Building package error - - unable to obtain package volume

I am trying to build a package, but continue to get error.
I followed the SUN documentation up to the point where I should be building the package. Please see error below and any help will be apprecaited.

Have you checked in EPS/in of your solution manager there you should get this xml file.
If you still not able to download it then check instructions in How to Install Guide on http:service.sap.com/erp-ehp.
Also, Check SAP Note 1134872 - Maintenance Optimizer FAQ for Stack Delta Files
What is your support pack level of your solution manager ?

Sounds like your JBuilder environment is screwed up; see what the classpath and bootclasspath are set to, and correct the error. (This is a question that belongs on a JBuilder website.)

Flex Builder 3 Error: Unable to load SWC

Hi,
I am trying to use the YahooMaps component (YahooMaps.swc) in
my application. I have included it in the build path of my
application.
Steps followed:
1. Right-click on the project and choose Properties or open
the Project menu and choose Properties.
2. In the project properties dialog, choose Flex Build Path.
3. Select the Library path tab, and press the Add SWC...
button.
4. Selected the YahooMap.swc
I still get "Unable to load SWC: YahooMap.swc". It is an AS
3.0 component. Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you for your reply.
I have followed the documentation on the site you provided.
All I have done so far is:
1. Create a new flex project in Flex Builder 3
2. Once the project is created, I try to add the YahooMap.swc
to my Flex build path.
3. Once I add the YahooMap.swc, it fails with the error
"Unable to load YahooMap.swc" in Flex Builder 3.
4. FB3 does not recognize YahooMap when I try to import it in
AS3.
import com.yahoo.maps.api.YahooMap;
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Does it have to do
something with the version Y! has used to build the YahooMap.swc
and Flex Builder 3?

Tried to reset a login keychain but got the error: Unable to obtain authorization for this operation.

There was a user account established on my computer when I bought it. I later added an admin account. I realized that I did not have the password to the original account. Using the admin account, I changed the password for the user account. I then realized that I now couldn't access the keychain. I followed the instructions to reset a login keychain. Opened Keychain Access, selected Preferences, clicked Reset Login Keychain, typed the new password I'd created for the account but received the following error. Unable to obtain authorization for this operation. I cannot find a user/library/keychain folder so I can't delete the user keychain file. How can I reset the keychain?

You may have just purchased the game, but the developers obviously haven't kept up to date with the requirements for newer versions of the Mac OS.
You have three options, depending on how old your Mac is.
1) If it were ever able to boot directly to Snow Leopard, you could create a separate partition and install SL onto that partition. Make sure to turn on the option during the installation to install Rosetta. That is OS X's PPC emulator.
2) If your Mac is too new to install Snow Leopard, then you can purchase and install Snow Leopard Server within a VM, such as Parallels, VirtualBox, or Vmware.
3) Use a separate older Mac for running outdated software.

IDOC / Integration Builder -- contains errors (unable to read segments)

HELLO,
I have a problem. I have created a new IDOC. but when I imported to the KIntegration Builder it says:
Import started...
ZHRMD_IT.ZHRMD_IT: Error
+ Error: IDoc type ZHRMD_IT contains errors (unable to read segments)
Import failed with 1 error.
The rare thing is that the idoc is a copy of another idoc of SAP (HRMD_A06) but I have taken out some E1Pxxxxx.
Its like a reduced Idoc but as a new idoc.
Can Someone help me, please.
How can I see what segment is wrong in the new idoc (ZHRMD_IT)?

As per the error , you are importing some custom idocs.
Go to WE30 and check that, all the segments in the idoc has got released or not ..

Sequencer Error - Unable to save package

I am trying to package Perspective Search v10.3 on a Windows 7.1 Sequencing Box using Microsoft Virtualization Application
Sequencer - APP-V 5 SP2 Hotix 4 (Same error occurs on Hotfix 3)
I begin creating a new package, run the Perspective Search msi installer (both custom & default), the msi installs correctly, I then choose Finished and click Next and get the below error:
An attempt to prepare the package for saving failed (Error: 6629309790487068677)
This event appears in the Microsoft\AppV\Sequencer\Admin log
I have searched for this error to no avail. The closest I read was to do with shared _rel files but I have searched for these and they don't exist.
Any help/pointers appreciated.
I also checked the scratch directory but couldnt find anything there to help and not sure if I should be looking there anyway.

My sequencer will simply crash with "An error was encountered while trying to prepare the package for saving. Please check the event log for more details" (translating from Dutch here so I hope I got it right) "Er is een fout opgetreden
bij het voorbereiden van het opslaan van het pakket. Raadpleeg het gebeurtenislogboekbestand voor meer informatie."
I am not yet finding the culprit but at least I know I am not alone... Thanks for the pointer.

Unable to release package administration lock for this system

Hi,
I created a Solaris package, but at the end of installation (on a Solaris 10 sparc) I get :
#pkgadd -d MyApp_version__SunOS_sparc.pkg
Installation of <MyAppName> was successful.
pkgadd: ERROR: ERROR: Unable to release package administration lock for
this system; try again later
pkgadd: ERROR: ERROR: Unable to release package administration lock for
this system; try again later
The solution is to delete:
#rm rf /tmp/.ai.pkg.zone.lock*
Then some lib issues occur .. fixed by:
#cd /usr/lib
#ln -sf ../../lib/libdlpi.so.1 libdlpi.so.1
Then I can install and uninstall without any problems as many time as I need.
Why does this issues occur when the package is first install on a system ?

