BH-940 Purity Pro disconnects on Windows 8

On Windows 8 I got the Purity Pro connected easily and fine via Bluetooth. I have one major problem though: Once I have played some audio (or video) and stop it (or it ends alone) and after a break start something else the Purity Pro disconnects in the exact same moment I start some other audio source playing. This doesn't always happen. But mostly, sometimes on every single audio start and then suddenly not for 10 more plays and then again on each single play.
So for example. I turn the Purity Pro on, it connects fine to Windows 8 because it has been paired. I watch one video on Youtube (first one works). After the first is over I try watching another one and on start the headphones are disconnected and I have to go to the sound settings to connect them again or have to turn them off and back on again.
I have another Bluetooth headset from Sony that doesn't show the same behavior on the same Windows 8 Ultrabook with an Intel Bluetooth chip. So I guess it must have something to do with the Purity Pro. On Android I haven't seen this behavior yet.
Please help me! It is very uncomfortable to use the Purity Pro like this and it would be a petty if I had to return it because of this.

I was able to fix it myself. Windows 8 seems to handle drivers wrong somehow. I uninstalled all Wireless and Bluetooth Intel software and the Intel Bluetooth drivers and restarted Windows. Then Bluetooth showed a Microsoft driver to be installed but the problem still appeared. I also uninstalled this one as well and restarted. After the restart Bluetooth was still working but the problem was still there. So I unpaired the Purity Pro and restarted. After the restart it was paired again and the problem was still there. I unpaired again and restarted. Then the Purity Pro was gone, I paired it again, et voilà! Now it is working fine!
I don't know what actually fixed it, but just uninstall and unpair and and restart as long as possible seems to fix this problem if anyone ever runs into this.

I purchased a Nokia Purity Pro (BH-940) from Amazon, and it was dispatched on 13th June, 2013. The multifunction button, as at now, doesn't work anymore, nor does the microphone.
Are there any known similar issues and can solutions be proferred?

I visited the authorised Nokia care agent (Al-Haddad) in my area, but they claim they cannot do anything because it didn't come with a warranty card. Amazon never provided a warranty card with the product. I have searched everywhere in the packaging. The only semblance to a warranty assurance is a line of text written in the user manual that says this product is covered by a 2 year warranty.
Nokia Care Warranty can only be declared valid for devices acquired within the same country (locally-issued Nokia product). I advise contacting Amazon as they have a better stand on giving you a favourable option regarding your case.

  • BH-940 Purity Pro Voice sound problem

I purchased the BH-940 to be used as a headset in order to avoid office noice when I speak to customers. The problem is that my own voice does not go to the speakers and, because of the sound reduction and the tight ear pads, my voice coming from the room is very low. To put it short - I can't hear my selv very well when I speak.
Is it possible to boost the microphone sound transmission to the speakers in some way?

Alright, I have tried EVERYTHING and I solved it I think. At least it worked for me. It was quite tricky.
    1. Connect the headphones with the a USB-charger and the 3.5mm cable.
    2. Unfold up only ONE of the headphonerspeaker. Take a pen and push the little square button in the hinge of the headphone speaker (the one who is not folded). Make sure the little LED that tells you the battery charge level flashes (either green or yellow, if its red you need to charge the headphones) for about 10 sec.
    3. Now browse to the Lumia 920's settings and choose bluetooth.
    4. When the Purity Pro is shown in the bluetooth list try to connect. You will revieve a message that it wont connect. This is "normal" in this case.
    5. Now the tricky part:
Try to connect your purity pro within your lumia and simultainously hold the <bluetooth button> + <multifunktion button> and pull out the 3.5mm cable. (the nose at the phone, both hands on the headphones and use your teeths to pull out the 3.5mm cable...)  This should be done while you have only one headphone speaker unfolded. If it works the speaker-prompt should be heared and your charger LED should flash (either in yellow or green).
    6. Now fold both of the headphone speakers.
    7. Pull out the USB-charger.
    8. Unfold them and it should be up and running.
Note: This is most likely, not the correct procedure... but this was how I did it and it worked. Feel free to make it easier...

  • Connect Nokia Purity Pro BH-940 wireless headphone...

I am looking to get the Purity Pro wireless headphones and was wondering if anyone knows of a way to connect these to your TV/stereo/xbox etc using bluetooth so you can watch tv at night etc without disturbing anyone?
I believe i will need a bluetooth transmitter with apt-X, does anybody know of one that works?
Does the Nokia MD-310 bluetooth reciever work as a transmitter in this way as well?

