Following the documentation: "BEA-000450" "Unable to find internal data record for the socket", this message can be ignored as it is a harmless message.
The root cause of this message is due to fixing the OutOfMemory message being reported in an incident CR346335 for WebLogic 9.2 MP3. Code changes
were made to explicitly remove the associated objects from memory for a given socket after the timer thread closed the socket as OS was not reporting
the error on the OS level. As a result of the removal of the associated objects, the message starts appearing in the log.
BEA-300048 (An I/O error occurred while attempting to start the specified server.) The most likely cause is a configuration error in the Shell/SSH/RSH
NodeManager configuration. Action: Make sure that you can access the remote NodeManager. Have you copied the boot.properties file from one domain
to another. Note that the seed is different; put plain text credentials in the boot.properties file and let WebLogic decrypt them.
As you said the nodemanager is reachable. Are there any logging messages in the MS_7003.out or the MS_7003.log files, which can tell something more,
maybe point to a configuration issue. The logging files are located in the directory <middleware-home>/user_projects/domain/<domain-name>/servers/MS_7003/logs.

What is the reason for above warning? In BEA site, saying to contact Support.. Can anyone help to find out reason for above warning?
    Thanks.
    Satya

The warning messages written to the WebServer logfile file is occurring due to the code changes made in WebLogic to avoid the OutofMemory Issues. -
To get rid of the warning message the logging severity level needs to be increased.. We may avoid logging of this message by using Log4j with WLS.
Furthermore this message can be ignored as it is a harmless message.

  • Clustered listener gets nothing back from APEX after upgrade to 4.1.1

    Hi,
I'm not sure if that subject is entirely accurate, but that appears to be the effect we are experiencing. We have had an SR open for this since April and seem to have the engineers stumped. Maybe someone on here has some insight that may help...
    Environment: Seven APEX instances
APEX 4.1.1 (problem started after upgrading from 4.0.x) running on an 11g RAC.
Listener version 1.1.3.243.11.40 running on WebLogic 10.3.2.0
Listeners are in 2x clusters on two different WebLogic domains spread over 4 different servers.
    Problem:
In two of the apex instances, a couple of days after upgrading to 4.1.1, the listeners starting returning blank, empty pages to the browser. We went through all the usual debugging steps (/i/ directory, connectivity, etc) and nothing fixed the problem. Finally the only thing that fixes the problem is to shut down one of the two clustered WL managed servers running the listeners, reducing the listener to a single instance per APEX instance. Like clockwork, if the second managed server is brought back up, within minutes-to-hours, the listener starts returning blank pages to the browser. Just a couple of days ago, a third apex instance and its listeners has started to manifest the problem and had to be half shut down. We are beginning to think there is a bug in APEX 4.1.1 that deadlocks the listener (or something) when it is clustered...
    Other data points:
The listenerAdmin and listenerStatus pages continue to work and report perfect health for all listeners involved.
The APEX management console (p=4550:1) is also affected by the problem, not just apps.
We ran the "apex_verify" script on all problem instances with no errors.
We have hard rebooted all affected servers, with no change in the problem.
This identical environment was running perfectly stable, clustered for many months on APEX 4.0 (and before).
The only thing that keeps our APEX apps running is to run the listeners single instance (un-clustered).
Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide on this very annoying problem!
    Brian

So it's somewhere within your WLS setup.Mmm... I won't discount anything, but I doubt it. If that were the case, how could this exact environment have managed to work flawlessly for the past 3 years on these clusters, the listener being upgraded several times through several versions of apex? Only directly after we upgraded apex (not the listener) to 4.1.1 did our troubles start. My suspicion is that there is a bug or a change in 4.1.1 (or maybe 4.1 as we applied 4.1.1 right after 4.1) that has manifested this problem for us.
    >
They definitely are not being used equally, but none of them are being slammed. Usage is fairly light in all cases.... which sounds like if there is some kind of load balancing algorithm different from round robin in your scenario.Ahh, I misinterpreted your question. You were asking if the load is balanced fairly between nodes on the same cluster. I took you to be asking if our separate, unrelated apex instances get the same use. So, the answer then is "yes" hits to a single listener WLS cluster do appear to be getting assigned equally to the different nodes, and the clusters are installed as per the documentation with round-robin scheduling.
####<Jun 11, 2012 11:07:31 AM EDT> <Warning> <Socket> <hostname> <server-name> <ExecuteThread: '0' for queue: 'weblogic.socket.Muxer'> <<WLS Kernel>> <1339427251735> <BEA-000450> <Socket 5 internal data record unavailable (probable closure due idle timeout), event received 17>That could probably have a lot of reasons, but none of them is specific to APEX Listener. Google gives a lot of hits ranging from memory issues to missing classes, and ... duplicate configuration parameters, e.g. app names, jdbc pool names, etc.... and of course, I'm not convinced that this has much to do with the problem at hand. It just happened to be in the log at around the time that someone noticed the problem happening in one case.
Could it be your APEX Listener is deployed multiple times on the same node using the same name?Good thought, but definitely no. We figured out that issue a couple of years ago, back when you had to hack the listener WAR file to make it use a non-temporary config.
Lastly, I just want to thank you again Udo for patiently digging into this. We now have three SR's open with Oracle on this (RAC team, APEX team, and WebLogic team) and we have gotten nowhere yet with any of them...

