Bea JMX not found on startup

The bean name is:
com.bea:ServerRuntime=WLS1_COMMON_MS1,
Name=DiagnosticsJMXNotificationSource,
Type=WLDFWatchJMXNotificationRuntime,WLDFRuntime=WLDFRuntime,WLDFWatchNotificationRuntime=WatchNotification
When I run jconsole I can see that this bean is not created early on in the clustered environment during restart and I get this exception:
SEVERE: javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException: com.bea:ServerRuntime=WLS1_COMMON_MS1,Name=DiagnosticsJMXNotificationSource,Type=WLDFWatchJMXNotificationRuntime,WLDFRuntime=WLDFRuntime,WLDFWatchNotificationRuntime=WatchNotification

at weblogic.management.jmx.mbeanserver.WLSMBeanServerInterceptorBase$19.run(WLSMBeanServerInterceptorBase.java:511)
Here are the different tests I've done:
1. local windows machine, admin server, serverlet listener context initiazed - always works - I can see the bean and hook up a listener
2. linux cluster, app cycle listener - always works
3. linux cluster, serverlet listener context initiazed, mostly fails - can't find the com.bea... bean
For case #3 we have an older war project that will eventually be updated to an ear but for now I don't want to
do that because I will end up having to update around 10 of the war projects at the same time. I want to use
the servlet context initialized for now, if it's possible.
So, for some reason the servlet listener on linux runs early and I can't get the JMX notifications to work. I tried
adding a thread sleep but that seems to just block the bean creation and still I see the failure. So, how can I get
this to work?
thanks,
Paul.

I converted the war project to an ear project and I'm still seeing the same problem - the bea.com beans don't show. I added some simple test code in postStart:
for ( String domain : beanServer.getDomains() )
logger.info( "domain: " + domain );
on my local machine I see:
INFO: domain: Security
INFO: domain: com.sun.management
INFO: domain: JMImplementation
INFO: domain: com.oracle.jdbc
INFO: domain: com.bea
and on the cluster w/ many managed servers I see:
INFO: domain: JMImplementation
INFO: domain: oracle.jrockit.management
INFO: domain: com.sun.management
INFO: domain: com.oracle.jrockit
INFO: domain: com.oracle.jdbc
INFO: domain: java.lang
INFO: domain: java.util.logging
So, the bea.com domain is missing? Is there some way to get this domain to be available?
thanks,
Paul.

  • "Extendscript.dll was not found" at startup

Just bought and installed Photoshop and Premiere Elements 12 on my PC running Vista 64 bit. Now everytime I boot up my PC I get an error box titled "Elementsautoanalyzer.exe - Unable to Locate Component" and a message that says ExtendScript.dll was not found.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop but it didn't work. I ran CCLEANER but that didn't help. This error never came up before I installed Elements 12. I did have Elements 11 installed which I uninstalled.
    Please advise.

    P.S. I did update Elements to 12.1

I am also getting this error message when I boot-up Windows. I started seeing this error after I installed the PSE 12.1 update. I did not see this error while using PSE 12 without the 12.1 update.
I launched Organizer. I do not see an option "File->Load plugins"

  • Entry point not found prevents startup of Indesign in CS4

After installing the update for Indesign CS4, ver. 6.0.2, I cannot start the program.  When I try to start it, I get the following 2 boxes and then the program closes:  (1) Box 1 is titled "Font Capture:InDesign.exe - Entry Point Not Found" and says:"The procedure entry point ?GetSerialNumberDecrypted@SerialNumberPrivate@@SA?AVPMString @@XZ could not be located in the dynamic link library Public.dll.   (2) Box 2 is titled "Font Capture:InDesign.exe - Entry Point Not Found" and says:"The procedure entry point ?CanHaveKeyFocus@WOWFlashPlayerEventHandler@@UBEFXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library WidgetBind.dll."
Does anyone have a clue about how to fix this?   This renders a pretty expensive piece of software completely inoperable, and Adobe's support website does not have a solution.   Thanks!

I had to uninstall and reinstall Indesign.  It now works fine.   Here is the response I got from Adobe support, which worked:
Most likely, the update did not apply correctly and the InDesign installation has become corrupted.  Please remove InDesign from the Creative Suite® 4 by going to Start> Control Panel> Programs and Features. Select the Creative Suite from the menu and click the Uninstall/Change button. Select to only remove InDesign from the Suite and proceed through the uninstaller.
Once it removed reinstall InDesign from your installation disc or download.

  • Wireless card not found on startup.

I recently got an iMac.  Sometimes when I start it up, I see a gray loading screen with a progress bar, and then it asks me to log in.  (There is only one account on the computer.)  When I log in, my wireless internet does not work.  I can go to the system preferences under network, and it will not let me turn on the wi-fi.  If I restart the computer, everything works just fine.  Also, if I start up the computer and it doesn't ask me to log in, the wireless works right away.  I recently upgraded to Lion, but since I just got the computer, I don't know if it's a Lion issue or not.

