BT126S_APPT- Addition ObjecID field in Activity Search Result View

Hello,
In Activity Search result page, I want to show Object ID of the transaction as well. Below are the component details.
Component : BT126S_APPT
View: ApptSR
In the available fields of the this view, Object ID is not available.
Appreciate if some one can let me know step by step procedure for achieving the same
Regards
Yashodhan

1) Enhance the component BT126S_APPT
2) Enhance the view BT126S_APPT/ApptSR
3) Add the attribute to the context node BTQRACT via the following method
Simply add the object_id field from the BTQRact node by right clicking on the BTQRACT atttributes folder and choosing create
attribute.
In the wizard choose add model attribute.
Attribute Name OBJECT_ID
BOL Entity:  BTQRAct
BOL Attribute:  OBJECT_ID
Hit continue and you are done.  Now the field should be available for view configuration and you would perform that step as normal.
No need for the complicated coding suggested above as it already exists in the BTQRAct genil/bol entity structure and just needed to be exposed.  I have done this before and is working fine in my production system with no errors on CRM 2007 SPS01.
Take care,
Stephen

  • BT126S_APPT- Activity Search Result View Not Bound

    Hi experts,
When search the activities the information is not populated and appears the following message, "OBJECT_IDNotBound" and "BTQRAct not bound". This message appears at the standard role and the Z role.
    Any idea?
    Thank you!
    David

This error comes when the attributes are either initial or not bound.
So to remove this error and show the initial value for the attributes you have to assign one parameter to the User under TCode su01 or su3 as given below:
    BSPWD_SHOW_NOT_BOUND  with value  as N.
    Thanks

  • How to add Distribution channel in Activity search result

    Hi All,
As i am new in BSP area need your help.
My requirment is to add a ditribution Channel in activity Search criteria as well as in search result.i am done with adding a DC in search critaria but not able to understand how to add a DC in Search result.
    Component     : BT126S_APPT
    View              :  BT126S_APPT/ApptSR
Context Node :  BTQRACT  - Under this CN there is no attribute called DC.
To add i DC in above context node:
    1. Need to create a Z attribute in Context Node.
    2. In get method of attribute need to read the DC's attribute which entred in search criteria.how to get this value.
Please help me to solve this issue.
    DC = Disttribution channel.
    CN = Context Node.
    Thanks,
    Shweta.

The cleaner approach in my view could be to provide a hyperlink and when the user presses the link option you can show the partner data in the key field. So for example some body wants to see the partners for a particular Sold to Party just do allow him/her a hyperlink access. For this the end user must be aware of the functionality.
Alternatively make this view a part of the Viewset which will contain the search & result view. When you select a particular opportunity row from the result row , you can show the partners involved in this opportunity. When no opportunity is selected you can leave the partner field blank.

  • How to get value in custom field(Part OF BOL) in search result view.

    Hi All,
I am new to CRM WEBUI and i am facing issue in populating value in one field of search result view.
    Current requirement is .
On product f4 , we get search help and search result view.
one custom field need to be added in search result view ( for eg any description field).
This description field is already  available in one of z relation  maintained in PRODUCT root object.
    Solution tried so Far:
    1. We enhance one Standard Product structure and add that description field .
    2. Add new  field( description) in result view context node as attribute by using bol attribute.
    3. Customize search result view and display that description field in result.
By doing above three steps, field is available in  search result view.
but issue is we are not able to get values.
1st Approach: write code in getter and setter method . Pass the relation name and get the property of description  field
in setter method, set the property.
Issue : we were not able to sort the values on this description field. so scrap this 1st approach
2nd Approach: In Event EH_Onsearch Help, we try to use collection wrapper to get current value of description
    by using relation name .
We use component controller to set the value of description since  searchresult view-conext node->result node is bound to one comp controller node.
but this solution also does not work..
Please advice us  what approach we should use to get value in description field  and sorting should also work.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Girish,
Pass the relation name and get the property of description  field  and by using this approach we are able to get value but sorting was not working so we disable the sorting as it was not required by business.
if u need sorting on that field.
then u should go for value node approach and write code for getting value in get set method
and for sorting also , need to write code.
This is my understanding on this .
Please reward if this solution is helpful

  • 11.5.9/OAF 5.7 : how to add new fields in iProc "search results" page

We need to add new fields into iProc "search results" page - "Personalize Self-Service Defn" is et, we can enter the personalization screens (from both the "master" link at top/right page level or from the link above the region) - anyway cannot find how to add new fields. Do we have to go to AK developer and/or XML files or is it feasable from OAF (as it is with 11510) ? TIA.

