Batch price

Dear friends
The requirement is
Scenario:
The selling price of the product is based on the MRP that is reverse calculation; we need to handle one issue. When the MRP price of the packet change the selling also changes
Here the issue is, when the system picks up the old stock i.e. with old batch of old MRP that time the system should consider the old rate. For that I am maintaining the price with customer/ Material / batch, above the required condition
The system is not calculating the batch price since in invoice the batch is not getting triggered
The requirement
The old material will be maintained with batch combination
In invoice if the material has picked up two batches and there is price difference then in invoice it should split into two line item, otherwise it should maintain the same line item
If they maintain two different line items then it should be two different line item in the invoice
Regards

Dear
as per my understanding the Batch is decided at the time of delivery only.
for the batches determied in at delivery the Pricing should be at delivery not at the sales order level.
at sales order the Pricing will not be determined it will be determined at the delivery level.
path for setting price at delivery level is.
SPRO -  >logistic execution->basic shipping function -> Pricing.
set up pricing here ur all requirment will be met.
here the manual condition will not be transferred to Billin so please use all the Pricing by Condition records only.

  • During costing batch price is not picking

    Hi,
    Thanks  in advance,
We activated  batch valuation type with FIFO activation for materials procured externally , while running costing system  not picking batch price, it is picking moving  average price ,
    Thanks and Regards,
    prema.d

As a std procedure while creating PO price won't be picked from contract.  Rather you need to create a PO w.r.t the contract. In that case PO will take the same conditions stored in the contract.
Else if you are working with sourcelist, then you need to define the contract as a source of supply.  In this case when you create PO system will pick Contract as source and contract price will appear in PO.

  • Batch wise Price-- Possible ?????

    Dear SAP Gurus,
Is it possible to maintain price for each individual batch in SD or MM??? as for example Plant-material-Vendor-Batch combination.
If not directly possible- any work around??? anybody worked on it?
    Regards,
    Sarang

    Hi Santosh,
Using condition records including batch has many restrictions as given below:
    1. This is only possible if you want to determine batch on Sales Order level.
If so, then you must enable the functionality that Order should not save until correct batch has been identified.
That mean , we will not be able to create Open Orders.
    2. Batch may be altered in Delivery, suppose anyone has changed the batch in delivery , then again the calculation will go wrong.
As per your question, I think you can construct such condition tables since field CHARG is already available in catalog.
alternatively  you can follow the following :
If you have Batch enabled at Order Level:-
You can catch Batch Cost Price in VPRS or Some Other Condition.
(ii) Then, Add another condition say ZBSP(Batch Specific Price) in your pricing procedure. make it statistical.
add a routine which checks for the value in VPRS, adds relevant margin and and Displays Batch Price.
If you have Batch enabled at Delivery Level:-
in order , you can give some average price value,
Then, In Billing , You will come to know the exact Batch Specific Price.
Hope this information adds to your requirement.
    Plz reward if found useful.

    Gaurav Raghav.

  • Different price for different batches

hai, is there any possibility of maintaining differenet prices for different batches.
say for example i put 10 pieces into 1 batch and like that maintain 10 batches.
for each batch i want to maintain different prices.
    is it possible.
    Thanks in advance

The link mentioned talks about production / proportion units which deals with different conversions for different batches. For example in leather industry, basic unit may be piece but sales unit may be sq feet. And each piece has different area so proportion unit may be used.
But as i understand your requirement is just to have different prices for different batches but the units, conversions will remain the same for all batches.
Maintaining a batch specific price is a standard feature of SD pricing; create an access sequence with field batch (CHARG).
However one potential danger with this is when the user changes the batch, price will not be updated automatically (unlike when you update plant). To redetermine price automatically whenever batch is changed, you can use the exit below.
    Include: MV45AFZB
    Form: USEREXIT_NEW_PRICING_VBAP CHANGING NEW_PRICING.
    Code:
    if VBAP-CHARG ne *VBAP-CHARG
    new_pricing = 'C'.
    endif

