BPC Error on dbo.Defaults when enter in the admin console

Hi experts,
We were modifiying the appset web parameters and after that we could not enter in the administration console and the system returns next error: "Error message:Cannot insert duplicate key row in object dbo.defaults with unique index IX_tblDefaults. The statement has been terminated"
We've tried to restart the appset parameters into initial values but we got error again and again.
How can we solve this issue? Do Anybody have the same problem before?

We didn´t enter any record in the tbldefault table.
I suppose this table is fill in automatically when you change the application set web parameters.
We have enter on the server manager to delete the duplicate records on the dob.tbldefault table but we didn´t find any duplicate records on this table. The error make reference to the IX_tbldefauld index.
Can you give me the steps to solve the issue on the server manager?
Other question is, how can we avoid to duplicate records can be saved on the database tblDefault?

"File not Found" error in the admin console for dimension

Hi All,
We are onto the BPC7 MS version and recently we have started facing an error "File Not Found" while trying to access the dimension members from the admin console.
I have checked the "adminapp" folder where all the dimension files should be placed in the system, the files are present in the folder.
The mbr<DIMENSION> tables are also present in the database and have the members intact.
I have also tried with processing the dimensions (NOT processing from the membersheet) and it goes successful, but still face the same "File Not Found" Error.
We have a single appset and a single application.

Where can I check the File path if it is set incorrect?
I am recieving this message for all the dimensions, even when I click on the "maintain dimension members", try to process or even try to copy them i have this pop up showing "file not found".
I have the dimension tables intact at the DB servers and they have the members in them.

Just downloaded JMS (3.6) and the admin console is getting an error...

Upon running the admin console I am getting this error "java.Lang.ClassNotFoundException.javax.help.HelpBroker" for some reason I am not going to be able to get any online help at all???
what is the problem and how can I fix this?

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Exception when deploying application using admin console

Whenever I deploy an application using the admin console window, I get a DistributedExcpetion,
The application gets deployed though! so I am assuming that this is not very critical,
but If somebody can tell me what this is then It would be really helpful.

Thanks for the additional info.
I found 2 similar issues with similar stack traces for WLS 6.1 sp2. One of the issues we could not reproduce, and in the
end the customer reinstalled WLS and the problem went away. The other issue was found internally and is not currently
active. I'm not 100% sure your situation is identical to one of these.
Therefor I suggest the following course of action:
1. Since this is an intermittant problem try reinstalling WLS. If that doesn't help then...
2. open a case with support. It may not be a major issue, but we need to be sure of this.

Null pointer exception when relaunching the admin console after failover

          I am facing a strange type of problem for last few days can you please help

          And Start both managed servers in a cluster

          Observed that transation flow is normal
          Then during Failover the managed server from the primary to the secondary i observed
          that
          While the failover is in process, observe the transaction flow and verify that
          it is not interrupted
          When the failover completes log in to the admin console via the web browser I
          am getting a null pointer exception...

As this is a new issue for me, I believe I had the incorrect approach, maybe you can help me. What I want to do is recover a few files in my desktop, and some information i had on the iCal application and the Mail application as well.As I do not want to do a full migration into this computer (which is not mine) I believe that starting the damaged MBP in Target mode should allow me to search and cop the files I need. But:
1. Can I open the Ical and mail apps to look for the info I need while reading it as an external HD ?
2. Do the target machine (my friends) still need to be updated to ML o Mavs so that it recognizes my MBP as an external drive if starting it in Target mode ? (no migration assistant)

Runtime error with exit FM when statying in the same screen

Hi,
I have written my exit function module for the init function, and now I have a problem with the runtime error when I execute the planning function wihtout exiting BPS. More likely the users would want to stay within the screen to do all the necessary changes, for example variables, and then re-execute the planning function without encountering the runtime error.
Has anyone come across this problem and has resolved it? Have you resolved it with ABAP or the settings from BPS? Please advise.

Hi Anand,
My program refreshes the table entries for every time a user chooses the "Execute planning function" before processing the data from the InfoProvider and then updates the entries to the tables and then updates the buffer. If the user doesn't exit from BPS and then chooses again the "Execute planning function", a runtime error will result about duplicate table entries because the existing entries were not refreshed because the user did not exit from BPS since the last action.
Basically the user has to exit BPS and enter back in BPS to choose "Execute planning function" to process data to avoid runtime error of table entry duplication when processing the same planning function.
I think I have to add code to my Exit FM to detect the user's action to refreshes the table entries everytime the user chooses to "Execute planning function" when staying in the same screen.
Is there another approach to this?

Firefox will not remember my customized options. I set my homepage and privacy options and when I close the browser and reopen, it will be back to Firefox default homepage.

Sounds like you could have a locked or corrupt preferences file. Try this article for steps to fix that - [[Preferences are not saved]].

If you are having WiFi problems it is necessary to isolate whether the problem is with your network or your iPad. Note: Do NOT consider your network to be blameless if some other devices can connect to it.
First, test your iPad on some other networks: a friends, Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, etc.
If it works well there then the problem is probably with your network. Try restarting your WiFi router by removing power for 30 seconds. If that does not help check for a firmware update for your router. If none exists which corrects the problem consider replacing the router.
If your iPad does not function well on other networks it possibly has a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support or visit an Apple store for evaluation. They can provide a replacement if your iPad is bad.
If you need more help please give the make, model, and version of your WiFi router and how you have it configured.

No, you do not have to set anything special. That would then indicate an issue with your network.
Make sure DNS is set to automatic (settinga - general - network). If on wifi try ethernet. Reboot ATV and router.
If it persist, get a proper report of the network by going to istumbler (Mac) or netstumbler (PC), look for signal strength and noise.

WLS 10.3 on Windows 2008: I configured one of my managed servers for SSL and I'm able to reach deployments via browser and the keystore/certificate chain I have setup. It seems like you did not update the trust store of your AdminServer. It acts as a ssl client of your managed server and cannot verify its identity certificate.

Error occured while searching for users in OIM admin console.

Hi Experts,
I deployed code from dev environment in to Test environment using deployment manager in OIM and also completed metadata import using weblogic metadataimport utility.Then when itried to search for users in OIM admin console. I am getting the following error.
Error messager:
ADFC-10001: cannot instantiate class 'oracle.iam.identitytaskflow.backing.taskflows.modifyuser.ModifyUserView'
ADF_FACES-60097:For more information, please see the server's error log for an entry beginning with: ADF_FACES-60096:Server Exception during PPR, #12
Did any body faced this issue?

I've faced same error !!

Error 6072 trying to start the admin console

I get the following error trying to authenticate locally on the server:
security ( 6072): for host caedir02.cae.ca trying to GET /admin-serv/authenticate, admin40_host_ip_check reports: Unauthorized host ip=::ffff:142.39.20.22, connection rejected
I am running Directory Server 5.2

So it looks like your ip doesn't have access to authenticate to the server. the ip=::fff: preceding the ip address is very odd looking.
My suggestion would be to modify your configuration information for the admin server by editing the LDAP entry containing the attribute nsAdminAccessHosts to include the FQDN of your machine.
If that doesn't work change that attribute to a *.
If that doesn't work I don't know what to tell you. If you do want to restrict access you will need to eventually remove the star and keep tweaking the entries until you can get access.
