Bookmark transaction with parameter values

Hello,
i want to add a bookmark to the sapgui (6.4) usermenu which starts a transaction (rsdmd) and also passes the parameter-value (infoObject), so that the user don't has to search for the respective infoObject.
Is that possible with sapgui?

Hi
You can call a transaction passing it values for the screen:
Addition 2
... USING bdc_tab [bdc_options]
Effect
Use this addition to pass an internal table bdc_tab of row type BDCDATA from the ABAP Dictionary to a dialog transaction. The additions bdc_options control the batch input processing. When a transaction with addition USING is called, the system field sy-binpt is set to value "X" in the called program - while this transaction is running, no other transaction can be called with this addition.
OR
You could call the program that the transaction calls directly using the submit statement as follows:
SUBMIT {rep|(name)} [selscreen_options]
                    [ list_options ]
                    [ job_options]
                    [AND RETURN].
Your full requirement however is unclear as you do not specify whether you are working with SAP Standard programs or custom programs etc. I think you should elaborate on your requirement.

  • Transaction Launcher to R3 transaction with parameter

    Hi everyone, I´m working in a new project where I want to excecute a Z transaction in R3 via transaction launcher in CRM. The thing is that I want to send the business partner that was identified in CRM during a call as parameter. I already work with transaction launchers and parameters but was with a BW URL report and the parameters are sent within the URL, but I don´t know if with R3 transactions it can be done, does anyone can tell me if this scenario is something that can be done with transaction launcher configuration or what kind of development do I need to do in CRM ?  do I need to develop something in R3 in order to receive the parameter !?
    Any advice will be appreciated.
    Thanks !

  • Setting properties with parameter values in templates

    I'm using templates with JSF. I'd also like to acquire the value of a request parameter and pass it to a setter method in a ManagedBean so that I can derive the page body from it. My simplified template looks like this :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

    <h:body>

              </div>
              <utils:navigation />
         </div>
    </h:body>
    </html>The "body", created with ui:composition, is using "myBean". But it doesn't matter because the "set" method isn't being called on the bean. Where should I put "f:viewParam" code
    to set the property of a ManagedBean if I'm using templates?
    Thank you in advance for any help.

    Problem solved.
    Found the solution to my general problem by making use of the Annotation "ManagedProperty". It only applies to request scope apparently but that is the scope where I need it.
    I found these two pages helpful.

  • Creat asset transactions with 0 value (ABZP)

    Hi experts,
    We have a business scenario which is to transfer the asset 1 from Company acb to Company xyz at NBV. Now, the asset 1 in Company abc has been fully depreciated, so the NVB is 0. In this case, the asset is still need to be transferred to Company xyz.
    We are using tcode ABZP (transaction type 151) to post the values to asset 2 (newly created) in Company xyz. But now the problem that we are facing is that we are not allowed to input 0 in the value field.
    Appreciate if you can could advise what can be done for this business scenario. Thank you very much.
    Best regards,
    TCS

    Hi,
    yes, you are right it is not allowed to transfer a ammount of zero.
    The solution in this cases: post 0,01 on the sending asset and transfer 0,01.

  • RWRUN60: Problem with parameter value containing space between single quote

    Hi All
    I'm using RWRUN60 to generate my report by following way:
    C:\orant\BIN\RWRUN60.EXE userid=DBUser/dbpasswor@db BACKGROUND="NO" BATCH="YES" DESFORMAT="pdf" DESNAME="C:\report.pdf" DESTYPE="FILE" ORIENTATION="LANDSCAPE" PARAMFORM="NO" P_REPORTID="2431" P_REPORTNAME="Report Name" report="C:\report.rdf" P_WHERE="StartDate>=to_date('2011-07-14 10-37-00','YYYY-MM-DD HH24-MI-SS')"
    When I tried to run given command above nothing was executed executed and any log didnt created.
    I found out that problem occurs when text between two single quotes contains spaces. In my case it is a parameter P_WHERE. I need to keep such format because it is part of report query.
    When I removed last parameter from command RWRUN60 successfully genereate pdf document.
    Further I added new test parameter P_TEST(it is ignored by rdf) in the end of command line following:
    P_TEST="test '11'" - rwrun60 generates report
    P_TEST="test '1 1'" - rwrun60 doesn't; generate report
    Can somebody help how to resolve given problem. Is it parsing bug or what else?

