Billed incorrectly!

We have a holiday cottage that has a bt landline. The cottage is empty and in addition, the phone line is currently not working with a repair man due out next week! Despite this we have been billed for around £75 of calls just last month. I don't think the sheep snuck in to call a friend from a broken line! We have spent 2 hours on the phone from our mobiles trying to get someone to help us. Not only do we want a refund but we want to be sure this won't continue to happen, the only other solution is to cancel this and our London BT lines as this is appalling. You are effectively stealing money from your loyal customers!

  • Post Credit to Customer against incorrect Bill

    Hi Experts,
I am facing a complicated situation.
A utility customer has been billed for a particular period incorrectly.
The billing docs for the installation have been generated and processed completely.
After some time it is found that the customer was billed incorrectly and it needs to be credited.
Under normal scenario, we take the bill and post a credit by reversing it using EA16 (Manual Billing), and it works fine.
However, in our case, the Billing doc is archived and hence cannot be used in EA16.
How can we credit the customer in such a case?
    Thanks,
    Ravi

    Hi,
Try to use EA16 without reference to the original billing document.
So you would access the appropriate Rate category and quantity/price to be billed.
If your requirements are more complex than that, post a direct FICA document using "Post document" transaction FPE1, and specify the consumption Quantity in the GL item entry screen (if you wish to enter the delta consumption).
    I hope this helps.

  • Being billed for free workspace?

Hi, I think I am being billed for using the free ML workspace, or at least misunderstand why I am being billed a monthly charge for ML.
I see a monthly charge for one ML seat, and have one workspace which was migrate from the preview. The workspace shows as being free under settings. The workspace does not show in the manage.windowsazure.com portal. I can create and delete additional
    workspaces.
I was only exploring ML, and wish to cancel the monthly charge. How do I go about that?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Andrew

    Thanks for replying hayling12.
The bit I should of added was "All the customer of BT is facing same problem and it will be fixed within 5 working days no worries"
(my bold and no that's how it was written)
So is it a big problem? And are others being billed incorrectly?

  • How to contact Adobe billing support to get correct invoice without VAT

We have bought Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams but were billed incorrectly. The invoice includes VAT. VAT should not be included as both Ireland and Lithuania (my country) are in EU.
I've been trying to reach Adobe support for 3 days now without success. All help links just go to local support dealer. Email for that dealer doesn't work at all. Phone support cannot help me as they do not have access to customer invoices on Adobe.com.
Can somebody help me to reach Adobe? I need correct invoice badly.

  • Data billing errors?

Just bought a RAZR on june 18th and my data cycle was to restart on the 20th of june (only reason i did this was because verizon's software update for my previous phone caused my handset to brick ,it was a dinc2) - long story short verizon claims i have used .842 gb of 2gb - come to find out after adding up each individual data charge , ive really only used .0501 gb!! is anyone else seeing erroneous data totals at all??

Hi cclb155!  No one wants to be billed incorrectly!  I’d like to help.  First let me ask, how soon after the billing cycle ended did you check your usage?  What tools did you use to check your usage, the My Verizon app on your device or did you log into My Verizon on your computer & view the call & data detail page?  Keep in mind, usage may not always display real time.  Let me know so I can further assist.  Thanks!

  • Deceptive billing practice - file FCC complaint

I accidentally overpaid, called customer service, they promised to cancel the overpayment and offered to take the correct payment. I trusted them, made the correct payment, they never canceled the original overpayment. I called after several weeks, they still refused.
It's lying - and just plain bad customer service. Sure, they keep my money a little longer, but then Amex get's involved, has to call them several times, collect information, all to dispute the charge.
I file complaints with the FCC, better business bureau, states Attorney general, all of which doesn't take much time these days.
I hope it's worth the little extra interest they keep on my payment, I suppose it's policy just to screw enough accounts in bulk so it makes them a bit of extra change.
If anyone else has the same issue, I'd love to hear about it and what you did to try and correct the deception or draw attention to it. I suspect using social media maybe good as it will dissuade others from using Verizon.

