BPC10MS SP12 - Agregate are not calculated

Hi experts,
Hope someone can help on this problem.
I have a YTD model.
We input data on base level,
But, while we try to retrieve any agregate of any dimension, data are not calculated. and data disappeared :-(
Any tips on this to help ?
Tks a lot,
Olivia.

Olivia,
This may seem like a silly question, but do you have the hierarchies defined on the dimensions?  Did things work before and just stop working?  If you have some screenshots of the dimensions or where you see the problem, that would be helpful, too...

  • Invoice Days are not calculating when a Days limit exists.

    Hello,
    We are having an issue with both our Customer and Vendor invoices.
    When using a 'payment term' with a 'Days limit' the Due date is not calculating at all.  The 'Days' field in the 'Payment tab' just comes up as a blank.
    This functionality used to work, something must have changed in the system.
    This is how I have the Payment term setup.
    ZY87 (days limit 10).  120 days invoice date (10th & 25th)
    Default for Baseline Date = Document Date
    Fixed Date = 10, Additional months = 4
    ZY87 (days limit 25)  120 days invoice date (10th & 25th)
    Default for Baseline date = Document Date
    Fixed Date = 25, Additional months = 4.
    When I choose this payment term in the invoice, I get no value to show up in the 'Days' box and when I save it, the Due date becomes the Baseline Date.
    Any idea why?
    thanks for your help!

  • SNP Planned order start and end dates are not calculated correctly

    Hello SNP Guru's
    The SNP planned orders generated after the Heuristics run, have a start and end date based on the Activity Duration (Fixed), while the resource consumption is based on the Bucket Consumption (Variable), which is correct.
    The Activity Duration (Fixed) is based on the BOM Base Quantity. So if the Activity Duration = 1 day, and if the order quantity is more than a day, the start and end dates, still shows as 1 day. So no matter what is the order quantity, the start and end dates is always = 1 day.
    Does anyone have any experience in implementing any code to change the start and end dates on SNP Planned Order?
    Seems like it should work as standard.
    Am i missing something?
    Thanks,
    Mangesh

    Dear Mangesh,
    SNP is a infinite planning tool. If you have defined fixed duration to be 1 DAY in the activity, no matter how many quantity you input for your planned order, the order will last for one day. If the resourced is overloaded, you then run capacity levelling to
    banlance the capacity. What your expected beahavior happens in PPDS planning.

  • HS.Exp not calculating in HFM

    We have a account calculated through the bus rules. My understanding is that the rules are run when a Calculation or Consolidation is performed in workspace. There have been a few instances where some of the accounts are not calculating correctly/at all. I know the consolidation is run at several levels of review. Any reason why the account (FCF_ConCap_Flow below) wouldn't be calculated correctly? It's a simple calculation -
    HS.Exp "A#FCF_ConCap_Flow = A#FCF_ConCap_Ex_Claim - Y#Prior.P#Last.A#FCF_ConCap_Ex_Claim"
    HS.Exp "A#FCF_ConCap_Ex_Claim = A#Con_Cap - A#Claims"
    ** Con_Cap & Claims are part of the account hierarchy
    Thanks

    Unless I'm reading this wrong... your logic looks flawed
    To simplify:
    Flow = [ConCapXClaim] - [Prior Year ConCapXClaim]
    ConCapXClaim = [ConCap]-[Claims]
    By setting claims after Flow uses the claim account, you're going to wind up with a different result:
    Start:
    ConCapXClaim = 10
    Prior Year ConXapXClaim = 5
    ConCap = 7
    Claims = 5
    So
    Flow = [10] - [5]
    ConCapXClaim = [7] - [5]
    At the end:
    Flow = 5
    ConCapXClaim = 2
    Now lets say you calculate again
    Flow = [2] - [5]
    ConCapXClaim = [7] - [2]
    Now Flow = -3
    Calculating again will leave the Flow at -3, but you see the issue. You have to calculate twice to get the final results. Depending on your data the intermediate step may look like your calculation didn't work.

  • Tax And pricing not calculating automatically on Purchase Order

    Hi All,
    While creating a Purchase order the Taxes are not calculating automatically .We need to manually enter the Tax on the Purchase order .The quantity conversion is not flowing properly so it is effecting the invoice receipt (not distributing the tax  on the invoice.Can any one please tell me the problem or the configuration to check this issue .
    Thanks in Advance

    Hi
    Please check all these below setting.
    1) Which tax procedure using.
    If TAXINJ  - Then check tax code using FTXP for valid tax code which you are using in PO.
    2) If TAXINN then check FV13 - for key combination such as Vendor /Material/Plant or Tax classification or Tax code/Vendor.
    depending upon your are using.
    3) Check Tax code is assigned to co code in Logistics - General-Tax on Goods Movements-India Condition-Based Excise Determination-Assign Tax Code to Company Codes
    4) Check J1ID for material & Chapter ID, Vendor Excise details, Excise determination.
    Once all this is ok then tax value will flow in to PO.

