the community items sequence doesn't match the as-path( 3356 - 3549 - 13237 vs. 13237 3356 3549... )
if they are using additive community features, what would cause this?
TIA.

Hello Gviewer,
in example 3-141 of TCP/IP vol.II is shown a sh ip bgp from a router internal to AS 100 named colorado.
AS path attribute is 2000 because AS 100 is not added to AS path in an iBGP session within AS 100 (it will be added when sending the update to another AS)
so community 2000:xx is set by eBGP peer (austria)  and later BGP community 100:yy is set by iBGP peer (Idaho) of the router in which the sh ip bgp is been performed (colorado)
to be noted the eBGP peer of the router of example 3-141 will see an AS path of  100 2000 with BGP community 100:yy 2000:xx and this would be more similar to what you have seen in your tests.
The key point is that 100:xx is added by an iBGP peer.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

  • Data written to socket getting lost?  or perhaps out of order?

    I'm trying to fix a bug in Flashmog. The bug is described in more detail here.
    Basically what is happening is that my Flash client claims that it is calling functions that don't arrive at the server -- or they arrive, but the socket data is out of order and therefore is garbled.  I've stared at the source code for hours and tried a lot of trial-and-error type stuff and added trace statements to see if I can find the problem and I'm not having any luck.
    In particular, there's class I have called RPCSocket that extends the AS3 Socket class so I can serialize data structures before sending them across a socket.  At one point, this RPCSocket class calls super.writeBytes and super.Flush.  It is the point at which I send all data out of my client. The data is binary data in AMF3 format.
              public function executeRPC(serviceName:String, methodName:String, methodParams:Array):void {
                   if (!this.connected) {
                        log.write('RPCSocket.executeRPC failed. ' + methodName + ' attempted on service ' + serviceName + ' while not connected', Log.HIGH);
                        throw new Error('RPCSocket.executeRPC failed. ' + methodName + ' attempted on service ' + serviceName + ' while not connected.');
                        return;
                   var rpc:Array = new Array();
                   rpc[0] = serviceName;
                   rpc[1] = methodName;
                   rpc[2] = methodParams;
                   var serializedRPC:ByteArray = serialize(rpc);
                   if (!serializedRPC) {
                        log.write('RPCSocket.executeRPC failed.  Serialization failed for method ' + methodName + ' on service ' + serviceName, Log.HIGH);
                        dispatchEvent(new IOErrorEvent(IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, false, false, 'RPCSocket.executeRPC failed.  Serialization failed for method ' + methodName + ' on service ' + serviceName));
                   super.writeUnsignedInt(serializedRPC.length);
                   super.writeBytes(serializedRPC);
                   super.flush();
              } // executeRPC
    Can someone recommend a way for me to store without corruption, conversion, or filtering or translation of any kind *all* of the information sent across this socket? I'd like to write it to a file.  I'm guessing that keep a global ByteArray var and storing the info there might work, but I'm wondering how I might get the contents of that ByteArray into a file so I can inspect it.
    Also, I'm wondering if I might be able to inspect what flash actually sends out on the socket?  I have a sneaking suspicion that data I supply to super.writeBytes may be sent out of order or may not actually get sent across the socket.  This bug I'm talking about only seems to happen under high-stress situations when I'm sending dozens of messages per second across this one socket.

  • Is there a way to reorganize out-of-order tracks in iTunes 11?

    Hello all--
    In iTunes 10, if an album appeared with the track numbers out of order, I could just click on the track number tab within each individual album and the tracks would be resorted by track number. In iTunes 11, I can't find a way to do the same thing. For example, I imported an album and now it starts out with track 4, then goes to 15, etc., but can't get them to sort sequentially. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    I tried looking at one out-of-order album in the "songs" view, based on a similar question, but every time I try to search for the album under "songs" iTunes shows the result under "albums".

    here is a link to macosxhints.com that tells you how to output all of your feed URLs to a terminal window. from there you can cut and paste them into your new feed reader of choice...