    >Does the Nokia MD-310 bluetooth reciever work as a transmitter in this way as well?
    Nope, it's a receiver.
    >i will need a bluetooth transmitter with apt-X
If you need superior sound quality then look for apt-x, yeah. For still decent audio quality look for any bt-transmitter, bh-940 supports old bt codecs too.

  • HP Pro 3125 MT - Windows 7 Enterprise 64. Sound is not working.

HP Pro 3125 MT - Windows 7 64 bit. I've installed the audio driver SP51083 as suggested by HP (here).
As soon as I installed them the sound is not working anymore. The sound card is seen by the control panel, and everything seems to be correct (the system even detect when a jack plug is connected or disconnected to the audio card), but no sound come out from the speakers. I just hear a soft buzz.
I couldn't rollback, so I tried to uninstall drivers and install Realtek ones (here)
    Same result.
Note: speakers are working ( if I plug them to another computer they works witout problems). However even headphones are recognized by the Realtek panel, when connected, but the output is, also in this case, always a buzz.
    Any idea? Thank you.

    Hi:
Did you try uninstalling the entire audio device?
Right click on the device and select uninstall, and check the box that says uninstall drivers. reboot and see what happens.
Then if the audio doesn't automatically install,  you can try manually reinstalling the driver by browing to the installation folder that was created when you extracted the driver.
Click on the audio driver in the device manager. Click on the driver tab. Click on update driver and browse to the driver folder that was created. The HP driver would be found in C:\SWSETUP\sp51083.
If none of that works, maybe someone else has another idea you can try.
When I am confounded by issues like this, I reinstall the OS, applications notwithstanding.
I look at it this way. I can spend hours getting nowhere, or I can bite the bullet and get my PC back up and running. Then I know not to install a program or driver the next time that killed a function of my PC.

  • Wireless Charging on Purity Pro

I am in the market for wireless headphones and I know that the new windows/lumia system and accessories are all doing the wireless charging. This doesn't seem to be the case for the wireless purity pro. Correct me if I'm wrong but this seems to be a grave oversight by someone at Monster and/or Nokia. If there is wireless charging please let me know. If there is no wireless charging, who do I have to...contact to make this happen.

    Hi LamboMong,
    just try this:
    http://refit.sourceforge.net
install, reboot twice and choose the Windows-Partition on next startup.
(The apple-bootloader doesn't display all bootable harddisks.
With rEFIt you can boot from all partitions/harddisks on your computer.)
I hope that will solve your problem.

  • MacBook Pro Core i7 + Windows 7 Bootcamp issues

I recently bought a brand new MacBook Pro Core i7 2.66Ghz with 8GB Ram and 500GB 7200rpm HD and Hi-Res display.
When I received it, I updated all Mac OS X software via software update.
I then created a 70GB Bootcamp partition to install a new full copy of Window 7 Ultimate.
I started with the 64bit version of Win 7, but as has been noted here there are some issues with the driver packages and even after managing to get the 64bit version of the Bootcamp 3.1 driver package update to install in Windows (having first installed Bootcamp 3.0 drivers), the wireless driver would not install or work, nor would the NVidia driver, so I had a very odd display aspect and low res support. There may well have been other drivers not working either, but these two really stood out.
Despite the Bootcamp 3.1 driver package apparently being installed (as reported by "About Bootcamp", the 3.1 package was still being offered to me in Apple Software Update. I tried to install again, and again it still showed as being available to install. Obviously some issue's here.
So I decided to try the Windows 7 32bit edition instead, as I don't necessarily need the 64bit version to run the Windows apps I need.
I deleted the Bootcamp partition and started again. I ended up in the exact same situation with Windows 7 32bit as I had done with Windows 7 64bit - wireless device without a driver, NVidia drivers not installed. This time I had used the Bootcamp 32bit driver packages.
In the end I've opted to just install it via VMware as a pure virtual machine. This works fine, but for what I do in Windows, I prefer to have a Bootcamp setup.
Is there a general issue with the new MacBook Pro's and Windows 7 despite Apple releasing updated driver packages? Do these new driver packages handle the dual GPU setup properly?
I have read a number of "How to's..." for installing Windows 7 on the a MacBook Pro, but none have been successful for me. Am I wasting my time for now and need to wait for Apple to update Bootcamp for the 2010 MacBook Pro's, or am I just missing something in the way I'm doing this? I can't believe it shouldn't be this hard?

Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 on my brand new 15" MBP right now.
The only problem I'm having is the USB controller issue that is reported in the following thread:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2411685&start=30&tstart=0
I ran the Boot Camp assistant, made the partition, rebooted with my 7 DVD, formatted the partition, performed a clean installation, & then installed the drivers from the OSX DVD when Windows booted the first time.
Replaced the NVIDIA drivers with the latest Verde release. 258.96notebook_winvista_win7_64bit_internationalwhql.exe
Everything seems to be running just fine at this point.

  • MacBook Pro crashes on Windows 7 Boot

    Hey,
I just bought a new 2010 13 inch macbook pro, and installed Windows 7 on it. When I boot Windows 7 I can use it for like 20 seconds and then later the mouse cursor gets stuck and nothing works. Both the keyboard and the mouse both dont respond to anything I do.
Just worth mentioning: I installed all the updates before installing Windows 7 and installed the windows 7 drivers after the installation finished.

So just to be sure, you have the Apple BootCamp control panel and other devices.
    You checked device manager.
Might want to run msconig and for me, I disable and uninstall what I don't want running and don't use (Bonjour, MobileMe, etc).
Your OEM DVD is newer than the Boot Camp 3.1, so if you did install 3.1 I would suspect it is at fault.
Mouse and keyboard seem to (again) be common complaints. Also graphic drivers.
Make sure you have room for and using System Restore points and can "roll back" and driver update you made.

  • PIXMA Pro-100 and Windows 8.1 Help Please....

    Hello,
I will try to be concise
Spent all day on the phone for this without the same answer twice *sigh*.
I have been told and I have read over and over that YES, the Pro-100 WILL absolutely work with Windows 8.1.
Then...I find out that it's possible that it will NOT work unless I have 8.1 Pro Pack.
    Is this true?
IOW...Is there anyone using the PIXMA Pro-100 with Windows 8.1 *without *Pro Pack just fine?
I ordered the printer yesterday before being told about this, and need to know if I have to cancel my order before it ships.
Thank you very much for any and all help.

    Sherri,
I have been using the Pro-100 along with three of the printers it has replaced, the 9000, 9500 and 9500 II since Win 8.1 came out.  They all work and work well with WIndoze 8 or 8.1.  I use Photoshop and Lightroom so the OS really doesn't matter.  If you do not have either of these, I will suggest you check into Photoshop Elements as an option.
With one of these mentioned programs you do not need any thing additional.  Including the Canon software that comes with the Pro-100.  But a couple of Canon's software is pretty good like the printing on a DVD.  But PS, or PSE, is where it at for photos that are possibile by the Pro-100.

  • Using Migration Assistant to move files from old PC laptop to new MacBook Pro that has Windows 8 installed containing Outlook

When using Migration Assistant to move files from old PC laptop to new MacBook Pro, that has Windows 8 installed containing Outlook, will emails, contacts and calendar entries be moved to Outlook on the new MacBook or into Mail, Contacts and Calendar?

I doubt they will. But then I'm not sure as I used a migration program once about 18 years ago and totally FUBARed the system I had at that time and I've never used one again.
For me the reason to have a new system is to start fresh. Installing only program that I now use and manually copying data over from the older system.
Not sure your older version of Outlook, and the outlook mail boxes, are compatible with Office/Outlook for Mac 2011.
A better place to ask this question would be on the MS Office for Mac forums.
Hope it all works out for you.

    Hi Eric,
It seems to be the upgrade self-test fails.
For testing Windows 10, you may consider take use of Hyper-V and install a VM of Windows 10:

    Or try a dual boot:

  • X-fi elite Pro Driver for Windows 7 64bit

)X-fi elite Pro Driver for Windows 7 64bitH Hi all
I've read in the past and toady some topics about the x-fi drivers and windows 7.
Due to the fact, that I want to install win7 64bit in the next few days, i just want to know which drivers I should use for my Elite Pro.
Currently I'm using XP and got no problems with the drivers yet, everything could be installed with the cd from my elite pro package.
So as far as I understood the topics correct, there are 3 option which drivers i could use:
. Orignal Creative windows 7 driver
    2. Daniel_k support pack
    3. Pax drivers
Can anyone tell me the advantages or disadvantages of these drivers? Important for me are the "gaming" utilities and THX for my 7. Teufel system.
Which dirvers should i use and work without problems?

    - i have? windows 7? 64 bit
