Bug with Worksheet Line Numbers in 2.1?

I'm seeing an "issue" with line numbers enabled in the worksheet. When i have a plsql block with nested procedure/functions, and I collapse/expand the nested code, the line numbers in the worksheet don't consistently update till I resize the window.
Example)

10    /turns into this when I collapse:

Printing bug with logical page numbers

I have a PDF file set up with logical page numbering. If I want to print page 7-10 and type this in the Pages field, Reader prints physical pages 7 through 10 from the PDF file instead of logical page 7-10. I tried it in Reader X and XI and the problem occurs in both. I am pretty sure it worked in early versions, but I don't know what version it stopped working on. Is this a known issue?

Steps to Reproduce:

Expected Results:
As we may delete the rows by hand, the script is supposed to do its job with no error.
Actual Results:
When it remains two rows, the script issue an error.
When we click the OK button, it continue and it does what it was designed to do.
Regression:
At this time, in real life I keep only :

in the script but I don't like to encounter a meaningless error message
May you get rid of that ?
I wish to add that I am unable to think that getting a 2 * 2 cells table when asking for a 1 * 1 one is a normal behaviour !

For sure, with remove there is no error message
but the dictionary is clear :
A row, as well as a column is an item.
I would accept that the app refuse to execute the command delete row x or delete column y.
It accepts to delete rows 150 thru 3 but when there are only two rows, it refuses to delete one.
In my code, I delete row 1 because I want a table with only a standard cell.
There is no logic in the fact that I may delete column 1 with no errror message but can't do the same with row 1.
The proof that there is no reason is of course that with the try / end try enclosing the loop, the row is correctly delete. The script just ignores the reported error.
It's always wrong to flag an error when there isn't one.
The dictionary describes the function duplicate which is supposed to apply to items.
I was grinding when I discovered that it refuses to duplicate a table or a sheet but at least, it's concistent. It doesn't do 99% of the job and claims "you are fool to ask me to do that" for the last percent.
Delete / Remove isn't the unique odd pair.
I got the same kind of problem in several apps with Copy / Duplicate.
Sometimes they behave the same. Sometimes, one is completely rejected
and, worse case, sometimes one of them behave well most of the time but not always.
I think that it would be correct to
(1) edit the code so that both behave correctly in 100% of cases
or
(2) edit the code so that the 99% one completely reject the call
This said, I'm definitely pig-headed but I'm not completely foolish so,I will edit my script and use Remove
PS :
I added these two lines to my report :
I forgot to write that replacing Delete by Remove get rid of the error message.
But there is no reason to issue one with delete.

Office 2010 Bug with Multiple Lines

Hi,
It appears this bug has not been fixed in the December CU. http://sharepoint.nauplius.net/2013/09/office-2010-update-kb2760758-incorrectly-checks-multi-line-columns/.
This is causing me large problems with SharePoint to Word integration does anyone have any workarounds they have used and/or any update on when a fix can be expected?

Is There A Bug With The Line-In Volume Setting ?

I use an audio mixer and microphone to put voice-overs into programs like Audacity, Sound Studio and the Voice Over Tool in Final Cut Express.
The mixer is connected to the Line In socket on my eMac.
I like to set the Line In Volume to Maximum in the System Preferences.
However, sometimes when I close one of the above programs, the Line In Volume Control reverts to a default midway setting (50%).
This is not a terrible problem but it is irritating having to reset the volume control.
Is it a known problem and is there a cure?

PS. I did a search and there was a similar sounding question three weeks ago but for some mysterious reason it was archived before anyone could answer.

I have done some testing in the last 20 minutes and am convinced there is a conflict caused by Final Cut Express 3.0.
I opened and closed Audacity, Sound Studio and iMovie three times each with no problem.
I did the same with FCE and each time the Line In Volume control had reverted to the 50% setting.
So it appears there is a bug (at least with my setup).
Is there a cure - other than resetting System Preferences every time?

Bug with Illustrator Line Tool

I am trying to draw a shape using the illustrator line tool, and it always seems to revert to 1pt when I am using it within a shape, even when I manually change it to 0.5pt in the top bar, it does not change. I will go larger than 1pt but not smaller for some reason. It works when the line is by itself. As in not attached to a shape but as soon as you move it to connect with the rest of the shape it reverts to that large size. please help

Oh thanks! I didn't realise this could effect specific tools as well as the placement of objects, Im having another problem which I thought would be solved by turning off the 'Align to Pixel Grid' but it didn't work

Aperture 3.1 loop issues possible bug with CMYK/RGB numbers in loop?

I'm looking to find out if I'm not the only one with this problem:
After upgrading to 3.1, I've noticed that when I do my color correction of skin, by the numbers using CMYK in the loop, that on a number of images, I can no longer get the loop to read the numbers in the top third of the image. No differences in the camera used, import process, asset management, nothing about my process has changed.
Thoughts?

I'm using this as a work around for now but, what a bummer! I've tried to see if the issue is present on my other machines and using other cameras and - it still is. Since no one else has chimed in here to share if they are experiencing these loop issues, I'm wondering if it is just you and me. Maybe no one really uses the loop with color values to color correct their images.

