Big problem w/ HTML DB
Okay, there's a serious problem here. Every single page of my application has been overwritten by the default user login page. When went in to edit the page, all the attributes still looked normal, but when I ran each page, the page that came up was the default user login page with nothing but the username and password fields. I had since created my own login page, so I then deleted the default one that was still part of the application, and now none of my pages will display. Instead I get this error message:
Error ERR-1016 Application "125" Page "101" not found (requested language="en-us")
Like I said, when looking at the page definition screen for all the different pages, everything appears normal, but when running the actual page, I get this error. Every single page. I have absolutely no idea how this happened, but I don't want to lose this application.
That actually did help. I can see my new login page again now. The problem now, though,is that I can only run the page that is set as the Session Not Valid Page. Do I have to keep resetting this every time I want to run a particular page? This is getting very frustrating. What may have caused this, and how can I avoid it in the future?

YOU ARE WRONG : request.getParameterNames() wants the syntax *name="nameTableDb2" but JSF must use id="nameTableDb2" for "<h:outputText"... So, you can't process datas in a FORM generated with JSF in a Servlet ! Perhaps I have made an error, but really, I wonder which ?

Author ejb is correct in advising you to stay inside JSF for form processing if form processing is what you want to do.
However, I detect another aspect to this post which reminds me of something Marc Andreesen once said when he was trying to get Netscape off the ground: "there's no such thing as bad HTML."
In this case, I interpret ungar's request as a new feature request. Can I phrase it like this?
"Wouldn't it be nice if I could render my nice form with JSF but, in certain cases, when I REALLY know what I'm doing" just post out to a separate servlet? I know that in this case I'll be missing out on all the nice validation, conversion, l10n, i18n, ajax, portlet and other features provided by JSF".
If this is the case, because it really misses the point of JSF, we don't allow it, but we do have an issue filed for it

Please Help : Big problem with applets
Hi,
I have a big problem which I have not been able to figure out. The applet I have enclosed works fine on some computers but not on others .
I am running :
java version "1.3.1_02"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.3.1_02-b02)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.3.1_02-b02, mixed mode)
The applet runs perfectly Ok at university but not on other computers.
The objective of the applet is to display 3 shapes on the screen once. On the university computer it works, however at home and work the 3 shapes are continuously displayed on the screen ( like they are in some infinite loop). I have been struggling with this for days any help would be greatly appreciated.
It would help me if some of you could run this applet and let me know if the shapes are displayed once or if the shapes are continuously updated on the screen ( assuming that the applet window is not resized covered over etc. )

Well. This code is 100% alright, compilation OK. In runtime, no matter what I do, inverting the generic types, modifying interfaces, whatever, the property with the first generic type defined (in this example, oid) will be wrong resolved to java.lang.Object, instead the correct java.lang.Long.

PropertyType class java.lang.ObjectAltering the order of the getter and setter in the source code seems to affect the result of Introspector!!! (ahhhhhhh)

Small problem led to big problem
I had a few contacts that existed on my Centro which did not exist on my desktop. So I contacted the Palm Chat Support. The person who helped me had me perform several things which eventually led to my phone getting stuck in a loop. Things were not getting better so I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor told me the only solution was a hard reset. I finally agreed to this. Now when I reinstall any applications (not third-party) such as calendar or address book, my phone won't come on. I can see the calendar or the address book but when I go to turn on the phone, it goes back into the endless loop. A soft reset will not take it out of the loop, only a hard reset. When I do a hard reset, I then have the ability to use the phone again but I have no data in my calendar, address book, etc. So essentially I have either a PDA or a Phone--but I can't have both. This started as a very small problem (a few missing contacts which I could have probably/should have probably just manually entered into the desktop). Now I have a very big problem, simply b/c of what I was directed to do by Support. Is there any hope?
Post relates to: Centro (AT&T)There could be to issues going on here that you are having this result. One thing could be corrupted data such as your contacts or calendar, the other could be corrupted programs that are coming back from a hotsync.
The first I would like to troubleshoot as it is the easiest. To fix this what we need to do is hard reset your device. The instructions to do that is here http://kb.palm.com/wps/portal/kb/common/article/887_en.html this tells you how to do all types of resets. Also, what we need to do is rename your backup folder. What this folder is, it hold all your programs from the last time you synced your PC. On your computer go here

