Bill reduction for all Vision users

it is well documented on this forum and even agreed by the BT techies on the phone, that Vision is suffering terribly since the upgrade, picture issues, sound issues, freezing and loss of service. BT are well aware of the issues and two months ago told me that it would be resolved promptly
Last week i rang the Indian techies again beacause of yet more Vision faults, this time to be told that they had no idea how long the BT Vision service would be compromised.
so come on BT, how much are you going to give to Us Vision users in compensation for a failing service?????
I think BT will lose customers from this and they rightly deserve to, they are very apathetic

Why wouild they give a bill reduction for all Vision users when only a small minority are affected?
I have had BT Vision for years and never had one problem and now on the new software it a great improvement over the old version.

    In Firefox 4 the template folder for new profiles (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\profile\
    ) doesn't exist. You can create that \defaults\profile\ folder and place a file user.js in it with the prefs that you want to initialize.

    I have MS SQL 2012 server with Reporting Services and it work via link:

    In LAN all work fine, but I want publish this resource via ISA for All Authenticated Users.
    When in publish rule I configure (in Condition) "All users" - all work fine, but when I configure "All Authenticated Users" - I have trouble on web form on

    I can't use "All Users", because it's not secure.

    All users or applications who request access to report server content or operations must be authenticated using the authentication type configured on the report server before access is allowed. The AuthenticationType named RSWindowsNegotiate is supported

                  I have one query regarding the fields details in particular form for all the users in company.
    Let take an exapmle if i had created Purchase Order having fields in content tab as 1.Item No. 2.Quantity 3.Unit Proce   4.Total   5. Location.
    While Login in User manager i set these fields only for Purchase order , but when i login from other user and open the similar purchase order the defaults fields are also seen including  above 4 fieds .
    Now my question is how to set the User choice fiels for the particular form that are common to all users.
    Means whenever i login in any user and opens the same document the same fields should be seen....Thanksssss.........

    You have to login with each and every user and do the Form Settings of every forms, so that all the forms look same for all the users.
    This is a manual job and you have do do it with every user login.

    The above link is a comprehensive "How to get set up and on my way" that I made for someone else learning Oracle/jdbc. Kind of a self-help resource page. I would start from the beginning and download the newest drivers, then set up your environment,...etc.

    It is possible but it all depends on the type of application .If you want to show same data for all users you can use one user but if data is different for all users then you cannot go with this approach.
    to configure single backend user for your application go to tcode SICF and look for that application and go to logon data tab by double clicking and give one common user details

    Hi Forum,
    In my database (Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0), I have 7 DB schemas.
    There are total existing 50 jobs (usaer_jobs).
    I want to shift them all to scheduler (user_scheduler_jobs).
    My plan is,
    1.     Create schedulers for all existing user jobs.
    2.     Enable all schedulers.
    3.     Disable all jobs.
    Is there any way / method for such shifting? I am ready to this exercise schema wise at a time.
    How to create scripts for creating schedulers from existing jobs?

    You can change the system colors based on the system you are logging on to.  We have many users here doing that. (Red for prod, Green for Dev, etc)  You cannot use the Sap signature Design theme as it does not allow color changing.  I explained this in another post and how to change it.

    Can someone possibly help me to shed some light on a problem I seem to be having with my image?  Here is the scenario:
    I installed Windows 7 x64 SP1 with Office 2013 on a VM-Patched up to date as of the composition of this message.
    I created a "Student" account, all I did was launch office and IE-Nothing really out of the ordinary.
    I then renamed Default to Default.bak and copied the Student profile to Default.
    Joined to the domain.
    Restarted, and logged in and now I have a black desktop, no wall paper or anything.  It is set on Windows Basic, 
    I can go in and select any other theme and it the problem is fixed.  BUT, this will be an issue for all new users.

    My db is oracle ,                           the oracle host name is dbserver.
    The sap ap server only install the SAP. SAP host name is apserver.
    Just now i've altered all the password of the oracle database db user account, Include the account "sys".
    (I must alter the password.)
    Now the SAP service in the host "apserver" can't boot.
    Could you teach me  how can i config the "apserver" to make the SAP normal boot ?

  • How do I permanently STOP the Bing Suggested Sites icon from being in the IE 9 toolbar for everyone and make it the default for all new users

    Non of the other post on this subject were correctly answered and they are now old so here is a new thread for a question that a Microsoft Engineer should have answered a long time ago in one of the other threads.
     I have IE 9 installed.
    I am setting up my default profile which will be used for ALL users to configure their profile when they log on. All profiles are destroyed on system reboot. All PCs are frozen.
    Every time I log in as a new user and open IE 9, the favorites bar shows up as I want it with NO BING Suggested Site crapware in site. Then about .5 secs after IE starts and the Favorites bar is shown, the EVIL "Bing Suggested Sites" button appears.
     I can delete it and it seems to stay away until I delete the users profile folder etc and have them log in again. When the profile is recreated the Favorites folder does not have a "Suggested Sites" option in the c:\users\username\favorites\links"
    folder. (I have deleted the hidden .ini files in the default folder) Nor does one exist in the "c:\users\default\favorites\links" folder from which the newly created user profile folder comes. But as soon as I start IE 9, one is created and placed
    in the users favorites links folder. This MUST STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE. AND IT MUST BE STOPPED!!!!! Where in the Windows 7 x64 Enterprise OS is the location of this evil action and how do I PERMANENTLY delete it.
    I don't EVER want to see the EVIL BING Suggested Sites button anywhere on the PC especially in the Favorites Tool bar on IE 9. An I expect/demand that Microsoft tell us how to 100% cannot fail get rid of it for ALL USERS FOREVER NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!! I
    have spent a lot of time perfecting my default profile making sur that ALL options are decide by me NOT MICROSOFT. I NEVER USE SYSPREP as that will destroy ALL custom defaults every time.
    When a user logs in in to one of my PCs and they start IE 9 they get REAL Google for the default search engine, not the version Microsoft will give you which first sends all search requests to Microsoft so they can spy on what you searched in Google for etc.,
    but real Google, not sent to Microsoft 1st. (I'll bet more than 90% of the readers of this site did not notice how if you let Microsoft set your default search provider to Google, they fix it so that all search requests go to Microsoft 1st, before it gets
    sent to Google. Look at the search string under manage your search providers, in IE 7 & 8. In IE 9 it is hidden, but still there. HOW EVIL OF MICROSOFT)
    With my default profile IE does not ask how you want to set it up, I have already made those decisions. I have made all those decisions for my users. But as of recently I have started installing IE 9 and now this unacceptable BING Suggested Sites junk ware
    keeps showing up. HOW DO I STOP IT. Do I have to put a line in my HOSTS file to send all request for Bing.com to 127.0.0.1 just to make sure that it can't be used. There by removing all possibility of my users ever being able to use Bing FOREVER.
    I would rather not do that but unless a Microsoft representative will tell me how to keep that useless Bing Suggested Sites button from appearing on the Favorites tool bar I will have to. I would love to let my user decide if they want to use Bing and waist
    their time trying to find good search results, but I will not have it forced on them and I will not allow it to be on the Favorites tool Bar ever. So will a Microsoft Engineer please tell us how to put a permanent end to the "Bing Suggested Sites"
    button for ALL users ALWAYS FOREVER.
