Black screen at beginning

I'm pretty new to imovie and iweb but I've somehow figured out how to create a website and movie to put on it. I used iMovie to create it and exported it using Quicktime streaming medium (really not sure what is best way to share, would love to know that). It works when I publish it to my website but it movie shows as a big black screen until you hit play. Can someone please tell me how to show the title or picture something other than a black screen? Also when it ends its goes to a big black screen again.

Since you are using iWeb, go to the iWeb Inspector window and select the QT tab. Now select your movie clip to activate the associated QT controls in the Inspector window. Slide the "Poster Frame" slider to locate a "title" or other frame you wish to display as your "poster frame." (As this slider is very "touchy," I normally use QT Pro to "Set" the poster frame.) If you have not already done so, you can also set you movie to automatically start as soon as enough data has been cached to the viewers computer and/or set you movie to loop. When done, publish your changes.
Also when it ends its goes to a big black screen again.
Haven't tried it myself, but you would try re-setting the "Stop" point for playing you movie in Inspector window under the same QT tab described above. (I.e., the "Start/Stop" slider above the "Poster Frame" slider.)