  • Automator - When using the Render PDF as Image action, the first file is out of order (naming).  How can I fix this?

    I am creating an Automator Action to render PDF files as Images.  When the PDF is multiple pages, the first page has no numbers, so it ends up at the end of the list.  Here's an example:
    When it is a single page, the result is:
    filename.png
    When it is multiple pages, the result is:
    filename 141.png
    filename 142.png
    filename 143.png
    filename 144.png
    filename.png
    First, it always seems to start at 141...not sure why.
    Second, I did try to add an action to rename and make sequential, however the resulting list was in the same order... except with additional numbers at the end.
    Any suggestions?

    I see.
    This worked when I tested on 1 PDF:
    The Run Shell Script Action is:
    basename=${1##*/}
    echo ${basename%.*}
    If it's still out of order, add: Sort Finder Items [by creation date] after Render PDF Pages as Images

  • Final Cut Express occasionally renders audio "out of order"

    I'm running into a very occasional problem, which is just rare and random enough to not be recreatable on demand, and so is proving difficult to troubleshoot.
    In a nutshell, sometimes - not very often - when I render an audio stream it will report an estimate of 6 hours or more for something even as small as a 1-second transition.  This is not a composite or layered video or audio by any means, just a standard cross-disolve/cross-fade (+3) between two adjacent clips.  When this type of extreme estimate occurs, I may find afterward that rendered audio in the sequence has been moved around, sort of like a shell game.  Usually this anomaly only happens over a minute or less of the project.  Trying to describe this, a portion of the rendered audio from one part of the timeline will replace a portion of rendered audio elsewhere -- as if some audio render segments have gotten linked out-of-order.  If memory serves, the displaced audio so far has always appeared earlier in the timeline than it should.  The replaced audio just doesn't seem to appear anywhere.  So far, if I remove the associated audio render files and re-render, it fixes the problem, but I'm trying to sort out what is causing the behaviour in the first place so that I can take steps to keep it from happening at all.  It raises havoc with trying to meet deadlines when I'm stuck re-rendering sometimes entire segments....
    For some details about the environment:
         System is a Mac Book Pro, 2.4GHz Intel core duo, 4GB RAM, OSX 10.5.8.
         I'm using FCE4, importing SD clips for TV production from Sony cameras (sorry, I'm not part of the camera crew, and I can't recall the exact model number of their cameras - they are all the same model though, configured the same, so no known variables from that end).
         The cameras record standard-def MPG (Mpeg layer 2, so yes I convert them before importing into FCE), I convert them using the ffmpeg library.  I tried FFMPEGX, but I find I have far more control over video/audio parameters and combinations with the command-line version.  The parameters I use result in a Quicktime (.mov) file with these parameters: 16-bit integer (little-endian), stereo, 48kHz, DV 720x480 (640x480), Millions (of colors).  FCE is generally quite happy with these parameters, and does not require immediate rendering of the audio or video - unless plugins are applied of course.  As far as plugs, I generally only use the built-in FCE plugs for comp/lim and parametric EQ.  If I have to get much more detailed than that, I'll go to Digital Performer (read on).
         In some cases the audio of the original clips is in quite a bad state, and requires far more detailed restoration than FCE can provide.  As I am primarily an audio engineer, I rely on Digital Performer and friends for audio restoration, exporting from there a new clip, usually duplicating the original video (self-contained), though sometimes I do let DP export a reference movie.  Final Cut doesn't seem to have any trouble with the .mov files exported from DP either way, and this anomaly doesn't seem to care whether the clips involved were processed by DP or not.
         Disk space, memory, and CPU load are all well within acceptable ranges; and with my previous years of experience as a systems admin, I am well aware of the system impact and ramifications of using internal vs external disks, memory allocation, disk filesystem operating overhead, etc.
    As I've mentioned, this is not a show-stopper, I have a work-around to correct it when it happens.  It's just a bit of a bugger *when* it happens, and I really wish I could work out the root cause of it, so that I can take steps to avoid the problem in the first place.  Any suggestions/insight/help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!  :-)