Problems with line numbers (building via ant).

We use ant for our builds and are having a problem with getting line numbers into call stacks. When running on linux we do not get the lines for our projects (not all projects have debug option), just (Unknown Source), however we do see line numbers for the tib jars. Eclipse is fine, we can see all line numbers as appropriate.
I have tried "lines", "lines,source" and "lines,var,source" - all build a different sized jar which suggest something is getting added. However as we see line nums for tib it suggests it's some strange java runtime option. We're using sunjdk 1.5.10 and also jrockit.
Any ideas/answers most appreciated.

Convert named access list to line numbers

I printed out a document months ago which has since then disappeared into my mountains of paperwork. Somewhere in that document listed a command that converted an extended, named access list to one with line numbers. I even recall that you could input the line interval into the conversion process (so lines would be 5,10,15 etc or 10,20,30 etc).
I just upgraded a 6509, and I'm ready to put line numbers in my access list, and can't find the command - a new Cisco search is coming up empty. Can anyone recall what the command is?? Again, it's for converting an existing access-list with no line numbers to one with line numbers.

I guess this is what you are looking for. I have not tried it my self but would like to test it out.
1. enable
2. configure terminal
3. ip access-list resequence access-list-name starting-sequence-number increment
4. ip access-list {standard | extended} access-list-name
5. sequence-number permit source source-wildcard
or
sequence-number permit protocol source source-wildcard destination destination-wildcard [precedence precedence] [tos tos] [log] [time-range time-range-name] [fragments]
6. sequence-number deny source source-wildcard
or
sequence-number deny protocol source source-wildcard destination destination-wildcard [precedence precedence] [tos tos] [log] [time-range time-range-name] [fragments]
7. Repeat Step 5 and/or Step 6 as necessary, adding statements by sequence number where you planned. Use the no sequence-number command to delete an entry.

Printing Line numbers while dumping stack trace during crash..

Hi,
I want to dump the stack trace of all threads with the line numbers when the program crashes. I am able to do that by cathing the signals and invoking "pstack" utility to dump the stack. But it does not dump the line numbers of each function. Is there some way of doing that?

If you run the executable under dbx then you can type 'where' when the program crashes or set a breakpoint in your signal handler. Line numbers will only show up in the dbx stack trace if the application was compiled with -g and not stripped.

with static constants from FillStyle and also adding an equals()

When there is a note on the first or second line that starts in the block, justification and rebuilt and the problem happens! even made to change color of text on the blank page occurs ... our solution to an extra line at the beginning of the block without note or make it past the note on the previous page ...

Mail app bug with jumping to new line below signature

Hi!
Since day one of using Lion i have this incredibly annoying bug with Mail application.
I have a formated signature in all my emails. Sometimes when I am composing a mail (or rather replying for one) and when I hit RETURN on keyboard, cursor moves BELOW signature and inserts new line below signature - not in place when it was when I hit RETURN.
The same is when I have cursor in middle of my message and hit enter. Nothing happens - text ater place when cursor was when I hit enter is staying where it was but cursor moves below signature and enters new line in there.
Anyone has solution for this?

Numbering query results with a line number in SQL*Plus

Doesn't it stand to reason that in SQL*Plus there would be a way to number each query results sequentially with line numbers starting at 1 to n -- something option like from a SET command? I'm not talking about linesize.

There's a column rownum the engine adds into the result sets, just add it to the select list. Can use it to limit the result set (with some limitations) i.e.:
select rownum, ... from ... where rownum <= 100
Can't use ">=", that condition will never be met but a subset could be used:
select * from ( select rownum as linenr, tab1.* from ... ) where linenr between 10 and 20

Matrix - Help with setting 1st column for line numbers

I have created a matrix on a custom form and would like to add line numbers to the # column line that of the quotation screen.
The matrix itself is populated correct from the Query and LoadFromDataSource, and all the fields and columns are filled in correctly, the only column I am having trouble with is the 1st one for line numbers. My code for adding the line numbers is

For i = 1 To tMatrix.RowCount
      oEditText = tColumns.Item("#").Cells.Item(i).Specific
      oEditText.Value = i
Next
For the example I am using I get the message box appear:
Matrix Count: 26
So I know I should have the line number go from 1 to 26, however I only get 1 to 9 displayed, all the remaining lines are blank.
Any ideas on why it stops at 9 or what I should do to correctly set the line numbers in the Number column like that of the system Quotation/Sales orders forms.

The message box still displays 26, however my lines still only go up to number 9.

Best Architecture for Fortran Code with Line Numbers

I have large fortran 90 file (10+ pages) which I need to convert to LabVIEW.
It contains several branching statements with Line Numbers, e.g.:
1000 IF (condition) goto 2000
I would like to know what is the best architecture to deal with this branching of the program.
Should I break the sections (based on line numbers) into user events or states?
Has anyone done similar conversions?

I would insert a preliminary step where I would assign a descriptive name to each line number that is the target of a branch. The names become the names of the states (like Christian was hinting at) then diagram the code into a state transition diagram. The rest gets passed to a developer to complete.
