Browsers : Compatible with EP

Hi gurus,
EP is most compatible with IE 7. With IE 8, 9, and even 10, EP has certain issues (unless compatibility mode has been switched on). I would want to have the details of what are the issues that EP has with other browsers (like Mozilla, Chrome, NetScape) and with what versions.
Is there a compatibility matrix available for the same. Request assistance.
Rgds,
Sree

  • Making The Weblogic Portal Pages compatible with Mobile Browsers

    Hi All,
Is there any option available to make Weblogic Portal Pages compatible with Mobile Browsers & IPad Browsers.
    Thanks,

    Welcome to Apple Discussions
No, you don't need Office installed. That's the whole idea. Go to File > Export & choose Word (or text, rtf or pdf). The option to "save as" Word has been added in Pages 4/iWork '09 as well as in export.

  • A datasheet component compatible with Microsoft Sharepoint Foundation 2010 is not installed error

I have 2013 Office installed and using 2010 SharePoint Foundation.
The button 'Datasheet View' is available on the site but when clicked on I get this error:
The list cannot be displayed in Datasheet view for one or more of the following reasons:
    - A datasheet component compatible with Microsoft SharePoint Foundation is not installed.
    - Your Web browser does not support ActiveX controls.
    - A component is not properly configured for 32-bit or 64-bit support.
I have installed and repaired the Office Suite already, ActiveX is enabled in the browser etc.
I have also enabled the Microsoft Add-ons.
Installed on Windows Server 2008 R2.
How can I solve this issue?

    Hi,
    1. The Edit
in Datasheet view functionality in SharePoint Server 2010 is not supported if you install
64-bit Office 2013 client. The Edit in Datasheet functionality
is available if you install 32-bit Office 2013 client
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee681792.aspx
    2. Edit in data sheet view is not supported in 64 bit version of the i.e.
If I understand correctly you are trying to access site from the Windows server 2008 R2, the default OS installation will have two browsers. Open internet explorer that doesn't have (64 bit) in the bracket. The one with 64bit is not supported

  • ADE 1.7.2 not compatible with Safari 5.0.3 on Leopard (10.5.8)?

I cannot download a URLLink.acsm file with Safari 5.0.3, even after creating a com.apple.DownloadAssessment.plist file and adding "acsm" under "LSRiskCategoryExtensions" as suggested in the release notes for ADE 1.7.2 (Dated February 2010)
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/806/cpsid_80635.html
as well as the comment to the following blog post cited therein and restarting the computer:
    http://mymacinations.com/2008/02/06/changing-the-systems-default-settings-for-html-files-s afe/
I have to locate the file in "Download" folder download with FireFox while online and double-click it to open it with ADE 1.7.2.
In contrast, FireFox 3.6.13 installed on the same Mac (MacBook early 2009, MacOS 10.5.8) can download the a URLLink.acsm file without any trouble and prompts me to open it with ADE.
The system requirements for ADE 1.7.2 states that it supports the following browsers and Adobe Flash Versions on Mac:
Apple Safari 4, Mozilla Firefox 3
    Adobe Flash® Player 9 or 10
Does my trouble mean that ADE 1.7.2 released February 2010 is not compatible with Safari 5 released in June 2010?
When will ADE be compatible with the latest version of Safari?

ios 6 requires itunes 10.6.3 or higher which requires Mac OS 10.6.8 or higher

  • Firefox is no longer compatible with Articulate Storyline software.

I work for the state of Texas and the program I help administer hosts a website with an online training program for our stakeholders. Recently the training program files have been running poorly in the Firefox desktop browser -- the lessons don't play their audio, they run slowly, they freeze, etc. We have had several of our stakeholders complain to us about this issue. Since the training program is still running just fine in Internet Explorer and Google Chrome desktop browsers, we have been redirecting our stakeholders to complete the training program in either of those browsers.
I talked to my program's website developer to see if they could resolve the issue at all, but they concluded that they cannot because the issue is incompatibility with the training program's file type. The website itself is functioning just fine; it is only the training program lessons that aren't functioning properly. The training program lessons were developed in Articulate Storyline: http://www.articulate.com/products/storyline-overview.php
The best conclusion I can reach as to why the training program isn't functioning properly in Firefox is because a recent browser update is not compatible with Articulate Storyline software files. I request that this be investigated and fixed, as there does not seem to be any other solution to this issue other than to have Firefox address the problem. Our only other solution is to inform our stakeholders to not use Firefox for our website, which is not an ideal long-term solution.

Firefox 27 is the latest release; Firefox 28 is due on March 18.
Are you able to pinpoint the last version of Firefox which worked with your application?
If so, please file a Bug report, marked '''regression'''. <br />

  • What is the most recent version of Firefox which is compatible with a PowerMac G5 (PPC) running OS X 10.5.8?

Running Firefox 3.6.3 on my aging machine, I got a dialog telling me that I should upgrade. I did. When the update was complete, and the application restarted, I was running Firefox 3.6.24, and shown a page saying:
“Thanks for downloading Firefox, but this version is out of date. Unfortunately your computer's operating system isn't compatible with the most current Firefox learn more, but you are encouraged to download the most recent version that is compatible instead.”
Clicking the link to the “most recent version” took me to a page which said:
“Firefox 3.6.x will be maintained with security and stability updates for a short amount of time. All users are strongly encouraged to upgrade to the latest version of Firefox.”
There was no other suggested version linked to that page, and the latest version of Firefox is, of course, NOT compatible with my machine.
Mozilla is confusing me here. Why did Firefox drop back within v. 3.6.x from the version I was already running? Why does the site suggest upgrading to an apparently non-existent “latest compatible version” without providing a link to its suggestion?

