Boot.properties file not fetching by weblogic server 10.3.6.0

Hi Team,
I have Installaed weblogic Server 10.3.6.0 and Forms and Reports 11.1.2.2.0. Even though the boot.properties with weblogic credentials is located in Weblogic Domain under security folder, the weblogic server is asking username and password while starting the services.
Environment : Windows Server 2008 R2- 64 bit
Please suggesst what would be the root cause of this issue.
Many thanks in advance!
Kind Regards,
Mohan

  • Package Properties file not Found SCC

    Hello everybody,

    i checked the domain log i found this error;

    thank's .

treat .properties files just like a class file :)
if /classes/ is in your classpath and in that directory you have an x.properties file then:
    ResouceBundle.getBundle("x");
    will return it...
if the x.properties file is in the /classes/com/company/props/ directory then this will act like a package name and
    ResouceBundle.getBundle("com.company.props.x");
    will return it ;)

  • How to upload and download any file from plsql through weblogic server

    hi all,
how to upload and download any file from plsql through weblogic server? i am using oracle 10g express edition and jboss.
    Thanks and Regards,
    MSORA

    hi bala ,
for a windown server u can use VNC (virtual network connection) which opens a session on u r desktop later u can drag and drop form there vice versa and for a linux box you can use Win SCP which helps to open a session with interface to u r desktop in both cases you can upload and down load files very easiy just as we drag and drop items in a simple pc .. we use the same technique...

  • Properties file not found by classloader when using wlappc ant task

I have encountered a problem with the WebLogic Ant task "wlappc". When this task compiles a webmodule that uses the struts 1.1 framework I get the below error. This struts based web module deploys and runs fine on BEA Weblogic 8.1 SP2 as an exploded EAR structure. But when I attempt to precompile all the J2EE modules the struts web module will not compile with wlappc. The project is strutured correctly in a split directory structure. The problem area seems to be that we are using the struts-el (struts-el.jar) classes which need the properties files located in the struts.jar. The classloader seems to space out when running via the wlappc ant task. I tried adjusting the classpath via the "classpath" wlappc ant task attribute - but no success. Has anyone had this or a similiar problem?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance,
    Scott

I've looked at the source code ant it is actually using the current thread's classloader.
The fact is that it works fine when deployed to tomcat 4.1.30, but it fails when deploying on our weblogic managed servers.

  • How can configure .properties file and  log4j on weblogic 8.1 SP5

    Hi,
I know this is not right forum for post this question. But I hope I'll get my perfect answer here.
    I have 2 questions.
    1. Where I'll keep my .properties file in weblogic 8.1 SP 5. means I have one own .properties file which is contains some proxy settings and this .properties resides on .war file(now), But I want move this propeties file outside .war file. So Where I'll keep in weblogic 8.1 SP 5.
    2. How can we configure log4j in weblogic?
    Please reply me.
    Regards,
    Pattanaik

You can add your.properties and log4j.properties to the classpath cant you?
You just need to edit setEnv.cmd (if i remember correctly) in your weblogic server folder to add the folder containing the properties files to the classpath variable.

  • Boot.properties for older version of weblogic

    Hi there,
Would option weblogic.system.StoreBootIdentity=true for java command in startWebLogic script work for Weblogic Server 6.1?
All I want to do is to store an encrypted password in boot.properties instead of having a cleartext password in startWebLogic script. Furthermore, I do not want to keyin the password each time I start the server.
    Thank you
    Ravindran Kanniah

    Hi,
I beleive there is no such facility in 6.1

  • JoltConnectionPool can not start in weblogic server

    Hi
I am trying to run the sample Tuxedo provided application which uses Servlets or Ejb.
Now the Tuxedo Server has been configured and running properly.
I have WebLogic Server installed and had created the JoltSessionPool with name "MAJoltConnectionPool" and had also defined the StartupClass & ShutdonClass.
While defining the JoltSessionPool i had given min services as 1 and max services as 5 and others as default,
and the JoltSessionPool's target is a weblogic managed server which named ct2.
Then i tryed to start the ct2 server on command line such as:
    startManagedWebLogic.cmd ct2 http://localhost:7001
I got an error in starting "MAJoltConnectionPool" but the server ct2 is starting normally.
Anyone who can help me to find out the reason? Thanks a lot.
The Command Line window shown following in the Log:
Failed to invoke startup class "MAJoltPoolStart", java.lang.Exception: Errors in starting the following connection pools :

    Hi
To resolve this problem , you have 2 solutions:
    - modify the config.xml file to add in the tag <security-configuration> the following line :
    <clear-text-credential-access-enabled>true</clear-text-credential-access-enabled>
    or
    - check the checkbox "Clear Text Credential Access Enabled" in the settings for the domain / security / general / advanced
restart the weblogic server to activate this change if necessary (Normaly, no restarts are necessary with weblogic server v10.3.5.0)
Hope this reponse help you (if it's not too late ;-) )
    Laurent.

  • Navigation not working in Weblogic Server but working from JDeveloper.