  • SSRS 2008 Column Chart with Calculated Series (moving average) "formula error - there are not enough data points for the period" error

    I have a simple column chart grouping on 1 value on the category axis.  For simplicity's sake, we are plotting $ amounts grouping by Month on the category axis.  I right click on the data series and choose "Add calculated series...".  I choose moving average.  I want to move the average over at least 2 periods.
    When I run the report, I get the error "Formula error - there are not enough data points for the period".  The way the report is, I never have a guaranteed number of categories (there could be one or there could be 5).  When there is 2 or more, the chart renders fine, however, when there is only 1 value, instead of suppressing the moving average line, I get that error and the chart shows nothing.
    I don't think this is entirely acceptable for our end users.  At a minimum, I would think the moving average line would be suppressed instead of hiding the entire chart.  Does anyone know of any workarounds or do I have to enter another ms. connect bug/design consideration.
    Thank you,
    Dan

    I was having the same error while trying to plot a moving average across 7 days. The work around I found was rather simple.
    If you right click your report in the solution explorer and select "View Code" it will give you the underlying XML of the report. Find the entry for the value of your calculated series and enter a formula to dynamically create your periods.
    <ChartFormulaParameter Name="Period">
                      <Value>=IIf(Count(Fields!Calls.Value) >= 7 ,7, (Count(Fields!Calls.Value)))</Value>
    </ChartFormulaParameter>
    What I'm doing here is getting the row count of records returned in the chart. If the returned rows are greater than or equal to 7 (The amount of days I want the average) it will set the points to 7. If not, it will set the number to the amount of returned rows. So far this has worked great. I'm probably going to add more code to handle no records returned although in my case that shouldn't happen but, you never know.
    A side note:
    If you open the calculated series properties in the designer, you will notice the number of periods is set to "0". If you change this it will overwrite your custom formula in the XML.

  • Some Calculations are not working in Discoverer 10g after upgrade from 4.1

    Hi Gurus,
    We are recently upgraded Oracle Discovere 10g from 4.1, some calculations are not working in Discoverer 10g. I appreciate if you could fix below calculation(s) in 10g.
    CASE WHEN TRUNC("Expenditure Item Month") = '31-JAN2007' THEN SUM(Wtd Qty A) WHEN TRUNC("Expenditure Item Month") = '28-FEB-2007' THEN SUM(Wtd Qty A) WHEN TRUNC("Expenditure Item Month") = '31-MAR-2007' THEN SUM(Wtd Qty A) END
    Thanks & Regards
    Vikram

    Sabra,
    Not sure exactly what this might be... there could be an issue there.
    Please make sure that you review the upgrade.log. Are there any errors / warnings?
    Also, you might wanna peek the Metalink Note:262623.1 - Master Note for OracleAS Portal Upgrade Issues, where you'll find some nice things where to start looking at.
    Later you may wanna open a Service Request into the Oracle Support.
    I hope it helps...
    Cheers,

  • Odata error: Parameters are not allowed for entity "calculationView" as it is not a calculation or analytical view

    I have created scripted calculation view
    I can add parameter in aforesaid calculation view
    It fetches me right result
    But when I am to call aforesaid calculation view from odata service I am getting following error:
    ERROR      zcustsearch/services/AutoComplete.xsodata
               Parameters are not allowed for entity "calculationView" as it is not a calculation or analytical view.
    Any solutions

    Don't reference it via the catalog object. Otherwise only the runtime Column View will be seen. Instead you should specific the view as the repository object.  This means no schema and use package path::view name.  Like this example from the SHINE content:
    service namespace "sap.hana.democontent.epmNext"  {
       "sap.hana.democontent.epmNext.models::CV_SALESORDER_YEAR_COMPARISON"
        as "salesYear"
      keys generate local "ID"
        aggregates always
        parameters via entity "InputParams";

    Thank you .

    The app, if not restricted, may be hidden in your folders.  If you go to settings, general, reset, reset home screen layout, you can rule that out.
    Does your restore give you a specific error?  If so, see http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3694 and http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1275
    You can also restore from your iPod, by going to settings, general, reset, reset all content and settings, but make sure that you have created a backup beforehand.