OK, the next thing I'd try is a SMC and PRAM reset. If you haven't done these before please use the link below. Sometimes it takes 2-3x for the resets to work.

  • WEB-INF/web.xml not found exception for deployed war on server startup

Weblogic server is throwing an exception indicating that it can't find
web.xml on startup when a particular war file is deployed. The exception
              and my web.xml follow below.
There are some other strange elements to this:
              1) The deployed war in the application directory has a valid web.xml in the
              web-inf folder.
              2) The war in the servers temp directory corresponding to my war contains
only the files found in WEB-INF in the deployed jar, but not those found in
web-inf (case matters). These files are in the root of the war, not in a
              WEB-INF folder!
              3) The servlets in the war do load and are invokable.
              4) If I redeploy the jar while the server is still running, I get no
exception, and the temp war then has the correct structure (with a WEB-INF
              folder and contains web.xml).
              The exception:

Can you stop the server delete the .wl_temp_do_not_delete

There are some other strange elements to this:
              1) The deployed war in the application directory has a valid web.xml in the
              web-inf folder.
              2) The war in the servers temp directory corresponding to my war contains
only the files found in WEB-INF in the deployed jar, but not those found in
web-inf (case matters). These files are in the root of the war, not in a
              WEB-INF folder!
              3) The servlets in the war do load and are invokable.
              4) If I redeploy the jar while the server is still running, I get no
exception, and the temp war then has the correct structure (with a WEB-INF

iam using weblogic server 10 and bea jrockit 1.5.0.12.
i have created a startup class in the admin console for a web project and i have deployed the war file using the console in a user defined domains, user project directory.
when i start the server, iam getting class not found exception for the startup class.
But, the startup class is available in the web archive (war). how should we add the classes and jars in the war to the classpath in setDomainEnv.sh or is there any other setting available in the console to enable this.

    Hello Julius,
yes sure, we can move this post to the NW admin forum. I have already posted similar thread on sun forums. I was hoping that someone from SAP SDN already tackled this problem and if not someone specialized in J2EE Engine could troubleshoot me from the class problem I'm getting. I don't know if it's specific from the agent or if this ClassNotFound is a general SAP J2EE Engine error relating to a library not correclty defined.
    Kind regards,

At my PC startup, I get an error message "AppleSyncNotifier.exe--Entry Point Not Found"  My iPhone now doesn't show up as a Device in either iTunes or My Computer on my PC. I've uninstalled/ reinstalled iTunes & run diagnostics-no luck. Ideas?

I think my problem is fixed now.
For the fun of it, I reinstalled iTunes 9.2.1 today (using the exact same installer as I did yesterday), but this time I didn't uninstall iTunes first. As expected, iTunes recognized my iPhone (as I expected it to, until my next reboot).
A few minutes later, Software Update showed up and among the updates is "iPhone SDK Compatibility Update". The description indicates that installing this should fix an issue where iPhones and iPod touches aren't recognized by iTunes. Isn't that interesting?
I installed that update and most of the others waiting for me (including Java, Safari 5.0.1, and a few others - not 10.6.4 though, due to the issues with nVidia graphics cards). After the reboot, I started iTunes, and it saw my iPhone!
So, if you're having this same problem, I'd recommend tracking down this update and see if that does the trick for you. Hopefully it will.

    belle

This is the fix I got from discussions and it worked for me.  It is copied below.  I just did the manual fix which I have underlined. Good luck! Regards, Belle.
This can occur because libmxl2.dll is not in your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support folder.
There have been some issues with this and other dlls not being in the right place (or not being everywhere they should be) since the 10.3.1.55 iTunes update.
However, I note that the 10.4 iTunes update is now out - surprisingly quickly - so try installing that, rebooting, and see if your issue is solved.
If it isn't, though, here's the manual fix:-
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the libmxl2.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well.
I actually had the issue with SQLite3.dll, and the above fix worked for me (I found it in an April 2010 posting!).
I passed on the fix as above for the similar issue with libmxl2.dll to someone who had exactly your problem, and he reported that it fixed it for him.

  • WLI-Core:489214: jpd not found error on bea weblogic 8.1 sp4

    Hi,
I am developing a website using BEA Workshow 8.1 SP4 deployed on Integration single managed server cluster domain. I have some stateless jpd to process the stuff in asynchronized mode.
one in a week I am geting the following error:

If I restart the managed server then this problem is resolved.
How can I fix this problem. Everything like queues, jsm server, connection pool is configured properly.
I can provide info about domain configuration if somebody needs.
    Thanks,

I'm getting the same error using BEA Workshop 8.1 SP6. Could you resolve this issue?