  • PDFMaker not compatible with AutoCAD Mech 2014

First time purchaser/user of Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.
Attempted to add PDFMaker to Autocad Mech 2014.  In AutoCAD Tools/Load Application/Look in (browse to ADOBE program files to find PDFMaCAD.arx). The file would not load.  A message appeared that said it was not compatible with this version of AutoCAD.
    Questions:
When is the PDFMaker feature going to be available for loading into AutoCAD Mech 2104?  How will I know when that feature is available?  Will I need to reinstall XI Pro?  What if the feature is not available until XII Pro?
Auocad has an PDF writer already, however, I cannot get that printer driver customized such that the default save file location is the source file.  Does PDFMaker have that feature?
Does the PDFMaker include options, like various PDF printer drivers, of printing the Display, Window, or Extents?
    sazetts

    Features aren't pre announced.
Support might not be available until A12.
You can read the system requirements page in the release notes. You likely should navigate to here: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/compatible-web-browsers-pdfmaker-applications.html. I do not know if that page is up to date
The other answers I don't know, and so I move the post to this forum.

  • Please can someone help - I am trying to download flashplayer compatible with Windows8

Please can someone help with FLashplayer trying to find the download compatible with WIndows 8

    Hello,
There are two versions of Flash Player for Windows, ActiveX (for Internet Explorer) and Plug-in (for other browsers).  On Windows 8.x, Microsoft updates Flash Player ActiveX via Windows Update service.  For Plug-in, you can go to get.adobe.com/flashplayer (with the appropriate browser) and proceed with installation.  Note that Google Chrome also includes a seperate Flash Player, which Google updates via Chrome update.

  • What browsers work with iWeb 08?

Specifically, no windows browsers work with my site. Safari for Windows does, but no other browsers do.
    Why is this the case?
Is there a way to set iWeb to publish as a windows compatible site?
If there is no way to cure this problem, the application is totally worthless to me, as only people with Macs will ever be able to see it correctly.
    Answers and help appreciated.

  • When will 3.6.8 be compatible with windows live one scanner?

Under IE8, occasionally I would run a windows live one scanner, which is an excellent free virus scan, and catches a lot more than my package with my provider does. However, it is not compatible with Firefox 3.6.8. On its web page, Windows One tells you of an add-on you can use to run the scan with Firefox, but the add-on is not available on version 3.6.8.

The way that Microsoft developed the scanner, it will never work in Firefox or quite a few other browsers. The scanner uses an ActiveX control which will not be supported on Firefox or many other browsers. For details on the reasons why Firefox does not support ActiveX see https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/ActiveX

  • Is adobe flash player compatible with ios7?

I have heard that adobe is not compatible with ios7 and therefore one cannot open ecards on an ipad or iphone. Is this true and if so how does one get around this problem?

Thanx for your advice. I recently sent ecards from my imac via care2.com/ecards to family members in USA and Australia who all have ios enabled devices and were therefore unable to open the ecards. I don't own an ipad or iphone and was unaware that ios is not adobe flash compatible.
What I found surprising though is that one relative could not open the ecard on a mac book air but I don't know what browser he uses. I just assumed that all browsers are flash compatible. Thanx again.

  • Latest Adobe Flash Player version is not compatible with our android tablet - can I install an earlier AFP version that will work?

    Hi...
    ...and thanks for reading this:
We have a Nextbook Premium8 tablet that is hardly two years old. We had to reset to original factory settings, and in doing so lost our Adobe Flash Payer app. Upon trying to re-install AFP, we received a message that our tablet wan not compatible with the latest AFP version.
Is there an earlier, archived AFP version that will work with our tablet, and if so, which version - Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.81) from Sept 10, 2013, possibly???
It seems almost unbelievable that our tablet should be this obsolete for use with Adobe Flash Player after such a short period of only two years.
    Thank you once again,
    Robert Lucas

It's not you, it's us.  We don't make Flash Player for Android anymore.
The last working version published for Android is missing a year and a half of security updates at this point, so I would highly recommend against running it.
The details on why Adobe dropped support for Android are here, but yeah, we haven't released an Android Flash Player since late 2012.
Adobe roadmap for the Flash runtimes | Adobe Developer Connection
There are a few alternatives that you can use to get Flash on your phone.  They're mostly cloud-based web browsers, where they run Flash in the cloud and stream the content down to your phone.  It works surprisingly well.
A cursory Google search for "Android Browser Flash Player" turns up these options:

  • What virus software is compatible with OS 10.4.10?

I use Microsoft Encourage for my mail and a combination of Opera and Firefox as my browsers (Opera mostly because of its security).
I didn't renew my virus software because the Mac ads said that I didn't need to, but closer reading led me to find out that your protection is only for my .Mac mail and Safari use.
So, what virus checkers are compatible with OS 10.4.10 and do you recommend?
Thanks. (Or do I need them? Maybe I don't I'm really not sure--that's why I'm writing, I guess. Am I protected without any other software if I use programs other than .Mac and Safari Thanks again?)

ClamXav works good and is Free. I only use it when I am downloading software for my windows side or my wife's PC. The only time you really must have protection is when you run windows. There hasn't been any problems yet with a virus on Macs but since it is becoming more popular who's to say there won't be a problem down the road.
