Hi,
I've got the same error clicking on XPathLibrary or on WSIF.
Have you ever heard about a reason for this error or a solution?
In the past the BPEL Engine worked fine but some days before the local admin called me to help saving his work.
I tried but some errors are the result.
Regards
Reinhard

    Hi guys:
    I got exactly the same error. I recently installed BPEL Process Manager for Developers 10g Release 2 (10.1.2) in windows XP.
    The default setting for BPEL VM memory is Xms512m -Xmx512m -Xmn300m. I tried to set maximum size to 1024 but I had this error.
    Error occurred during initialization of VM
    Could not reserve enough space for object heap
    if any body can suggest a solution will be great .
    Thanks.

    When i check wftask table in database , acquiredby column it shows entry as bpeladmin
    Following is the code snippet that i am using to perform the task
    Task objTask=wfSvcClient.getTaskService().acquireTask(wfCtx,"a7a61c38dd54a6cb:d9506a8:121a07d45ee:-7aa7");
         objTask=wfSvcClient.getTaskService().addComment(wfCtx, "a7a61c38dd54a6cb:d9506a8:121a07d45ee:-7aa7", "abc123");
         List assigneeGroupLst=objTask.getSystemAttributes().getAssigneeGroups();
         String assigneeGroup=null;
         if(null!=assigneeGroupLst && assigneeGroupLst.size()>0){
              assigneeGroup=((IdentityType)assigneeGroupLst.get(0)).getId();
         SystemMessageAttributesType sysAttr=objTask.getSystemMessageAttributes();
         sysAttr.setProtectedTextAttribute1(assigneeGroup);
         wfSvcClient.getTaskService().updateTask(wfCtx, objTask);
    The context created is for user BPELAdmin user.
    Do i need to give any rights to bpeladmin? Or is there some other way of doing it.
    Any help appreciated !!!
    Regards,
    Bhavik

    Hi Anirudh,
    Thanks for quick reply.
    I have a requirement where based on certain condition i need to update the task and reassign it.
    There is a batch that runs and performs the task. While doing so i dont have any info as to whom
    the task is assigned.
    So i am using bpeladmin to perform the task.
    If task is assigned to user and i try to update the task using bpeladmin then am able to do so.
    But if the task is assigned to Group i am getting the error. If task is assigned to user, i am able to
    acquire the task but not able to update the task.
    While updation it shows the task has been acquired by some other user.
    Is there any other way by which i can implement the same ?
    Regards,
    Bhavik

  • Security error - User is not allowed to execute Proces - Resolved

    Enabled security on my domain by editing message-handlers.xml :
    <inbound-flow>
    <!-- <message-handler id="default" />-->
    <message-handler id="security" />
    </inbound-flow>
    commented out <property id="SecuredProcesses" > .. </property> to apply security to all processes.
    Now when I initiate process through BPELConsole I tick the WS-Security and use bpeladmin/welcome1 as credentials (I'm logged into console as this), I get the following error. In fact I get the very same error if I make up a username/password.
    <2007-10-24 08:17:41,343> <ERROR> <archi2.collaxa.cube> <BaseCubeSessionBean::lo

    ORABPEL-02175
    In bpel.xml of the process itself I have this:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>
    <BPELSuitcase>
    <BPELProcess id="SQTest2" src="SQTest2.bpel">
    <partnerLinkBindings> ....snip...

    <property name="pw" encryption="plaintext">welcome1</property>
    </preferences>
    </BPELProcess>
    </BPELSuitcase>
    If I don't supply username/password then I get "Could not apply security [No username provided, security expects user]" which sounds right enough.
    I'm using the default authentication scheme system-jazn-data.xml and using 10.1.3.3 patchset on linux.

    My own fault, putting user credentials in wrong place in bpel.xml:
    <?xml version = '1.0' encoding = 'UTF-8'?>

    Although the versions 10.1.3.4 and 10.1.3.3 are close and should be able to use 10.1.3.4 JDev for most 10.1.3.3 development, the human tasks is the one exception. 10.1.3.3 had a few bugs fixed therefore the jar file used in JDev 10.1.3.4 may not be compatible with 10.1.3.3.
    I would either use JDev 10.1.3.3 or upgrade SOA Suite to 10.1.3.4

  • Human Task in Compensation Handler - Error in Compilation

    Hi,
    I am developing a BPEL flow in which i need to have a Human Task in a BPEL Flow's Compensation Handler.
    The compiling fails saying receive from the human task has e a createInstance='no'.
    If i make it 'yes' (just to check) it fails saying createInstance is already made 'yes' in the main receive which instantiates the process itself.
    May I know if it is a bug? I am using Jdeveloper Studio 10.1.3.3.0.4157
    Is there any workaround for this?
    Thanks,
    Pavan.
    If not, how wld

    Hi Anirudh,
    Thanks for quick reply.

