Batch Signatures

Hello,
I have a problem that I've been trying to solve, but have hit a roadblock.  I currently generate several automated pdfs (the number can be anywhere between 1 and 100) and I need a way to digitally sign all of them.  The outputted pdfs are all located in the same folder.  I was looking into JavaScript but haven't found any working solutions.
Are there any scripts or plugins that will allow me to do this?
Thanks

Have you reviewed the suggestion in the following post:

  • Batch Sequence (Signatures)

    Hello,
    I'm currently working with batch signatures.  I've found documentation that outlines how to do this with javascript: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/acrobat/pdfs/batch_sequences.pdf.
    However, my results are not quite right.  My script is creating the signature field, but not signing it.  My code (altered from the documentation) is below:
    /* Signature Sign All */
    // Choose handler
    var ppklite = security.getHandler("Adobe.PPKLite");
    // Login -- change as appropriate
    ppklite.login("12345b", "/C/MyProfile.pfx");
    // Add a signature field with zero dimensions (invisible)
    var f = this.addField("Signature", "signature", 0, [0,0,0,0]);
    // Sign it and log out. Change as appropriate
    f.signatureSign(ppklite, { password: "12345b", location: "San Jose, CA", reason: "I am approving this document", contactInfo: "[email protected]", appearance: "fancy"});
    ppklite.logout();
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello again, I just solved my problem.  The attribute "appearance" was causing the problem.  I removed it and it works fine.

  • Multiple Signature Fields - Auto tab to next signature?

    I'm working with documents that have more than one signature field. Is there a script I can use that will tell the document to automatically go to the next signature field and start signing after the first field is signed? I am fairly new to scripts in adobe. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    It's for an agreement for one or two sellers to agree to sell an item. It requires their initials in 10 places and signature in about 4 or 5 . I'm using a Topaz digital signature pad for the signatures to be placed on there as digital signatures. Instead of manually clicking on each signature, i'd like to start a 'batch' signature process, so Seller 1 can sit down and sign and initial as needed and it automatically takes them to each one, and then seller 2 can do the same.
    Yes, I realize that in essence what I'm really looking for are electronic signatures, not digital signatures, but the only method I've seen for this would be a custom stamp, and I don't know of a way to create one on the fly with their signature and place it where it needs to be on the document in a speedy manner. The process described in paragraph 1 seems to me to be the easiest and fastest way to get the sellers signatures onto the PDF. I would probably also script in some pop up dialog boxes for each signature, i.e., "Seller 1 Please Initial". and a submit button so the signed document can be emailed to the main office. However I can figure that out on my own, it's figuring out how to make it automatically pop up the next signature field after finish one that I'm not sure how to get done.

  • Digital Signature automatically inserted for batch processing

    hey guys... hope you can shed some light...
    Is it possible to generate a non-interactive form with a digital signature already in-place?
    We're generating invoices in batch processing and need to have a digital signature in place when we email the PDF to our vendor. The digital signature will always be the same.
    I did see this in the LCD help:
    "You can use Adobe document services to sign a document, validate a
    signature, select the collection of objects to lock, or certify a PDF
    document programmatically. This workflow is ideal when a large number
    of documents require a signature because they can be signed in a batch
    process.
    To sign PDF documents in Adobe document services, configure the web
    service for secure access using the secure sockets layer (SSL). For
    details about this configuration, see the Adobe document services
    Configuration documentation."
    I have a link to the older ADS config document [-Here-|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/30a9630b-4f89-2a10-6fab-e311b3ffd9a6] and am in the process of looking through it.
    However, has anyone done something like this already?

    Otto,
    thanks!
    I hadn't checked out the demo - i didn't even know there was a demo program provided . BTW, it's FP_TEST_07.
    I do believe you're correct that it needs to be an interactive form - that wont be an issue for us.
    There is some documentation floating around that we're trying to piece together - we have our Basis team configuring the ADS for SSL connections.
    From what I've seen, I think we have to store our signature in the ADS and attach it at run time.
    Too many moving parts - I don't like it when I have to get more than 1 group involved to complete a develoment item.
    I'll keep this thread updated as we progress.

  • Batching a signature stamp onto 100 pdf in same location

    I have 100 Word one-page docs that all need the same pdf stamp signature in the same place on the Word/pdf one-page document.
    I know that I can batch the pdf but can I also add a signature too? How?

