Blocking Customers From Placing Orders

Hi,
ould like to block certain customers from placing orders. How can I do this?
Thanks,
Mounika.

Hi,
You can apply the block based on sales areas using VD05, but you would have to block the customer in the all areas that the order could be created against. If you want to block the customer globally, use XD02 - Extras - Blocking Dtat. There you will see:
Sales order block
-All sales areas
-Selected sales area
Delivery block
-All sales areas
-Selected sales area
Billing block
-All sales areas
-Selected sales area
Block sales support
You can also block deliveries and billing at this level.
You can also try blocks in credit management and accounting using FD05 and FD32.
You can block orders from being created and shipped in Credit Management with a whole host of settings here including blocked or various risk categories
Reward points if found helpfull...
Cheers,
Siva.

  • Reversing stock directly to blocked stock from prodcution order

    Hi Guys,
    Scenario is like this
Good issue(say Material X -10 qty) is made to a prodcution order
Now the requirement is reverse the stock of material X from the production order directly to Blocked stock & not Unrestricted use
By 262 it will go only to unrestricted & not blocked stock
Please explain me in detail how to configure this
    Thanks in advance,
    SVP

    Hi,
"Reverse" means that you do the opposite of your first action. You consumed the raw materials by 261 form unrestected, when you reverse it, the components will get back to unrestricted.
There's no mvt designed for the purpose you want (in standard SAP) - as per my best knowledge.
So, you have to reverse the consumption and then block the stock.

  • How to Block Customer from Sales Order Type

    Hello Gurus!
I was wondering if there was a way to block a specific customer from a sales order type?
We have 4 Sales Organizations, and 2 of them use this customer, with different sales order type for each sales organization.  So I only want to block this customer for 1 sales organization and a sales order type.....is this possible.  If so, please advise!
I just want to block a customer from a sales order type.
    Thank you for your time!
    Best regards,
    WC

    Hi,
I have an wild idea just check it works or not--
Create a dummy customer pricing procedure.whenever u want to bleck a customer for any particular order type assign this dummy pricing procedure in customer master(Sales Tab).
Do not define any pricing procedure in SPRO against this customer pricing procedure
The moment user will try to process any order type (which u want to block for a customer), the system will not determine any pricing procedure & consequently it will not allow to save the order.
Hope it will solve the problem.
    Regards
    Sanjay

  • Block invoice from Purchase Order

    Hi,
I would like that, for a specific kind of purchase orders, when an invoice are posted to it, they where automatically created with blocked for payment "R".
This is something I sould decide to do in the purchase order, as for the same vendor and material sometimes I know I will pay the invoice and sometimes I will clear invoices - as in trading operations (only differences between invoices will be paid).
could you all help me on this?
    Thanks so much!!!

    Hi
It could be better if you create separate account group for vendors for whom you wanted to block the payment at time of invoice verification (in VMR - in payment transactions - payment block). When ever you create purchase order (as you said specific - document type) then invoice will be blocked.
    Thanks

  • Blocking staff from ordering more than 4 of same item per day

    Hi All
I need a SP to block staff from ordering more than 4 items of the same kind per day, reason for this is the stuff gets the product at a discounted rate and now they are abusing that privilege.
    Hope this is clear,.

    Hi Gordon
    Thanks for your response.
I want to block the user from placing orders once they have reach a daily limit of 4 units for each item for an example.
Staff XT places an order for Item DG900 for 4 units on the 23rd of June 2011 then he is not allowed to place another order for the same item on the 23rd of June.
    Hope this is clear.

  • Create a reciprocal relationship on customers from order import

We are working on importing customers from an order. When we import two accounts it is able to create the relationship but it doesn't make it reciprocal. We tried setting the checkbox "Allow Reciprocal Relationship" in AR to see if that would do anything but it didn't work. I'm hoping it's not too much work just to get a little box checked...

    Hi,
Following is the way Reciprocal relationship can be established.
lets say we want to form a relationship with C1 & C2 and both are not existing in System.
Step 1: First Import C1 customer using Customer Interface
Step 2. Import C2 Customer using Customer Interface. While importing Customer C2 populate ORIG_SYSTEM_PARENT_REF column with ORIG_SYTEM_REF of Customer C1.
If Create Reciprocal Customer is checked (yes) the system will create reciprocal relation between above customer.

