Blurry letters on N97 display - how to refresh?

From time to time, my
phone shows somewhat blurry letters on the display.
Anyone knows how to get rid of these - or how to force the screen to refresh?

How to refresh the panel's display in listener?

I have a Jcombobox and a panel(square,background color:white). I want user to choose the panel's size from the combobox and thus change the panel's display. However, when I choose a value from combobox, the panel's size DOES change, but the display cannot be rerfreshed realtimely. It still display the panel by previous size. If I minimize the whole window and restore, then the panel gets refreshed, displaying by new size.
Can anybody tell me how to refresh the panel's display dynamically? thank you a lot.

if we bounce the listener the connections to other might be lost.NO!
The listener contacts the DB to establish the initial connection between client & DB.
After the connection between DB & client has started, the listener has NO involvement between DB & client.
Stopping the listener has NO impact on existing sessions.

How to refresh the data in a container and to update the new data

Hi,
I have created a Module Pool Program in which i have two containers to display the long text.
Initially this container is filled and based on some condition i want to update the text in the same conatiner.
I am using the below two classes to do all this.
cl_gui_textedit,
cl_gui_custom_container,
Could someone help me how to remove the long text in the container and update the new long text.
I am getting the new long text but not able display it in the same container. Please someone help me how to refresh and update the container.

How to Refresh a Page once saved to database in ADF.

Hi,
I created a JSF page using project template as "JSF,ADF,business components".
There is a List of values displayed in a dropdown list,
User can create new value and once it is saved to the database it should reflect in the list of values.But it is not displaying in the LOV and it is happening only when i close that page and open a new one.
Can u please tell me how to refresh a page without closing the current page once save button is clicked.

MiniTechnically Yes, you can create a D.A. that will fire only once based on some apex page item or application item value. However this is NOT the correct solution.
<li> When you see apex page (after clicking menu in EBS), do you see apex url in browser address bar? Can you post the URL here?
<li> If you directly log-in to APEX (not via EBS), do you still face this issue?

How to refresh the ALV Tree

Hi,
I have an ALV Tree report developed using the OOPS. In my ALV Tree output, I have some buttons which will update the database after clicking. The data is correctly updating in the database. But, it is not getting updated in the ALV Tree display. That means, it is not REFRESHing the ALV Tree display. We have to again execute the program in order to see the updated output.
Could anyone please suggest me how to Refresh the ALV Tree display..?
We can't use the method 'REFRESH_TABLE_DISPLAY' as it is a PRIVATE method is the class CL_GUI_ALV_TREE.
Please share your valuable thoughts.

How to refresh CR 2008 datasource

Hello,
We have upgraded CR 10 that came with the Visual Studio 2005 to CR 2008. However, just upgrading of the Visual Studio project was not enough, to make old CR 10 reports to work I have to open each report in the CR 2008 application (not the Visual Studio), refresh their data source and save, after this they work.
I'm using datasets as a datasource, so I don't have problem with it. But some reports I inherited from the previous developer. He was using a C# class as a datasource for reports. It's just a C# class file - InvReport.cs. This file contains field definitions for several reports.
I cannot figure out how to refresh this datasource. Class file is not in the list of the datasources for Crystal Reports, so whatever I'm trying to do in the Database Expert (or by setting datasource location) fails.
Could you please advise me on how to deal with this situation? Or perhaps there is another way to to upgrade the old reports to 2008 version? According to Visual Studio - they all had been upgraded automatically, but in reality they don't work until I open each one in the report application and refresh datasource.

Peter,
Rather than updating the reports from VS2005 I would suggest you to use CR2008 designer. During updating of the application the reports might not have got updated properly as it depends on the complexity of the reports like stored procedures, formulas etc. So I would suggest you open the .rpt file in designer, Go to Field Explorer -> set data source location and then create a new connection in Replace with window and update the fields in Current datasource window.
Preview to ensure the report displays proper data and then use this report in the application.

How to refresh an iterator with PPR set to none after task flow operation?

Using JDev 11.1.2.1.0.

For this to work, you've got to set your page iterator/executable's ChangeEventPolicy to "none". Otherwise, you can't set the selected row correctly due to the iterator refreshing on commit.
I'm trying to extend this example to include a Delete operation setup in the task flow. However, I can't figure out how to refresh the page's iterator to display the updated results. The Delete doesn't run in a dialog so it doesn't invoke the calling button's returnListener.
Any ideas?

I'm trying to call the delete operation from a task flow. Once the delete occurs, the page should somehow call a refresh on the iterator displayed. However, since the iterator can not have PPR set, the refresh doesn't happen automatically. Additionally, since the delete doesn't happen as part of a dialog window, the returnListener for the calling button does not fire.