    Thank you for your response.
    Grr.  I had a nice response ready to post, and apparently the system logged me out and wouldn't let me log in while keeping the text.  I'll condense it a bit, since I've stumbled across some additional points to ponder while typing.
    The clip:
    And the sequence:
    Yes, I see that the clip is 16-bit integer and the sequence supports 32-bit float, but this should not pose a problem since modern digital audio processing up-converts smaller sample formats to larger ones on the fly for processing, and exports whatever format is desired at the end.  If this *was* the problem, I should always be off by a ratio of 2:1 on all audio data, but I'm not.
    Additional notes: the system generally has Firewire, USB, and network mounts (all required for my work), and the internal drive (which *is* 7200RPM) is partitioned into a system and a user area to keep audio and video projects out of the system's disk space.  Most main clips for a project are placed on the internal user space for speed, externals hold auxilliary files (stills, adverts, livetype, etc).
    It was at this point in my previous typing that I began to realise that the anomaly seems to begin in sync with some random livetype object.  It then extends a bit past the livetype object, so it's not locked to that object; and multiple instances of the same livetype object DO NOT result in multiple instances of the audio anomaly; it only hits a single instance; and again it usually cleans up when the audio render files are removed and re-processed.
    This leads me to wonder about a possible odd combination of events/processes on the system, and whether or not FCE handles livetype natively or requires a livetype helper (i.e., another process stuffed into the system table).  This sort of external influence would be a transient sort of event, and therefore could easily be out of the way by the time second render attempt is begun - resulting in the "fix" by removing and re-generating audio render files.
    It makes sense to me, but it's still hypothesis and supposition at this point.

  • Out of order in tpdequeue

    We have an application that has a sequentiality constraint. It seems that when
    we do to tpenqueues within a single transaction, the single process that does
    the tpdequeue sometimes gets the messages in a different order than they were
    actually dequeued. Consider the following pseudo code snippet:
    tpbegin();
    tpenqueue(someqspace, someque,message1);
    tpenqueue(thesameqspace, thesameque,message2);
    tpcommit();
    Can we always expect message1 to be dequeued before message2. assuming that there
    is only one process dequeueing from the queue? If not, why not?

    The queue is a FIFO queue. The verbose output of the queue is as below:
    Queue QRouterS: 0 Persistent Messages using 0 pages.
    0 Nonpersistent Messages using 0 bytes.
    0 Messages in total using 0 bytes.
    Queue order: fifo
    Out of order: none
    Retries: 100
    Delay: 0
    Default delivery policy: persist
    Default expiration time: none
    Threshold Triggers:
    Persistent: 0 - 80 %, Command: null
    Non-persistent: 0 - 100 %, Command:
    Some other points:
    1) There are multiple processes writing to the queue all the time
    2) There are only two processes writing multiple messages to this queue
    at the same time within a transaction.
    3) There is a tmqforward (specially written) on the queue which is peeking
    at
    the queue and if it finds something, dequeues the message after starting
    the transaction.
    4) Emperical data suggests that about 80% of the time the messages (in
    case of
    2 in a transaction) are being read in the reverse order.
    5) We do not set birth times.
    We are unable to duplicate this behaviour in developement.
    Thank you very much in advance for any direction you can point us in.

  • Expected PO Receipts and scheduled out sales orders

    Hi Guys:
    in MRP Net requirements Calculation,
    for Example  If want Consider Schedule out Sales orders( requested Delivery Date 02/02/2012) which is determined by planning horizon( 6 months 06/30/2012) , Since this sales order is within Planning Horizon it will consider for MRP Planning.
    Is it the Same case with PO i.e Based upon the planning horizon PO will be included/excluded in planning?
    Also if for example my PO is due from the Vendor one PO is due in 03/02/2012 and other PO is 09/15/2012?
    Thanks
    Kodali

    Hi Venkat:
    Expected PO receipts that fall within the planning horizon will be excluded or Included in the calculation?
    I think it should be included otherwise you might be placing additional PO's to the vendor?
    Thanks

  • Signature 1330-X: TCP segment out of order - what does it mean?