  • Block material for sales order entry in specific plants

    Hi Experts,
I wanted to know if there is a simple way to block material from being ordered in a specific plant other than maintaining exclusions. My situation is one sales org, two plants (A & B). Order entry should be blocked at plant A and not B.
I tried using the material Cross-distribution-chain material status on Sales org 1, but this blocks across all plants.
I also tried Plant-Specific Material Status on purchasing view, this blocks the material only if it is being procured (non stock). This does not work for materials that does not require procurement. Setting the material to deletion status in MM06 at the plant level will only give a warning.
Any ideas or suggestions on how to handle this?
    Thanks,
    Nanda

    Lakshmipathi,
Thank you. But I don't want to entirely cut off the plant from the sales org. I just don't want to be able to create sales order for a few materials in a specific plant. Ex. Material A should not be allowed on sales orders in plant X but should be allowed in plant Y, both are assigned to the same sales org 1000.
I did some research and found there is no standard way to handle this in SAP, so I decided to go with a user exit MV45AFZZ. By checking against plant specific status (MARC-MMSTA) and if the value is 'XX' then issue an error message.
    Thanks,
    Nanda

  • How to release Stock blocked against deleted line items from  Sales order.

    We have Scenario as follows.
Sales order made for  items available in stock.  Deleted few lineitems from sales order balance items delivered and invoiced. Sales cycle is complete in all sense.
What we have noticed is when we are creating new sales order / Delivery for deleted items from above Sales order it shows deleted quantity is blocked against old sales order. These line items are no longer
available in old sales order since it is deleted also it is not appearing in open sales order report (VA05).
Overall stock available is same as quantity mentioned in deleted line item.
In MD04 - Sales requirenment transaction it shows sales order / line item against which it is blocked.
                    i.e deleted line item.
How to release these stock and make available for sales. Any standard process available ? or any other solutions
    Thanks & Regards,

I got a solution for my question from other forum. for info
Go to SE38 and enter program SDRQCR21 then execute...
Enter line item which is blocked for sales order in MD04 and enter plant then check Data
transfer box and uncheck other boxes... It will pop up information and click yes...
You will get one report and Stock inconsistency will go off and then check it in MD04....

  • Blocked for payment from sales order

    Hi!
Do you know to do to the FI document will come blocked from sales order?
For example, I did a sale order with a client x. The payment terms of this client is setting to block the payment.
So, when I did a sales order, and do all SD process, after billing it, on FBL5N the client document isn't blocked for payment.
Do you know any way to block it from a sales order??
    Regards,
    Danielle.

    hai,
A is also fine. If the payment terms is applicable for both customer as well as vendor, then the system will block for payment and in FBL5N also system will show with block indicator A.  Or
Try to block in same FBL5N, select particular document, goto environment in menupath select change document and block it and then save. Again run FBL5N check the block indicator.
There is no additional configuration is required apart from my first reply.

  • FHD panel evaporated from customized order

    Hi,
I moved this from another tread and was going to post it in the T shipping forum but it didn't fit there either.
I had sized up my W510 order w/ the FHD panel recently and tonight when I came back to actually order the unit, low and behold the FHD panel has evaporated from the customized ordering option.
I scanned other forums and found more stories for  mysteriously cancelled orders and constantly adjusting phantom ship dates for anything w/ the 1920 x 1080 "FHD" panels and now the FHD panels are no longer an orderable option on the customized web ordering site?  WTH?
How could Lenovo so grossly underestimate the demand for these units with this panel?   If I or thousands of others dedicated "Thinkpad" customers wanted some BS smaller res, lower quality panel, and inferior overall quality product,  I'd buy another brand.  I've owned Thinkpads since they were first released.
This backlog of orders, plus all of the lost sales from people like me does not reflect well on Lenovo or its supply chain - especially during this economy.  Someone placing an order for a machine in this class ought to have it at their door in 3-5 days maximum, not 3+ months - bad, bad, bad, bad, BAD!  And still worse yet, they yank the FHD panel from the ordering options and do not even post a note to page showing when the option will be again be available?
Do I now have to keep checking the Lenovo order site daily for the next 3-6 months until the FHD panel option magically "reappears" or is there some way, like with many other companies, to have Lenovo email me once the FHD panel is again available?
It also seems quite short sighted to removed the ordering option from the web site.  I understand not further ticking customers off by not shipping when promised (I'd be ticked off too) but to totally remove the option just shifts the burden of tracking this from Lenovo onto the backs of customers and keeps Lenovo further in the dark on the actual demand as they now have less info available to guauge the actual level of demand via their backorders.
Brilliant, just brilliant.    Thanks, G. Mobley

Yeah, when I ordered a W510 earlier this year, the web site said it would delay the order 4+ weeks.  Which was techincally accurate, but entirely misleading. I have enough patience to wait 4-6 weeks. But now, my order status says it won't ship for 10+ weeks!
Apparently there was a "labor crash" in China around the Chinese New Year. Many workers went home and realized they can make much more money back home in service jobs than in the city doing factory work. I can understand that -- who wants to sit in a stuffy sweatshop examining the pixels on FHD screens and breathing solder fumes 12 hours a day in the city; when they can be doing a more social and better-paying service or office job back home close to their family? So, the labor shortage has affected many Chinese manufacturers.
However, most of these Chinese companies, like Asus and Lite-On, have been able to make adjustments to compensate for the labor shortages. I don't know enough about Lenovo's business to say what they should have done but at the very least, (1) I don't understand why Lenovo still had FHD panel listed as an option when they obviously could not possibly deliver it in a reasonable time frame. (2) Why is it just the FHD panel? That indicates not just a manufacturing problem but a management problem.
After wating that long, this W510 better be the best computing device I've ever used, or I'm done with Lenovo.