My Computer--> C drive --> Program files --> Palm/PalmOne--> your hotsync username
Palm Desktop 6.2.2
My Documents/Documents --> Palm OS Desktop --> your hotsync username
Right click on your backup folder and rename it to "backupOld". Resync your device to the same user name and you will get all your contacts, calendar, tasks, and memos.
You can install the programs again but make sure they are compatible with the device. Also try one program again and wait 24 hours to see if the same thing happens again. This way you know what program is causing the issue.

BIG problem! System's folder got deleted. Please help.

I have a quite big problem here. I accidently delete my system's folder out of the macintosh HD. I was going to delete a folder right beside it but it appears that i delete the wrong one. I know, pretty stupid eh. Symptoms are: cannot login to the OS when the computers starts; flashing of "prohibitory sign" during the startup constantly for about a minute and booted up on windows (i have windows installed in my MBP).
I've read so many different apple's articles about this. There is one about archive and install (can be found here http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107120 ). It told me to reInstall the OS. So i followed these steps and stopped when i can't select Preserve users and network settings. I assumed that "preserve users and network" is the option that will keep my files rite? The reason im doing this is because I dont want lose all my files inside. There are so many songs and important files inside and I can't think whats going to happen if I lose all that files.
Any of you guys have suggestion or solution to this riddle? Help is greatly appreciated. Thx a for the attention.Archive and Install will save the old system in a Previous System Folder. It does not delete anything. However, it will not preserve anything that was in your deleted System folder because you deleted it.
A question is how did you empty the Trash? The System folder cannot be deleted unless you authenticate which means you can't delete it 'accidentally.' It's possible the folder is still in the Trash. If that be the case simply open a Finder window on the Trash and drag the System folder back to it's proper location. Of course to do this you will have to be able to start up the computer. If you have a backup system on an external Firewire drive that would do just fine. If not, then you could try to get access to another Mac that supports Firewire. You can then connect the two via Firewire cable. Then boot your computer into Target Disk Mode, then boot the other computer normally. You computer's hard drive will appear on the other computer's Desktop. You can then gain access to the Trash to restore the System folder, assuming you haven't actually emptied the Trash. -
Just updated to itunes 12.1.0.71 - big problem - can no longer access the legacy "Get Info" where you could change multiple files, easily add artwork, add album name for TV show, and much more. In previous iTunes 12 you'd right click and hold shift key and be able to get to it. Anyone figured this out?
The "legacy" metadata editors, for which there was a "back door" in iTunes 12.0, have gone from 12.1. However, the revised editors in 12.1 provide access to (almost) all the metadata elements that were available in iTunes 11, albeit in a different layout and with some additional constraints based on media kind. Some users have / will have an issue with the statement that "Get Info has been completely redesigned in iTunes 12 to focus your attention only on what’s necessary for the selected item" since that removes some metadata elements that people may have been using in creative ways. iTunes 12.1 basically gives you access to the fields that Apple think are necessary ... . Some of the things that have been excluded by this rule:
track and disc number fields for video media kinds
show and episode fields for music
description tab for audiobooks made up of more than one file
Obviously the first two examples can be regarded as "overloading" the metadata elements - i.e., using them in ways that the designers didn't intend - but given that some users do find valid cases for this it's a shame that they've been deprecated in the new UI. There are couple of workarounds:
in songs view (or any of the other columnar views), you can still select any fields to display, independent of media kind, and these can be edited (though only one at a time) by double-clicking in the relevant "cell"
you can (temporarily) change the media kind of an item (or group of items) to get access to metadata elements that would otherwise be inaccessible.
It may be worth submitting an issue via https://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html - I can't see it as a huge development task to have a user preference to switch between "show all fields" and "filter fields based on media kind".
One other oddity/irritation is that some of the tabs don't, by default, show all the available fields - you need to scroll up/down to access them or to expand the window by dragging on one of its corners. Fortunately, the latter seems to be persistent - once you've done this to make all the fields visible the editor will open at the same (larger) size when opened again. -
BIG...BIG PROBLEM After upgrade to 1.0.4
After upgrade ok for XDCAM ISSUE but now PREVIEW Monitor is black. Only some ramdom color noise(like a minimal style-pencil contour of images on timeline with black screen under)
Little preview monitor in Secondary work well. Preview Monitor not work on: Single monitor, dual monitor, full e quarter modality. Is a big..big problem. Apart XDCAM issue before upgrade no problems on Preview MonitorYou might be better off rolling back to 1.0.2. XDCAM HD seemed pretty stable with that version. We use XDCAM HD as our primary acquisition format and have no plans on upgrading Color past 1.0.2 anytime in the near future.
Run a Google search for an app called "FCS Remover". Use that to uninstall Color. Follow the directions on this page for steps on how to reinstall just Color (yes, I know that this link talks about Compressor and QMaster, just substitute those apps with Color).

