Billing after an event has been cancelled

Hi all
One of our users created a business event and booked delegates for training.  One of the delegates was then cancelled (Cancellation Reason: Late Cancellation which is charged using Billing).
Before she did the billing, however, she cancelled the course.  When she then tried to do the billing, it says that no attendees can be found to be billed.
Is there anyway that we can still charge the late cancellation fee for this delegate?
Thanks
Liezl

Hi Liezl
Unfortunately , there is no way of charging them once you have cancelled the attendees for a particular course event. However, all you can do is book them again for that course and before cancelling them for the 2nd time , charge them with the fee. and once you have billed them, you can cancel them.
Reward points, if helpful.
Regards

  • After installing Firefox then closing it, I cannot open it, PC says it has been cancelled due to restrictions on my computer

I have run Firefox for over a year now. However I ended up with various pop-ups recently though they were easy enough to remove and didn't effect Firefox in any obvious way. In the past few days every time I have attempted to open Firefox, even right-clicking on the .exe file a warning pops-up saying "the operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. please contact your system administrator".
I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and it worked fine, only to return to that warning message after I closed and re-opened it. This has also effected Google Chrome in the exact same way even though I never owned Chrome until all this business began. Internet Explorer, which I'm on now has suffered no problems.

Hi mcclausky, you may need to manually remove a policy setting from the registry. You also should scan for malware that might have created this problem.
This article lists scanning and cleaning tools other Firefox users have found helpful: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]].
To check your Windows registry for policy settings that might affect Firefox or other programs, I suggest consulting a Windows forum or Microsoft's forums. For example:

  • Strange IMAQ Error Message: "ni: A frame has been dropped and the acquisition has been canceled."

    Hello,
I am getting a strange error trying to use the NI PCIe-1427 with the MATLAB image acquisition toolbox configured with continuous acquisition.  After about 5 minutes of acquisition, I get the error below:
??? ni: A frame has been dropped and the acquisition has been canceled.
Does anyone have any clues as to why I am getting this error / where I can find out what causes it?  I need to acquire several hours worth of data and this error completely aborts my acquisition.
      --Y

    Hello,
Turns out that I found the problem.  I had a slow memory allocation in my MATLAB code and this delay allowed too many frames to be accumulated in memory.  I still do not know the source of the exact text of the error, but upon removing the slow memory allocation the error no longer occurs.  I believe that it may have resulted from a buffer overrun of some sort in the underlying driver.
Given that this no longer poses a problem for me, I will not pursue it further.
    Thank you for your help!

  • Failure Writing file...Report processing has been canceled by user

I'm having a bit of an odd issue.  In my SCOM environment I have 8 scheduled reports that management likes to look at. 7 of them are working just fine, however one of them keeps failing with the status:
"Failure writing file <file name> : Report processing has been canceled by the user."
Now this report is running every Sunday at 2:30 AM and I can assure you I am not up administering reports at 2:30 am on a Sunday.
Except for the file name this is set up identically to one of the reports that is working fine. If I write click and "run" the report it generates, though it takes a few minutes, and I can save it as an excel file to where we want it. There's nothing
in the event log around the time it says it last ran (2:30:03 AM).
    Any ideas?

    Hi Dave,
Could be conflicting with this built maintenance at 2:30am:
There is a rule in the System Center Internal Library called "Optimize Indexes". This rule runs every night at 2:30am on the RMS and calls p_OptimizeIndexes.  Make sure any standard maintenance you perform on the OpsMgr DB does not interfere
    with this job.

Did you look at SQL Reporting Services Logs?
As well, you can try to change the Report Execution TimeOut in Report Manager.

  • Payment run has been cancelled F110

    Hi Experts,
Would like to ask possible reasons the following status is displayed in F110.
    "Parameters have been entered
    Payment proposal has been created
    Payment proposal has been edited
    Payment run has been cancelled
Posting orders: (X-1) generated, (X) completed."
Why does posting/payment were still created even if it is stated that "Payment run has been cancelled". What are possible reasons the payment run was cancelled.
Thank you very much in advance.

