BPEL 11g error consuming UCM SOAP service.

Hi,
Has anyone consumed the search.wsdl from UCM 11g in BPEL or OSB 11g?
Consume search.wsdl from BPEL 11g
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Shaukat

I'm sorry.  I didn't notice.
1) Go to SICF.
2) Click execute.
3) Expand the tree:
sap --> bc --> srt
Make sure that everything in <b>srt</b> is active.  You might have to have your Basis team do this.

  • ERROR Consuming external Web Services from JDE E1

    Hello everybody,
    I am trying to consume external web services from JD Edwards Enterprise One. For that, I have followed "Consuming External Web Services Tutorial".
    I have followed all the steps successfully, but when the final test called from an interactive application to the business function that I had created in C get the following error messages in the log file:

    I have tested:
    1) Incorrect OCM for BSFNs.
    Mapped to development Enterprise Server, so it was failing to find the BSFN.
    2) Increase heap space for Java.

    4) Link the Business function with its parent DLL (CALLBSFN.dll)

    Hello again,
    I have modied OCM record with a correct BSSV (the name and the port number were wrong).
    And other thing that I have tested is change the parent DLL with a new DLL created by me (Object Name: CALLWS.dll, Product Code: 0, Product System Code:0) and the error is:

    It seems like it is not possible to find the CALLWS dll... Althought it was built and compiled without errors and warnings...
    I would like to debug the Business Function in C from Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, but I can't, because breakpoints are disable.
    I have followed the following manual:
    E1: BSFN: Debugging Business Functions Using Visual Studio .NET 2003, 2005 and 2008 (I have founded it in Oracle Support (Metalinki)).
    And here they say:
    "It is a normal feature of visual studio 2003/2005 to disable break point at the start of a debug session and display a warning saying no symbol is loaded. Break point will only be activated on demand when the code to debug is loaded in to the runtime memory".
    I think is necessary add the referency with parent DLL (in my case, CALLWS.dll) but I don't know how can I do it. I have tested to insert in Business Function's source code the following line:
    "#pragma comment(lib,"CALLWS.dll")" to force to include it, but when it was built:

    Hello,
    what is the version of SAP_BASIS ? Your example is so called Plain SOAP call. And if you have not very young patch, SAP basis supports only WS-RM for asynchronnous calls, which is something different.
    More can be found on wikis, e.g. http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ABAPConn/Plain+SOAP.

  • 11G: Error invoking adf-binding service in composite with JAVA API

    Hello,
    i'm trying to invoke a asyncrhonous composite via JAVA API. My composite has two services: WS and ADF-BC SERVICE both of two are wired with a MEDIATOR that connects with two BPEL Process depending on two rules.
    I need to invoke a process depending of the input: if the input is A i invoke the process 1 and if the input is B I invoke the process 2. I use the Mediator instead of switch because it's an example in order to build a complex decission system then.
    R1 and R2 are two static rules in the Mediator.
    R1 = $in.payload/client:process/client:tiposiniestro = 'A'
    R2 = $in.payload/client:process/client:tiposiniestro = 'B'
    And my XSD is:
    <schema attributeFormDefault="unqualified"
         elementFormDefault="qualified"
         targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/POC_jws/ProcesoApertura/ProcesoApertura"
         xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
    <element name="process">
              <complexType>
                   <sequence>
                        <element name="tiposiniestro" type="string"/>
                   </sequence>
              </complexType>
         </element>
         <element name="processResponse">
              <complexType>
                   <sequence>
                        <element name="result" type="string"/>
                   </sequence>
              </complexType>
         </element>
    </schema>
    If i invoke with SOAP, sending the message:
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
         <soap:Body xmlns:ns1="http://xmlns.oracle.com/POC_jws/ProcesoApertura/ProcesoApertura">
              <ns1:process>
                   <ns1:tiposiniestro>A</ns1:tiposiniestro>
    </ns1:process>
    </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    the composite works. But if i try to invoke with JAVA, with the code:
    String payload5 = "<process xmlns=\"http://xmlns.oracle.com/POC_jws/ProcesoApertura/ProcesoApertura\">" +
         "     <tiposiniestro>A</tiposiniestro>" +
         "</process>";
    String conversationId = UUID.randomUUID().toString();
    NormalizedMessage nm = new NormalizedMessageImpl();
    nm.addProperty(NormalizedMessage.PROPERTY_CONVERSATION_ID, conversationId);
    Map<String,Object> payload = nm.getPayload();
    payload.put("payload", pPayLoad);
    nm.setPayload(payload);
    service.post(pOperation, nm);
    i get the following error:
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String cannot be cast to org.w3c.dom.Element
    How can I send the message via JAVA API using the mediator in my composite?
    Is there any important difference in the format between send a request with SOAP or JAVA?
    Thanks in advance.