I have been reading this so excuse me jumping in.
If you paid by credit card the company need only go back into the payment screen and post a credit back for that amount.
Verizon took this posters money in seconds, so they can give it back the same way. And they can do it.
Secondly as I just did this morning you can call your credit card company and they will do a charge back, this can be for defective goods and services, double billing, incorrect billing, failure to provide what was paid for ( as in my case and not Verizon) the card issuer will credit back that amount and notify the merchant why it was taken away.
Very few times is a charge back not placed permanently back to their customers account.
Now what "Treasury Department" are you referring to? it would be accounts receivable or accounts payable in Verizon's finance office. The US Treasury has zero to do with it.
Original poster, just keep on AMEX for the money back. They have limited time to put the amount back,
    Good Luck

  • $690.00 First bill for Iphone

I got home today and There was my first bill from att for my Iphone $640.42 Needless to say I almost crapped my pants,,After a few moments to compose myself I decided to look at the itemized bill and to my surprise AT@t billed me for $519.00 in data charges / internet charges. I gave them a call and was told that this was a billing glitch and that it would be taken care of before the due date on my bill.Hopefuly this will not be an ongoing problem for Iphone users.

This is actually what almost prevented me from getting the iPhone. When I lived in Pa, about 6 years ago, my wife and I had ATT since work offered discounted plans. They NEVER got the bill correct, it was always off by some rediculous amount. After the first year, and all bills incorrect, we dropped them (in the end we were ahead by about 200$ but was too much a hassle).
Sad to see things might still be crappy. In about 6 years Verizon did not mess one bill up for me. I want the iPhone, so I will just keep my fingers crossed.

  • BB Talk - being billed for free calls - anyone els...

    Well, where to start
Last month I was billed for a BBT call that should of been free. It was only 23p, but it's my money and not BT's. Called and used live chat - all sorted
Checked my usage for this month - BILLED AGAIN for free BBT calls.
Called BT this morning and got through to a guy whom didn't have a clue, that insisted that I was credited over £15 for my incorrectly charged BBT call last time - erm that'll be the 23p then, plus couldn't grasp what I was saying, then transferred me to the customer options team - erm even the guy on this team had no idea why billing would transfer me to them as they couldn't access the account from their system. We agreed to end the call there as we'd both of been wasting our time
The online usage doesn't tally either. It states 14 calls made and the recent usage (graph page) clearly shows only 9 calls were made.
But the page that gives the breakdown of the numbers called FAILS to load every time. Live chat have told me that ALL BT customers are affected and nobody can see their actual breakdown for their BBT account. I've copied and saved the conversation.
I have it in writing that my bill will be amended to reflect this error
So check your usage and your bill. Then please let me know if you too are being billed incorrectly and can you access the recent calls page for your BBT number
    Thanks

  • Complaints Lack of Customer Service and No respons...

    Hi there
I have had very similar experiences. Misold BT Business Line with Braodband speeds. Engineer called and connected to an old second line at the property which would only give me 2 MB.
    Complained - Nothing Happened
BT engineer said that my home line was " pants" as Chesterfield Broadband non existentr suggested I move my Braodband to Sky as they have better speeds and dont drop the connection!!!! I moved my home line to SJKY and guess what he was right!!!!!
Complained again about my Business Line - losing customers - no response
Complained via Twitter - no response only more promises of help.
BT  deceided to  increase my bill for no reason no letter no notoification April 2013 queried bills back to October 2012 - queriied this with Billing Accounts - they said sorry charges put on account in errror. Told Billing they were now in default of contract they cancelled the line said I would receive a refund of the incorrect charges.
Credit bill received  which I assumed was the final bill so cancelled my Direct Debit and then ongoing bills still arriving
Calls  amde to to BT Billing usually answered by Asia or Thailand had no idea of what i was saying most of the time  number of calls in excess of 20  All calls State that account was closed in April and that bills incorrect.
Called again  recently and spoke to Billing they promised to help but said that there were no notes of calls and contacts on system. E mail received from Karen Bernadino as I insisted that she acknowledge my call  -E mail promising to help. no futher mail or phone call despite further e mail chase up requests.
Today -  BT Chat   - waited  20 minutes today no luck -  called BT poptions team suggested I complain at www.bt.com/business complaints - doesnt exist.
At wits end now will write to Chairmain and Onbudsman - BT  have a non existent Customer Service that costs us millions?
Looks as though whatever you do the only way you can get a complaint sorted through BT is to go on this forum to shame them in full view of the general public.
Please can someone help I am not paying Bt any further money as they  jhave been in default of my contract since the Account was opened and further since October 2012 when they decided to increase the charges on  my account for no reason. No other organisation would get away with this invisibility and total lack of accountability.

I'm in the same boat have an outstanding complaint with BT , reported it 7 days ago.  Still nothing from BT.
Even if you do get a reply fromt he customer service team, you can ask agin and you will get something different they have no idea whats happening in the company.
It has to be said I now reckon BT are the worst company for customer service, they make Santander look brilliant.  Never have I encountered such poor customer service from a company that I have from BT.  Just look at the forums they are full of people complaining about the service they dont get.
Good luck in writing to the chairman, I did that too after a couple of days and got an automated reply back, still nothing official from BT.
    They are totally rubbish.

