    These was the Nakisa´s instructions:
    Installation instructions -
There should be a PDF inside the package, but the important steps to follow are the following:
    1.       You need to download the OrgChart 6.1 version from SAP Service MarketPlace
    2.       You will only install the build, BUT NOT the add-on or the transport package that comes with the 6.1 version, as those are the Ehp4 ones
    3.       You will then install the SAP47Addon_transport_pckg.zip, which applies to ECC 6 (EhP 0, 1, 2 or 3), as downloaded above from the Nakisa FTP site.
    We follow the instructions
Could happen that  the OrgChart 6.1 has not the objects.

  • What is the recommendation for metadata, where to install the schema?

Should we install metadata in a separate database or in application database? I am looking for experts advise, also throw any links on requirments of having a schema in application database when we install metadata in its own database..Trying to understand what is the role of additional schema in application database (fyi, this schema gets created when you register the application database).

  • Where do I install the ordim817 & ordhttp zips?

I have Jdev(NT), iAS 8i (NT) and O8iEE (Linux) on three different machines. I am trying to set up the demo intermedia servlet/jsp samples. It says to ensure I have the CLASSPATH set up with paths defined, but -my question- on what machine(s)? Obviously, my dev machine, but what about on the servers??? -thanks!

Well Simon... I really thought that was it. The entry was not in my tnsnames file so I added it, in addition I added the listener on my linux box. But, no difference (althought obviously - that was another hurdle cleared). I took your advice and ran the imchk script also. It returned two items as INVALID: Oracle Intermedia 8.1.6.0.0 Installation status and under Oracle8i Intermedia OrdImage, one of the internal packages returned INVALID.
Also, I am not working directly on the server to resolve these issues. Even with the fixes with the server local tnsnames and listener, I can't access the image properties.
At this point, I'm going to punt and use Microsoft :) Just kidding. I'm going to reinstall intermedia on linux and start from scratch. I'll work with the demos provided as well to test the config afterward. I'll keep you posted. Any suggestions in the meanwhile?? please post. Thanks!

    Hello again :-)
Well, its time to switch from the client to the server now. Looks like you have a bad TNSNAMES.ORA and/or a bad LISTENER.ORA. What's happening is that the interMedia types in the database aren't able to connect to the external code; in this case, to extract image properties for the setProperties method.
Below is an extract from the interMedia FAQ file, imfaq.txt, in <oracle-home>/ord/im/admin. After you follow the instructions below, you should have connectivity to the external code. However, after fixing whatever is necessary. I'd recommend running the imchk.sql SQL*Plus script in the same directory. This will check all the interMedia types and make sure everything else is OK.
    Hope this solves it,
    Simon

  • Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x800F0922

    Hi folks,
I have a HP Elitebook Folio 9470p.  It came with Windows 8, and I installed it on my corporate domain.  I was trying to do some Windows updates so  I could upgrade it to Windows 8.1, but it fails installing the updates, whether or not I try
to install them one at a time or all of them.  It has about 18 updates it needs from security updates to a .net framework update.  I run Symantec EP, and disabled it, checked for driver updates for things like display and networking and they are
    all up to date.
I'm at a loss as to what to do.  It gives this error in the event log for each file, Event ID 20.
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x800F0922: Security Update for Windows 8 for x64-based Systems (KB2862152).
This is the example for KB2862152, but it gives the same error for every one.  I've tried to auto fix for Windows update issues and it fixed a couple of the issues, but not all of them, and provides no other help.
I also deleted folders and files from the SoftwareDistribution folder as well, to no avail.  Any ideas what I can do to get whatever updates it needs, so I can fully patch it, and upgrade it to Win 8.1?
    Thanks for any help!

Hi MM. Mr Kywildcat and Vegan Fan,
GOOD NEW ! At this time, my issue is solved. The only black side is "how ?" : I hope that we will get a response some day ; however, and for in information  pnly - hoping this could help someone - I resume some actions which allowed this the happy end
    1) about installing 8.1 : I wanted to be sure that gain/pain ratio was positive, and that upgrading from a (potentially) damaged system would'nt produce something looking like a new Win 8.1, but difficult to maintain and keeping some negative potentialities.
    2) I was influenced by the fact that this
0x800F0922  error acted as "a serial killerror", whose root cause could be a unique update error at reboot time concerning several (>20) packages, so I decided to test some manual upgrades.
    3)   Manual update (i.e. manual download and maunching of .msu packages) of the 2 following packages
(whose update previously failed on a Windows Update) was successful : .NET Framework version 3.5 for  x64 (KB2898866) and Camera Codec Pack Windows 8 for x64 (KB2899190)
    4) So I decided to try Windows Update on a selection of packages, first : those concerning .Net Framework 3.5 and 4.5 (that is: KB2898866, 2901120, 2898865) --> Successful !
    5) finally, I selected almost all other packages, with some exceptions wich I (think to) have no need for : KB2871690, 2904659, 2843630. To be complete, here is the list of pakages updated one time at all :
    KB 2892074, 2893294, 2893984, 2909210, 2912390, 2916036, 2889784,2903938, 2911101, 2913152, 2917499
    --> always succesful.
I am not a specialist, but I uess that this 0x800F0922 error hides another problem which is globally "H-RESULTED"
to all updates pending in one update operation with reboot. This could be assumed from this CBS.log exterped from my last wrong attempts, where root cause seems not to be
    0x800f0922, but 0x80004003 :
2014-02-15 21:29:13, Info                  CBS    Could not get active session for current session file logging [HRESULT = 0x80004003 - E_POINTER]
2014-02-15 21:29:13, Info                  CBS    Not able to add pending.xml.bad to Windows Error Report. [HRESULT = 0x80070002 - ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND]
2014-02-15 21:29:18, Error  CBS    Startup: Failed to process advanced operation queue, startupPhase: 0.  A rollback transaction will be created. [HRESULT = 0x800f0922 - CBS_E_INSTALLERS_FAILED]
Anyway, thanks to you who spent some of your time to describe issues and search/ suggest solutions ; I will upgrade my system to 8.1 anyway, some of this day, when I am sure that my configuration does not hides some other problem. I thing that potential
issue remains until maybe a new KB corrects it, wrong :-) ?
And I hope that you - Mr Kywildcat - can upgrade your system on "current levels" trying similar attempts.