    Spaces on command lines a very often a bad idea. Get rid of them by changing the command, e.g.:
    to_date('2011-07-14:10-37-00','YYYY-MM-DD:HH24-MI-SS')

  • Database logon failed when opening report with parameter values in CrystalReportViewer

    Hi,
    I designed 2 crystal reports: report A contains parameter fields and report B did not contain any parameter
    I can open both reports in development site using CrystalReportViewer control. When I open the reports in testing site,
    I can open report B but can't open report A. It display error message "Database logon failed". When I set EnableDatabaseLogonPrompt
    to true and try to open the report A again, it shows database connection data which was created on report.
    In addition, it is strange that it displays error "Database logon failed" when I click an item in group tree panel of the report B. This indicates that it can load data from database
    in testing site but it connect to development database when clicking items in group tree panel

  • Direct print out with parameter values dialog

    Post Author: lp75

    Is it possible to get a parameter dialog on a direct print out ?reportDocument."Show a dialog similar to that one in CrystalReportViewer"reportDocument.PrintToPrinter(...);

    Post Author: ole
    CA Forum: .NET
    reportDocument."Show a dialog similar to that one in CrystalReportViewer" is not possible, because ReportDocument has no user interface at all. You have to look in namespace CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms. There are things like CrystalDecisions.Windows.Forms.PromptingDialog. There are also some other dialogs.  I don´t, if that will work. Maybe it is a help. Please inform if you are successful. I think I will need it some day, too.

  • Call transaction in new session with the value at hotspot

    Hi all,
    As a hotspot functionality I would like to open a new transaction in a new session with the value at hotspot. For that reason, I am using the FM ABAP4_CALL_TRANSACTION with the option STARTING NEW TASK.
    This FM is not working because Parameter ID is not Maintained for the field (Hotspoted). So no value is passing to new transaction.

  • Feature NUMAP was called with incorrect parameter value PME15

    hi
    i am getting following error while running transaction pb10.
    Feature NUMAP was called with incorrect parameter value PME15
    please help me out.
    regards
    archana

    this might be occur in case there is mismatch of the fields of decision being used in feature maintenance.
    check the feature and the return value , wether the return value is correct or not
    goto PE03->NUMAP check the return value  and check wether the return was configured in number ranges
    eg: if the return value is 01 go to your config and check the number range has been set for "01"
    you gave return value as "01" and the number range has not been set in configuaration for "01" this kind of error s may occur.

  • Printing report that has a parameter with multiple values crashes jvm

    I am using BOE XI 4.0 as an unmanaged RAS.
    I am able to preview a report that has a string discrete parameter that can have multiple values.  If I give it a single value.  It previews fine.  If I give it an empty string it prints all values which is fine.  If I give it two discrete values, it displays just those two.
    However, if I try printing the report to a printer:
    1 parameter value - prints fine.
    2 parameter values - crashes jvm

    I would appreciate some direction on how to do this.  It works in crystal reports for eclipse.

  • How to preset fields in a transaction BP with default values

    Hi!
    I want to fill few fields in transaction BP with default values.
    This should be if there`s a new business partner to insert.
    If i can do this depending on the selected role it was the best
    First i thought on SPA/GPA-parameters ... but then i can`t do it in depence on the selected role.
    In customizing i can tell only if a field should be displayed or not, for input or not, ... but no values to insert.
    Is here anybody with a good idea for me?
    I`ve posted my question first in crm-section but i think here it`s better
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Best regards,
    Ingo

    Hi,
    There is one possibility which requires an enhancement of the
    BDT event ISDAT and a call to the function module
    BUP_BUPA_FIELDVALUES_SET. This means that an ISDAT function module needs to be written (transaction BUS7) which calls the function module BUP_BUPA_FIELDVALUES_SET with the needed values that are to be defaulted. You can read the role value using BUS_PARAMETERS_ISSTA_GET (T_RLTYP).The fields which are possible can be found in the DDIC structure BUSDEFAULT. However this is limited only to the fields inside this structure.
    Thanks and warm regards,
    Smita.

  • CrystalReportViewer: "Missing parameter values with implemented error event

    I'm using the CrystalReportViewer in APS.net (C#), and try to display a report in it.
    I've implemented the error event of the viewer to show the user a different error message than the viewer itself does.
             this.CrystalReportViewer.Error += new CrystalDecisions.Web.ErrorEventHandler(CrystalReportViewer_Error);
          protected void CrystalReportViewer_Error(object source, CrystalDecisions.Web.ErrorEventArgs e)
             var msg = "Error in CrystalReportViewer\r\n{0}".FormatInvariant(e.ErrorMessage);
             throw new InvalidOperationException(msg);
    But.... Now if I want to show a report that has parameters in it, the parameter page does not appear before the report itself. How can I make my code work (without removing the implementation of the error event), so the viewer first shows the parameter page, before showing the actual report?