    CtDave, thanks for the excellent  write up of instructions. I had to look up a few of those commands as I have never actually used them. But it was easy enough to follow. I followed each step precisely and I was in fact able to create a proper sized signature file. Although, I ran into one issue.  The rotation of the signature is 90 degrees relative to how it shoudl be. I have tried rotating the signature in normal and also 90 degrees relative. I have also tried changing the page orientation from portrait to landscape. No matter how I change it, it comes in rotated going vertical. But on the upside, eveything else worked flawlessly. Any chance you have a fix for the rotation issue?
    Thanks again for the help.

  • Possible to batch edit signatures?

    i've had a change in email address, and all of my sixty-some signature files has the old address in it. i would surely like to keep all of them as is, other than changing the email address. is there any way to do this without going through them one at a time (ugh)?
    thanks!

    Hi there Sobeck,
    If you're lucky and your plist is ASCII, open this file in ˇext Edit...
    /Users/Your Username/Library/Mail/Signatures/SignaturesByAccount.plist
    Search & Replace the @old.net part with @new.com part. Then Save it.
    PS. I'd make a backup copy first.

  • Cancelamento de NF-e parado (batch status 05, process status 02)

    Bom dia pessoal,
    1 - Status = Transfer to Process Engine (, Ack. Status = branco
    2 - Status = Processed Successfully, Ack. Status = Still awaiting acknowledgment (bola verde com interrogação)
    Ao tentar dar restart nas mensagens, recebo a seguinte mensagem de erro:
    You cannot restart XML message E07AFA5FD584CEF1B15C3C4A927627EC with this status/type
    Message no. XMS_ADM085
    Diagnosis
    You want to reschedule an XML message that has already been processed (Restart). However, the XML message status or type does not permit a restart.
    System Response
    You can only restart asynchronous XML messages.
    Furthermore, you can only reschedule XML messages with errors. You cannot restart correctly processed XML messages or XML messages with the status Being Processed.
    Tem algo que possa ser feito sem ter que alterar tabelas?
    Como a equipe responsável pelo PI/GRC fica fora do BR, é bem complicado conseguir autorização para qquer coisa nesse sentido em PRD.
    ps.: Agora cliquei no "Expand all messages", para cada um dos MsgIDs, apareceram 2 novas linhas, uma com status = Scheduled (bandeira verde) e outra com status Scheduled for Outbound Processing (seta preta), ambos com o awaiting ack.
    => SMQ1 e SMQ2 ambas sem entradas.
    Obrigado!
    Eduardo Hartmann

    Eduardo,
    O NFe type = 2 (cancelamento)?
    Se sim, me parece que o pedido de cancelamento foi enviado pra assinatura e nao teve resposta, provavelmente devido ao fato de o J2EE estar fora. Nesse caso, o batch status é irrelevante (ele só é relevante pro processo de envio de NFe, não pra cancelamento/inutilização).
    O "correto" seria vc identificar onde a mensagem de assinatura parou (i.e. se em alguma fila - SMQ1/SMQ2, se tem q restartar o BPM etc.). Mas como o passo de assinatura é stateless, diferentemente do processamento da SEFAZ, vc poderia simplesmente "marretar" um status de erro de assinatura de cancelamento na /xnfe/nfe_hist (verifique o valor apropriado do error status no domínio do campo) e restartar a assinatura do cancelamento pelo monitor de NFe do GRC, aba de erro de assinatura.
    Abs,
    Henrique.

  • AP Payment approvals with Digital Signature

    Hi,
    Below is the requirement for workflow in AP. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
    In the current Accounts Payable setup,SAP Check Print Form has CEOu2019s signature.
    Checks get printed with CEO signature in one batch sorted by lowest to highest check amount. The accounting clerk pulls out all checks worth more than $50,000 and requests AP head to verify and stamp her signature on each of those checks.
    The client wants a workflow in place which requires the checks which are greater than 50k to be routed to the inbox of AP Head for approval. Once AP head approves them, AP clerk should be able to print all checks together and checks above $50,000 should print with two signatures (CEO and AP Head). But the rest of the checks will be printed only with CEO's signature.
    Note: There is no requirement to have communication with the bank.
    Thank you

    Hi,
    This is not a standard WF.
    Please search in the forums here for getting guidance. FSCM forum is certainly not the place to find answers.

