Battery won't charge, computer won't turn on
My battery won't charge, even though the power adapter light is on as if charging. I've tried using other power dapaters of the same model, with the same results; no charge. Now the battery is dead and the computer won't turn on. Should I just get a new battery?
I tried resetting the PMU, before the battery totally ran out. Now I'm sure the battery is totally dead, but not sure if it will charge once I get a new battery. Looking at other postings, it sounds like the problem could be with the logic board.

IPod Freezes on Startup; Won't Charge; Computer Won't Recognize
I just got a used iPod in the mail yesterday... When I try to charge it using a USB drive or a wall charger, it appears as if nothing happens. When I have it plugged into my USB drive, my computer doesn't recognize anything...
I've tried using the "reset" feature, and every now and then it gets the Apple logo to come up, but then seems to freeze at that point. A few times it's come up with the "Use iTunes to restore" message after the Apple logo, but then seems to freeze there as well. I'll plug it into my USB drive, but again nothing is recognized by my computer...
I don't even know where to begin. Does anyone have any ideas?I should add that it's a 5th Generation 30GB Video iPod

Computer won't charge - plug won't work!
The portable charger for by iBook (meaning the white box charger) used to be able to plug in anywhere and work even when upside down. Now its hanging out, won't charge, etc unless it is held in all the way the entire time. It does however work when I use the attachement.
Has anyone else had this problem? It's quite annoying to have to push in the plug for the entirety of class with my knee.
Ibook G4Do you mean it won't stay plugged into the iBook, or it won't stay plugged into the wall outlet?
It sounds like you need to replace the adapter.
There are third party choices for an adapter:
MCE Technologies
http://www.madsonline.com/index.html?
MacAlly adapter at Amazon.com
adapter at Other World Computing
Apple's is the only one with the glowing ring to indicate charging status, though, and can be found here:
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=M89 43LL/A
I believe the one from Other World Computing is one of the sturdiest of the lot. The MacAlly adapter's cord is a bit flimsier than the one from Other World Computing, but both are working fine on our iBooks. We haven't tried the pricier ones. -
Help please. My newish Ipod won't charge and won't connect to itunes
Hello,
I have had a 20 gb ipod for a month or two and just the other day I put it to charge (not for the first time) and it didn't connect. I have a docker and that didn't work either. I tried to connect to itunes on both laptop and home computer and it didn't register the ipod.
I guess there might be a loose connection in the bottom of the ipod? I am still under guarantee but can't make head nor tail of the site. If I call I get charged automatically 37 pounds for on line support (I am not within the 90 days as I bought this ipod on Ebay) Do I just send the whole thing in without really knowing what is wrong with it?
Has anyone had a similar problem? i successfully have connected both to the charger and itunes over the past few weeks though there were a couple of occasions where the ipod didn't get recognised by itunes.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks!Try these.

I have an iPhone 4 not quite 2 years old. 2 nights ago my iPhone was on its charger and it kept vibrating as if it was being disconnected and re-connected from the charger. When I looked at it had an "error" message but now I don't know what that was as it was 3am and I was half asleep. I just diconnected the charger and the battery read fully charged.
The my volume wouldn't go up or down. The box with "ringer" in it came up but no bars at the bottom to show the volume is increasing or decreasing. It would not play music out of the speakers either even though the screen showed it was playing and it would not work in our dock/speaker unless I used bluetooth and even then, if we touched the volume button on the dock it would switch off.
I tried a "hard" reset 3 times and tried switching it off and on 3 times with no success.
I tried 3 different chargers including a car charger, plus the speaker dock with no success.
It is now out of battery and I cannot charge it.
The iPhone also would not back anything up prior to the battery going flat.
I just need to know if it is fixable or do I need to start looking for a new phone?Welcome to the Apple Support Communities

Battery dead, won't charge. Doesn't turn on if unplugged. Can I reset it?
I have a white MacBook that I received as a high school graduation present. When it passed into my hands, everything ran normally except the battery; its condition renders my MacBook to be, in effect, a desktop with a built-in trackpad. It won't even turn on if it's not plugged in, and if it's unplugged while it's on, it responds the same way a desktop computer would if there were a sudden power failure; it completely shuts down, the unsafe way.
I highly doubt I have any warranty left on it, considering it's not a recent MacBook (there is an LED and the words "num lock" on the F6 key, and the volume keys are on F3, F4, and F5), and my grandfather installed some new hardware in it before it became mine. The battery was like this when I received it. Is there a way to trick the battery into thinking it's brand-new, or will I have to buy a new battery altogether?

