headers for sometime now. No one is sending you emails through your contact form anyway since the spry validation is broken, so injection of your server script is the only way to send emails from your contact page for users who have javascript enabled anyway. Perhaps you will now realize that your suggestions may be hurting others rather than helping them, opposite of what my posts regularly achieve. I look forward to your cognitive posts from now on with eagerness and openness to actually learn the methods that others are continuously trying to educate you on so that you will not continue to misinform others as you have been doing for as long as I can remember, which is longer than a year mind you. If you want to cross your arms across your chest and shrug and grunt that nothing is wrong with your script because you tested it that's fine, but when you start telling others to use it and that it's fine that's when the_shocker says whoa dude... it's not fine. Sorry to blow your ego. Swallow your pride and learn about script vulnerabilities instead of attempting to defend your position by on the forum by saying "you never said anything when you looked at my page a year ago" because dude... that's ignorant and, for the record, I did say something to you time and time again.
    best,
    Shocker
