Broadcast for selected email to selected data.

Dear Expert,
I have a requirement. where in i would like broadcast to the email on the basis of parameter set for ther user.
for example
for Business Partner 11004   
report should go with filter bp = 11004 and date range.

you can achieve this by writing ABAP code for broadcasting.
which is more reliable.
otherwise you need to create different settings for different buyers and schedule it..\
as it will increase the performance as well as defined..

  • What makes a field eligible for selecting data in a subreport?

    Hello,
    I have posted the following question to [StackOverflow|http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4366702/what-makes-a-field-eligible-for-selecting-data-in-a-subreport], but it has so far generated no replies. I decided to cross-post it here to see if I could get a better result.
    The TL;DR of it is that I have a field which I should be able to link in my Subreport, but it does not appear, and I was wondering what I need to do to make it appear.
    I have a Crystal Report I'm trying to recreate from scratch after an update from VS2008 to VS2010 caused it to implode horribly.
    I've gotten most of the way through, but I'm at a stage where I'm linking a field in the Main Report to a corresponding field in the Subreport.
    I have set up a bunch of Database fields in the Subreport, I've added the table I want, TableA, I've linked it up as everything was linked in the original report, with TableA at the head of the linking chain, so that all the rows I want can be derived from the result of that first query ( Actually, all of the links from the original Report were red in the Database Fields linking dialog, whereas mine are a bit rainbow-y. All the links in TableA are red, though... _ )
    In the "Subreport Links" dialog, I have an integer which I know is being pulled from the database correctly. I've added it in the "Fields to link to" listbox, and selected the newly-created parameter in the "Subreport parameter to use" combobox. I've ticked the "Select data in subreport based on field" checkbox.
    The database field I want to link to then does not appear in the second combobox.
    Another integer field in TableA shows up fine in the "Select data..." combobox (and is linked to another field being passed in), so I don't know why these two integer fields, which are equally important, and exist on the same level, on the same table, are being treated differently by the report designed.
    Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

    Here is what I'd do:
    1) Download CR 2008 eval designer from here:
    http://www.sap.com/solutions/sapbusinessobjects/sme/freetrials/index.epx
    2) Try the linking in CR 2008 designer
    3) If it does not work there, ask why not in the [CR design|SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio; forum.
    4) If you get the linking working in the CR 200 designer, try to run the report in your VS2010 app (after ensuring the report woks as expected in CR 2008).
    5) If (4) above works out for you, please let me know as this may be an issue with CRVS2010.

  • Index used or not for selecting data from ODS in a start routine

    Dear friends,
    In the start routine of the update rules to a cube, I am reading some data of an ODS in to an internal table .
    The ODS is indexed. But, I am not sure if the index is at all used in the Select statement (that gets the data from ODS to the internal table in the start routine) while loading data to the cube.
    Any help is highly appreciated.

    You can findout this is display execution plan for SQL statement in DB02.
    Goto DB02. and under diagnostic, you find explain. Select that and enter your query. Make sure that everything here is in capital format. Below is a sample query which I have entered.
    SELECT "CRM_SALORG" "SALESORG" FROM "/BI0/QORGUNIT"
    WHERE "SALESORG" = ? AND "OBJVERS" = ? AND "DATETO" >= ?
    AND "DATEFROM" <= ?
    The select parameters should be inside qoutes and in caps and even the from table. Once you enter your query in this format, click on explain. It will show the index scan if the index is present. the output for my query will be something like
    0 SELECT STATEMENT ( Estimated Costs =  1,348E+01 [timerons] )
            1 (COOR) RETURN
                2 (    0) TQ
                    3 (    0) FETCH /BI0/QORGUNIT
                        4 (    0) IXSCAN /BI0/QORGUNIT~Z1
    Where my last statement (line 4) is showing index scan and the name of index read is Z1.

  • Finding Short Text for selected Data Element

    Hi all,
    I need to find the short description using a data element (technical name) as a search criteria, where you can use trxn SE12 to search for its short description.
    e.g. KEY = 'Synchronization key'
           SPRAS = 'Language Key'
           VBELN = 'Sales and Distribution Document Number'
    In my ABAP program, I have a list of data elements (technical name) but I want its short description to be displayed.
    Can someone shed of light of how to achieve the above?

    Field DDTEXT Table DD04T will return the short description of the data element. Also pass language 'E' in DDLANGUAGE field and data element name in ROLLNAME.
    For short description use field: DDTEXT
    For Short Field Label use field : SCRTEXT_S
    For medium Field Label use field : SCRTEXT_M
    For medium Field Label use field: SCRTEXT_L
    For heading Use Filed: REPTEXT

    Is there any function module to choose date by day. for example if I give today's date the FM should give me next thursday's date.

    but i want that multicube only for my company 1000.