Hi Alan,
In the postinstall script I only handle the configuration files that my application has (all the files are in the /app/MyApp directory, no system files involved). I use the read user input and replace the values in the config file, and create another 2 files (also in /app/MyApp directory). This is all I do.
I use the packaging scripts: depend, copyright, pgkinfo, preinstall, request, postinstall, preremove, postremove

Unable to uninstall Express 2012 for Windows Desktop: "unable to locate package source"

Once again, I'm running out of hard drive space on my main system drive. 119GB isn't enough when individual programs are taking up 8GB. Arrrgh!!
I originally downloaded the Express versions of VS2012, for web and desktop, but later got the Professional version. I have been able to uninstall Express 2012 for Web successfully, but when I attempt to uninstall Express 2012 for Desktop, I get this error:
Unable to locate package source
Please provide a location to search for the packages:
D:\packages\Preparation.exe
I do not have a D: drive, and I don't see a c:\packages folder.
How to proceed?

The problem is that setup are trying to use your source package to uninstall Express 2012 for Desktop. If you want to proceed the problem, please try download a new package and run that package to uninstall your Express 2012 for Desktop.

Error when setting up gateway on local system: "Unable to obtain the anti-forgery token from Host Service"

I have created an account in Office 365 to try Power BI, and have set up the Power BI site so far.
Now i want to add few data sources, for which i guess i would need to do the following:
1) Create a gateway (i have done this)
2) Download and Install the gateway on my local machine (Installed on my 64bit windows 8.1 laptop)
3) Run Data Management Gateway configuration manager wizard to setup up the gateway.
At this step, when i enter the Gateway Key (copied from the Power BI Site), i am getting error "unable to obtain the anti-forgery token from Host Service".
Where should i head next?

Few things that i learnt here:
1) You'll need to turn the firewalls off for the local system. (I am not sure if this is required, but i just did this and it started working for me).
2) When you are creating the gateway on Power BI site, you click on Create new gateway, and it shows you the security key. Previously i just copied and saved this key and click Finish at this step (which i guess should not be done). What we need to do is
to keep this screen ON, download and run the Gateway setup wizard and complete the setup, while keeping the page open in power BI site.
I am getting the Gateway up and running now.

Login with the user Administrator.
Click On: Cluster -> PEP -> Server X X_XXXXX -> Services -> Log Viewer.
Them you get the following error:

We solved the problem. You have to deleted the old archive files. **J2ee/Cluster/Server<n>/log/archive.

Unable to obtain hardware information

I am trying to convert a VM from ESXi Free v5.5 using the Standalone Converter and getting the error: Unable to obtain hardware information for the selected machine.
I have tried running the converter with elevated admin privileges and that didn't work. The strange thing is I have done this before and it worked so I'm not sure what's changed on this ESXi server.
I have two VM's. One is Red Hat and the other is Microsoft 2012 Server and both give me the same error. I also tried v5.5 and v6 of the converter.
I can connect to the ESXi server with the vSphere client.

we have applications deployed using tuxedo. All the applications are in working condition, but one new application is deployed with same parameters of working applications but on new client application on Windows 2008 server.
This application cannot access the tuxedo server and giving following error.

I found out why this is happening(with the Help of Oracle support), so updating it for future use.
Tuxedo uses random ports for clients that have connected to WSL listener. thats why my first error
152035.WEBAPP!?proc.4020.3152.0: LIBWSC_CAT:1064: ERROR: Unable to establish WSH connection 0x000221150afea683
was coming. this means (as per the documentations) that the WSL have accepted the connection but the next step of connecting to WSH is not done. which causes the above error.
The resolution can be 2 things.
1. Allow allow ports of Server or range of ports starting from port of WSL e.g. port WSNADDR port 7777 to 7777+2000 ports , so that clients can access the WSL port + 2000 ports
2. add a parameter on the tuxedo server ubb file to define a range of ports which can handle client requests. (most probably in the WSL CLOPT portion)
if your network has security and it only allows some ports to be accessed , u can get this error.

I just noticed in the ubbconfig snippet above that WSL refers to GROUPsys group and SRVID 1, but Server with SRVID = 1 is not in GROUPsys, it is in GROUP1. Anyhow, that probably doesn't even matter. does it?

Hilary - I asked our DBA to open a SR, the number is SR 3-6553142501 : Unable to install packaged applications in Oracle Apex
Looks like apex.oracle.com has been upgraded to 4.2.1. When did this happen?
I am almost positive that I was able to install packaged apps on apex.oracle.com even when it was on 4.2.0.00.27 (same as the publicly available version) but not on my instance. But now since the versions are different, the support person is pointing to the different versions as a cause! This is what I was afraid of. To be honest, given that I was getting the error on my instance but not on apex.oracle.com, even when both systems (mine and apex.oracle.com) was on the same version of APEX, I am not very hopeful that the 4.2.1 patch will fix my situation since the root cause has not been identified. I just don't want to wait for 4.2.1 to be released, apply it and find out that the issue is still there. Can you share the list of bugs fixed in 4.2.1 to see if any of them may apply to this situation?
Any other ideas? What diagnostics can I provide to help you get to the bottom of this? Frankly, Oracle Support, as I found in the past, is not very well qualified to resolve APEX-related SRs. Can you please assist or direct Support appropriately? Thanks, appreciate your help.
Since I have the Builder app installed in my instance, I inspected the final page of the packaged app install wizard (4000:83) to see what APIs it uses and ran it manually as SYSTEM. This is what I get. Does that help narrow down the issue?
