i have a web internet live cams aplication and i am using adobe media server 5
i succeed to broadcast http live from web cam to web browser on apple devices using this url:
http://localhost/hds-live/livepkgr/_definst_/liveevent/livestream.f4m
my question is about android browser:
is it possible to broadcast http live from web cam to android web browser using adobe media server 5?
and if so what is the url?
and if not although adobe took off the possibility to download from here site
flash player for android is there any other web page where users able to download adobe flash player for android browser?
or we are in a situation that its not possible to broadcast live from web cam to android browser
from both http or rmtp?

i paid a lot of money for adobe media server....
the minimum support i will expect from adobe is to get back a serious professional forum...

unlike to broadcast to safari browser to chrom browser you do not have to use them?
Another thing i must tell you
i thought about cheking if the android browser viewer have flash or not and if yes broadcast to him in normal RTMP

i have a web internet live cams aplication and i am using adobe media server 5
most of my users using regular pc computer with common windows web browser
but around quarter of my users using web browser on mobile devices
so i need to broadcast from the same web cam at the same time in parallel
both to pc windows web browsers and mobile web browsers.
The important point is to pc windows web browsers i need to broadcast
using only rmtp (http live streaming is not Considerble...)
and to mobile web browsers using http live streaming
So the question is what is the best way to broadcast live from the same web cam
at the same time in parallel in those to methods?
is it possible in one net conection or i must open one for each?
is it to one livepkgr apliction or each method
is to different madia server aplication?

i am publishing the live feed from flash player but the sound is not so important (hope one day soon flash player will support it...)
the question is if i publish stream to livepkgr how can i play the stream in RTMP in flash player in viewer side? for example
this is how i publish:

Font in Design View different from font in Live View and browser preview

My external style sheet has the body set for a sans-serif font and there is nothing to contradict it in the HTML documents. But while I get sans-serif in the Design View (as you would expect), I get a serif font in Live View and Browser Preview, not to mention on the Web itself.
How is this possible (and what should I do about it)?

Murray and David: it worked! It is a rare and joyous experience to have a straightforward solution to the sorts of problems I come up with (including other realms). But I have to say that with HTML and CSS (and hence with Dreamweaver), solutions to difficulties have seemed within easier reach than in other parts of the computer world.

Android Browser Landscape View Media Queries in Dreamweaver CS5.5

In regards to the media queries working on android browser. I Use Dreamweaver CS5.5. When I tested there was no change .
When I tested in landscape view it takes the default web browser screen width it is not device screen width.

It is look Fine in Multi Screen View Preview in Dreamweaver CS 5.5.
My media query is simple :
For Desktop :

Stock android browser showing text in italics

hello, i just opened an account with verizon last night and purchased the s4 for myself and gf. i noticed while using the stock browser, all of the bold text is showing in italics. i tried various browsers including chrome, boat, and dolphin and this seems to be limited to just the stock android browser. i found a few other people experiencing the same issue but haven't found a solution for mine. someone who experienced the same issue said he installed a software update that took care of the issue but my phone says the software is up to date so i'm gonna assume he's on another carrier. anyways, has anyone else experienced similar issue or have a fix? thanks.

This is not a Firefox for Android browser question since you are using the stock browser or google chrome ("mobile built in Internet browser,") , correct?

There is no work around. You would look to use a service, like Twitch, you get a embed code for the live stream, you put that on a page and away you go. All depends on the service your using.

You should have no problem serving a stream to 1000 users on
a single server (a dual xeon/2bg ram box ought to do it).
Your bandwidth requirements will depend on the bitrate of the
video stream. Multiply the stream bitrate by the number of users
(plus 1 for the publisher), and you'll get your bandwidth figure.
For example, if the video is published at 300kbps, you'll use
about 290mbps for your 1000 users.
For the video size, I wouldn't go much larger than 640x480.
The flashplayer doesn't use the video card to render video, and
redrawing the screen with a large video chews through lots of
processor cycles very quickly.

Flash Player WAS available for Android... Until June 2012. It is no more and won't ever be again. Adnroid is no longer compatible with Flash technology. Adbroid (Google) has alternative browsers (Dolphin & Puffin) which can play Flash content using server side rendering. These are available in the GooglePlay Store. There are free versions, but apparently Google is selling the FULL versions which must be used to view Flash content.
And.. DO NOT post your private email in a public forum. It's unsafe and prohibited by Adobe community guidelines.

Broadcast, live stream?

Hello. I have a few questions regarding broadcasting live video streams in H.264 encoded format. I am new here and have little knowledge about the topic. What I am interested in is how can I broadcast (multicast?) live video streams over the internet to multiple viewers? I have video content on a HDD, encoded in H.264 which is constantly updating (I add new files, remove old ones and so on, kind of like a TV channel or Internet Radio but with video), I need to feed that content to a live stream server somehow. It should not be an "On Demand" stream, but "live". What software do I need for this? What do I need to broadcast my so-called "live TV" to end users and what software should I use to auto "feed" the server with new content? If you have any thoughts or can give me links to helpful resources I would appreciate it a lot! Thank you!

I already took a look at that software. I don't sure if it fits my needs. Lets say I have a video source which is an uncompressed live stream. I need: to capture that stream, compress it using H.264 encoding, then rebroadcast it. The time buffer I have is 8 hours (I can broadcast the compressed stream after 8 hours after getting the original stream). Now, how do I do it?

Broadcasting Live Internet Radio Using NiceCast

So I want to start using NiceCast and broadcast live shows. My question really has to do with the server options and what not. NiceCast can only be installed on Mac Machines, but if I have Windows XP users that are in other locations across state, can they somehow connect THEIR Windows program to my NiceCast server and broadcast their part of the show using whatever program theyre using?? Thanks!

Download and set up QuickTime Broadcaster. Note that the usage of QuickTime Streaming Server requires Mac OS X Server.