It is not the PKGBUILD's fault, apparently, as the same error occurs when I autogen-configure-make manually. So is there something wrong with my system, the python setup maybe? (I tried manually replacing "python" by "python2.7" in the Makefile – no success.) Or is it an upstream bug, maybe related to this bug? Is there anything I can do?
Sorry if the answer is obvious, but I really do not feel like I understand this python stuff properly. Also, sorry for duplicating my AUR comments – it was only today that I figured I might get more response in the forum.

Don't panic, I don't. Just did not have time before now.
EDIT: Done. I am still throwing in the towel, though. I was trying to make a gtkmm-git PKGBUILD, because I need the latest gtkmm for development. However for gtkmm-git I needed gtk-git, for which I needed glib-git and pango-git. I successfully (at least it appears so) managed to install glib-git and pango-git, but now I get a linker error with gtk-git and will not spend another day looking for its source. I will just wait until gtkmm-3.1 is released.
EDIT 2: Alright, it appears there must have been something wrong with my "successfull" installs as well, as I just started a gtk app (Balsa) and it did not have any font, just rectangles for letters. Replacing glib-git and pango-git with their stable counterparts turned everything right again.

    Hi Paul,
That error usually comes up when a DLL that you reference in a VI is also included as a support file in the application build.  I've seen this when including a DLL that is installed with an NI driver (such as lvdaq.dll for data acquisition).  If your Build Specification has any NI DLL's included as support files, these can be removed. If you need driver support, the recommended way of doing this is by creating an installer Build Spec and including the device driver under the Additional Installers page.
    Cheers,
    Matt Pollock

If yes, remove it and leave only dbus
No, neither of them were in packages.i686. I even tried adding dbus to that file to see if it would help, but it didn't change the error message.
It seems like archiso is installing some core files before it installs my custom packages, and maybe that is where the problem lies, but I really have no idea.

  • An Error Occurs When I Go To "Build Properties-- Icon" -- Custom Icon Build Fails

    LV 2011
    Mac OS X 10.6.8
    1. Create a new Build Specification using the Application Builder.
    2. Click on the "Icon" tab.
    The following error occurs:
    Three possible outcomes from here:
    1.  Usually LV2011 hangs when changing this option.  (i.e. "time to Force-Quit LabView" and recover the project)  It hangs after I uncheck the "Use default LabView icon" box, and then select my own custom icon from the file browser that appears.
    If it doesn't hang:
    2.  I build using the default LabView icon.  That build succeeds.
    3.  I build using my own icon (which has worked before in LabView app builds).  That build fails, near the end, with the following error:
Please tell me how I can help get this working.

    Good questions.
    1. This happens with all projects.  As I mentioned, I get an error box as soon as I select the "Icon" tab in the Build Properties dialog.  After that, it either hangs or fails to build.  This happens with any new or existing project.
    2. I have not built an application with a custom icon with LabView 2011.  Remember I am Mac OSX so I install Application Builder separately from a .dmg file.
    3. I was able to successfully build an application with a custom icon in LabView 2010.
So, it would seem to me that we should rule out that it's a global bug with LV2011 on Mac OSX (10.6.8).  If you install and make a new project, and attempt to add a custom icon, I would bet you can reproduce this exactly.  The error dialog pops regardless, and everytime.

  • Central build fails when checking in an activity

I have a web dynpro application that uses a javabean as model. The javabean has several properties that are of type collection that are mapped to DTOs that consist of simple types. I had to add a new simple type (integer) to one of the DTOs and made the same change in web dynpro by adding the integer property to the appropriate model class.
I did a reload + rebuild in web dynpro, dragged the new model attribute from the model to the component controller and added the attribute to my view. I then did a DC build and then a DC deploy and the application works. I can retrieve, update and add values from the database with the new field.
When I go to check my activity in, the central build fails and the failure is related to the new attribute that was added.  Im wondering in the problem is related to problems with the NWDI server, as it was restarted several times this week while I had my activity open.
When I browse to the dev/inactive branch in the DTR, I can see the new attribute that was added to JobPartDTO.java class in the DTO DC and I can see the new attribute that was added to the JobPartDTO.wdmodelclass in the web dynpro DC. In the dev/active branch, theses changes are not present.
Here are the errors from the CBS log.