  • Basic Information for MM/SD/FI

    Hi All,
I am an ABAPer and need to work with MM/SD/FI in my new job. I have not really worked with these modules before so what level of information do I need to know and also are there any links where I can learn the basics within a few hours?
    Regards,
p.s. points for any useful help

    SD Flow
You create a sales document to enter information about different sales transactions. R/3 provides a number
of predefined sales document types. However , these can be customized to suit your company's needs when
    R/3 is installed.
Some examples of sales documents include:
    • sales queries
    • sales orders
    • outline agreements
    • complaints
You use sales queries to enter information about potential sales into R/3.Types of sales query documents
    include:
    • inquiries
    • quotations
    • free-of-charge deliveries
An inquiry is used to record any general queries a customer may have about goods or services they
are thinking of buying from your company. An inquiry is one of the first possible documents you can
create in the customer order management cycle. An example of the type of information contained in an
inquiry is whether your company stocks a certain product line. Along with entering general customer
queries, you can use inquiries to record the goods or services that a customer is interested in. And you
can enter descriptions of goods or services that your company should research in order to answer customer
queries. You can carry out automatic pricing for any goods or services you enter in an inquiry. This will
enter the price of goods or services into the inquiry for you. You can also check whether any goods you
entered in the inquiry are available in your company's warehouse. The order probability function enables
you to determine the likelihood that a customer will buy from you. To increase the probability of a sale,
you can offer the customer alternative goods and services.
Quotations are sales query documents that you create when a customer requests specific information
about a product. For example, you can use a quotation if a customer makes a query regarding how much
goods or services cost or you can use a query if a customer asks when goods will be available for shipping.
You can create quotations from scratch or you can create them by copying inquiries. If a customer is
interested in the products or services after they have made an inquiry, you can provide a quotation based
on the original inquiry. R/3 allows you to copy the information directly from an inquiry to a quotation.
Let's say an inquiry was created when a customer inquired whether your company, could manufacture
twenty motorcycles. Assume a quotation was created by copying this inquiry when the customer called
back to inquire how much twenty motorcycles would cost. You can use quotations to enter information and
descriptions for goods and services that are to be researched. You can also use them to carry out automatic
pricing and to check goods availability. You can use quotations to calculate the probability that a customer
will buy the goods or services entered on a quotation. This function is called order probability. You can
also use quotations to enter details about alternative goods or services. These are goods or services that a
customer did not inquire about but that you think they will consider purchasing. Once you have created a
quotation for a query in R/3, you send the quotation to the customer who made the query. The quotation
represents a binding offer made to the customer that includes quantity and cost details.
You create a free of charge delivery when you send free samples of any goods that your company
produces to customers. These contain information about the goods that are delivered but they don't
include the corresponding pricing information for them.
Let's look at the sales orders that exist in R/3.You create a sales order when a customer has ordered
goods or services from your company. They are a part of the customer order management cycle.
You can carry out automatic pricing in sales orders to enter the price of goods or services.
R/3 will also run a credit check on the customer to see if they will be exceeding their credit limit.
You can also check whether ordered goods will be available in your company's warehouse for delivery.
Examples of types of sales order include
    • standard orders
    • consignment orders
    • cash orders
    • rush orders
You create standard orders for goods and services that will be delivered or rendered according to
the standard R/3 sales cycle. This means that goods are ordered, picked from the warehouse, and
then shipped before customers are billed for them. Likewise, services are rendered before customers
    are billed for them.
Your company may store its goods in its customers' warehouses. You create a
consignment order when a customer is ready to retrieve stock from the warehouse.
SAP can propose the most suitable stock to retrieve, including third-party stock.
A consigment order is like a standard sales order for goods but it doesn't have any delivery
    information.
You create cash orders and rush orders for the sale of goods only.
You create a cash order when a customer picks up and pays for a delivery as soon
as it is ordered. And you create a rush order when the customer picks up the goods on the
same day as the order is placed. In this case, the invoice is created later.
You can arrange to deliver goods or render services in installments. To do this, you create an
outline agreement. Examples of some types of outline agreement include :
    • quantity and value contracts
    • master contracts
    • scheduling agreements
    • service contracts
You create a quantity contract if a customer has agreed to order a certain quantity
of goods from your company during a specified period.
And you create a value contract if a customer has agreed to order goods of a certain
cumulative value from your company during a specified period.
Quantity and value contracts do not include delivery dates, so releases are made
    using a sales order.
You can unite multiple contracts in a single master contract.
Let's say you create a quantity contract because a customer has agreed to order
500 engines in the first six months of the current year. If the customer orders 100 of these
engines in January, you create a sales order called a release order. You refer to a quantity
contract in a release order. So you refer to the quantity contract created for the 500 engines in
each release order created for these engines. R/3 will then update the quantity contract
automatically so it contains the correct number of remaining engines to be ordered.
Scheduling agreements specify the installments in which goods will be delivered
to a customer. They include the quantity of a product that will be delivered in each
installment. And they include the delivery date of each installment. You process a delivery
for each installment contained in the scheduling agreement in the same way that you process
a delivery for a regular sales order. No sales documents, such as release orders, are created before
the products included on a scheduling agreement are processed for delivery.
You create a service contract if a customer requests a service over a particular
period of time. For example, you could create a service contract if a customer ordered five
one-hour maintenance checks from your company's motorcycle repair department.
You create complaint sales documents if there has been a fault with any goods that
have been delivered, or with any services rendered, by your company.
For example, you create complaint sales documents if customers have been billed
incorrectly for an item or service, or if goods are faulty.
Different types of complaint sales document include
    • returns
    • credit memo requests
    • debit memo requests
You create a returns document if a customer returns goods they have purchased from
you because they are not satisfied with them. You can create returns from scratch or you can
create them by copying the sales order that was originally created for the returned delivery.
A returns document records that you expect stock to be returned to your warehouse.
You can create one or more credit memo requests if a customer has been overcharged
for a quantity of goods or services. You can also create a credit memo request if goods were
damaged during transit and you want to credit the customer for the goods damaged.
When you create a credit memo request, your Accounting department reviews it to
confirm that it can be justified. If the credit memo request is approved, the Accounting department
creates a credit memo based on the request. You can create credit memo requests by copying other
sales documents such as the sales order where the overcharge occurred.
You create debit memo requests when customers have been undercharged for products
or services.Your company’s Accounting department can then create an invoice to bill the
    undercharged customer.

