  • Tax code level

    dear sap guru
we have more than 100 tax code, we r using from last year, now all tax code  are in tax code level ,
suddendenly my client want change the levet of all tax code in plant/material/vendor level, and they also want all tax code should be same, is it possible? and how?

Now u have maintained the condition at tax code level and now u r client want the conditions to be mainatined at plant/vendor/material level.
For this in u r access sequence the plant/vendor/material level should be above tax code level. so system will search first at plant/vendor/material level . if it find s the record at this level then it will not serach at tax code level. and this value will be used for tax calculation.
So u can mainatined all the condtioned t plant/vendor/material level. but be clear that for this combination only one value can be maintained.
for eg plant 1100 vendor ABC material xyz only one condition can be mainatined.

  • EWT - giving validity period based on withholding tax code

    Dear Friends,
    1) My client is having different withholding tax codes (based on rates) for the same withholding tax type. I have given validity period based on withholding tax type in EWT -> Company code -> Assign withholding tax types to company codes, but they want at withholding tax code level because each withholding tax code is having different validity period.
Could you please let me know whether we can give validity period or dates based on withholding tax code instead of withholding tax types.
    2) Also please let me know how to handle LTDC based withholding tax codes.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Dwarak.

    Hai,
it is not possible to give validity period for tax codes.if you are

  • Tax Conditions are flowing in PO irrespective of any tax code

    HI Experts,
I have maintained the condition Records for the Plant/vendor/Material combination for the Tax Code V1.
But , Even If i enter the Tax code V2 in PO by mistake , All the condition records are  flowing to PO.
How can it be controlled ? or Do we need to take Tax code as a access field?.
    With Regards
    S.Siva

SAP always gives priority to the detail level, during document creation it even if you are putting tax code if material/ plant/ vendor level condition exists, it will copy the material /plant/ vendor level conditions from condition records. This is standard functionality.
The condition records are created with key combination which in your case is material/ plant/ vendor, even if you are putting tax code inside the records with the above combination.
If you wnat to keep it at tax code level then select the key combination as taxcode/ country or tax classification.

    HI,
I know the tax procedure of TAXINN, but i have small doubt about Tax Code and Conditon Record.
If we maintain the Tax Percentage i n the Tax Code and Condtion Record also.  What is the use maintain the Tax Percentage in two menctioned placess.
    Thanks,

    Dear,
If you are using tax procedure TAXINN then maintain percentage in FV11, there is no need to maintain the same at Tax code level.

  • Payment block non editable on the basis of company code level

    Dear Gurus,
we had made payment block "A" non editable in payment praposal through transaction code ob27.as per reqeust from
our partent company in India but our subsidiary in France wants the payment block "a"  to be editable (to be insert
payment block "a" in document to make document deselect). Is it possible to make payment block editable on the basis of
    company code level.
    Regards,
    Rajesh

    Hi,
In this scenario, you need to have a NEW Payment block key like Z. Create Z with reference to A in OB27.
For Z, you need to select check box Change in Payment Proposal and SAVE.
Now maintain this Z in vendor masters of company code, where you want the payment block can be edited.
Note: Payment Block codes are not company code dependent.

  • Blocking Vendors on Company Code level

    Hi,
Our Purchasing Organization has multiple Company Codes. Is it possible to block certain vendors for a Particular company code without affecting the other company codes which might be using that vendor??
What exactly we are trying to do is block all future Purchase orders & Requisitions from being created for a list of Vendors for one company code. We do not want it to affect other Company codes within the same Purchasing Org which might be using the same suppliers.
I know about XK05 but I think it puts a "Purchasing block" at the Purchasing Org level only and not on the Company code level. Is there any way to achieve this??
    Your inputs are really appreciated.