    Talking about the dynamic rules in the Mediator, Oracle documentation says:
    "As of now, only SOAP bindings are supported. There is a dummy SOAP binding in the composite.xml file. This endpoint is overridden by Mediator in runtime through NM property. So, outbound services can be called only over SOAP."
    Is it valid for static rules as well? I means, how can i use Java API to invoke a Composite with a Mediator as first element? I always get the message:
    +"java.lang.ClassCastException: java.lang.String cannot be cast to org.w3c.dom.Element"+
    Thanks again

  • BPEL 11g - Error using FileAdpter + loop while

    Hi
    I'm using FileAdpter to read some files, each file contain between 50 and 150 records, after the adapter reads records and transform the msg, the payload is send to a Bpel Proccess.
    My Bpel iterate over the records using a while activity, the problem happens when the numbers of records is grater then 91, my composite never finish, and appear Running status in console.
    Inside the while activity i put the ora:getElemnt(node, index) to retrieve the current row, if a just place a static value inside the loop it's run perfectly, but using getElment or /someXpath[$index] the bpel never ends.
    Should i have to config in Bpel server to work with large documents ?
    (sorry for my poor english) :)
    Any ideas guys ?

    Hi Klemp,
    No need of configuring the server.
    11g can handle giga bytes.
    I think in BPEL activities expressions $index will not work.(as of my knowledge these works in XSLT only, I mean $var and exists() function these kind of things..), You have to use like bpws:getVariableData("Index") insted of $index
    you can define variables and you can use them as indexes while retrieving data.
    Like
    <assign name="AssignIndexAndCount">
          <copy>
            <from expression="ora:countNodes('MyVariable','PartName','/ns1:Var_Input/ns5:Id')"/>
            <to variable="CountActivities"/>
          </copy>
          <copy>
            <from expression="'1'"/>
            <to variable="Index"/>
          </copy>
        </assign>
    <while name="WhileName"
               condition="bpws:getVariableData('Index')&lt;=bpws:getVariableData('CountActivities')">
          <sequence name="CraeteOrderNotifications">
            <assign name="AssignIndexes">
                <from variable="inputVariable" part="payload"
                      query='/ns3:MyEBM/ns3:DataArea/ns3:Var1/ns4:PersonDetails[bpws:getVariableData("Index")]/ns4:PhnNumber'/>

                <from expression="bpws:getVariableData('Index')+1"/>
                <to variable="Index"/>
              </copy>
            </assign>

  • TNS: lost contact error consuming https web services

    Hi,
    I'm trying this piece of pl/sql code and I'm getting TNS: lost contact error while trying to retrieve soap response. What could be wrong? I'm using oracle 10.2.0.1.0 database. Thanks in advance.
    declare

    peticion UTL_HTTP.req;
    respuesta UTL_HTTP.resp;

