BID Invitation after create is avaiable for all purchase groups

    I need help to solve the follow problem:
    I created a BID using item from a SC, the data is normal, but the BID is visible by all purchase groups.
    I tried fill the field source_rel_ind in table bbp_pdigp with 'X', but the problem persists.

Hello DInesh,
I found a solution for this case using the BADI BBP_AUTHORITY_CHECK, this BADI verify each purchase group of each document and with the control of sy-subrc i can hide de document for the purchaser.

T code to get the detail of release strategies for all purchas groups?

Is there any T ode that i can run a report and get the current details of release strategies for all purchase groups exist at the moment?

from T16FS you can only get which strategy are present.
Which strategy you have can already be seen in the PO or requisition.
But you are looking for the person. this is not really easy, as this can be more than one person.
A strategy has the information what release code is needed.
And this release code is in a role which is then assigned to an approver.
So the only way would be to execute SUIM and then roles by authorization values.
there you enter the authorization object M_EINK_FRG (hit enter) then you have to enter the release group and release code.
Execute. SAP will list all roles that grand the authority to release order with this combination.
in this list you can click another button to see the users that are assigned to this role.

Bid Invitation - How do I know whether Bid Invitation is created from PR

I am trying to implement a BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI and the method is BID_CHANGE. How do I know whether Bid Invitation is created based on PR (Shopping Cart) when I am implementing the above said BADI? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Try to use BBP_PD_BID_GETDETAIL function module.
Check E_HEADER_REL-OBJECT_A = 'BUS2121'. If the field value exists, then the bid document is from shopping cart.

Creating an shortcut for all users on the desktop

I want to create a shortcut for all users on the desktop that will appear for all users that login to the computer. How is this done in Windows 7? In Widows XP this was done at the "All Users" profile, but I cannot find such a profile in Windows 7.

Creating inbound delivery for the purchase order line items

Please let me know how can I create inbound delivery for the purchase order line items? Say, I have a purchase order with 5 line items in it. I wanted to create an inbound delivery for only 2 line items at this point of time. Which SAP Standard transaction I have to use and what all data I need to populate? While creating the inbound delivery (VL31N), intially all the items will be shown, see the advance shipping notfication - from the vendor for which he has send confirmation & rest items you can delete simply & save. & next time when the vendor sends rest advance shipping notifcation (confirmation), you can receive them.

All Purchasing Groups need to be visible to a user

Hi,
I have an instance where an employee should be able to see all purchasing groups in the organisation. At this point of time he can only see purchasing groups in his organisation unit.
Please let me know how would it be possible to see all purchasing groups in the organisation.

Hi Sunny,
The available purchasing groups for the users is determined through the purch. group responsabilities.
To have all the purch groups available for the final users, set the responsability as global for all the groups: To do so add the Org structure Highest node in the org table control in the responsibility tab, and no material group, or generic entry '*'.
A second option is to use the BADI and add all the purch groups as possible entries.
My advice: be carteful, that a default purch group automatically assigned to the SC item is important, because few users will change it. You have to work on that (default determination in the BADI, checks in the BADI change for the SC, ...).

Bid Invitation to create a Contract

Hi Guys,
We are implementing SRM 4.0 (Classic Scenario). Our requirement is to create a RFX through the bidding engine only manually. (Not going through sourcing or external requirements).
I am aware that we cannot manually create a bid invitation for indirect materials as we donot have an account assignment object for indirect materials in the bidding engine and this restricts creation of a PO.
Does the same hold good for creation of contracts for indirect materials or we can create contracts from the bidding engine manually without the cost assignment object problem??
Also creation of bids manually for direct materials should not be a problem as it does not need a cost object assignment (only storage location is a mandatory field).
Please confirm !!!!
Does anybody have the best practices used for the live auction and bidding process in SRM??

Create LOV's for all columns at the time of folder creation

Hi,
I know we can automatically create the LOV's for all the columns of a database table when creating the folder in the EUL. Is this a good practice or should I create LOV's on demand? What is the disadvantage of creating more LOV's than needs to be used other than the disk storage? I also know it is not a good idea to have an LOV on a field that has a lot of values. I am tempted not to create the LOV's in the beginning, but then it becomes a high maintenance issue if I have to come back and create many LOV's later. Thank you for your input.