    Hi,
With reference to the belowstatus which you have provided,
    "Parameters have been entered
    Payment proposal has been created
    Payment proposal has been edited
    Payment run has been cancelled
Posting orders: (X-1) generated, (X) completed."
Once you edited the Payment Proposal, then sytem displays a message Payment proposal has been edited
After that only you have cancelled the Payment Proposal, then sytem displays a message Payment run has been cancelled
Once you cancelled the Payment run system won't generate any posting orders.
Please try to replicate the same once again, you won't get this again.
    Thanks

After installing SmartView, run the Configuration Utility and select Foundation -> Web Configuration to register it correctly with all the other components. OHS will need to be restarted after the Web server configuration task.

Besides, are there any detail error on the log? You can troubleshoot this issue by using the Windows Event logs and msmdsrv.log.
You can access Windows Event logs via "Administrative Tools" --> "Event Viewer".  SSAS error messages will appear in the application log.
The msmdsrv.log file for the SSAS instance that can be found in \log folder of the instance. (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSAS10.MSSQLSERVER\OLAP\Log)

  • This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions....

I've been testing Windows 7 RTM for my company lately. So far it has been working great...until I installed JRE.
Here, we have some accounts restricted to the point that only a set list of EXEs are allowed to run. When we had Windows XP, there wasn't a problem. javaw.exe was part of the allowed programs.
While testing Windows 7, I came across this error immediately after opening Internet Explorer: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer."
I disabled the GPO temporarily that controls the allowed EXEs and that message went away. If the GPO is enabled, it comes back. Furthermore, I uninstalled Java to see if it would come up with the GPO enabled. Everything was flawless!
What am I missing that starts with IE for Java??

    dudleyb wrote:
What am I missing that starts with IE for Java??As a thought....
    Where does IE come up?
When I start IE I always configure it to start blank (browser line says "about:blank"). If you are instead going to a location that location might require java.
If that doesn't help then someone in the GUI forums might know what IE does on startup that might cause problems with that (like preloading the VM.)

  • This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions... - Office 2013 (Windows 2012R2 RDS)

    Hello,
We've got an Windows Server 2012 R2 Remote Desktop Server farm for Multi tenant pursoses. therefor we've decided to use the following GPO setting: "Restrict Access to the Following Drives" in combination with the "Hide the following drives"
for both settings we've set the C: drive to be inaccessible through regular browsing. This causes an issue when users, that open up their documents from an outlook attachement or an internet explorer webpage. Is there a way to get around the error message:
"This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer" or perhaps change the error.
I've already been experimenting with the outlooksecuretemp registry and setting the temp/tmp environment variable to another location which then allows users to save in an temp folder but prevents the message, this then causes documents
to get lost since such a location gets auto cleaned after logging off. Due to multitenant purposes i dont want to change 2 GPO settings mentioned earlier.
I did how ever found the setting: "File open/save Dialog" (+ "Approved Locations") setting which prevents the error message but therefor causes other issues. Like beeing unable to press a library or explorer.
Anyone got any suggestions on how to prevent the error message?
Thanks!! And when more information is required please let me know so i'll try to explain the exact situation.
    Regards,
    Dennis

I have the same issue as Dennis described. Environment is Server 2012R2 and Office 2013.
"Restrict Access to the Following Drives" and "Hide the following drives" are set
After the users have opened an attachement, a pdf for example, and then hit 'save as' the error message "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this Computer. Contact your Administrator" occurs. Finally it
showed the save as dialag and pointed to redirected documents.
I've also tried to set the 'OutlookSecureTempFolder' to the value U:\ in HCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Security. Drive U:\ is mapped correctly.
But when I have opened the attachment, the registry value has changed to C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.Outlook\....
BTW: In a Server 2008R2 environment with Office 2010 the modified 'OutlookSecureTempFolder' worked like charm.
    Any new ideas?
    Regards,
    Markus

    Hello [Redacted for privacy],
    Auto-recharge has been cancelled
This email confirms that Auto-recharge has been cancelled for the Skype Manager called [Redacted for privacy].
Possible reasons why Auto-recharge was cancelled are:
    1. You cancelled Auto-recharge yourself.
    2. The credit card you use for Auto-recharge payments has expired.
    3. You are using PayPal for your Auto-recharge payments and either the credit card linked with your PayPal account is no longer valid (for example, it has expired), or you have cancelled your billing agreement with Skype on the PayPal website.