    begin
    envio := 'xxx'; -- soap request
    Utl_Http.Set_Response_Error_Check ( enable => true );
    Utl_Http.Set_Detailed_Excp_Support ( enable => true );
    utl_http.set_wallet('file:/oracle/wallets','xxx');
    peticion := UTL_HTTP.begin_request ('https://xxx','POST','HTTP/1.1');
    UTL_HTTP.set_header(peticion, 'Content-Type', 'text/xml');
    UTL_HTTP.set_header(peticion, 'Content-Length', LENGTH(envio));
    UTL_HTTP.set_header(peticion, 'SOAPAction','');
    UTL_HTTP.write_text(peticion,envio);
    respuesta := UTL_HTTP.get_response(peticion);
    UTL_HTTP.read_text(respuesta, envio);
    UTL_HTTP.end_response(respuesta);
    dbms_output.put_line(envio);
    exception
    when Utl_Http.Request_Failed then
    Dbms_Output.Put_Line ( 'Request_Failed: ' || Utl_Http.Get_Detailed_Sqlerrm );
    when Utl_Http.Http_Server_Error then
    Dbms_Output.Put_Line ( 'Http_Server_Error: ' || Utl_Http.Get_Detailed_Sqlerrm );
    when Utl_Http.Http_Client_Error then
    Dbms_Output.Put_Line ( 'Http_Client_Error: ' || Utl_Http.Get_Detailed_Sqlerrm );
    when others then
    Dbms_Output.Put_Line ('Otros: ' || SQLERRM);
    end;

    The problem is a database bug:
    Bug 5575771 UTL_HTTP cannot handle https connections without a content-length
    If UTL_HTTP is used to retrieve an HTTPS response with no content-length, it
    throws an ORA-12547 on the final read (if the final read is shorter than the
    buffer supplied).
    Workaround:
    Include a Content-Length section on all responses.
    (This may not be possible since some responses may not
    be under your control)

  • SSL Error while Consuming Java build SOAP services using Dotnet Console App

    Hi, I want to consume a SOAP service developed in JAVA. I don't have any control on Service side. I have to just consume the SOAP service using my client Application which is in DotNet Console Application using C#. Here is the detail about the service:
    1. The service has SSL configured.
    2. End point looks like: https://xyz.com:443
    3. I am able to connect the service using SOAP UI Tool by configuring the Tool with the certs given by Java developer.
    4. Basically there are two certs used, one for "client authentication" purpose and the second cert is for "WS security" purpose.
    5. When i add the WSDL to my client app as a service Reference, the generated App.config file looks as shown below:
    <configuration>
    system.serviceModel>
    <bindings>
    <basicHttpBinding>
    <binding name="Hello_HTTPBinding">
    </binding>
    </basicHttpBinding>
    </bindings>
    <client>
    <endpoint address="http://localhost:8080/" binding="basicHttpBinding"
    bindingConfiguration="Hello_HTTPBinding"
    contract="Proxy_Hello" name="Hello_HTTPPort" />
    </client>
    </system.serviceModel>
    </configuration>
    6. Basically I need to pass two certs, one cert used for "client authentication" purpose and the second cert is used for "WS security purpose".
    7. I have changed the above client configuration as below marked in RED color text:
    <configuration>
    system.serviceModel>
    <bindings>
    <basicHttpBinding>
    <binding name="Hello_HTTPBinding">
    <security mode="TransportWithMessageCredential" >
    <transport clientCredentialType="Certificate" proxyCredentialType="Basic" realm="" />
    <message clientCredentialType="Certificate" algorithmSuite="Basic128" />
    </security>
    </binding>
    </basicHttpBinding>
    </bindings>
    <client>
    <endpoint address="https://xyz.com:443"
    binding="basicHttpBinding"
    bindingConfiguration="Hello_HTTPBinding"
    contract="Proxy_Hello" name="Hello_HTTPPort" behaviorConfiguration="NewBehavior"/>
    </client>
    <behaviors>
    <endpointBehaviors>
    <behavior name="NewBehavior">

  • XMII WebService shows error as - SOAP Service could not be loaded: null

    Dear Friends,
       I'm doing the xMII <-> XI <-> RFC scenario with the reference of the blog: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/8703. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] I just create an asyncronous scenario. Sender with SOAP adapter and receiver with RFC adapter. After creating the WSDL file from the scenario, I stored it in the xMII server path D:XISendere10099xMII_integration_1_Outbound_MI.wsdl. Then in the WebService action block of xMII BLT, I gave the URL as this file path, user name and password of XI server and click Next. Then I got the error message as SOAP Service could not be loaded: null.
       Please give the solution for this issue.
    Regards,
    Jagan.