  • Error while trying to do a batch sequence for signing lots of pdf

    Hello,
    I am trying to sign documents in javascript in the batch workflow of Acrobat.
    So my javascript sequence is the following:
    /* Signature Sign All */
    // Choose handler
    var ppklite = security.getHandler("Adobe.PPKLite");
    // Login -- change as appropriate
    ppklite.login("123abc", "/Pata.p12");
    // Add a signature field with zero dimensions (invisible)
    var f = this.addField("Signature", "signature", 0, [0,0,0,0]);
    // Sign it and log out. Change as appropriate
    f.signatureSign(ppklite,
    { password: "123abc",
    location: "San Jose, CA",
    reason: "I am approving this document",
    contactInfo: "[email protected]",
    appearance: "Testing"});
    ppklite.logout();
    and the error I get for each PDF is the following:
    GeneralError: Operation failed.
    Field.signatureSign:14:Batch undefined:Exec
    [ Creation of this signature could not be completed. ] -> [ The specified appearance does not exist. ]
    What is wrong? I have googled a lot, and found nearly nothing worse correcting my problem...
    BTW I am using Acrobat 8.1.7 Pro on Mac OsX 10.6.2
    Thank you in advance for your help
    Alessandro

    Hi VIjaya,
    The problem seems to be of the JDI setup. I think you should post this in
    Expert Forums >> Application server >> Java Development Infrastructure (JDI)

  • Can no longer use Automate (Batch) (AMD Radeon)

    I've spent hours trying to troubleshoot this problem. I have a new computer that I purchased about four months ago. When I first installed Photoshop and tried Automate to put watermarks on my photos, everything worked fine. I gave that a break for a few months and today was trying to watermark some new photos. Since then there has been a driver update for my AMD Radeon HD 7900 to the Catalyst 12.8 drivers. I have the latest Photoshop downloaded from the website.
    Now when I try to use Automate and Batch, it starts then crashes abruptly. I've exhausted all efforts and have Googled for hours. I've tried uninstalling drivers to the 12.6 version of Catalyst, uninstalled Photoshop, reinstalled. Same problem. Under Performance, the Sniffer detects an error in the display driver. Some have suggested using software to sweep for old driver files. That's the only thing I haven't tried.
    I know people had the same issue as this, but had to do with TWAIN but I don't have a scanner installed.

    I don't normall result to asking on forums and prefer to figure out problems myself. I'm way backlogged on getting my photos edited and I need to get them watermarked and uploaded as quickly as possible. Any help would be appreciated.

    Only thing I can think of at this point is a full Windows reinstallation.  Not actually having the exact same board you have I can't really say for certain that Photoshop CAN work with a 7970.
    There is also the possibility that your 7970 is somehow faulty, though you wouldn't think it would work to do the other things you do if that were the case.
    All I can say is that I've been doing 3D work all day and the 7850 does work with Photoshop - though to be honest I've had a couple of crashes today when trying to set the color of the 3D Materials.  Thankfully Photoshop auto-saved my behind, and when it came back up the same operation to set the material color worked.

  • Itunes 10.7 wont startup or run on windows 7 64 bit,, while downloading it from previous version of itunes say invalid signatures.

    whenever i used to download something from itunes it restarts in mid,, and starts again and does the some for a long time and atlast says error 8008. Then i tried to upgrade it new itunes would download for some time then gives error saying invalid signatures,, I then downloaded itunes 10.7 from apple website.. download completes and it wont run.. wont start up.. I have tried Run as administrator used new user accounts, downloaded it again and again deleted temp folder aswell, deleted itunes library from my music folder aswell, done everything i found in discussions but that wont help,

    Apologies about the delay. I've been brooding.
    Although we don't know where the specific relevant keys are on modern versions of iTunes, there's a shotgun approach we can take to dealing with them, which has a reasonable chance of success in this case. The complicating factor in your case is that you've got a 64-bit Windows. So there's an extra hoop to jump through.
    The basic approach is the procedure from the following weblog entry:
    [Solving setup errors by using the SubInACL tool to repair file and registry permissions|http://blogs.msdn.com/astebner/archive/2006/09/04/solving-setup-err ors-by-using-the-subinacl-tool-to-repair-file-and-registry-permissions.aspx]
    The complicating factor is that we have to make an additional edit to the reset.cmd file.
    When you're in Notepad, replacing the two YOURUSERNAME values with the name of your Windows 7 user account, in the first line of the batch file, replace the:
    %programfiles%
    ... with:
    %ProgramFiles(x86)%
    (On a 64-bit Windows system, subinacl is installed in a different location than on 32-bit systems. So unless we make that change, the reset.cmd isn't going to be able to find subinacl and the reset.cmd won't work.)
    While you're in Notepad editing the file, make sure each of the nine lines of the file start of a new line. (Sometimes they get smooshed up together on a single line, and then again the reset.cmd won't work.)
    I'd strongly suggest setting up a System Restore point immediately prior to running the reset.cmd. There's instructions on that in the following document:
    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial143.html#manual

  • How can I send out pending agreements for signature en masse on a scheduled basis?