I want to update the attributes for eg password of the reconciled users from the OIMI assume that you talking about Target only.
Do you wanna say that you have reconciled one account in OIM but when you change password in OIM tehn that password doesn't get updated in target resource.
Have you configures Change User Password task and does you have entry for the same task in Trigger lookup ?
What are the steps you following for testing your scenario ?

  • Issue after deploying war file???

We are moving from a windows box to a unix box...
We had installed jdeveloper - jdev11113install.exe (along with weblogic server and adf libraries) earlier version on the windows box and deployed a ADF application war file on that box which worked fine.
Now i have installed jdevloper -jdev11115install.jar (along with weblogic server and adf libraries) a newer version. Now if i deploy my adf war file on this weblogic server its not fully functional. I have some bars and charts which dont load on one tab but loads on the other.
    Here are my logs :

Please provide the solution, how to solve this issue.
    Thanks

Just at first glance, it seems as though you have one or more configuration issues, perhaps inconsistencies between the node manager server configuration files and the domain's config.xml
    nmConnect('weblogic', 'w3bl0g1c', 'ukirt156', '5556', 'twp_domain', '/appl/weblogic/oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains/twp_domain', 'plain')
    nmStart('twpserver1')
implies that tmp_domain is configured in /appl/weblogic/oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains, (which is the default from the configuration wizard). However, the node manager and server output logs make it seem like it's trying to use a domain in the directory /appl/weblogic/scripts. Not sure how that happened, perhaps you had two domains? Perhaps copied or moved the domain files? Something else?
In any case, start by checking out your nodemanager.domains file and ensure that it reflects your intended domain directory.

  • OBI 11.1.1.6.SSO

    Hello All,
I am trying to configure Windows Native authentication for OBIEE 11.1.1.6 per the "Configuring authentication and SSO with Active Directory and Windows Native Authentication in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition” Oracle Support Note ID 1274953.1
Created the JAAS login module and named it krb5login.conf and modified the krb5.conf in Linux Server /etc folder.Modified the Weblogic Start up script setDomainEnv.sh
Also I have web.xml and weblogic.xml to configure BI for SSO. The user trying to login are members of BI Users.
Enabled the SSO for Windows Native Authentication in Enterprise Manager Security tab.
Configured the Client Machine for Single Sign on as per the TechNote note.
    =====================================================================================================
    Error 401--Unauthorized
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
    10.4.2 401 Unauthorized
The request requires user authentication. The response MUST include a WWW-Authenticate header field (section 14.46) containing a challenge applicable to the requested resource. The client MAY repeat the request with a suitable Authorization header field (section 14.8). If the request already included Authorization credentials, then the 401 response indicates that authorization has been refused for those credentials. If the 401 response contains the same challenge as the prior response, and the user agent has already attempted authentication at least once, then the user SHOULD be presented the entity that was given in the response, since that entity MAY include relevant diagnostic information. HTTP access authentication is explained in section 11.
    =====================================================================================================
    Troubleshooting the Error 401 - Unauthorized :
    1. The Weblogic Kerberos config file is incorrect so that although kinit verifies your machine can authenticate with the AD server, Weblogic cannot.
Recheck the settings in krb5login.conf, and setDomainEnv.cmd (see section above entitled “Configure Weblogic Login Module”)
knit is Authenticating to AD using Kerberos V5.
    2. Your client is not correctly configured - have you added the Weblogic server URL (e.g. http://: bieesvr1.xyz2.com:9704/analytics/) to the Intranet
zone and set the Automatic logon in Intranet zone setting? (see the section above entitled “Configure the client for single sign-on”)
Have tried configuring Internet Explorer , Mozilla firefox and Google Chorme for SSO but not success till now.
    3. You're not logged into the AD domain on the client - you need to login to Windows on the client machine as an account in your AD domain (e.g.
    XYZCORP\jsmith)
I have logged in to the AD domain I just configured.
    4. Your user account is not a member of the group(s) you specified in the principal element(s) in weblogic.xml. N.B. these groups must exist in the AD
domain (see section above entitled “Configure BI Analytics App to request SPNEGO Authentication”)
I am part of the group that has been created for the SSO Role which is configured in the weblogic.xml as principal name.
I am stuck and trying to analyze the biserver.out log file
Please let me know if anyone faced similar issue whilst configuring kerberos SSO for OBIEE 11g.

  • Deploy the larger rulebases and determinations-server to WSL 10.3.5 slow

On : 10.1.0.27 version, Oracle Policy Automation
    Determination Server
    WLS managed server
    ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
Deploy the larger rulebases and determinations-server to WSL 10.3.5
It takes around 20 minutes to deploy.
Often the WLS times out during the deployment and we find the only way of getting the determinations-server to run again is to restart the WLS managed server.
    EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
No time or delay to deploy.
    Business impact
On the way deploy rule base WLS server sometimes timeout.

The customer improved as follows solution.
The customer have changed the way deploy the rulebases and this has reduced the deployment time dramatically.
They have 3 rulebases and one of Billing is the largest by far.
They have split the billing into an out of the box determinations-server and are deploying it as a war.
The whole process is now acceptable.
