Bb msn only works with wifi

Hi, i have a BB Pearl 8120 and it has a problem!
I can send BB messages, but i can't receive them if I don't have wifi connection! (but i do send without wifi connection)
Sometimes I can connect with internet (browser icon) sometimes I can't
I already updated the blackberry software with my PC
PLEASE HELP! Obviously I don't have wireless connection everywhere i go, so i'm incomunicated
The phone features work fine (regular SMS, I can call and receive calls)
What could be happening?

When you upgrade the OS, you MUST ensure that you aselect the options to wipe all existing appliucations from the phone, otherwsie it will only upgrade apps that can be upgraded.
Meaning it wont refresh a corrupt OS if its the same version...

try ditching whatsapp and re-installing it. see if it works for whatsapp only and then you know what to do with the others. Whatsapp has a lot to answer for. it killed my bold last year while i was in portugal. you try restoring a berry on a portugese laptop in a bar while you are drunk

Viber only working with wifi, not with 3g

Hi,
Can anyone explain why viber works on my iphone nomatter if im in a wifi hotspot or in the middle of no where, yet my wife has to be in a wifi hotspot for it to work on her iphone? we both have 3gs iphones, both running os4.3.
Could it be as simple as a setting?

Hi, i have an ipnone 4 and im with Optus 3G. Viber is only working for me (send texts and make calls) ONLY when im on wi-fi. If im not connected to a wifi connection it will not send any texts or make a call. If i try send a text it turns into a red dot with an exclamation mark near my comment and then it comes up with a message saying "An internet connection is required to set up Viber. Check your connection and try again. The request timed out."

Iphone 4 internet only works with wifi

I have an iphone 4 (no 'S') and for some reason I can't connect to the internet or access any apps that need to connect unless I am using wifi. It started after the most recent software update, but I can't find anything online that talks about it. Phone calls and texts work with no problem. I think I just need to make sure all of my settings are correct, but again, I can't find a troubleshooting checklist anywhere. Can anyone help me??

Have you tried resetting your network connections? Setting => General => Reset => Reset Network Settings
This will clear buffers and reconnect you to the nearest cell tower. (Or at least the one with the strongest signal in your area.)
Also clear History, cookies and data in Safari. Settings => Safari => Clear History, Clear Cookies and Data.

Iphone 4 7.0.6 internet only works with wifi

I use an iphone 4 ios 7.0.6. Last week i got stuck on Apple logo and i restore from backup after that I can't connect to the internet or access any apps that need to connect with mobile internet unless I am using wifi. I can't find anything online that talks about this. Phone calls and texts sms still working but imessage and facetime usable with apple id only (my phone no. disappear). Also i have done 'reset network', 'cellular data is on" and contact my mobile carrier( they are trying to straighten out). I really need to get my phone back to normal. I can't find a troubleshooting checklist anywhere. Help me please.

This is definately an issue relating to your cellular data connectivity. iMessage and FaceTime both need an active data connection (or wifi) to activate the phone number as well as fully functioning text messaging service.
It looks like you have tried a few things already to remedy your issue. Once thing I would do next is backup your iPhone via iTunes (not iCloud) again and then restore it via iTunes and set it up as new and see if it can access the internet via cellular data (wifi off). Also, test to see if you can activate iMessage & FaceTime with your phone number. If all is working well at this point, then pplug it back into iTunes and cick Restore Backup (not Restore iPhone), then select your backup and continue.
If the issue does not go away when set up as new, notify your carrier as there is an issue occuring connecting service and it's not software related. It could be something on the carrier's end or your SIM card.

Apps only work with WiFi ... Is this correct?

I just traded my iPod Touch in for an iPhone ... and I thought that I would be able to access e-mail, facebook, twitter (and all my other addictive apps) through the at&t network ... but they only seem to work when I'm connected to a WiFi network. Could this have something to do with transferring all my info from my iPod into my iPhone? How can I fix it?

You should be able to access the web and use the internet (with all of your apps) without Wi-Fi. AT&T's 3G, EDGE, and GPRS data networks access the internet. You should call AT&T or go to a retail store to find out if there is a problem with your account, like the data plan is missing or something.

Youtube not working with 3Gs, its only working with Wifi

I can't connect to the internet unless it's thru a wifi connection. Just started having this problem yesterday, 10/19/2014.

There could be an outage in your area. One thing you could try is resetting your SIM card, i.e., turn off the phone, remove the SIM card (be careful not to touch the gold contacts), wait a minute or two, then reinsert the SIM card, turn the phone back on, and allow it time to establish a fresh network connection.

Absolutely sure.. There is no connection at all.. reset is only the router side of the TC.
For the hard disk to be erased you need to access the airport utility disk page.. request erase and confirm the operation.

I am uncertain why if you have access you cannot change settings.. but that is why you reset things so any of those problems should be fixed.

Most of the current Apple Intel based computers are comparable in CPU speed. I don't think it is so much the model of laptop as it is the memory, and storage capacity of the machine. If you are going to use FCP on a regular basis, perhaps as a professional or semi-professional, then you should think about the maximum memory and a very large capacity internal disk drive. For instance, one hour of finished compressed video will take up about 1.5 to 2Gbytes of disk space. If you add up the raw footage and still imagery and audio, you'll use up your disk drive capacity real quick. So a hard disk on the order of 750Gbytes @ 7200rpms might be good for video editing. 5400RPMs might be slow to rendering times. Rendering a video might take up a lot of memory so more memory is better e.g. 8Gbytes.
As a rule of thumb, once you get to about 80% of your disk drive or memory you'll see degradation of performance.
You can check out macsales.com. THey have a menu system that will allow you to pick and choose from various alternatives. BTW, it's been said that although Macs are typically spec'd at a certain memory size, macsales.com found that Apple computers will actually support higher memory levels. That is, if 4Gbytes are spec'd, some machines support 6Gbytes. macsales.com will provide the guidance for you.
You might also consider buying an external disk e.g. 500Gbytes to carry around with you for back-up or transport to another machine.

Library sharing only works on wifi

Please help. I am running an iMac with OS 10.6.8 and a Samsung netbook NC10 running Windows XP. Both machines are in the same LAN, with a router of Sitecom to connect them and create internet availabilty.
When I run the Airport Express on the iMac the netbook itunes can see the itunes library of the iMac. When I just have the ethernet running, the library is not visible. What is blocking the sharing opportunity of the library of the iMac?
I would like to have only one library I actively use and update and play music on the netbook in the living room, connected to the amplifier.

Have you enabled your phone to use Cellular Data for iTunes Match? If not it will only work on WiFi.
The other possibility that I read is that there is a weird glitch in Apple's Terms and Service which changed recently. Apparently until you accept the new T&C the iTunes Match will skip on cellular. Annoyingly it seams the only way to get the new T&Cs to show for you to accept them is to go buy a new song.

It sounds like your Wi-Fi network is working if your desktop works with it, we just need to get the Wi-Fi on your iPhone and iPad connected to it. I found a couple of resources to help with not being able to connect to Wi-Fi on an iOS device.
I recommend following the steps in this tutorial first (the steps should work on the iPhone and iPad):

When did you buy it?
Apple did not begin selling an unlocked version of the iPhone 4S in the US until 11/11/11. I believe it went on sale only through the online store at that time. I'm not sure if it's available at retail yet.
What you purchased was a phone without a contract commitment. It is still locked to AT&T. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones for any reason. Return it and get your money back, then use that to purchase an unlocked phone.