    Hi,
    on a customer's site, on one of their IPS, I get a lot of sig 1330 alerts, mainly those two:
    1330-12: TCP segment is out of order. If the signature status is set to disabled, the packet will be passed to all engines that are not stream based.
    This signature will not produce an alert in promiscuous mode regardless of the signature status.
    1330-17: TCP segment out of state order. If a packet in a stream causes this signature to produce an alert, processing will cease for that stream. This signature will not produce an alert in promiscuous mode regardless of the signature status
    I'm not sure how to interpret these alerts correctly and/or how to troubleshoot further. Does anyone have an idea?
    Thanks a lot,
    Florian

    Is your sensor monitoring more than one network segment?
    If so then these alarms are common when a TCP connection crosses both networks and gets seen twice by the sensor.
    This can confuse the sensor's tracking of the connection.
    A common scenario is to have the sensor monitor both the Inside network or a firewall as well as the DMZ. When an internal user connects to the company's web server the traffic gets seen by the sensor both on the Inside network and in the DMZ. The sensor tries to put the packets from both networks together in order to try and monitor it as a single connection. Because the packets get modified by the firewall it often results in inconsitency between traffic on the 2 sides and causes the sensor to be confused about the connection.
    The good news is that if this is your problem, then there are 2 easy workarounds.
    1) If your sensor supports virtual sensors, then create a second virtual sensor. Assign one network to default vs0, and assign the other network to the new virtual sensor. This way each virtual sensor sees traffic on just one of the networks and won't become confused.
    2) If your sensor does not support additional virtual sensors, or you've used up all 4 virtual sensors, then there is a configuration option within the virtual sensor configuration itself:
    Inline TCP Session Tracking Mode
    By default it is set to Virtual Sensor which is why it tries to put together packets from both networks to try and look at is a single connection and gets confused.
    BUT it can also be set to Interface and Vlan. This configuration allows the virtual sensor to treat the traffic on each network independantly. The connection on the first network will be monitored independant of the connection on the second network. This will prevent the virtual sensor from getting confused.
    The above is just my guess at what is going on in your network based on what we've seen on other networks. If this doesn't address the reason for the signature triggerings, then please respond back with more information about your network.
    It is possible that these could be a hacker trying to avoid detection by the sensor, but more likely something in your deployment is confusing the sensor.

  • Skype Messages Out Of Order.

    This has for some reason only started within the past few hours, and i have never experienced this issue in the past, for some reason while sending messages they are out of order and look something like this:
    Them: Message #8
    Them message #10
    Me: Message #1
    Them: Message #6 appears here.
    Them: Message #2
    Them: Message #4 appears here.
    Me: Message #3
    Me: Message #5
    Me: Message #7
    Me: Message #9
    Makes it impossible to have a conversation as i have to scan over dozens of messages to try to find a new one that has all of a sudden appeared, i have tried searching for solutions and the only one i found was "Sync time and date" i have updated my time and date to make sure but they were never out of sync to begin with.
    Cheers, Nick.

  • One track played out of order

    I've noticed this problem since one of the last updates: I have my settings on shuffle by album and the albums normally play from 1 to the end. However, certain albums skip a track in the middle and play it last. ex. 1-4, 6-10, 5 (My Morning Jacket, Z) It doesn't do this with every album, but quite a few. I've messed with the settings and album info, but can't find anything that would explain why it does this. And it does it on both my mac and PC...
    I'd appreciate any suggestions!
    mac book and dell   Mac OS X (10.4.9)

    Alright- figured it out.  Each out of order track had an "album artist" filled in (a field under artist when you click "Get info) and the others just just had "artist" filled in.  By filling in an "album artist" on all the tracks in addition to the already filled in "artist" field, I got them to arrange themselves properly in the album order.  I assume blanking out the "album artist" field on the tracks that had it also might have worked.  I think the key is making sure all the meta-data is exactly the same.
    Just posting this for the sake of anyone googling for answers to the same issue.