    Dear Selvam,
       Actually I checked those things already. Everything is fine. I executed already HTTP <-> XI <-> xMII scenario and it was working fine. I checked with SendSMS.wsdl file now. That is also working fine. I am attaching the WSDL file, which I am using, for reference. This file is working fine in SOAPSonar and data posted in SAP R/3 table. But it is showing the error in xMII as "SOAP Service could not be loaded: null".

  • SOAP service could not be loaded: premature end of file

    Hi,
    I am trying to call some web services using the Web Service action in the logic editor, but I am always getting some errors. For instance, for an online service (e.g. http://webservices.imacination.com/distance/Distance.jws) I am getting:
    "SOAP service could not be loaded: Premature end of file."
    I've tried 3 different web services that are available out there, and no result. I've laso tried writing it like this:
    http://webservices.imacination.com/distance/Distance.jws/ or
    http://webservices.imacination.com/distance/Distance.jws?wsdl
    , but the result was the same.
    I've also tried a web service that's currently deployed on my machine, using Tomcat. Here, I'm getting some slightly different errors:
    http://localhost:8080/epcis-repository-0.2.0/capture/
    SOAP service could not be loaded: the element type "HR" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "</hr>"
    http://localhost:8080/epcis-repository-0.2.0/capture or
    http://localhost:8080/epcis-repository-0.2.0/capture?wsdl
    SOAP service could not be loaded: WSDLEXception (at /html): faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Expected element 'definitions'.
    As a note, this web service that I have deployed locally is also available online (http://demo.accada.org/epcis/capture), and if I try out this one, the error is again:
    SOAP service could not be loaded: Premature end of file.
    As far as I could tell, the /epcis/capture webservice is document/literal, so I don't think this should be a problem. I have read other posts about people having similar problems, but I could not find the answer to my problem...
    Can anyone please help?
    Thanks in advance!
    Angela

    Hi,
    Thanks a lot, everyone, for your answers! Yes, the firewall and the "rpc/encoded" encoding might explain why the first two web services did not work...
    However, it does not explain why the web service installed locally does not work, since it is "document/literal" encoded, as far as I could tell..... And unfortunately, this one is the one that I need to connect to (the others I was only using for testing). Again, this is the error message that I get:
    SOAP service could not be loaded: WSDLEXception (at /html): faultCode=INVALID_WSDL: Expected element definitions'.
    Parts of the wsdl file are copied bellow, and I can't see anything wrong with it (certainly no <definitions/> missing):
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!-- EPCIS QUERY SERVICE DEFINITIONS -->
    <wsdl:definitions xmlns="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/" xmlns:apachesoap="http://xml.apache.org/xml-soap" xmlns:epcis="urn:epcglobal:epcis:xsd:1" xmlns:epcisq="urn:epcglobal:epcis-query:xsd:1" xmlns:epcglobal="urn:epcglobal:xsd:1" xmlns:impl="urn:epcglobal:epcis:wsdl:1" xmlns:soapenc="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/" xmlns:wsdl="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/" xmlns:wsdlsoap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/wsdl/soap/" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" targetNamespace="urn:epcglobal:epcis:wsdl:1">
      <wsdl:binding name="EPCISServiceBinding" type="impl:EPCISServicePortType">
        <wsdlsoap:binding style="document" transport="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http"/>
        <wsdl:operation name="getQueryNames">
          <wsdlsoap:operation/>
          <wsdl:input>
            <wsdlsoap:body use="literal"/>
          </wsdl:input>
          <wsdl:output>
            <wsdlsoap:body use="literal"/>
          </wsdl:output>
        </wsdl:operation>
    </wsdl:binding>
    </wsdl:definitions>
    As a side note, I now get the same error message if I try to connect from outside the company's firewall to the same web service available on the internet (http://demo.accada.org/epcis/capture?wsdl).
    Does anyone have any more ideas?
    Thank you once again in advance!
    Angela

  • Urgent - Error while executing the UCM component service

    Hi,
    I am working on Oracle UCM 11g and created a component service by extending RevisionImplementor class. The service is created using the Component Wizard. I need to execute business logic and update the revision lable while submiiting the Check In of new content or doing check out and check in functionality.
    To execute the service I am using a command <$executeService("Edit_Revision_Label")$> which is written in a .htm resource file. I am getting the following error (the error log is given below)
    I have admin privileges on local environment and while creating the component service I have given selected all (admin) privileges.

