Why are you posting in this forum about what occured with an independent service provider? How is is at all relevant to Apple?? In fact, service by any person or business not authorized by Apple voids any waranty.

So a while so my iPod screen has randomly striped working. I've tried everything. Restoring didn't help one bit and I don't have enough money to go in and get it looked at and get it fixed. I have talked to an apple professional and he was telling me it was a hardware issue. I was hoping I could do something on my open to fix it. Sure sounds like a hardware problem to me. Not really anything you can do since I suspect it is a problem with the logic board, the most expensive part of the iPod.
Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for $19 for 64 GB 4G and $99 for the other 4Gs. They do not fix yours.

IMessage has randomly stopped working on my Macbook Pro, what can I do?
My iMessage on my macbook pro has stopped working. I can log in just fine and I have logged out and back in but still cannot send or receive messages. It worked just fine at my house and last year at college but for whatever reason it has stopped working now. What can I do to fix this?
I keep everything up to date and currently have no updates ready at this time.
I also cannot currently FaceTime from my computer either, but both of these work just fine on my iPhone 5 which is connected to the same wifi.Right now the best thing to do is be patient. The last six days many people have been reporting problems with FaceTime. The source of the problems remains unknown.

Since about a month now my iphone 4 text/alert tones, Keypad and lock tones and also the music are no longer working. It is not onTone 'None'. When someone calls me it rings no problem but no other sunds seem to work. It only vibrates.
If I go onto itunes from my phone it also doesnt play the clips of music. Has anyone else had this? I have reset, restored, updated and nothing has worked or helped.No the mute button isnt on as it still rings for calls.
Mine is since that update aswell, I have been blaming that but just wasnt 100% sure. There was an update this week but hasnt sorted it. Im a 4hr drive from nearest apple store so really trying to avoid having to send it away/go to a store with it. -
I used firefox when I turned my computer on. Played a few games on facebook and got off firefox..... forgot do check my email 10 mins later and firefox wouldn't work. It has done this many time before but I just would restart my computer and it would start working.... I did just that and when I click the icon at the bottom of my desktop the firefox emblem lights up and the blue circle starts to turn for about 5 seconds and then the circle disappears and the emblem fades and nothing ever happens... I uninstalled it and went to the webpage and downloaded the newest one and reinstalled it and still the same problem... not sure what is happening and im sure i lost all my cookies and bookmarks but i just want firefox to start working again...........................................

Ethernet Port randomly stopped working - u310 ultrabook

So my Ethernet Port on the u310 Ideapad has randomly stopped working - by that I mean that when I plug in my LAN wire, the lights will show only when I switch on my laptop, till the Windows logo comes on, which is when the lights of the port go off and the port refuses to work.

thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Based from your post there is apossibility that it it could be hardware. But however before we confirm let just trya few setting and software adjustment first. At this point I was just wondering if you have tried doing a software update, I would suggest you to uninstall the current drivers you have now and reinstall the drivers below.

Plug it into the charger/wall socket and let it charge for at least an hour. It just might start charging. If you have already tried charging it for a fair amount of time and it didn't work, try restoring the device with iTunes.

Sound works fine on all programs, but has suddenly stopped on Apple Mail. No "submarine" sound when I send or receive email. I checked the settings in "Preferences" in Apple Mail and it is set to "submarine" as the sound. Any help?
deleted previously imported key chain originated from the previous system (why doesn't apple provide a migration for my key chain?). after the deletion mail can receive and send again and dreamweaver starts without hanging.

Sound randomly stops working on Iphone 5c
The sound randomly will stop working. (ringers, audio, etc.) I have had this phone for one day.
Oddly enough, the same thing was going on with my iphone 5 which is a big reason I went and upgraded, now i am just very aggravated!
Anyone know what could be going on??I have the same problem with my new 5c, seemingly carried over from when I upgraded from my old 3s that had the same problem - all sounds randomly stop working (although vibrate seems to still work) and then randomly start working again.
When you set up your new phone did you 'restore' from your old phone's back-up or set it up completely like a new phone? I did the former so I assume whatever the 'glitch' is, it may be something to do with that.
I called 1-800-MYIPHONE and was advised to do a hard reset - I questioned the point of that when I effectively started from scratch with my new phone only a few weeks ago (well, when I say from scratch I of course mean I 'restored' from my old phone's back-up so that all my stuff would carry over...), plus given the coincidence of having the same problem on my old phone... Next guidance was to restore the phone to factory settings and start over from 'new phone' status, which I did this afternoon... so far so good but we shall see. I am working on some books that I have had no problem creating in Indesign and this week, I was doing something and got an error message and had the program crash while I was working on something and lose my unsaved work. It happens all of a sudden and has been frustrating. Thought it was an installation issue, but this also happens on the newest version of CS6.
The original files (“books”) were created in CS4.
What I’m doing is copying a template for the appendix that was established in the first book into all subsequent books.
Here is the process that I used on CS4 for the first 10 books –
1. open a file that already has the completed new appendix.
2. Open a file that needs the new appendix
3. Select the appendix pages from the pages menu in the completed file and “move” them to the new file.
4. Voila!
When I started using CS5 this worked for one book. Now the last book is giving me an error message during step 3. So, I select the pages I want to move and click “move” and then I get a message that says “the program has unexpectedly stopped working and will close”. This is the same message I got with CS6.Same problem here. Firefox keeps freezing, sometimes for 5 minutes, then either starts working again really slowly or I get the plug-in error crash. This last time I copied what windows said about the error. This is the info:

My daughters imessage & face time on her ipod touch has suddenly stopped working. The only way i could get it going again was to reset it up with my email address. This will not allow her to send messages to any of her contacts in her addess book. I have tried to set up her email (which she previously used successfully) but it will not allow this it states 'unable to verify email because it is already in use' - anyone any ideas its is driving me mad !!

I recently bought an Ipod touch 2nd gen, (Ebay). It's in great shape and seemed to be wiped clean.
When I connect (via windows computer) to Itunes with usb cord the Ipod icon shows, but the only function you can do is eject. When its in the upper right hand corner and you click on it all you get is a done button, when it's in the side bar right click and your only option is eject, left click has no effect. If I go to "file">devices it's as if there are no devices connected.
I purchased a song with Itunes on the Ipod itself, and it transferred to my library on the computer automatically .
I have an Iphone 5 and a nano that are still functioning with Itunes thru computer so I'm thinking the issue is with the Ipod touch. I've reset it several times, rebooted it, with no change.