T61 power adaptors do nothing - won't run computer & won't charge battery
My T61 suddenly won't run on the power adaptor, or charge the battery. I have several OEM power adaptors and none of them do anything plugged into this T61. The computer runs fine on a battery charged in another T61.
Assuming the power adapters are good, you'll need to replace the motherboard.

I was cleaning, and had replied to a message before setting it down. I go back to check it about ten minutes later, and its just off. It will not turn on for anything, won't be recognized, and won't recognize the charger. Idk what to do. Help me?
If the battery is completely dead it may take some time before there is enough power in the battery to display even the rudimentary battery dead icon. Leave it charge over night. Still dead in the morning, take it to an Apple Store.

Ipod battery needs to be recharged, won't charge, computer doesn't reconize
I got my ipod (2gb, Silver nano) just a few days ago. I charged fine the 1st and 3rd day of owning it.
This morning, the battery was low when i was using it, i had used the battery up, it said it needed to be recharged, so i plugged it into my computer, and left it plugged in. I came back about an hour later. The ipod didn't even have the charged sign on nor did itunes/my computer reconize it.
I tried plugging it in, numerous times, but it never worked. My sister tried plugging it into her wall charger, but it didn't even do anything on that.
Can someone help?http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61711

My iPad won't charge unless it's turned off. What's wrong?
my ipad (2nd generation) suddenly stopped charging. the charger is not the problem as it still charges my iphone. I then used my iPad charger to charge my iPad but it still won't work. I plugged it in my laptop and I get nothing. I can only charge it if it's turned off and I don't know why this is happening.
This happened to me months ago but for some reason it fixed itself. It's really frustrating especially since I barely use my iPad and now it's acting up on me.I have a similar problem. My iPad battery will actually discharge when it is plugged into a charger and I am using it. I spoke to Apple Care and they recommended that I restore to factory settings. That was fine, until I restored from back up and the problem returned. I took my iPad to a Genius Bar and the battery diagnostic tests showed the battery was in good condition. Yesterday I set up the iPad as a new iPad and it had a 100% charge, which it held for sometime and after approximately 8 hours of sporadic use, the battery was still 55% charged. When I returned home, I installed some of my favourite apps, including setting up the iCloud for iWork files and this morning the iPad was again losing battery charge when it is plugged into the charger. It seems as this must be a software glitch - any suggestions?

my charge has gone and now the phone will not charge now. What can I do? please can someone help. Mick from the UK.
Hi Mick,
The battery could have died...
Plug it in to the Wall Charger for 20 to 30 Minutes, then unplug it and try this...
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear and then Disappear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
Turn the Phone On...
If still no joy, it may need a New Battery, or it could be time to consider a New Phone...
If nothing works, take it to your nearest Apple Store and they will check it for you...

Playbook won't charge, light won't turn on: Solution.
I like many others have been having problems charging my playbook. It was dead, wouldn't turn on, tried everything! From rapid charger to connecting and disconnecting the USB port. I even opened the playbook and disconnected the battery. Finally, something worked.
Solution:
I pushed up on the connector with a tiny piece of metal, plastic, (whatever works for you) so the connector that charges the playbook is in the middle. Simply, I reversed the connection, so when I plugged the connector in, it plugged in upside down. I immediately got a charge, the red light came on, from a completely dead playbook and the charging icon flashed.
The problem as I am guessing is that the connector is very flimsy, if you pull the USB cord out of the playbook, it will bend the connector down. By lifting it to about the middle and reversing the connection, it works again.
You can test this simply by observation. On the top piece of the end of the USB, the side which connects to your RIM Blackberry Playbook, you will see two prongs on the outside, clasps. If you look inside the connection of the Playbook, you will see two grooves which these prongs fit into. When you fit the USB into the Playbook, if the prongs on the USB are on the wrong side, you are connecting it upside down. Move the small metal piece in the Playbook up or down to fix.Try a hard reset with it plugged in...press and hold the power and volume +&- until the device restarts...worked for me.

IPad won't overheated, won't charge and won't turn on
I have booked an appointment at the Genius bar for Friday but I'm not entirely sure what I have to bring/what they will do for me? Do I bring the box and charger and stuff and if I get a replacement is only the device itself replaced. Is it also possible that they will not repiar/replace it at all.

No Knowledge of ABAP, Can I learn SAP NETWEAVER XI ?
Dear Friends, I do not have any experience or knowledge about ABAP. Can I learn XI or I MUST definitely learn ABAP first before I proceed to learn XI. Some people at various institutes told me to learn CA- Cross Applications and that would be enough.