    Hi
I created a simple application with some page navigations (some declarative and some dynamic using Managed Bean).
The navigation works fine when I run from JDeveloper. (Local System)
So I deployed the application to the WebLogic server (Local system with a domain configured with ADF.)
The pages are getting rendered correctly, bu on button clicks, the navigation is not happening from any of the pages.
Could I have missed something or is there a way to track what the problem might be?
    JDev : 11.1.1.3
Web Logic Server : 11gR1 (1.3) which comes with JDeveloper
    Thanks for any help.

    Hi John
I am not using task flows. I just have some jspx pages defined in the unbounded task flow adfc-config.xml connected with navigation.
I run from JDEveloper by right clicking on the jspx files.
The URL when run from jdeveloper is as follows.
    http://127.0.0.1:7101/SessionsPOC-ViewController-context-root/faces/MainPage
From Weblogic server I am using the link given in the Testing tab of the weblogic administration console.
    The URL is as follows.
    http://10.9.73.103:7001/SessionsPOC-ViewController-context-root (default)
    http://10.9.73.103:7001/SessionsPOC-ViewController-context-root/MainPage.jspx
Actually, the URL given in the weblogic testing tab is not runnable. I am changing the link as follows to be able to run it.
    http://10.9.73.103:7001/SessionsPOC-ViewController-context-root/faces/MainPage.jspx
I have defined the MainPage.jspx in the web.xml 's Welcome page. But it is not taking it I guess.
Also, I am able to run the other page by giving the following url. But the navigation buttons are not working in that page also.
    http://10.9.73.103:7001/SessionsPOC-ViewController-context-root/faces/SecondPage.jspx
    Thanks

The WebLogic Server installation you have referred to in this link is the "developer" distribution which is a simple zip file distribution that has no installer. Putting "FMW" on top of this is not supported. This is documented in the readme on the download site: http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/middleware/11g/wls/README.txt
If you want to learn Oracle Forms, then you need to use a full installer of WebLogic Server.
Try this page here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/weblogic/downloads/wls-main-097127.html and select the "Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.4) + Coherence - Package Installer" for your specific platform:
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/middleware/11g/wls/wls1034_win32.exe
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/linux/middleware/11g/wls/wls1034_linux32.bin
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/solaris/middleware/11g/wls/wls1034_solaris32.bin
or the generic installer if you are not on one of those platforms:
    http://download.oracle.com/otn/nt/middleware/11g/wls/wls1034_generic.jar
** I don't know if WLS 10.3.4 is the correct version to go with the Forms/Reports installer, please check those details for yourself. But the process will be the same if WLS 10.3.3 is required per the certification.

  • HumanTask URI not deployed to Weblogic server correctly

Hi, when I deployed my BPM process with one human task in it to the weblogic server, I can find that the URI for the human task is always empty. I checked all the places I can think about in my project to find the wrong configuration, but no luck. I even let the human task auto-gen all the forms for me. Still empty after deployment. I checked the def for <taskFlowFileLocation> and page configuration in the task flow, and updeploy the project many times in server.
I use JDev11.1.1.5. Anywhere else I should check for the deployment? By the way, I cannot recreate the project from scratch because it is a common project I and my colleagues working on.

Yes, My deployed app includes all my BPM processes and one UI project.
The scary thing is that the deployment sent me error like "Project selected for taskflow deploymet could not be found using file url file:**********.jpr". Of course it cannot find because I had deleted that UI project and point the human task to another task flow definition through the configuration <taskFlowFileLocation> in human task definition xml file.
Am I doing right or I have to change somewhere else in order to point to a new UI form in different UI directory?

  • Properties file not accessible for older requests

    Hi
With use of jar file as external resource, we are making use of some properties from properties file.
Whenever we update the properties file with new properties, after deploying the project - it is observed that for old requests the newly added property is not available.
And in the code, we are accessing the new property which is producing exception when an older request refer to this piece of code.
does it make sense or there might be some other problem that is causing the exception??
(missingresourceexception is the exception thrown - it is referring to the new property entry in the logs as it cannot find a property for that)

    Hi Anuj,
We are putting it in jar file itself. This jar file is added in external resources.
The current situation is - the change is getting reflected for new (request) instances getting created. For already existing instances, it is not.
by the way, on enterprise server, where can we locate the contents of jar - so that we may modify at run-time... or no such provision is there.
    Thanks for your quick response.

  • EAR/WAR File Deployment Query on WEBLOGIC SERVER

    Hi,
We are running weblogic server version 10.3.4.0 where EAR/ WAR files deployed on single server and that has been configured in the current WebLogic Server domain. These applications are up and running fine. We need to deploy a new WAR file on the same domain. My questions are:
@ Whether I can deploy new WAR file without STARTing and STOPing weblogic server instance?
@ When deploying new WAR file, whether it will affect existing deployed files or will it affect any other running services for a fraction of second?
Note: This new WAR file is independent application and will not affect any other services in the future.
    Please assist.
    Thanks,
    Dheeraj

Thank you for your help but the result is still the same.
I deployed the library on weblogic server suggested by you.
File Deployed as library = oracle.adf.desktopintegration.model.ear
    From the folder = C:\Oracle\Middleware\oracle_common\modules\oracle.adf.desktopintegration.model_11.1.1
    It is active.
After this I loaded jdeveloper and deploy the same sample application and found that the result is same.
Pls let me know where I am going wrong.