Creating attachment in CRM 1Order ... How to refresh?

I am using CL_CRM_DOCUMENTS in a CRM action to attach a generated PDF document. This works fine!
But... when I'm in the transaction and execute this action, the attachment is made but the overview on the 'Documents' tab is not updated. If I go out of the transaction and in again, it's fine ofcourse..
Do you have any idea how I refresh this 'documents' tab?

Well.. the problem really seems to the in the refresh. Once the action is executed and the document is attached, it is fisically stored correctly. But when I switch to the "documents" tab, the display doesn't show it.
When I then switch to the documents tab on item level and then then switch back, the control get's updated and the attachment is there!
So I need some way to force a refresh of this control.

How to Refresh JTree if a file System got changed during Run-time

Can anyone tell me how to refresh a JTree(javax.swing.JTree) used for displaying file system(both local and remote).
I'm getting a problem if a file/directoy is added to the file system, after my Applet is loaded. Actually, i have used DefaultTreeModel's reload() method for refreshing and calling it inside SwingUtilities.invokeLater() using Thread, but its not working.
I want that the tree should reflect the latest Files/Directories on the click of a node, if any file or directory is added under that node.
Plz tell me if this is possible or not.

How to refresh one View instance from another View Instance

Hi ADF Experts,
I have a requirement in which I have created two View Objects based on a single entity object.
I am using a first VO to display data in a table and the second to update data to database.
The commit will happen through a Global save button.
But before the global save, I need to show the data using the First VO, which is inserted using the second VO.
Can anyone help me on how to refresh the first VO to display the data.

Hi Dileep,
The first VO which I mentioned is based on two EOs and has a lot of calculated values.
And to add to my worries there is a parent child relationship between the two EO's, where in parent is updated with one row and child with multiple rows.
The multiple rows updation to the child should happen with a shuttle component in a different popup.
So I am inserting everything programatically in the java code, where I need two use different VO to update parent and different VOs for the shuttle.
I could get the data, if it is committed, but to add to the complexity, there is a global save button which should commit the data.
So I want to get the data based on the EO update before commit to the database.

I can't access the sync. I couldn't get the blurry letters to work and now it won't let me go back and try again. It says my email is invalid.

I couldn't get the blurry letters to take even though I entered them right. So I checked the help button. But, no one has responded. I tried to go back into the sync screen but it says my email address is invalid. How can I set up my mobile?

The music files, were they bought from your iTunes account or did someone gift them to you after buying from the iTunes account? If they are yours you can download them again if you clear or de-authorise the ipod, it has to be done by whoever gave you the ipod to do this (the registered owner). If they were bought for you on another itunes account I don't think Apple let you use them as they are copyrighted and they don't belong to you, they belong to the person who bought them. If the music files where ripped from music cd's then click and drag them to a new folder on your desktop and have the person who gave you the ipod to de-authorise and unregister it. Then you re register it and put your files back from your desktop folder in your iTunes folder and synch. Hopefully that would work. Any files which you did not buy, I would not know how get around this, best bet is to take it to you nearest Apple Store and explain that they were gifted to you and ask how you can use them. The best way to gift music files is to buy the gift tokens and give these. Hope above helps.

Never try to refresh or initialize system variable. It shall always lead to errors in the programs. For this I have an alternative way below.
Please declare a variable for e.g
data: <b>l_count</b> type sy-tabix.
Inside loop you can write the code like this:
say for eg. you need to refresh l_count for every new material.
Loop at itab.
on change of itab-material.
clear : l_count.
endon.
l_count = l_count + 1.
endloop.
Hope this clarifies your issue.

Dunning letters - customers title displayed wrong

I am using F150 in order to issue dunning letters and this looks good with one exception: the address of customer contains the title "Mr." instead of "Herr", even the communication language is German and the form is translated in German as well. This title cames from structude ADRS, field ANRED and I think it should be taken from the communication language when I print the dunning letters... How can I solve this?

I fixed it... in the end I found an SAP note which sent to another SAP note and even if I use 6.0 and these notes refers to 4.X, it worked also for me. The notes are 217638 and 146050.
The only change I applied:

How to refresh XML file from my client machine

I have temp.XML and temp.XSL template in our server machine.
when i give a print from client machine first time it gives the record,and next time it did not get refresh.Always it shows the previous records in the browser.But when i go into the server machine and click on temp.xml,it shows the current record(correct records)

You never delete a Time Machine backup by dragging it to the Trash. You are supposed to use the TM application to manage the backups. What you will need to do now is to simply erase the drive using Disk Utility.