    I'm using EchoSign's Salesforce integration, and I'm trying to create a scheduled batch that will send out a large number of agreements for signature.  EchoSign has some exposed global methods that I'd hoped will help facilitate this, namely AgreementTemplateService.load, which generates an agreement based on an agreement template ID, and EchoSignAPIService.sendDocument, which sends out an agreement that it is provided.  Also, using the background action field on Agreement, it is possible to update an Agreement to 'Send', triggering its send-out.
    I can do all this through code anonymously, or via a custom page at the click of a button, but to do it without user interaction is proving difficult.  Regardless of whether I try to do it via trigger or scheduled batch, the above-mentioned methods fail out in different ways that essentially amount to the same problem (trying to call a future method from a batch, or a callout from a trigger); I've reproduced the error messages here (these are stamped onto the agreement record and displayed when the record is viewed):
    System.CalloutException: Callout from triggers are currently not supported
    System.AsyncException: Future method cannot be called from a future
    You have uncommitted work pending. Please commit or rollback before calling out
    It seems the above methods are intended for use in a custom page, rather than in some scheduled, non-interactive use-case.  Is there any workaround for this, or support for sending out agreements at a scheduled time, rather than at the click of a button?  Thanks!

    I'm not an Adoby guy, hence you may ignore my reply, but Adobe Dynamic Link is obviously not just one way ticket and in most cases works just fine.
    You have already been explained by J-MS and tclark513 how to properly use it and which pitfalls may occur.
    So as to apply an effect onto a whole sequence or a group of clips you need to either nest them in PrPro or pre-compose them in AE. Then just apply an effect (or several ones) onto that composition.
    So, if you nest clips in PrPro, select your nested sequence in the timeline, right-click and choose 'Replace with After Effects Composition'. Done! Your dynamically linked AE composition is in the right place in your timeline and in your Project panel as well. If you can not treat it as an ordinary footage, there are obviously some mistakes in your workflow.
    If you didn't nest your sequence or a group of clips in PrPro before replacing them with AE composition, you may easily do it within AE. Just select all the layers in AE composition and choose Layer -> Pre-compose... (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+C) Done! Switch back to your Master comp and apply your desired effect(s)
    You may loose some effects or/and transitions while travelling from PrPro to AE via Adobe Dynamic Link, whereas you don't while travelling back
    (If you start building your AE composition from scratch right in AE and then need to import it into PrPro, DO NOT export one as PrPro project out of AE, but rather choose Adobe Dynamic Link -> Import After Effects Composition... within PrPro)
    P.S. And yes, submit a feature-request so that Adobe will convert 'Transparent Video' into fully functional 'Adjustment Layer'.

  • AS2 Batch Error B2B-51083

    Hi
    I am encountering an issue with batching outbound EDI messages which need to be sent via AS2. I am get the error below. We only get this message if we require the message to be signed. If the message only requires encryption the batch process works fine. If I send a message with a signature/encryption without batching that works fine as well. Only when batching with a signature required will I get the error below. Is this a bug or some kind of configuration error. I am using 11.1.1.4. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Anuj,
    I am facing issue with AS2 batching. We are on 11.1.1.5. Single transaction works fine, but multiple transactions is raising this error message.
    Please let us know if any workaround or patch to be applied on the server.

    I want to know how to create a new script that can be run in batch proces in Photoshop Element 11 ?

    Have a look at the menu file/process multiple files. You can choose to add your signature (or the caption) to the image and export the new files.
    If that solution is not flexible enough, consider using the very affordable (12$)  Elements+ add-on which offers a 'meta stamp' script :
    http://elementsplus.net/v5/en/meta-stamp.htm
    Otherwise, have a look at other free and good solutions like Faststone Photoresizer, Xnview...