  • Split Valuation X Automat. Batch, FI entry not correct

    Dear all,
During post the goods receipt ref of PO for split valuated material (Valuation Category = u201CXu201D Automat. (Batch). This material type is FERT but valuation class is different and price indicator is u2018Vu2019 MAP.  In Material type setting for FERT is in Valuation Tab contains, fields Price Control set as u2018Su2019 Standard Price. When post the goods receipt note the accounting entries is like Price Difference A/c Dr To GR/IR Clearing. But standard entry should be like Stock (Equipments) A/c Dr. to GR/IR Clearing.
In system standard FI entry comes in following changes.
    1. When remove the valuation category u201CXu201D Automat. (Batch).
    2. When change the material type properties of valuation tab field Price control u201CVu201D in place of u201CSu201D thru T code OMS2 and in Material Master remain with Valuation category u201CXu201D Automat. (Batch).
Requirement is keep in Material Type properties like Price control u201CSu201D and in Material master we keep valuation category with u201CXu201D Automat. (Batch).  And FI entry should become standard one as Stock A/c  Dr. to GR/IR.

    Hi Santosh,
if you want to activate the batch split (automatic bath ), the material  must be moving average price not standard price.
when you receive the goods againt the purchase order, syytem will ask you to enter batch.
Then it will update the new batch price in the material master, and update the stock postings without any price difference.
If it is fixed batch split ( auto batch split), then you can maintain both the pricing catagories.
    Ex;
if the material is procuring form different  places ie Import  and  local
Here there are two fixed valution types based on the origin
IMPORT  VALUATION TYPE  : FIXED PRICE  "S"
LOCAL VALUATIONTYPE   : MOVING PRICE "V"
In the material master create the accounting view (without valuation type) maintain the price as moving average,
Then extend the accounting view for the valuation type IMPORT,  price as standard price
extend the accounting view for the valuation type  LOCAL , as moving average price.
In case of LOCAL valuation only the price difference will trigger, for IMPORT will  not trigger.
    Thanks

  • Valuated sales order stock - Batch

    Hello,
We have a scenario to move the stock of a valuated sales order from special stock to Unrestricted stock. By doing so, will the valuation of that batch get chnaged ?
We need to have the same valuation of that batch wherever it is moved i.e. whether that batch is moved to unrestricted stock or another sales order stock or any other stock.
    Is it possible ?
    Best Regards,
    Amol

    Hi Amol,
this is unfortunately not possible, when a batch leaves one valuation segment (EBEW or MBEW) and is moved to anew one (new sales order, new material number, change of special stock type) the price is normally determined new and not preserved
for very limited scenarios something was done in the framework of that scenario:
This batch price remains unchanged even if there is a stock transfer from plant to plant or storage location to storage location. If there is a stock transfer between plants with a stock transport order, the system valuates the material in the receiving plant using the purchase order price.
But hat is probably not what you need...
    best regards,
                 Udo

  • Restricting fields in batch classification

    Hi all,
I would like to know if it is possible (and how) to restrict specific fields in the batch classification tab. I am referring to transaction MSC2N. Some users should be able to edit all fields in this tab, whilst others can only edit certain fields.
    Any input is appreciated, thanks,

    Hi,
In MSC2N there is a tab called 'classification'. All users should be able to access this, however, within this tab there are custom fields. Such as batch prices, date etc. Not all users should be able to change the batch price. How can this be handled?
    Thanks,

  • Changing the Sequence of the Access Sequence for Pricing Condition Type

    Hi Friends,
We have an access sequence to determine the pricing. We have 8 key combinations for the same.
    Customer/Plant/Material/Batch
    Sales Org/ Dist Ch/ Cust Region/Plant/Material/ Batch
    Price List Type/Currency/Plant/Material/ batch
    Plant/Material/ Batch
1st 4 is with batch. and 2nd 4 is without batch.  At the time of implementation ie., before 8 years the 1st 4 key combinations were used.  But now based on the business need we are not using the 1st 4 key combination rather we are using the 2nd 4 which is without batch.
My question is that can we change the access sequence so that while the system fetches the price it need not go through the entire ( 91,02,401 ) records.
    If this is possible then
Will there by any impact during viewing of past data?