    And in the Page_Load method:
    this.CrystalReportViewer.Error += new CrystalDecisions.Web.ErrorEventHandler(CrystalReportViewer_Error);
    I've done this so i can show my own error page to the user of the website. Otherwise the CRViewer shows his own error, and I do not want the user of the website to see this 'technical' error.
    So i've implemented the CrystalReportViewer.Error method:
    protected void CrystalReportViewer_Error(object source, CrystalDecisions.Web.ErrorEventArgs e)
       // Missing parameter values.
       var discardToShowParameterPrompt = (e.ErrorMessage.ToUpperInvariant() == "Missing parameter values.".ToUpperInvariant())
         || (e.ErrorMessage.ToUpperInvariant() == "Ontbrekende parameterwaarden.".ToUpperInvariant());
       if (discardToShowParameterPrompt)
          _Log.Debug("The parameter screen should be displayed now.");
       else
          var msg = "Error in CrystalReportViewer: {0}".FormatInvariant(e.ErrorMessage);
          throw new InvalidOperationException(msg);
    If I load a report with no params in the report, the page shows immediately the report.
    If I load a report with params in the report, the params page is shown, the user can enter the param values, and after pressing OK, the report is shown.
    If an error occurs (for example the report cannot connect to the database), the viewer does NOT show the error (because i've implemented the _error event) but my code throws an InvalidOperationException, and this is handled by code so the error is logged to a file, and the user gets a user friendly message on the website.
    If i do not implement the _error event, the user will see the technical error in the crystal reports viewer.
    If I comment out the code where I'm looking for the string "Missing parameter values." (or "Ontbrekende parameterwaarden") the parameter page will not be shown, and an error will be thrown by the Crystal Reports viewer.
    If I put e.handled = true in the _error event, and there is an error (for example the database cannot be found), no error will be thrown, and there is nothing to see in the viewer.
    So for now the only way to get the params page is to implement the _error event the way i've done in the above code, checking the error message on a string value.

  • Issue with variable values while adding report to Bookmarks/Favorites

    Hello All,
    I am able to save the reports from my portal as bookmarks with the appropiate navigation state & variable values for reports which do not have a mandatory value variable with no default value. For all other queries like queries with no mandatory variables or queries containing mandatory variables with default values, this is working fine. Any inputs is appreciated. • URL parameter value with : not displayed correctly on page

    Hi,
    I am working on a page with an interactive report.One of the report columns is hyperlinked to another page (Delete Page).This link passes an id and a title to the Delete page such that its displays a confirmation message to the end user before actually performing the delete.If the title contains a ":" the text after the ":" is not displayed on the page (albeit visible in the URL on the top)
    Is this because the ":" seperates parameters in an APEX URL and therefore the text after the ":" is taken as the next URL parameter?
    How can we solve this problem?
    Regards,
    Priya Jetley

    Hi
    Yes - Apex will see the ":" as a parameter separator and will ignore everything after any that exist in the "with these values" parameter at the end of the url.
    You can get around this in two ways:
    1 - Escape your title - replace ":" with "%3A" in your sql statement
    2 - Do not pass the title in the link but use a computation on the delete page to retrieve this value for display

  • "Missing parameter value" error on autoprinting with CR layout

    Hi all, i had recently run into the following:
    document layouts that work perfectly from preview and after adding a document, dont work if the document is auto printed on add.
    Gives an error:
    missing parameter value
    And in system messages log:
    Error during printing: ensure all parameter values are defined.
    With only @dockey token  present in the layouts (so no other parameter).
    What makes me wonder is that this doesn't happen to all the layouts, most of them works perfectly the same way (only dockey parameter, autoprint is set etc.) but the stock related documents do this on add.
    Any ideas?
    I found a likely issue in note 1466274 but it's listed as fixed in 8.8 PL 13, we are on PL 15. Could reproduce on PL 18.
    Thanks and regards.
    Daniel

    Hi Gordon.
    I could reproduce on the test copy of the db even on different patch levels.
    Can this be the almost same issue as stated in the note? I mean same code problem but at another point?
    Yesterday i found another example:
    uppon exiting the dunning wizard with print and exit option allmost the same error. The difference is that beforehand the same error messages one pops up with the following:
    title:Crystal Reports Windows form viewer
    "A report application server meghibásodott." (this is even with sap b1 gui langugage set to english)
    "The Report application server crashed/broke down(?)"
    Will try to test it on the demo database now..
    Any ideas?
    Thank you.