    Hi brittany097,
    Welcome to the Support Community!
    The following KB article should provide more information on the error message you receiving. "Network out of order error message received when sending an SMS message" http://bbry.lv/GGTq5j
    Hope this helps.

  • TA25179 my text messages are coming through out of order and i have checked the time setting and the software version. Everything is up to date! Very frustrating... any other suggestions?

    My text messages are coming through out of order! I have checked the software and the time setting is on automatic!! Very frustrating... any other advice??

    When reception allows the iPhone sends and receives the messages, this is also dependent on the reception of the other phone you are communicating with. If you really feel you have a problem, contact your Carrier about the problem.

  • Chat Bubbles Out of Order

    I can recieve iMessages on Messages on my MacBook Pro however sometimes they are out of order. By this I mean, I will have a message dated 9:00AM then one at 9:05AM then on at 9:03AM. They are not in chronoligical order. Anyone else have this issue or know of a fix?
    Thanks

    HI,
    Sorry that no-one has got back to you on this.
    It does seem that if a computer (Messages Beta) is Off line from a while that when it is back On-line Messages is very slow to Sync (IMs play out like a chat but slightly speeded up).
    In addition to that they don't seem to arrive in order  (longer paragraphs and those with Files or Pics in them seem to arrive out of sequence - like the smaller lighter ones sneak past them)
    At present there is no known workaround for this

  • Left- and right arrow key out of order

    Hi,
    I'm afraid to need your help again. My left and right arrow keys doesn't work as they're supposed to. While can neither navigate through my desktop icons nor the buttons in any dialog nor the text I'm just writing. The cursor stops blinking as soon as I press one of these keys so the system recognizes the key press but the cursor doesn't move. Showkey returns the keycodes 105 left and 106 for the right arrow key.
    While logging in with LXDM im able to navigate back and foth while entering my password as well as the keys work properly in tty. It seems to be only LXDE, where the keys are not working.
    Furthermore my function keys like mute, volume up and down and so on aren't working too. I don't know if both errors are relatet to another.
    Maybe anyone has an idea what I might do to fix this?

    I think I use lxdm to log in. As soon as I'm logged in, I'm using lxde. Ist this what you have to know?
    no, you have to know it.
    i meant: when you login with lxdm, do you have a choice between lxde-session and openbox-session (or sth similar) because there's a difference how openbox gets started and which config files are parsed.
    It's an lxde-session. And LXDE uses openbox-lxde as displaymanager.

    ondoho wrote:once you isolate the proper rc.xml, you can check it for typos that might cause this. they are not always reported back as errors.
    The part of the rc.xml I posted beforehand is the only one in that file that is tagged with <keyboard> and there is no binding for the left or right arrow key. There are some in combination with the control or shift key but that shouldn't do anything regarding my problem.

    Absolutely.
    Steff435 wrote:What do you mean with "the text I'm just typing"? You can't move the text cursor in the textbox in your browser using the keys?
    Yes, exactly.
    Steff432 wrote:I don't use lxdm, but I guess that doesn't use the default Gtk text entry widget, while most Gtk-based browsers as far as I know do, so it might be related to Gtk in some way. Or do you use a Qt browser? Have you tried the keys in non-Gtk software?
    I use firefox which is, as far as I know, Gtk-based. But I installed QupZilla and gabe it a try. Unfortunatelly the same error shows up there.
    I don't know if I'm right but lxde should be gtk-based itself and running a non-Gtk software in gtk-based lxde would show up the same gtk-errors to, wouldn't it? So eventually I'd have to try a non-Gtk software in a non-Gtk desktop environment in order to check whether the error doesn't show up under non-gtk software?