  • Proxy Error while consuming backend web service

    Hello,
    I try to consume erp backend web services (generated on existing rfcs) with a web dynpro (java) application and get the following error:
    Service call exception; nested exception is: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (502) Proxy Error ( The ISA Server denied the specified Uniform Resource Locator (URL).  ). The requested URL was:"http://anyExampleUrl"
    The called backend service and the portal server reside in the network so no access through the ISA server is required. Consuming the same services by .NET applications works fine.
    Do you have any hints?
    Cheers, Dennis

    Hello there,
    Check the same webservice is working fine with a SOAP UI, especially the request and response are fine. Then try with the application.

  • Error when consuming a web service in CF 11

    I am consuming a web service in ColdFusion what was written in .NET.  Some methods of the web service work fine, but some we get the below error.  We have identified the issue is the name of one of the properties in the web service appears to be the issue.  The property name is ID.  This is a very common property name so I would think someone has run across this before.  It appears that maybe ID is a default property for Axis?  I can dump the method that works and I see there is a getID() method with a return type of org.apache.axis.types.Id.
    If we change the name of the property to something other than ID it works, but this will cause us to refactor a lot of code.
    Here is the error I get when I try to call GetRoles method, which contains an ID property:
    Cannot perform web service invocation GetRoles. The fault returned when invoking the web service operation is:

    I am running CF 11 Update 4.

    I am not passing any parameters to the method (it has no parameters).  On the ColdFusion side I do not use i1 anywhere.  I will check with the .net developer on Monday to see if he is using it anywhere in his code.  If he is he is using in consistently as the only methods that work from his service are those that do not have an ID property.  All services with an ID property give me the same error message.

  • BPEL build error when invoke an extrenal Web Service that returns an Array

    Hello,
    I built with JDeveloper a web service that returns an Array of Java Bean classes and I try to invoke this web service from a BPEL process. The wsdl file is automatically generated by the JDev. When I built the BPEl project I obtained the following error:
    [bpelc] [Error] :-1:-1: src-resolve.4.2: Error resolving component 'SOAP-ENC:Array'. It was detected that 'SOAP-ENC:Array' is in namespace 'http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/', but components from this namespace are not referenceable from schema document 'http://malangiu-ro:8988/cde-Project-context-root/CdeFactoryWS?WSDL'. If this is the incorrect namespace, perhaps the prefix of 'SOAP-ENC:Array' needs to be changed. If this is the correct namespace, then an appropriate 'import' tag should be added to 'http://malangiu-ro:8988/cde-Project-context-root/CdeFactoryWS?WSDL'.

    Regards,
    Marinel

    Hi,
    BPEL and BPEL PM do not have a good support for SOAPENC-Array: it would be very difficult to create such an array in BPEL or to receive it and manipulate it.
    The (unfortunately very intrusive) work around is to change the WSDL of the service to use a XML type defined using XML schema. This is all the more painful that JDev 9.0.4 does not have strong support for complex types.
    In general though, I would highly recommend this best practice:
    1) Start by define the WSDL contract first
    2) Then generate the server side skeleton to implement it
    3) Use BPEL as the client to this contract.
    By starting with the contract first, you make sure that 1) your interfaces are clean and coarse grained.
    2) things like java objects, sessions, etc to not leak through the interface (which would be the worst thing that could happen because it would closely link the client and the server.
    Sorry for not being more helpful. This will get radically cleaner in Oracle AS 10.1.3.