    Hi Martin,
If you want to Block the Vendor for a Particular Purchase Organization and Company code then Go to XK05 and Select Vendor Pur Org and Comp Code and in Posting Block tab Activate for Selected Company code and in Purchasing Block tab Activate for Selected Purchase Organization and Save.
Before this you need to set the following to Error.
SPRO-MM-Purchasing-Environment data-Define attributes for System messages
ME 023 Vendor & blocked for purchasing organization &
ME 024 Vendor & flagged for deletion
ME 025 Vendor & flagged for deletion for purchasing organization &
For XK05 Message ME 023 would work.

    Nani.

  • Blocking logistic invoice verification at company code level

    Dear all,
May I know what is the system setup (SPRO) for this:
Blocking logistic invoice verification at company code level ?
    Thanks
    tuffy

    Hi There
I think it can be solved in 2 ways,,
    1. Number range, if you have not defined for the particular company code for this year,,
    2. Authorization for the Comp Code level (Check with your basis team ,, it will be the easieast way to block it for CC level and when ever you want they can just remove the block, (insterad of doing the changes in config, if basis can control the authorization it will be the best way)
    Hope it helps,,
    Thanks

  • TAX code is not working for a specific company code

    Hi Friends,
One tax code is giving error messa ge that it is not maintained in tax procedure, when iam using the same code for another company code it is working fine.
Please help me, points are assured.
    Thanks.
    Srini

    Hi Srini,
The tax codes are defined at the country level.  Please check whether the company codes belong to the same country.  If not ensure that the tax code is maintained in the tax procedures of the respective countries.
You can check the assignment of the tax procedure to a country in the TCode OBBG.
    please reward points if helpful.

  • Classic profit centers reporting full b/s  below company code level

    Dear Experts,
we are using classic profit center. How to get Profit center wise balance sheet below company code level.
Facing issues for balance sheet GL accounts as at 3KEH one profit center i can choose...my requirement is to get 2 balance sheets for two profit centers.
    any suggestions ?
    Regards,
    Sekhar

    Hello Sekhar,
With Classic profit center accounting correct balance sheet cannot be ensured at Profit center level.
This is due to following reasons
    1. Vendor/ Customer line items -
No assignment of Vendor/Customer recon accounts to Profit center in 3KEH.
But in period end you have to execute F.5D and 1KEK to transfer this values to Profit center accounting based on the offsetting line items.
This also might create problems if you don't clear the open items on period end as your Sales/Purchase will go to one Profit center and Payment will go to other (defaulted for Bank/Cash). Cleared items are not transferred
Also, Transaction between Vendor and Customer will lead to some values posting in Dummy profit center.
    2. Asset line items
Profit center will be determined by Asset master
    3. Tax accounts
Mostly it has to go with Default Profit center. SAP has given option for re-determination of Tax line items profit center based on off-setting line items during period end (Tax account should be assigned to Dummy profit center in 3KEH). But this will work only for Sales/Purchase transaction, as payment will go to default profit center used for Cash/Bank. Again it might lead to confusion.
    4. Material accounts
Profit center assigned in Material master is used.
    5. Other Balance sheet accounts
These accounts like Bank, Cash, loan etc has to be assigned to default Profit centers using 3KEH. Else, user has to enter the correct Profit center during entry. If missed out, it will go to default profit center. Remember, balance sheet accounts not included in 3KEH (except for Vendor/Customer) will not be transferred to Profit center accounting itself.
    Hope it helps..
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Tax Code Mandatory in Purchase Order for specific Company Code / Country

We are doing Roll Outs of SAP into different countries.
In a particular Country / Company Code we want Tax Code to be mandatory in Purchase Order without disturbing the settings for other Country / Company Code.
Can anyone provide some idea to resolve this?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
You can create a seperate document type for that country and make it mandatory in the document specific screen varient
SPRO>MM>PUR>PO>DEFINE SCEEN LAYOUT AT DOCUMENT LEVEL>COPY NBF
Make tax code field mandatory and assign it to new document type for that country
Or user user exit or BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST
    Thanks
