  • My MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr 2GB DDR5/OC always reboot ...

    Hello
I have brand new PC with MSI Z87-G45 and MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr 2GB DDR5/OC detail can see in my signature, every time i start some game ( such as :
Simcity 2013, Watch dog, Metro Last Light, Company of Heroes, and others ... ) with graphic setting in medium, high and ultra level, Game Just stops, blank and i get my pc reboot automatically.
I have tried to upgrade geforce driver to : Version 340.52 and nothing changed.
Anyone can help me with this ?

I downgraded into MSi Nvidia Graphic Driver 331.65 and do some test with games ( SimCity 2013, Watch Dog, and BF-4). Setting Graphic detail can only set to low level  , I mean if setting push to medium or high mode, my rig suddenly reboot.
Btw i have tested also in different os with Win7 64 bit Pro, reboot appeared also.

  • GTX 760 Twin Frozr OC 2GB Broken

Hello there. I wonder if anyone could help me. After saving for months (I'm disabled & Jobless) I could finally build my pc of my dreams. After looking around on various forums & friend recommendations, I chose to buy myself a 2gb GTX 760 Twin Frozr OC to go with my new setup. After installation I decided to play the games I had so long waited to play, which lasted all of 5 minutes before my screen started flashing & I had to do a hard reset on my system. I tried this on several different games til I finally decided to ring the company I got it from (Novatech) who gave me a returns number to send it back. They had it for a few days & then I recieved a phone call to say they couldn't find any issues after running 3d tests, so they sent it back to me. Happy that I got it back, I put it back into my pc thinking I could finally play my game & then after 5 minutes it crashed out again. So back off to them again, this time it was my whole pc & a week later got a phone call to say they had run 3d tests for 24 hours with no issues & removed the 8pin adapter plug I had used & used the original leads in my pc. So, I get my pc back, start to game on it & it worked!!.....for all of 7 minutes or so then crashed again. I rang them up again, obviously getting rather annoyed by now & they sent me an email with a link to run furmark for at least 2 hours & then tell them what it said on screen. Furmark lasted for all of 2 minutes before giving me this issue : http:/ /nvidia.custhelp. com /app/answers/detail/a_id/3007 So I email them back & give them the details, along with a video of my game actually crashing & they asked me to send my gpu back again, cos they now knew it was a hardware issue (which I basically had to find myself). So off went my gpu for the 3rd time, only for me to get a phone call a few days ago to say they (Novatech) couldn't do anything because the serial number was apparently missing from the card (even though I had previously discussed getting a replacement or a refund) I've checked inside my pc to see if it fell off, but couldn't find anything. I'm really stressing over it now, which doesn't help my situation. I don't have another £150 to buy another one, yet novatech are saying they can't do anything either. Just wondered if anyone could help me? Thanks in advance (I hope)

    Hi,
I suggest you contact MSI straight away, and even though it's missing S/N label, they should make notice of the fact this card has been used in several places, including their own lab.

  • GTX 760 TWIN FROZR OC showing incorrect clocks?

    I'm new here, hi  .
Week ago I received a brand new 'GTX 760 TWIN FROZR OC 2 GIG' card.
I understand this card should have 1085 clock and 1150 boost.
The thing I can not understand is why my clocks in GPU-Z are showing different?
    See screen shots.
Despite what the above says, boost clock does seem to work,  Afterburner shows 1137 mhz in games, not quite the 1150 mhz advertised but almost.
Can someone tell me if this is normal?   or have I been given an older revision?  I'm sure when I checked the clocks the first day, the clocks were correct, but I could have been mistaken, not sure.
    Cheers

You have to check the specs of your card. It lists:
1085 (Boost Clock: 1150) (OC mode)
1020 (Boost Clock: 1085) (Gaming mode)
980 (Boost Clock: 1033) (Silent mode)
    Quote from: http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N760_TF_2GD5OC.html#overview
Default (even when not using Gaming APP) and if using gaming mode the clockrates are 1020 (Boost Clock: 1085). With good cooling it might boost a bit higher like in your case. Silent and OC mode do require running the >>Gaming APP<< in silent or oc mode.
Alternatively you can manually oc the card.

  • MSI GTX 770 Twin Frozr 2GB OC Bios question

I got the MSI GTX 770 Twin Frozr OC 2gb version and would like to know how to verify if I have the newest bios for the gpu.
This is the newest version listed on the website : http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N770_TF_2GD5OC.html#download
And thats an ss from GPU-Z, cant find the exact bios version in that downloadable zip from msi website and i cant seem to find the date created for the bios I have on my card now.
Having some problems with gpu load drops and microstuttering, so wondering if a bios update might sort out my problems.

The vbios on MSI site is a different vbios series (NV282MS.331) and older than your current vbios. Your vbios (NV282MS.352) is dated 06/18/13 while the one from MSI site is dated 06/11/13. Both are legacy vbios versions (no GOP support). You can try the latest hybrid vbios (GOP support) which is NV282MH.351. It is attached.

  • Broken Fan Blades on MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozr

    Greetings,
I quite recently purchased an MSI GTX 760 Twin Frozer OC and have been extremely happy with it, but today I had to replace a faulty motherboard and upon pulling the guts out of my computer I found two smashed up fan blades in the bottom of my case. The two blades in question seem to have snapped off completely from the bottom and I cannot figure out why.
The card still works perfectly so I'd prefer not to have to send it to Holland for repairs, is it possible to get a spare fan from MSI or from elsewhere?
    Thanks in advance.

Fans aren't sold separately by MSI. Some guys here could obtain those on ebay from China but you'd need to check for the right ones as they won't be sold as Twin Frozr replacement fans. Alternatively MSI would need to repair it (not for free of course as it is physically damaged). Other than that you could get an aftermarket cooler.