  • Fault/Error Handling in Human Task

    Hi,
    We are using Oracle BPM 11.1.1.3.
    1. I create "synchronous" BPM process containing Human Task. Is synchronous process containing Human Task correct? When I invoke this process through EM console, it hangs, i.e. I can not interact with EM console any more. I think the reason is, Human Task activity when executed expects human interaction. I am correct?
    2. I create "asynchronous" BPM process containing Human Task. I invoke it and it runs properly. I login to workspace and work on task.
    My main question is: "Asynchronous" process executes Human Task and waits for Human Interaction. My process is invoked by Java. How will calling Java code know if execution was successful? If any fault/error occurs how can I notify? How will I notify calling Java code if human task encountered any error?
    Please let me know if my question is not clear.
    Many Thanks.

  • Bpeladmin cannot withdraw tasks, although being the owner

    Hi all,
    We are facing an issue when trying to withdraw a human task from inside of a BPEL process.
    According to the documentation, the task owner (which we understand by default should be bpeladmin ) is allowed to withdraw and reassign tasks. When calling withdrawTask on the TaskService, we are using the authorization context which was returned when the task was created ([as described in this blog post|http://orasoa.blogspot.com/2007/09/cancel-workflow-human-task.html]).
    However, the call fails and we get the following reply:
    <pre>
    ORABPEL-30503
    Invalid Token Error in Verification Service.
    Invalid Token Error in Verification Service. Received invalid token MhcO0vmQ24CQClrLFVwlgs8a+oRACQlBvcc4SKc83hf7hT4xiKsRFlFJPg3Qf5RQVL1koQYczeHlUE3fl4yvA9GAsezTFonLuQtb84khaEJpaOUFsBflwg1c5n7J/JE37eJW6HeqoT0IkRqrHDt3hIYXgL5Saqzz1UZTMji/JPWLyWt4oSASNV7EooDrvYiZWZfTYYJ/sMQCkl8lezXP/vdPMaz/LDuYwxpp14204gGW4l02E/xBfmAIKHrOwTtzZzzW4mrs8IQ= in canUserPerformTaskAction
    Check the underlying exception and correct the error. Contact oracle support if error is not fixable.
    </pre>
    Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
    Cheers, Emil

    I forgot to mention that we are using Oracle BPM version 10.1.3.4.

  • Windows Vista: Ipod Error Message, no longer read by PCs

    Hello,
    I have a 5th generation black ipod video with 30GB of memory.
    The other day I hooked it up to my laptop (Toshiba, 4 months old) that it's been functioning on with no problems whatsoever. This weird error message flashed twice about it not being able to sync because of some software problem.
    Eversince then, the only thing I can charge my ipod on is the family treadmill in the basement (~_~) as no other computer in the house recognizes it. I can't even charge it through the wall sockets, either.
    I have changed the ipod cord, still no luck. I've also reset the device about 3 or 4 times and uninstalled, restarted the laptop then reinstalled itunes. I would like to reset it back to factory settings but that's impossible as computers/laptops don't pick it up. I live very far from a Mac store...
    What's a girl to do? I can't live without my Busta Rhymes and Wu-Tang Clan!
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    you have to update Vista go to this site and up-date http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

  • Error while offsetting a variable

    Hello Experts
    I want to display the data for last 5 years in my query. So I tried using the SAP exit variable Current Calendar Year (0CYEAR) and the offset it by 5. However, I am getting the following error message for the query "System error in program SAPLRR12 and form REP_ASSIGN_INITIAL_OPT-01"
    Any Help on this is appreciated and points will be assigned.
    Thanks

    Thanks Chetan for your prompt reply. I have assigned points.
    But I would appreciate if you help me clear my understanding of offseting a variable.
    Say if the Current Calendar Year variable returns 2008, then will offseting that variable by 5 return me the data for years 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005 , 2004. Or, will it just return me the data for 2008 - 5 = 2004 only.
    Thanks