    Basically this is an example my problem is somthing else.
    we want to eliminate material group for repackaing material from our multi cube and i know
    that virtual cube never save the data physically.
    1)i can do it by restricting my queries.
    2)or restricting my key figures on cube level.
    But there are some draw back.
    in 1 option we have more than 20 queries i have to change all the queries.
    in 2 option i have to create new restircted key figure on cube level so i have to change again my
    all queries and use this new key figure in my reports.
    through authorization same thing have change the things.
    i want to change globally. is there any way to restric on cube level.

    I have a question about T-code VL01N....In VL01N, default value for selection date is currently the date of "Today".
    I'd like it to be 2months behind at least.
    Does anyone know about this?

    As you said, users can change the selection date manually...
    But the only things to be controlled for creating shipping document for our business are shipping points and sales order #.
    So i'd like to extend the selection date as further as possible so that users don't have to worry about selection date...

  • Data Error in the Query/Report after selective data deletion for infocube

    Hi Experts,
    Please advise what i was missing and what went wrong...
    I got a Query (Forecast) on a Multicube...which is based on 2 Infocubes with Aggregates...
    As i identified some data discrepency..yesteraday i performed selective data deleation on one of the Infocube
    and executed report yesteraday and the results in the query are correct...
    When today i executed the same report i am getting different results..
    When i compared the results of the report with that of data in cube they are not matching
    The report is not displaying the data in cube..for some rows it is displaying the data in the cube but for some rows it is just displaying same as the above row
    there is no data loaded into info cube after selective deleation
    Do i need to perform request compression and fill the aggregated after selective deleation
    Please advise what went wrong

    No i haven't done anything on aggregates before or after selective delete
    As there is not data load after the selective delete according to SAP Manual we don't need to perform any thing on aggregates...as selective data deletion on cube will delete data from aggregates as well

    this is to inform you that,
    please check the schedule line date in the sales order because the date is not matching here for the BAPI to upload.
    here,  for example the schedule line is 4 days after and you are running BAPI today. that will mismatch no.
    the same thing is happening in uploading case also.
    so please check the date.
    because in teh sales order if teh schedule line date is today it will accept the uploading with out throwing any errors.

  • No Schedule Lines for Delivery upto selected date

    Hi,
    I have a scenario for Repairs order. Following are the steps of my scenario:
    1. Create a Repair Order.
    2. Create return delivery to recieve the faulty item.
    3. Create Outbound Delivery to send a loaner item to customer (This item would be returned once the returned item is repaired and sent to customer)
    4. Send the item after repairing.
    5. Receive the loaner item.
    When I am trying to create outbound delivery for Loaner item, i am getting an error "No Schedule Lines for Delivery upto selected date".
    I have checked and verified the schedule line date.
    I have checked for Confirmed Quantity.
    Below are the screenshots. Please let me know how can this issue be resolved.

    With reference of your screens,I can see there is no qty in the field loner hence you are getting issue.
    1.May I know ,why you have checked indicator -Repair?
    because ,you are not going to repair the goods.You are just sending loner items to customer.In this case what is the use of to indicate repair ?.

    We plan to realize an application for the maintanance of  planning data . In the first step we created a value help page by using a tableview with iterator class ( 1 of the 3 methods of the Interface was filled with logic ) . We don't use any controller for that application  .
    A global internal table with the relevant help value data ( fgrvalues ) is used for the tableview and the call is :

    Please Remark: It's no solution for us to read the data by using the created internal table fgrvalues and the selectedrowindex cause in a later step we plan to update an ODS table with the manual modified planning data of an editable tableview .

    The <htmlb:tableView> renders a table to the browser. It does not keep a copy of the table. The browser will also never return the table. Never. What it can return are inputfields for each cell. But then only if each cell is custom rendered as an inputfield.

    The sales order have three items with delivery date of 18.09.2008.the material stock is available for all three material and there is no planned issue for these material.
    In sales order schedule lines for all three items is confirmed on 18.09.2008. When I create a delivery on 04.09.2008(before the chedule line),it allows to create delivery for the two items but when I create delivery for material 3 on 04.09.2008(before the chedule line),it is giving error "No schedule line due for delivery upto the selected date" .on going to help it gives information that check whether the order item to be delivered contains confirmed schedule line.I checked the confirmed schedule line is on 18.09.2008 (though we have availbe stock on 04.09.2008).
    Kindly guide me how to resolve the issue,here I want to create delivery prior to the delivery/Schedule line date in Sles order.for 2 items it works but for third it is giving error.
    Is it something to do with Material group 5 in material master sales view for the 1 and 2nd mtrl it is 14 days for for the third it is 7 days?
