Behaviour: "Set Text of Text Filed"

I am attempting to apply the behaviour "Set Text of Text
Filed" to a radio button pair (the NO of Yes, NO) in order to fill
in a text field with "skip to question 4"
However, when attempting to apply, I get an error message "no
ID. Set ID in the Property Inspector. I also not that while the
form text fields all have names (eg., "name", "street", etc.) The
"Set Text of Text Filed" behaviour windows shows them as "input
<unidentified> why?
The radio button name in the property inspector is "radio"
and the checked value is "yesno". I see no other fields on the
property inspector to apply an ID. I have even encapsulated the
"NO" radio button in a "DIV" tage with a ID=NO. But it also does
not show up in the "Set Text of Text Filed" behaviour window. Still
shows them as "input <unidentified>. Why?
Can anyone advise what I am doing wrong?
The "set text of container" and the "set text of status bar"
behaviours work just fine.

How to customize the content set in text as part of tag cq:text property="text"/

We use the tag <cq:text property="text"/> to get the content, which is set in the jcr property "text". Text was set in Richtext component and it has hyper link.
Now, we have to customize the text.
Example:-
Actual Text in 'text' property:-

After customization in 'text' property:-

i.e .html has been removed.
I tried customizing and set back to text attribute using <c:set var="text" value="<CustomizedText>" /> but even after that tag <cq:text property="text"/> retrieves the old content i.e with .html
Please suggest how to override text content, so that the tag <cq:text property="text"/> will print customized text.

Which version of cq? Is Strict Extension Check enabled at http://<host>:<port>/system/console/configMgr/com.day.cq.rewriter.linkchecker.impl.LinkCheckerTra nsformerFactory

How do I set the default value of a bound textbox when the AddNewItem button on the MenuStrip is clicked?
I have the following code (see below), but for some reason it does work when I put the code in the
AddNewItem_Click event; however, it does work if I put it in the
Form's Load Event. The statement in question is Me.txtBusUsagePct.Text = 100.
What am I doing wrong? Why can't I set the default text in the AddNewItem_Click
event?

There are a couple of ways of doing this:
If you're editing on the canvas, press Shift + Enter.
If you're working in Express View (see lower right hand corner of Project Siena), you'll need to copy a hard return from another app such as Notepad.

I have an onclick event that sets the value of a form element
to "Hi there" using the Set Text of Text Field behavior. Works
great. The reference book I have says you can also place valid
JavaScript code in the box that appears by placing it in brackets {

Of course, can't get it to work

Something like this

This will update field2 to field1's value when you tab out of

you can alter onchange to onkeyup to have field2 updated as

You can now use CSS styles to set the default text format for TextView. It no longer has any formatting properties. It supports the entire set of Gumbo text format styles.
SkinnableComponent and Group now also support all these styles. However, skins such as ButtonSkin, TextInputSkin, and TextAreaSkin continue for now to specify instance styles on their TextBox, TextGraphic, and TextView, in order to give them a Gumbo look rather than a Halo look. So if you try setting, for example, the fontSize on the Application, it doesn't yet affect the text format of a Button, TextInput, TextArea, etc. unless you remove the instance style in the skin.

Nevermind guys - I did it using the 'rb_on.selected' command on the "on" radio button if the .txt file variable was "on", else the "off" radio button is selected.

Display Image(which set as behind text) based on some condition.

hi all
I have developed a xml report and in that rtf am displaying a static image (which is set as behin text).
But i need to display the image based on some condition
for example i have a field as ORG_ID
if org_id=87 then image should display for that purpose am planning to use <?if:ORG_ID=87?> condition but where to place this condition for the image.

in my out put page am displaying item details ,quantity,and cost and customer details just like invoice copy .
behind this data am displaying my company logo which will capture whole page size..
if i place the image in table then fields will be automatically in table so i cant restrict image in this way.
Kindly suggest any other way that works only for image which is behind text. i mean condition should be applicable only for image and leaving all other fileds in rtf.
or
help on this how to set a dynamic image as behind the text.

In addition to what has already been suggested...
Under Safari Preferences > Advanced, check "Show Develop menu in menu bar."
Once enabled, go to the Develop menu and check: Disable Images, Disable Styles, and Disable JavaScript. You might need to refresh the current page for the changes to take effect.
You might also look into the Lynx text browser.

Slider with Synth - Problems setting tick and text color

Hi,
I'm currently using Synth and I'm having some problems with sliders. The sliders appear and work fine, although I can't seem to change the color of the ticks and text.
I would like the ticks and text to be orange, but it seems to default to black. I tried changing this in the Slider section of my Synth file (see below) but with no luck.
Would anyone have any suggestions?

How can I set the caption text of picture controls inside an array or how can I choose which array element is assigned using the array elements caption text property.

I have 8 picture controls inside an array and I would like to set the caption text of these controls.
I have used the property node of the array and used the array elements property caption text to set the text.
The problem is however that I set the same text to all the picture controls inside the array.
My question is how to set caption text of specific elements (Picture control) that I have so far only been able to access using the array elements caption text property.

1 You could use the caption of the array and place it in front of the selected picture and update that using property nodes.
2 Like Norbett said if you use a cluster of pictures then their caption can be updated individually.