It depends on what fields you want to add.
    1. If Oracle has included the fields, just render them via personalizations
    2. If they are brand new fields:
    a) you will need to extend the VO (I do not know the exact name).
    b) change the query to get your extra db columns if necesary
    c) add transient attributes to the VO and map them to b).
    d) Then you need to add the items via personalization and map them to the attributes you created in c)
Check on metalink for the lates version of OAF Dev Guide and Personalization guide.
    Thanks

  • Adding Fields to People Search Results Page

    Hi
Working in SharePoint Online, I've been able to add a few fields to the People Search results page successfully:
    Organization
    Office Locator
    Office Location
    Work Phone
    Mobile Phone
    Home Phone
    Work Email
All of the above fields are working and display on the People search results page.
I tried to add these and they simply do not display.  There is no error:
    University Email
    Assistant
    Calendar/Scheduling
I set them up the same way.  I created the Property in the User Profile area.  I then populated the data for each user.  I then added the property as a Managed property (search schema) linked to the Crawled property from the People category.
Made sure that they were query able, retrievable, searchable, etc.  Then I edited the People Search code and then I waited over the weekend for the search to pick them up.  I came into work this morning and they still do not display.  Here is
my code, just in case I missed something.  Thanks.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about adding fields in people search results page.
Per my knowledge, there is no issue in your steps, and the issue may be related to the search crawl in SharePoint online.
For SharePoint server on-premise, we can start the search full crawl, however, for SharePoint online, we could not start the search full crawl manually.
You can wait for some time to complete the search full crawl in SharePoint online, then check whether it works.
As this is the forum for SharePoint server on-premise, I’m not familiar with the SharePoint online search crawl, for this issue, I recommend you can post a new question in the forum for Office 365/SharePoint online.
    http://community.office365.com/en-us/forums/154.aspx
More experts will assist you, then you will get more information relation to SharePoint Online.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
    Thanks,
    Jason

  • BADI for Activity Search Results

    Hi,
I am in position to restrict the Activity search results. Please let me know the BADI does this job. I have tried already with BADI
    CRM_BADI_RF_Q1O_SEARCH and didn't work.
    Thanks,
    Bobby

    Hi Bobby,
Need to implement the badi CRM_BADI_RF_Q1O_SEARCH and assign the filter BTQACT for activity search.
You need to implement the note 1232008 to get the parameters for FM CRM_BSP_OIC_1O_SEARCH_FROM_RF.
Inside the BADI implementation use this FM CRM_BSP_OIC_1O_SEARCH_FROM_RF to get all the activities and then restrict it.
    Thanx,
    Siva.

  • Additional field on activity search view

    Hi,
I need to add territory id on activity search view. is there any badi which i can use for this purpose to filter the result and additing the search parameter?
    Regards,
    Kamesh Bathla

    Hi,
You can add fields to Product master using Set types morever to make this fields available to webui you have to do some more configuration. please use following tcode in seqence to achieve your requirment.
    1) COMM_ATTRSET - Maintain Set Types and Attributes
    2) CRMM_UIU_PROD_GEN - Assign Set Types to Overview Pages
    3) CRMM_UIU_PROD_CONFIG - Create UI Configuration for Set Type

  • HREIC Enhancement: Addition of SLA column to activity search result page

    Hi Experts,
I am currently assigned in enhancing the activity search of transaction code HREIC_VP by adding SLA column in the output table. I debugged this BSP application and haven't found any class where the selection of data happens.
Does anybody know what class is responsible of selecting the data to be displayed in activity search and how this is being transferred to the output table.
    Many thanks in advance,
    Larissa