There are only a finite number of places where you can put all the needed jars
    in which that servlet depends:
    1. myapp.ear/APP-INF/lib
    2. myapp.ear/WEB-INF/lib
    3. or put it to a directory in the ear and refer to each jars in the CLASS-PATH
    line of the MANIFEST.MF file.
    4. myweb.war/WEB-INF/lib
    5. EJBs are in myapp.ear top directory
    6. Refer to all the jars in startWebLogic.cmd script as it starts.
I still don't know what jars I am missing.

    Rob,
I remove all the classpath, but when I deploy the ejb complains thatit missed
all the needed utilities class. Ok, stop there. If the utilities classes need to be seen by both the
EJBs and webapp, then placing them in WEB-INF/lib is not enough. That
makes them available only to the webapp.
If you're using 8.1, then the solution is pretty simple. Move your
utility classes into a top-level directory named APP-INF/lib
    ie
    ear/APP-INF/lib/utils.jar
    ear/fooejb.jar
    ear/fooweb.war
If you're using < 8.1, then you can still move the jars to APP-INF/lib,
but you'll need to add manifest class-path entries to the EJB and webapp.
    -- Rob
I again place it on - the ear deploys fine (ejbs
and war). But the starting servlet could not loaded because it cannotfinds a
class that it depends on. I think I reference all the classes or jarsthat it
needs - so I need it to tell me which one. I don't know why weblogicmakes it
so difficult. It took me a month already and all I need to do is findthe class
    that it complains about.
    Rob Woollen <[email protected]> wrote:
Yes, it would be nicer if that exception had more information.
You told the web container the servlet-class in your web.xml. THe
    web
container tried to load it and got a NoClassDefFoundError.
Unfortuantely that exception doesn't include much information.
NoClassDefFoundErrors are caused by something in a parent loader
depending on something in a child classloader.
Step #1 is for you to remove everything you've added to the $CLASSPATH.
If that doesn't solve your problem, post again.

I have tried adding the JAR file (com.bea.wlevs.adapters.jms_12.1.3.0_0.jar) to my deployment JAR. That did not make any difference.
Does anyone know why this class OutboundMessageConverter is not found - and more importantly: what I can do to make it available in the run time?
    thanks.

To make a package available to your application at runtime for OEP, you will need to add it to the application's MANIFEST.MF file to the Import Package section (since the OEP server is OSGi-based). There's no need to supply a version number, you can just enter the package name (e.g.)

  • Optional Package class reference at server startup...gives class not found

I have a enterprise app having a webservice..the webservice (servlet) gets instantiated on server startup…It has reference of a class which is an optional package
All the manifest entries are correctly added to the ear..manifest.mf..
When the servlet is initialized at startup.. gives me a class not found error…
However, the app works fine..this is just a one time error(whenever the app is deployed fresh..)..
    Any help would be appreciated

  • Startup trouble, won't update and says "operating system not found"

So when I tried updating to the new thunderbolt update thingy (yes I know, VERY late but I kept forgetting to update it and I didnt have time) it didnt start up because it said "operating system not found" after 30 mins of looking around for tips to reboot they didnt work,
I troed rebooting and it worked, and I followed the instructions to "download Mac OS X Lion" again. But it wont redownload because this reason:
"You can't upgrade this version of Mac OS X because a newer version is installed."
I have tried everything and since I downloaded the thunderbolt REALLY late I dont think anyone else had had this problem.
    Help me please?

  • Wsdlc: Provider com.bea.xml.stream.XMLOutputFactoryBase not found

So I'm trying to run wsdlc in Eclipse (and as a command line, both don't work). I want to run wsdlc without having to run setDomainEnv.cmd first (painful if i'm in eclipse). I've gotten previous commands (8.1 stuff) working w/o running this first. If I add weblogic.jar to the Ant runtime classpath it also works, but again, I want to avoid this because a) i've never had to do it in the past and b) it blows up my <junitreport> task because it tries to use weblogic's SAX stuff.
    The error I get is:
    javax.xml.stream.FactoryConfigurationError: Provider com.bea.xml.stream.XMLOutputFactoryBase not found
Anyways, is there a way to set up the classpath within ant for just this task? I've tried adding weblogic jars into wsdlc classpaths but it doesn't seem to work.
It seems that com.bea.xml.stream.* can't be found anywhere but weblogic.xml.stream is in there. Any way I can redirect the XStream stuff to point there? I've tried system properties but didn't seem to work.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm... so that works as long as i add all of those jars to the ANT runtime classpath which is what I want to avoid in the first place. I'm starting to think it's wsdlc that's not paying any attention to the classpathref's I'm giving it.
Previous weblogic ant tasks never required the jar to be in the ANT runtime classpath and I could just pass it a classpathref to the my weblogic jars and thing worked fine.
    Any other help?