    Hi,
    There are two options.
1)Change the validity dates for those condition records to earlier date.
2)Usually the sytem checks from top to bottom. If it finds the record in first table then it will return that value and stop searching.
As your not required things are on the top, remove the condition records for them using VK12 T.Code.And maintain the records for what condition tables you are required.

    Krishna.

  • VL02N Devivery User Exit

    Hi,VL02N
I have a scenario where Pricing should be copied from STO PO to Delivery document and by which, the Excise values maintained in the delivery document should be posted upon PGI. In Standard, Excise values maintained in the STO PO is the ones which are getting posted upon PGI.
In order to achieve my requirement, I have tried the below User exit which was very helpful but the Delivery pricing (KOMV) component was not available in the mentioned User exit.
    EXIT_SAPLFMR4_002 (Include ZXFMCU08)
Can anyone please suggest an User exit, which has all the below 4 components?
    T_ACCHD
    T_ACCIT
    T_ACCCR
    KOMV

    Hi Lakshmi,
Thank you for your reply.. Following is the business scenario,
For the Factory to Depot STO PO, we have maintained excise values in the PO, excise value calculation is from Material retail price.
Assuming the Material price is 100 Rs. and Excise value is 10.36 in STO PO.
And during delivery, Material batch can be changed.
    Assume, Batch Prices are.
    Batch 0001 - 100 inr MRP
    Batch 0002 - 110 inr MRP
In delivery, if "0002" batch is chosen, price should be redetermined to 110 and by which STO values will be changed accordingly.
And upon PGI, system should post the excise value which is calculated based upon new Batch price and not on STO excise value.
I have found the user exit to change the value upon posting Accounting document, i.e. I'm able to change the excise value to be posted. But in that exit. KOMV structure is not exist, due to which, excise value from new batch price is not being able to determined.
Please let me know if you have any other alternative solution for this, thank you.
    Regards,
    Muthu.

  • Moving Average Price for Batch Maintenance

    Hi Experts,
I've created material of which stock is maintain in batch (Valuation category = X & Price Control = V).
Due to batch wise stock, system calculates the moving average price for different batches.
Can we calculate moving average price at plant level inspite of maintaining material batch wise?
Is there any other way by defining multiple storage bins for that material so that I can see the stock value differently with single moving average price value?
       Thanks.
                                                   Naimish.

In MM03, you get the overall MAP for all batches of the material at plant level without mentioning valuation type in org. level. When specific valuation type is given, you can see its MAP / std price.
    Hope this clears the doubt.

  • Sales price based on batch charactristics

    Dear all
i have  requirement in an industry that sells a raw milk , the price of the sales item depend on the  Fat value in the batch charactristics ( that comes from quality).
    please advice.

    Hello Ahmed
Use Variant Configuration. Set up milk as configurable material and assign a Config profile with variant class. Use the same batch characteristic in your Variant class (Type 300). You can populate the characteristic manually or use a procedure to copy it from Batch characteristic. Based on the fat value, you can set up material variants and set up prices for them. Or you can have a base price and add additional charge based on fat value ( like an optional feature). Good luck.