Yes, it is not a good idea to create LOVs for all the columns. LOVS should be created only for the columns where parameters will be used. More the number of LOVs, slower the response in opening up your Discoverer reports and if you are using Disco Viewer, the page might take a long time to open up and frustrate the users.
Also it is a good practise to have LOVs defined on the lookup tables or where there are distinct values in the table and not from where these values are used in the table.

When I created RAID 5 for hard disks, CIMC shows Modrate fault.
The warring message is
storage virtual drive 0 degraded: please check the storage controller, or reseat the storage drive ucs

The warning message appears if you do not have a Battery BAckup Unit Instllated on the server. I just worked with Cisco TAC and following is the solution.:
1. Launch KVM Console of the server
2. Power Cycle the Server
3. When LSI RAID configuration window displays, press CTRL+H and start the RAID Configuration Utility.
4. Click on Virtual Drive. Example Virtual Drive 0.
5. Change Default Write Mode to "Write Through" and click "Change"
6. Press "Yes" to take the effect.
7. Exit from RAID Configuration Utility nad restart the server.

STO CONFIG:
The following steps have to be followed in order to configure stock transport order
between two plants.
1. Create a vendor for the Company code of the receiving plant using account group 0007
via T-Code XK01.
2. In the purchasing data view assign the supplying plant and the schema group
3. Create customer with the sales area of the vendor.
4. The shipping conditions, the delivering plant and the transportation zone determine the
route in the STO.
5. In the pricing procedure determination relevant to the STO assign document pricing
procedure and customer pricing procedure to get the pricing in the invoice.
6. Maintain condition records for pricing condition.
7. Maintain carrier as a partner in the customer master.
8. In OMGN select the supplying plant and assign the company code and sales area.
Similarly select the receiving plant and assign the company code and sales area (The
company code to which the plant is assigned to).
9. Assign the delivery type and checking rule to the document type.
10. And finally, assign the purchasing document type to the supplying plant and the
receiving plant.
11. Create the STO using T-Code ME 21N and save.
12. Check for release strategy if any and release using T-Code ME 28.
13. Create delivery in background using VL10G.
14. If delivery is created, it is an indication of correct configuration and master data
creation.
Stock transfer between two plants in deffernet company codes is known as inter company
stock transfer.
Material shoud be maintained in both supplying and receiving plant MM01
Sotck should maintain only in supplying plant MB1C
Create receving plant as a customer in suplying plants company code and sales area
XD01
Assign this customer number in receving plant detials OMGN
Assign supplying sales area in supplying plant details OMGN
Assign delivery tupe NB for in combination of supplying/ receving plants.
Create STO ME21N
As it is normal there in the item details wer should get shipping date i.e customer number
Go for Deliveryy VL10B
Shipping point *****
Select PO go for execute
then select the delivery then go for delvy ............create delvy,,,, delvy nubmer generated.
Goods Issue VL02
Delvy doc **********
Click on picking
enter the picking qty
Click on PGI
in the mean time check in the PO history you will get the details
Goods receipt MIGO
Stock overview the stock will be updated....

Fireworks 8 (mac) creates slice files for all image layers

Hi,
When creating a document with one or more slices with a
rollover behaviour, fireworks exports the
same number of images for the rest of the slices on the
page, even those without a rollover behaviour. For example, if
there is a slice with 4 states (therefore 4 image layers), all the
slices on the page will export 4 images, even if you only require
1. This is very frustrating especially if the page has many slices.
Does anybody else apart from Angel Massa, who I have seen
make a post last year on this subject, have this problem or know
the solution?

You could create the shortcut at one machine, then copy it to the target as part of the logon script. Note also that this line contains an error:
"C:\Users\%userprofile%\Desktop\Org_chart_test.lnk"
It should read:
"%userprofile%\Desktop\Org_chart_test.lnk"