  • I am having an issue regarding a placed order via customer service department

I recently relocated to Anchorage Alaska as part of a permanent change of station per the United States Air Force. I was initially located on the East Coast in the lower 48 and at the time of activating my contract I had purchased two separate Iphone 4 devices. I also recently went in to a store in February to purchase a Nexus 7 as well.
Upon arrival in Anchorage I had multiple issues regarding the Iphone 4 devices including being unable to send and receive text messages & imessages, unable to make phone calls, dropped phone calls, unable to utilize GPS, as well as not being able to access general account information and use anything related to web browsing or data usage. It was determined that because the Iphone 4 operates on the 3g network and Verizon does not have a 3g network in Alaska, as a result I was utilizing an extended service network from another carrier. As a result of this I am only able to use my Iphone 4 devices while connected to my wi-fi network while within my home, which is totally unacceptable.
I was not made aware that I would be dealing with this when I moved to Alaska and inquired as the the use of the devices I currently owned prior to purchasing the tablet. I was assured by three separate store employees one of which being a manager that all devices would function at 100% efficiency including the Iphone 4s. In fact I was recently billed 350$ for roaming charges last month, which prompted me to speak with a representative via the online chat regarding the significant increase she said that she was unable to process any sort of credit to the account regardless of what I had been told at a local Verizon store where I purchased the tablet.
As a result of all of these mishaps since arriving here in Alaska I determined I was in need of newer devices that utilize the 4G LTE network currently provided by Verizon in Alaska. I know for a fact that the 4G LTE works great up here because my Nexus 7 tablet runs flawlessly and does not incur roaming charges when utilizing the 4G LTE network.
Yesterday I attempted to contact Verizon through the live chat feature regarding upgrading two of the devices on my account. The live chat representative immediately asked me when my upgrade date was. Upon telling her my upgrade date 9/29/2014 she told me I should contact the customer service department as I might be eligible for an early upgrade. I then proceeded to contact the customer service department using my Iphone 4.
My attempt to speak to anyone in the customer service department resulted in a merry-go-round of being put on hold 6 separate times by two different employees, both of which had me wait for more than an hour while they attempted to speak to a manager to gain approval for an early upgrade. The first rep seemed almost sure she would be able to have my devices upgraded early especially considering the issues I was having regarding service.
The second rep seemed newer and was very dodgy about my questions and was very unwilling to help at first. He even mentioned that I had been a Verizon customer for almost two years, had never missed a single payment and had outstanding account history which should have garnered some sort of importance to the level of my request. But I digress, during this time I was disconnected from the call twice from each separate representative.
Both reps assured me they would call me back, I never did get a call back from either one of those reps and I was becoming very frustrated having waited four hours trying to find some sort of solution to my current predicament.
After waiting an hour for the second representative to call back I grew impatient and contacted the customer service department, was put on hold again, and finally reached a third customer service representative who was able to provide a solution for me.
I explained everything I had been dealing with to Cory ID #  V0PAC61, both regarding the phones, the issue of the level of service I was receiving, the dire need for working devices and the multiple times I had been disconnected. I explained to him as a result of these issues I was certainly considering switching to a different provider, a local provider even who could provide me the adequate service that I require for my mobile devices.
I explained to Cory that I had been with Verizon for almost two years, and I had been on a relatives account prior to owning my own Verizon account and had never received this kind of treatment when trying to work towards a simple solution. Cory proceeded to tell me he needed to put me on hold to see if there was anything that could be done regarding the upgrades of the device considering all of the trouble I had been dealing with.
After Cory reconnected with me in the phone call he was able to successfully reach a solution by allowing me to upgrade my devices. We conversed about the options available and I eventually decided to upgrade both Iphone 4 devices to Moto X devices as we determined those would be sufficient for my needs while in Alaska. I also proceeded to add two Otter Box Defender cases to the order so that the devices would have sufficient protection. Cory inquired as to whether or not I would like to purchase insurance for the phones as well and I opted for the $5.00 monthly insurance which including damage and water protection.
Cory explained to me the grand total for the devices which included an activation fee of $35.00 for each device, $49.99 for each Otter Box case, and an additional $50.00 for each device which would be refunded as a rebate upon receipt of the devices and activation, a rebate that I would be required to submit. Cory explained to me that the devices would most likely arrive Tuesday of 6/17 and no later than Wednesday 6/18.
Cory took my shipping information and told me everything was all set and the only thing left to do was to transfer me to the automated service so that I could accept the 2 year agreement for both devices. I thanked him very much, took his name and ID# so that I might leave positive feedback about his exemplary customer service and was then transferred to the automated service.
Once transferred to the automated service I was then prompted to enter both telephone numbers for the devices that would be upgraded, I was then required to accept the new 2 year agreement for both devices and after doing so I was required to end the call. I did so in an orderly fashion and expected a confirmation # to arrive in my email regarding the placed order.
I have never received a confirmation email. I decided to sleep on it and assumed a confirmation email would be sent sometime tomorrow. Nothing has since been received however. I woke up early this morning around 6AM Alaska time to speak to another live chat representative, Bryan, in the billing department who assured me the order was currently processing and verified the order #. I asked him whether or not it was typical for a customer to not receive a confirmation email for an order placed and he said it can sometimes take up to 2-3 business days. He then stated that he had taken note of the issues I was experiencing and told me he would transfer me to the sales department as they would be able to provide more information regarding the shipment of both devices and a confirmation email, as he stated he did not want me to have to wait any longer than necessary to receive said devices.
I was then transferred to Devon in the sales department via the live chat service where I was then required to repeat everything I had said to both Bryan and the other representatives I had spoken too. After a lengthy discussion and repeating everything I have just wrote he told me the order was indeed processing and that he would send a confirmation email in the next 30 minutes.
That was 2 hours ago. It is now 8am Alaska time and I still have not received a confirmation email regarding my order. I was sent an email by Verizon an hour ago stating I had a device to "discover". The email contained no information regarding the shipment of my device, the order confirmation number, or anything regarding my account. The email I received was a typical spam email asking an individual to check out the current available phones and sign up for a new contract.
All I want is a confirmation email to assure that the devices are being sent. I need my phone for work and to communicate with my family in the lower 48. I desperately need to make sure that the device is in fact being sent to the proper address, this is why a confirmation email of the order is so important. I do not care about the shipping speed I just want what I ask to be taken care of for a change. I would hate to sit here unable to determine what the status of my devices are only for the order to be stuck in "processing" limbo and be unable to receive the devices when I was told they would be sent.
I feel I have been given the run around treatment way more than is typically given with any company when an individual is trying to work towards a solution. I have been patient and cordial with everyone I have spoken with, I have not raised my voice or shown stress or anger towards the situation I have only tried my best to work towards a solution with anyone I have spoken too but I am becoming increasingly frustrated with this situation.
Any help regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated. This situation has left a sour taste in my mouth and if the devices were indeed not actually processed in an order, or they were not shipped correctly, or in fact if the order had never existed at all it will only deter me from keeping my Verizon account active and affect my decision to switch to another provider.