    Take care,
    Stephen

    Krishna

    Hi steve,
Still my issue was not resolved, could you help me to find the exact error.I have enhanced the component, view and context node, still i couldn't able to add attributes to the context node BTQRACT.I tried to add several fields, but it is giving the same error 'METHOD CL_BT126S_A_APPTSR_CTXT' CREATE_BTQRACT DOES NOT EXIST'. I have checked the OSS messages and found 2 relavant to this component. I have implemented both the Sap Notes 1363752, 1226612. Still after implementing the OSS note, i am getting the same error. My guess is one of the method is missing. Please help me out?

  • Add hyperlink on the field txt in Search Result List to access Detail View

    Hi, SDN fellows.
I have a PCUI requirement stated the following:
    1) In the line item of the Search Result List (table), there is one hyperlink in field 1.
    2) When click on the hyperlink, it will trigger the action to open up Detail View (Object Data Pattern 1 - ODP1) of the line item.
    3) Problem: When the value of the field is null, there will be no hyperlink to open up the Detail View.
    4) For work around, my requirement is to make the other fields (i.e. field 2) to have a hyperlink to trigger the action for opening the Detail View of the line item.
I am not strong in PCUI. Please advise how to do so, while I am exploring the guide in the PCUI Book.
    Thanks,
    Kent

    Hello Kent,
check out the settings of the Field Group element where the link is already active. Copy that settings to the Field which you want to be linked too.

  • Add new fields to BP Search result Pop-up

    Hi,

  • Add 'Size' field to Find search results

Is there a way to add a size field to the window when using the Finder's Find command. When doing this in Tiger the search results had this and other info, but in Leopard there is only Name, Kind and Last Opened.
    Thanks,
    Chris

Yeah, this is just one more of the little things that make me regret upgrading to Leopard. Nothing but little take-aways by Apple that effect the normal day-to-day kinds of user interactions; horrible search functionality, mind boggling step backwards in the usefulness of ical, horrible printer support, loss of single click and hold dock folders....

  • Display of Item Level Fields in Complaint Search Result

    Hi,
We have enhanced the complaint search result screen to display columns such as item category or code group. These values come from the item level, so the result list displays blanks under these columns. Is it possible to populate these fields? Something like, displaying multiple rows for the same complaint, with different values for item level fields in each row?
For example, there is a complaint with 3 items. The user searches for complaints based on some header field, and this complaint is in the result list. Is it possible to display 3 different rows for the same complaint, with the value for Item Category being different for the 3 rows?

    Hi,
Yes, this is possible but it a custom development.
We had similar requirement where we needed to search all searvice orders and complaints belonging to an item category.
We created a Z-search component for this and implemented the logic .
If the complaint search component has item category as a search parameter ( i am not sure) then it will be simple...but it is doesnt have it, then u can include it programatically or using AET ( if you are on 7.0) .
The result population will be programatic as you will have to search complaints matching to your item category.
There are large no of item categories per transaction type, so dynamic search takes too much time and times out on web ui..You must supply atleas one valid item category as the basis for your search.
    Thanks & regards,
    Suchita

  • Append text in one of the fields of the search results using ResultScriptWebPart

    Hi,
I have extended ResultScriptWebPart and would like to update the fields with a constant value based on a backend logic.
    QueryIssuing -> Event
    // After ExecutyQuery()
             var resultTables = resultTableCollection.Filter("TableType", KnownTableTypes.RelevantResults);
                foreach (ResultTable item in resultTables)
                    int count = item.Table.Rows.Count;
                    DataRow row = null;
                    for (int i=0; i<count; i++)
item.Table.Rows[i]["Flag1"] = "This field is updated."
                         resultCollection.Add(item);
             e.Result = resultCollection
In my search display template, I added "Flag1" into my ManagedProperty mapping but the value still blank. Can it be done this way?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi,
I am trying to involve someone familiar with this topic to further look at this issue. There might be some time delay. Appreciate your patience.