  • How to install 'SOABPEL' schema on Release 10g R2 on Windows environment

    Hi,
I have just completed installation of Oracle 10g R2 (10.2.0.3) database on windows vista environment. the database has been successfully installed and i am able to connect it from the sql plus. BUT my purpose to install database is to do Advanced installation of SOA. For that i need to have few schemas like 'SOABPEL' already created in the database. Following is the problem i am facing while installing the schema in the database -
The schema files resides in soa_windows_x86_101310_disk1\install\soa_schemas\irca folder. As per the installation pdf, i need to run the irca.sh shell script to install the 'SOABPEL', 'SOAESB' and 'SOAOWSM' schemas. but i am not sure how do i run this shell script from the windows environment? I don't think i can use unix prompt for this? Please guide.
    Thanks

Anuj, when i try to run the batch file, i am getting following error. i guess this is oracle_home problem. i checked it in the environment variables, and it was blank. so i have set it up now and pointing to ojdbc14.jar file. but i am still getting the same error. do i need restart my pc? or do you have some other way to track it down?

  • Build fail without errors

I've been getting often enough strange compilation errors from the labview application status window, the weirdest being
    [10:30:36 AM] Status: Error
    linking...
    Program Size: Code=94136 RO-data=2936 RW-data=2664 ZI-data=14536
    ".\Obj\LabVIEW.axf" - 0 Error(s), 0 Warning(s).
    Status: Build failed.
The build failure without errors seems to be a red herring; it actually builds and links fine, but for some reason Labview takes offense to it and reports a build failure. If you rerun the build again it resumes where it had "failed" and the target is loaded and started... very strange behaviour, and it is not limited to the LM3S project, I get it with the MCB2378. Anybody knows why this would happen?
Anyway just putting this out there for others who would encounter this problem.

    Hey Simon,
When you reload the code and it compiles correctly does it operatre as expected? Here are some things that I believe we have gone over but should be useful for other members of the forums:
    Debugging in Keil uVision
After c generating an embedded application, you should have the project loaded in the Keil uVision IDE. The following steps will help you debug the application.
    Click "Reset CPU"
    Click "Run"
    Click "Halt."
You should be stopped in a loop in a function named OCDI_RDMWaitOnStart in OCDICheckPoint.c. The function waits for LabVIEW to be ready by checking the variable named OCDI_RDMStart. Since we are not using LabVIEW to run the application, we need to change this variable manually using the watch window.
Add the variable OCDI_RDMStart to the watch window.
Set any other breakpoints that you want in the project.
    Select View->Period Window Updates
    Click "Run"
From the watch window, change the variable OCDI_RDMStart to 0x01. The application will exit the loop and run your VI.
    To run the application again:
    Click "Reset CPU"
    Click "Run"
From the watch window, change the variable OCDI_RDMStart to 0x01.
You can also add "one button dialog" nodes to your VI, and this will do a printf that you can see in the Keil IDE. Choose View->Serial Window->Real-Time Agent Terminal to see the window that receives the output.
My guess is that the first time you run it the project is looking for a pointer or something and then the second time it know knows where it is and finishes without error.

  • Blu-ray image build fails with LPCM error

    hello,
    Using CS6 Encore
    I have created H.264 files (.264, .264.Stereo1) for a 1:04hr sequence using Matrox
    - 1920x1080p 23.98fps
    - both 27.0 and 30.0 target data rate, Constant Bit Rate CABAC, H.264 level of 4.1
and when I try to build a Bluray image using them, the build fails with the message:
Error: "invalid format", Code: "14", Note: "Bits per Sample of LPCM is illegal. 32"
I first got this error using target data rate of 30 (default) - then I dropped it to 27.0 and still got the error.
I then tested with a 1min H.264 file created using the same above settings and the image was successfully created.
In CS5.5, when I had similar errors, I dropped the target data rate to 27.0/27.1 and the build would complete without errors.
I can't find any discussion of the above error on the web or on these forums - perhaps my search terms were not good.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I was able to successfully build another 1hr blu-ray image with default settings (target data rate 30) a few days back.
In both successful and unsuccessful cases, the source sequence is a 1920x1080i 29.97fps Matrox AVI file, which I convert to 1920x1080p 23.98 fps in AME using Matrox to create the .264/.264.Stereo1 files, which I then import into CS6 Encore and create the image.
Encore CS5.5 was a pain in that it would hang on source files larger than 2GB - I came across a Adobe forum/support thread suggesting using the workaround of importing to the Encore timeline files <= 2GB in size.

    Thanks Ramesh.
Both the 1min and the 1hr .Stereo1 WAV files show the same 32-bit bit depth as per MediaInfo.