Hello APVzW, we absolutely want the best path to resolution. My apologies for multiple attempts of replacing the device. We'd like to verify the order information and see if we can locate the tracking number. Please send a direct message with the order number so we can dive deeper. Here's steps to send a direct message: http://vz.to/1b8XnPy We look forward to hearing from you soon.

  • Restriction for items from Purchase Order based on Sale Order

    Hi !
We create PO directly from Sale Order ( by ticking Option under Logistic tab, 'Purchase Order') for customer C01 (for eg).
From the PO created, we post GRPO.
    Now our need is,
Assume if 10 Qty is been ordered in such a way and been received (GRPO posted). it 'll add on to the stock account i.e will increase stock qty at our whse.
is it possible to restrict these 10 qty of item from being sold to any other Customer other than whom hav ordered i.e if we create sale order for C02 the SBO should not take the items received from PO created based on Sales Order created for C01?
    Meera.

    Meera,
Which version of SBO are you using 2005 or 2007?
I don't think Serial numbers can help in this scenario.  There is no hard allocation or blocking possible using Serial numbers.
This is the Work around I am thinking about.
Set the items to be Batch Managed - On Every Transaction
When performing Goods Receipt, enter the Sales Order Number as the Batch Number
When creating the delivery, using SBO_SP_TransactionNotification we can easily check the Batch of the Item being selected and verify it with the BaseRef of Delivery lines to match with Sales Order number.
If the numbers don't match we can warn user with message, "The items batch reserved for Sales Order xyz"
Even if you make a mistake when entering the batch number same as Sales Order number when doing a goods receipt. It can still be traced and blocked during delivery.
Hint: The Batch table records the Goods Receipt transaction along with the BaseDocument number, Base Ref, etc
If you decide to go this route, I could help you further.
    Let me know