    MM Process flow:
    Process Flow
The typical procurement cycle for a service or material consists of the following phases:
    1. Determination of Requirements
Materials requirements are identified either in the user departments or via materials planning and control. (This can cover both MRP proper and the demand-based approach to inventory control. The regular checking of stock levels of materials defined by master records, use of the order-point method, and forecasting on the basis of past usage are important aspects of the latter.) You can enter purchase requisitions yourself, or they can be generated automatically by the materials planning and control system.
    2. Source Determination
The Purchasing component helps you identify potential sources of supply based on past orders and existing longer-term purchase agreements. This speeds the process of creating requests for quotation (RFQs), which can be sent to vendors electronically via SAP EDI, if desired.
    3. Vendor Selection and Comparison of Quotations
The system is capable of simulating pricing scenarios, allowing you to compare a number of different quotations. Rejection letters can be sent automatically.
    4. Purchase Order Processing
The Purchasing system adopts information from the requisition and the quotation to help you create a purchase order. As with purchase requisitions, you can generate Pos yourself or have the system generate them automatically. Vendor scheduling agreements and contracts (in the SAP System, types of longer-term purchase agreement) are also supported.
    5. Purchase Order Follow-Up
The system checks the reminder periods you have specified and - if necessary - automatically prints reminders or expediters at the predefined intervals. It also provides you with an up-to-date status of all purchase requisitions, quotations, and purchase orders.
    6. Goods Receiving and Inventory Management
Goods Receiving personnel can confirm the receipt of goods simply by entering the Po number. By specifying permissible tolerances, buyers can limit over- and under deliveries of ordered goods.
    7. Invoice Verification
The system supports the checking and matching of invoices. The accounts payable clerk is notified of quantity and price variances because the system has access to PO and goods receipt data. This speeds the process of auditing and clearing invoices for payment.
Pur info record is nothing but a master data like thing which will be maintained for different materials to determine the prices etc.It Specifies the number that uniquely identifies a record.
For Example: an info record is based on Plant Vendor and Material
Based on these three the Material Prices will be calculated
for different combinations different values are taken into consideration.
During pricing it brings these values automatically based on this info record.
Use ME11 Tcode to create this record.

I was employed by BT and receiving the free employee broadband package. I am no longer receiving this and I have been billed incorrectly. I have contacted the BT billing team but they have told me to contact the Employee Broadband team.
Having left the company I cannot find any Email addresses or phone numbers for the Employee Broadband team, please could somebody pass on some contact details.
    Many thanks.

