BIBeans on WinNT - killer of previously working OLAP samples?

I installed JDeveloper 9i RC and BiBeans RC. I applied all the latest OLAP patches and started working on BiBeans tutorial. I installed the demo database bibdemo schema and started creating OLAP connection required by Designer wizard. As other people already posted, the connection won't work until upcoming OLAP Patch for WinNT/2000.
So I tried to go back to my previously working OLAP samples (generated from OLN OLAP API Fundamentals class) and noticed that they didn't work any more.
Here is the output of the sample program:

The line that generates the exception is:
MdmSchema root = mdp.getRootSchema();
I noticed that installing BIBDEMO sample schema removed the old SH measures and cubes. I tried changing the user/pwd from SH to BIBDEMO and got the same error.
What's causing the problem. Can I easily undo the BIBDEMO changes and make the OLAP API samples work again. Or am I stuck waiting for the upcoming OLAP Patch?

Can you tell us exactly what you did?
What versions of the Beans and Oracle9i OLAP did you have first?
What version of the OLAP patch did you install?
What OS are you using? I initially installed Oracle 9i Database for MS Windows NT/2000 from CD-ROM (version 9.0.1). I have also installed JDeveloper 3.2.3 from an accompanying CD-ROM. I don't remember if BI Beans existed in that release, probably not.
Then I downloaded JDeveloper 9i RC and BIBeans AddIn for JDeveloper. I installed the following patches:
- Oracle9i Patch Set Version 9.0.1.2.0,
- Oracle OLAP Release 1 Patch Set Version 9.0.1.1.1,
- Oracle OLAP Best Practices for Cube Aggregation and Query Operations Release 1 (9.0.1) for Windows and UNIX, Part Number A92122-01,
- XADEMO.BAT for Oracle OLAP.
I'm using Windows NT 4 with SP 6a.
I have also re-installed the SH_CAT schema as you suggested in the other note, but that didn't make the problem go away. I'm still getting MetadataNotFoundException when calling mdp.getRootSchema().

Pavilion g6-1b70us. Picture but no sound from tv when using HDMI. Previously worked no problem.

I have a pavilion g6-1b70us that I am trying to hook up to my tv with an hdmi cable. I get a picture, but no sound. This previously worked with no problem. When I pull up my sound playback settings the only options are speakers and headphones. When I pull up my devices, the Samsung tv is there, but is described as a "generic monitor" (thought that was weird). I have uninstalled and reinstalled my intel graphics driver and IDC audio driver but still no sound through TV. Also, I will mention that in under control panel>devices and sounds there is a link to SRS Premium Sound. As you can see in the picture below, the Samsung device shows up, but it is grayed out and cannot be selected. Can someone please help?

Well in case anyone is interested I fixed the issue (only took me 12 hours to figure out, lol). Apparently even though the Samsung tv was not appearing in the sound playback options, you can still right click in the blank area and an enable/disable option will appear.

How to get the last(latest or previous) working day

using sysdate we may be getting today's date and sysdate-1 will be fetching the yesterday's date. but if sysdate-1 turns to be sunday or a holiday then we need to get the previous date to that holiday date .THe list of holidays are in lt_list_holidays. The Holiday date shall be the holiday_date column. I need a query which displays the last (latest or previous) working day ..
Please advice

How to revert back previous working files in InDesign CS6?

I have suddenly replace wrong working files, how to revert back previous working files in InDesign CS 6?

This feature does not exist in InDesign. You're best hope is that you have a backup of the previous file. Moving forward, you might want to try a free product called Radish that allows you to save versions and revert back to previous versions when needed. All nee AI files are based on document profiles, which are actually plain AI files.
Print.ai is one of them. You may try and select a different profile to see if it's just the Print.ai
But it may of course be all of them that somehow got corrupt.
Could be that the files are corrupt or that Illustrator doesn't have access privileges.
The files are located in your user folder. Find the exact location in this article:

In case the files are completely corrupt you may try and rebuild the preferences or even do a complete reinstall.

If a user opens a work-item in the UWL, closes the browser window, and then opens another item on the UWL list, the new window still pops up the details of the previous work item. I tried looking at the cache parameters but with no luck.
The undesirable workaround to the above problem is to refresh the page every minute via the parameter refresh="60" in the uwl.standard file in the
View name= DefaultView

As far as showing the name of the previous processor in the UWL is concerned, i believe its not possible, as Harsimran says. But there can be various workarounds.
One is that in the second action of the process, you can give a text area or some input field in the callable object; the second processor can write something in this field, and this field can then be mapped to third screen, which tells the 3rd processor that it has been reviewed.
Another neat solution is that, make a callable object of type:
User Management -> Read User Information
This callable object extracts the user information from the user who has logged into the portal and returns a lot of other information like firstname, lastname etc as output parameters. You can map these parameters to your third action and use it to display some message, say:
The review has been done by <FirstName>

Error 200617 on every usage of NI PXI-5610 that was previously working

I have been trying to use the NI PXI-5610 RF upconverter (associated with a NI PXI-5441) with VIs that were previously working, including the NI GPS toolkit and RFSG example VIs. However, with the same setups as were working previously and the examples every time I now receive the following error

Measurements: Output generation was aborted by the reverse
power protection circuitry of the device. Either the output signal exceeded the
output power limit, or power was being driven back into the output of the device
by an external source. Correct the problem, then generate the signal

I have tried restarting, allowing 30 minutes warmup time before trying to use the RFSG and ensuring that the chassis fans are set to high with no change in the result.
I have also tried doing a self test on the RFSG unit in MAX which fails with error 200020.

Ok, well we can take the first steps via this forum post. If we need to RMA the PXI-board we can follow up on the created service request.
First I want to start troubleshooting the Self Test error.
I have attached a application which goes through all of the tests separately so we can determine where this error is coming from. Please run all of the test provide by this application.

Installing a previously working live 5.1 card in a new PC

I have a li've 5. card and a Li've dri've (in fact I have 2 of each), both previously working in other machines of the pre multi-core era under XP pro.
I have just built a new machine with a multi-core processor and have stuck with win? XP pro.
I have now tried drivers that came on the CD with the card, the set that were working on the previous machines and the latest set downloaded from the creative site.
I did have a problem that the card had not inserted properly due to the metal backplate being a tad short and have now bent it to make it fit properly. I have since tried the other card also (not got round to fitting the li've dri'ves yet.
The cards (both of them) act in the same way. They pass ALL the driver/card diagnostic tests. However they only produce sound from "midi"(using the keyboard software), but not "wave" (eg windows alerts/EAX animation)?or "CD" options. . They are set to 4 speakers and produce midi sound from both the front and rear sockets.
Suggestions please!!
!!! Curiously the midi output when I used keyboard software with the previously working driver installation was a piano. When i installed the latest driver the output was a drum (suggesting the latest soundfont is screwed up)

=I am answering my own question. Cards now working fully. To get this to happen required:-
Reinstalling drivers but avoiding some of the software - n particular Play centre and Launcher
Moving the card to a PCI slot which doesn't share an IRQ, before this the function of the card was patchy, sometimes it deli'vered sound, sometimes it didn't. Also it showed obvious clashes with the video card software - this was the card sharing the IRQ