The problem is; when I past copied text from some pdf books (not all of them) it past symbols only! wherever I past it! and even if I coped that text from another pdf reader (adobe pdf reader, internet browsers, ...etc.).
This problem started to happen since yesterday when I installed adobe acrobat reader XI pro to try it before I buy it, and before that when I was using the free adobe pdf reader I was totally able to copy any text from any pdf and past it anywhere with nothing wrong.

I am having a big problem. I am not getting notifications from snapchat and only snapchat. I've made sure every notification setting was on and it just won't work. How to load an image without a gui? big problems...
Hey guys, I usually try my best to not ask for help and figure stuff out myself. But this last week i've been having big problems with this work project.
My goal is to load images from disk, and append them to each other to create one big image.
The images are 0-9.jpg each file containing a number in it. then i create one big file with 4 numbers in it. called final.jpg.
so far i can do all this, but whenever the program is finished, the application just keeps running. the program has literally gone through all the steps... i have a system.out.println printed on the last line after the main, after the class instantiation... and still it stays running.
how do you guys load images without a gui? This program will probably be running under unix, so i can't create a (for component example)
Panel() and media track the file load... so i'm pretty much stumped
any help you guys can provide would be really incredibly helpfull at this point. I have searched these threads for a few hours without luck. I found only 1 real post related to my problem, but eventually they said use MediaTracker = new Mediatracker( new Panel() ); which i can't use. :(

One Apple ID two phones big problem.

Before 6 months I bought new Iphone 4s,but it was used one day from person who sell it to me, so it already has Apple id.
I deleted user and created my user which was synced with iCloud and worked without any problem.
Before 10 I bought Iphone 5, also created my Apple ID on it and sync with my PC/ iCloud.
Yesterday I want to sell my first Iphone 4 and I did reset ( Erase all content and setting), but it did not want to wake up, so i started it with DFU mode using I tunes, and I did restore and update.
Now I am facing to bit problem, on the begging steps it says something like "this apple id cannot be used to unlock this iphone".
If I go to iCloud I can see only one device and currently its new iPhone 5, but both devices called with same name, so I am not sure is this problem.
So I have two doubts:
- I am not sure does SIM card can make this problem(on initiation phase you have to put sim in Iphone), because main is much smaller now so I using my wife SIM to finis registration Iphone 4 (iPhone 5 using smaller than iPhone4)?
- another thing It says you have to "use original apple id..", like I sad on the beginning when i bought Iphone4 it already has apple id on it, which I was deleted and configure main (afterwards this device was visible on my iCloud). So do I need to put first creaded apple id, does iPhone remembering first created or last used. If yes I have big problem because I dont have contact of user who sell it to me.
I want to add one thing, Iphone is not stolen I have warranty documentations and all profs that is not stolen.
PLEASE HELP, in my country we have awful support !Just left the Apple store with an official answer. You can have two phones one Apple ID, turn off auto updates so you don't automatically get apps on both phones. Then you need two different iCloud accounts.