I had similar problems when I retired three years ago. It took a bit of sorting out.
I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are a UK based team of people, who take personal ownership of your problem.
Once you get a reply, if you click on their name, you will see a screen like this. Click on the link as shown below.
Please do not send them a personal message, as they may not be on duty for a long time, and your message will not be tracked properly.
For your own security, do not post any personal details, on this forum. That includes any tracking number you are give.
They will respond either by phone or e-mail within 5-6 working days.
Please use the tracked e-mail, to reply, not via the forum. Thanks
This is the form you should see when you click on the link. If you do not see this form, then you have selected the wrong link.
When you submit the form, you will receive an enquiry number, so please keep a note of it

  • 'Check  covered levels OKS'  process results in error during QA checkup

    Hi,
The following process in QA test, before submiting a service contract results in error.
'Check covered levels OKS' with the error message
"Atleast one covered line is required".
I'm not able to choose any product.
How to set the covered level as product in service contracts?
In the service contracts authoring window, under lines tab -->pricing/products-->
    effectivity
    line number
level- covered product. But the lov in name field doesn't list any value ?
what could be the possible reason for this?
    Regards,
    Nithya

Well, I think I can only give some limited info about these questions since I am only a contracts user, not a developer or administrator.
But here's a few things that might help.
1 & 2) I have always created contracts from scratch where I work. They can't seem to get OM to create contracts correctly (so I can't help with question 2). I don't use OM except for inqueries.
When you create such a contract, it should show up in the Install Base (IB) if you look up the IB record with the related Reference Number (which changed to Product Number in the IB when my company switched from 11.5.5 to 11.5.8). In my case it was the Contracts tab in 11.5.5 (Java interface) and the Contracts link in 11.5.8 (HTML interface).
    3) From my experience, the Contract Number is the Sales Order Number in View Transactions if you had the AR Interface checked in the contract.
If you want to change from not having the AR Interface checked to having it checked, I think this works fine and the contract will bill the next time the Main Billing program is run after you make the change, as long as the Bill On Date (11.5.5) or Invoice Date (11.5.8) is set to the current date or earlier. An Invoice (INV line item with invoice # -99) will show up in the Billing History after the AR to Contracts Interface program is run. The actual invoice # will show up in this Billing History after the Invoicing programs are run.
In 11.5.5, if our contract started in the future, we not only had to make sure the Bill On Date was current or earlier, but also run the Main Billing program on that contract with a date equal to or later than the end date of the contract we wanted to bill before it would work. Do not do this on all your contracts at once if you have recurring billing on any of them. You must run it on the individual contracts, otherwise the recurring contracts will bill in full. This is supposedly fixed in 11.5.8, since you can use offsets of more than 31 days on the invoice date, but we haven't billed any yet, so I can't say for sure.
I had problems with billing when trying to change the ammounts in the line items after the billing program had already invoiced a contract in 11.5.5 and haven't tried this in 11.5.8 (it billed incorrect ammounts on the successive invoices).
Note that we have a highly customized version of Oracle Applications 11i, so your results may differ somewhat.

  • HT2105 For some reason, I do not see my iTunes balance listed anywhere. I've followed all instructions and still nothing. What's up???

This was not an issue before. Now, all of the sudden, I cannot get my iTunes balance anywhere. My last purchase was actually charged to the credit card on file and it did not default to using my remaining balance. Very frustrating...

    Hello ingishi
If you have an available balance, it will show up next to your Apple ID when looking at it within iTunes on your computer or iOS device. Check out the first two articles to review and make sure that you have an available balance to spend. If you do and you were billed incorrectly, then report the issue to the iTunes Store by following the steps in the last article.

  • VKM4 problem

    Dear All,
I have implemented dynamic credit management at order level. System is also behaving fine and sales orders are getting block for credit checks.  BUt when I am trying to release the sales order by using VKM4 system is showing all the details of all block sales order. When i select RElease and SAVE I am getting following message:- "NO massage found in T100" and sales order is not getting released.
    Help please.
    Regards-
    Ram

What is the reason you selected for the dynamic check. Please check in OVA8. Looks like the message number related to this reason is missing in the T100. Please check and get it created. Else in your credit check user exit, try to use a custom message number for this message purpose. Credit user exit - LVKMPTZZ
Also check if these below notes are applicable in your scenario:
Note 105963 - Release for billing: Incorrect message displayed
Note 415726 - Conversion of new T100 messages ID
    Regards
    Sai
