Block transaction types from being searchable

hi Experts
Currently we use only certain transaction types. I tried to use the 'inactive' status which disallows creation of new transactions under those types but I need to prevent search for these transaction types as well.
My question is, is there a configurable solution?
If so, please let me know how to do this.

Hello Chris,
if you do not want to change this transaction types you wont see in WebUI in your customizing there is also another way.
Do not allow this transaction types in your authorization (PFCG-Role).
Transaction types you are not authorized for you won´t see in search result lists.

Dear Stiffler,
The Payment Method field (ZLSCH) is not controlled via field status.
This field cannot be set to required in the standard functionality in
FB60.
It means that for Vendor document entry for "payment method",
you can only achieve it by creating a validation rule at call-up
point 2.
Or You can insert it into a Payment Term by OBB8 and insert the Payment Term into Your vendor/customer master data.

Hi Jacky,
You can make a property of a step uneditable by changing the property
flags for the step. First, you want to be able to view the hidden
properties so that you can change the flags for these properties as
well. You do this by going to Configure>>Station Options
and selecting the Preferences tab. Check the box for Show Hidden
Properties. Once you have done this you can select the step type
from the types palette. In the window to the left, you can expand
the tree for the type to see all the properties of that step.
Right click on the property that you do not want users to be able to
edit, select Properties. Then click the Advanced button.
Here you will see a list of the setable flags. Check the box for
PropFlag_NonEditable. You can then do this for all the properties
of the step that you do not want users to edit.

Cross-System Copying of Transaction Types from CRM to ECC

Hi Gurus,
We have a requirement where we need to create followup transactions from CRM to ECC.
eg:- We want to create a Sales Order in ECC as a followup transaction to a Service Ticket in the CRM.
1) So please guide what needs to be done inside CRM.
2) Is there some specific list of ECC transactions which could be created as followup to a CRM transaction or any ECC transaction can be created as followup.

Ability to block file types from websites

Hi All,
Seeming the knowledge base wasnt much help and I cant get through to support.
I was hoping someone here could help.
I am trying to create a policy which will block downloads only for webmail sites. I do not want any users able to download any attachments from webmail sites.

IRecruitment Notification Approvals AME Transaction Type not being triggerd

Hi,
We are trying to customize iRecruitment Notification Approvals AME Transaction Type for our requirement of sending customized notification to recruiters and employees whilst doing any application status.
But for some reason AME is not triggered.
I have verified that the profile "IRC: Notifications AME Transaction Type" is approrpiately set at Site level; with value being "IRCNTFAPPROVALS". Does anyone know if any other setup needs to be done for AME to be triggered for this particular transaction type to be kicked off.
Working on R12, 12.1.3 version.
Any suggestions, if any one has faced a similar issue or any guidance?

Okc/okx table that contains Transaction Type from the pricing/billing tab

We are running 11.5.9 EBS, and the module is Service Contracts Authoring.
I have a sql script that pulls data from the header and subline level for service contracts. If possible I would like to get the Transaction Type form the Pricing/Billing Tab. Summary > Pricing/Billing - submenu "Billing". I have not been able to find a table in OKC or OKX that contains this Transaction Type ID which can be tied back the cust_trx_type_id in the AR.RA_CUST_TRX_TYPES_ALL and in turn get the NAME for the transaction.

I'm not sure where the cust_trx_type_id would be stored in OKC/OKS tables, but the table OKS_BILL_TRANSACTIONS stores the trx_number that you can link to ra_customer_trx_all and get the cust_trx_type_id.

Would it not be a good idea for Apple to block an iPhone from being restored if in lost mode?

Surely there should be more protection against this kind of thing. I lost my iPhone at the weekend, I believe it fell out of my pocket when I slipped over. I have searched for it where I slipped but cannot find it anywhere so I can only assume someone has picked it up. I immediately went on to iCloud to try and locate the phone, which worked for about a minute until the phone ran out of battery. The location backed up my suspicion that it had been picked up. I then turned on lost mode hoping that it may secure my phone a bit, to later find out that all it takes is for someone to restore the phone on iTunes and I won't be able to track it anymore.
I hope that the person that found my phone may be a good Samaritan and either hand it to the police or if they manage to charge it will see the message I have attempted to leave on lock mode and return it to me, however, I fear that will not be the case.
Would it be that hard for Apple to implement something that would stop a phone from being restored, when in lock mode, until the phone has lock mode turned off?

In the second and third paragraphs where I mentioned 'lock mode' I actually meant to write 'lost mode!'

Blocking Output types from Triggering.

Client has a requirement that if overall credit status of delivery is 'B' ( Blocked ) then all output types Automatic or Manual associated with the delivery should be blocked.
I added following lines of code in requirements for all output types associated with deliveries
IF   KOMKBV2-CMGST CA 'B'.
    SY-SUBRC = 4.
    EXIT.
ENDIF.
But we are still able to attach output types to deliveries with credit status blocked, any pointers ?

This can be the issue you are facing.
you are exiting from the current event with the 'EXIT' statment, but the validation is not applicable in the subsequent event.
in the subsequent event, may be 'END-OF-SELECTION',
insert the following statement, as the first statement:
CHECK NOT KOMKBV2-CMGST EQ 'B'.

Is there any way to block particular file types (i.e. .avi, .wmv) from KM repositories? We do not want users to be able to load particular types of files to our SAP Portal environment.

Open Config Tool > cluster-data > Instance > Server > General Tab and add Java parameter '-Dcom.sap.km.forbiddenext=exe,avi' (modify exact values per your needs). Save and repeat the same procedure for all cluster instances. Restart cluster.

How do I block a website from being loaded automatically from another website?

I want to be able to instruct Firefox to block certain web pages/sites from loading. (The particular problem is certain sites which I DO want to view automatically opening other web pages/sites in new Firefox windows.) There ought surely to be a facility in the Options menu or elsewhere to specify particular sites to be blocked from loading, but I can't find one. I'm sure the hated Internet Explorer had such a facility. Where is it in Firefox?