  • Batch at Packing Stage with mutiple prices

    SAP : ECC 6.0
    Module : Production and MM
Issue : 1 Batch with multiple MRP.
    Domain : Chemicals
Let me say I am very new to SAP and this forum. I could not find the exact place where to post my query so posting here. Help me where to post the query if this is wrong place.
We are in the process of Moving from a Legacy system to SAP R/-3
    Our Process is as follows.
    1. Batch Transaction : Batch production how we are going to produce for a batch will be declared. Batch No as follows.
    YYMMPR0023  > YY -> Year MM- > MONTH PR> PRODUCT 0023 --> running batch.
so batch transaction we will declare how much quantity we will produce. ex : 2000KL (kilo lt)
2 Stage 2 : Packing while packing as per the market requirements we will pack this material in different packs not continue.
ie. we do not pack whole material one time as per the market requirements the material will consume as per the size of the pack in demand.
Due to this our Pricing strategy is also keep changing. ie packed material will be in 2 or 3 prices at different prices.
when we dispatch the material will be identified with the price as sub field to categorize them.
Current legacy system we are following this.
    Sales
Packing --> Dispatch from plant ---> Dept. --> Dealer ---> Customer
    Return
    Customer --> Dealer --> Dept --> Plant
this process is running. At all the places we are able to identify the stck batch level and even at MRP(price) level also.
Implementor says in the R-3/ SAP standard this feature is not available. It is not possible with standard mechanism
I would like to know what is the mechanism to be followed to address this.?
    Kindly inform us.

    Hi
I'm not sure I understand you...please define your question...
    1)
As I understand here question is:
    - batch number assignment
    - amount of the material that belongs to that batch
In SAP you can use automatic batch number assignment, and you can also define the logic /rule based on which system has to generate it.
When you make confirmation against a production order or goods receipt w/o PrdOrd refernce in REM (repetitive manufacturing), you define the produced quantity --> SAP will allocate the batch number
    2)
As I understand here you have two questions:
    - how to solve pricing based on packaging
    - how to track the material (traceability)
If you use different material numbers for different packaging (different packaging may mean diffenerent SKU), there's no problem. If you want to use the same material number for different packaging, it's very likely you have to go to developemnt - generally, batch is given / determined at the time of delivery creation. But in your case the batch should have information on the packaging and you should define it (batch) in the SO to solve pricing.
When you sell the material (as I understand you sell it to the distributor), the material won't be in your system any more that's why you cannot track the goods from distributor to customer).
Is Depot yours? Does the ownership of the goods change when you give them to the distributor? If not, you can map the process:
Plant --> STO (stock transport order) --> Depot --> Consignment fill-up --> Distributor --> Consignment GI --> Customer
Please give more explanation if my answer is not ok.
    Regards,
    Csaba

  • Same Batch Material to be sold at different selling prices

    Hello,
I have a customer requirement where a material at depot belonging to the same batch should be sold at different sales price.
Eg: on 1st of May, Material XYZ belonging to batch AB052011 of 100 qts was GR into the Depot at Rs 100 / qty. A selling Price PR00 will be maintained at Rs 100 / qty. On 5th of May, sales happen for 50 qts, hence PR00 condition of Rs 100 /Qty will be picked accordingly. Till this point everything is fine.
Price change happens for the material at the plant.
Again on 15th of May another GR for XYZ material of Batch AB052011 of 200 qts was GR'ed into the Depot at Rs 150 / qty now. Accordingly PR00 price was changed to Rs 150 /qty.
On 20th of May the total stock of Material XYZ belonging to Batch AB052011 is 250 qts. On 20th if sale happens for 250 qts, Customer requirement is pick a PR00 of Rs 100 for the 50 qts and PR00 of Rs 150 for the remaining qty.
We dont want to allow price to be changed manually, this should only happen through condition records. Is there any way by which I can create a condition table which allows me to maintain two different prices for the same batch at a given point of time.
    Regards
    Raj

    Hi Rajendra,
    Option1:
Assuming that you are only talking about Batch Number based price (and not Batch characteristics based price) you can maintain price condition record based on Batch where Batch number will be one of the key criteria in your Access Sequence. So you many need to create a new Condition table with Material/Batch Number and insert it into your Pricing condition Access Sequence.
Since you will not know what batch you deliver till the goods been issued, you may need to redetermine the Pricing procedure during the Billing. Based on the batch that is delivered system will redetermine the Price from Condition record maintained on Batch basis.
    Option2:
If you are talking about Batch Characteristics based Price, you have more to do.
Please check these forums links which might help you and also look at the OSS Note: 675409
