Builds not Working

Builds are not working for Visual Studio Online portals for EAST US, azure customers.
The remote name could not be resolved: 'www.nuget.org' error occurs during the Build Execution.
Any Updates ?

Hi,
Have you tried clearing the Proxy settings as mentioned here.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2289942?wa=wsignin1.0
Or it may also be an Azure DNS issue or something related to Nuget side. Wait for some more time and try again.

I tried this code for photoshop CC and CC 2014, it works for both but I couldn't get it to run for cs6 it gives the below error from the extension manager:
so isn't Version="[13.0,15.9]" correct? why would it not work for cs6? thanks in advance.

Hi,
CS6 doesn't support HTML Panels but Flash ones, this should be the why the Adobe Extension Manager fails.

Imoprt/Export Strings in Translation Builder not working

Hi All,
I am new to Translation Builder.
There is a form which is referring many other forms, when I am importing strings of main form in translation builder, its not importing all prompts and only 25 out of 500 prompts. May be it is not importing prompts from other referring form.
Among above 25 prompts, I have imported translations from English to German (translation builder). But after exporting the translation and compiling the form in D folder, translated prompts are not visible in German language login.
I am following the below steps:
1. Created DB connection
2. Created New project
3. Right click > import strings
4. Base language 'AMERICAN', character set 'WE8ISO8859P1', version ='1' form=form from 'US' folder. (this form also refers other forms which are available under resource directory)
5. Right click on .fmb > add translation > translation language 'German' & Trns. character set 'UTF8'
6. RHS double click on GERMAN UTF8 > ok (here its not importing only very few prompts)
7. Provided translations > save
8. Click on version > export string and exported to d folder.
9. Logged in with German language.
Now translations are not coming.
Note: First time i am using translation builder.
Please let me know if I am missing any step or any set is required etc..

That's odd. It worked for me when I tested it. Perhaps you should try moving the current xml file to a different folder, downloading a new version, copying and pasting, and rebuilding.

New Coldfusion Server Setup in Flashbuilder and Coldfusion Builder not working

I have not found the combination for adding a new Coldfusion Server in Flash Builder 4.7 or Coldfusion Builder 2.01 with Coldfusion 10. I am running windows 7 64bit. on IIS 7. Coldfusion 10 is running fine.
All was well with Coldfusion 9 Flash Builder 4.6 and Coldfusion Builder 2.0.
Local Server Settings for CF9 were
Server Home C:\Coldfusion9
Document Root C:\inetpub\wwwroot
Version: 9.0.x
Now as soon as I put in C:\Coldfusion10 or C:\Coldfusion10\cfusion I get an error "Server home is not valid".
Any hints on getting this going.

Not necessarily. As soon as you select the "cfusion" location, it would automatically pick the wwwroot location.

Additional SDK for Flex Builder - not working

Hi,
I have a Flex Builder 3.0.2. It's shipped with Flex SDK 2.0.1 and 3.2. I would like to add the new Flex SDK 3.5. I followed the documentation: http://livedocs.adobe.com/flex/3/html/help.html?content=build_6.html#162812:
- extracted SDK 3.5
- added into my SDK list
- set to default
- restart Flex Builder
- clean project
But it's just not working. There are many functions from the documentation I can't use still (but should be available with SDK 3.5). How can I fire SDK 3.5 up?

I can't solve your problem, but I can say that Flex Builder 3
is much faster amd more stable than FB2.

Dictionary DC BUILD not working with CE 7.1 and 7.0 NWDI

Hi All,
we integrated our ce 7.1 in our existing NWDI environment. Everything works fine
except for the dictionary dc build.
The build process stops with an
Open SQL services not initialized! (java.lang.IllegalStateException: Open SQL services not initialized!)
error.

Post build "builder" not working.

I want to run a .bat file after compiling a project so output SWF is copied somewhere else, but when I create a new Builder in Project - Properties, Builders, I always get errors even for a simply copy operation.
Does anyone know any links to pages showing how to create Builders for .bat files for copying output files?

Yes and yes. The example I provided above was the simplest version that I could get to work via the Cmd line and in a batch file, but I tried the full hard coded path to the file without any special variables. I could get that to work in both the Cmd Line and the batch file, but not in a Post-build Action. The thing that confuses me though is that the help says the following:
Actions can be any command supported by a Windows batch file. You can pass arguments, either hard-coded or special LabWindows/CVI variables, to the action. If you specify a batch file as an action, you must use the CALL command. Before any actions are executed, LabWindows/CVI sets the directory of the project as the current working directory.
LabWindows/CVI creates a batch file containing the actions for each step, and then runs the batch file. You can view the output of the build steps in the Build Output window.
The working directory should be set to where I've get my external tests to work, but I have not been able to see any evidence of a batch file being created or the ability to see the output of the build steps in the Build Output window; At best I can only see warnings in the Build Output window during the compile phase, but when the build starts, the Build Window disappears and the Window > Build Output menu option is grayed out.
If CVI is creating a batch file like it says, where would that file exist?

Links to exe and back to menu builder not working

I have read through all of the messages in the Forum and have
seen similar questions on this topic but no actual answers for this
precise situation. I apologize if I've just missed it. I'm fairly
new to Captivate and am using version 2. I am building a project
that will have 15 - 20 standalone .exe files.
This client is one of of the very few that does not have
Flash Player and will not due to security reasons. We will publish
and play from a DVD/CD.
The problem -
I need to have a course menu to link to each exe and then
link back from each exe to the main menu.
I have built a sample menu builder and exported it as an exe.
The links to the other files from this main menu work; however, I
cannot get the links in the separate exe files to access the main
menu exe (i.e. menu builder file). I either get a blank browser
window or other url window, or nothing happens and the screen just
stays there. The same thing will happen if I'm using the menu in
the skins feature.
I have ensured that all my files are in the same folder. I
have variations on the link, such as "relative" links as suggested
(i.e., removing path information and including only the file name).
I'm not sure Captivate Player will help because it sounds
like that is more for Web applications.

Hi Don
Sure thing. The weird part of this is that it will require
using both MenuBuilder and Captivate to accomplish it. As you have
seen, Captivate likes to open things by feeding into HTTP. So
often, you wish to open a Word Document or a .PDF and you see a
browser open. The bizarre part of all this, is that if you look at
the address bar of the browser that opens, the path and filename
are correct! You click there and press Enter and by golly it loads
up. Go figure.
So here goes.
1. Note the exact file name you wish to open. Perhaps
"Menu.EXE".
2. Open MenuBuilder and create a new totally blank project.
3. Set your width and height by clicking Options > Project
Options. I think the smallest you can go is 320 wide and 200 high.
4. Click Insert > Clickbox.
5. For the link part, just type "Menu.EXE" (or whatever you
noted in step 1) Note that you should not enter any path. JUST the
file name. You might also click to place a check mark in the "Save
file with project" check box, just to be on the safe side.
6. Export the project as a Flash SWF.
7. Close MenuBuilder and open your Captivate project.
8. Edit the slide where your user will click to open the .EXE
and click Insert > Animation...
9. Insert the .SWF you created using MenuBuilder. Position it
over where you wish your user to click.
10. Publish your Captivate and test the link.
In case it will help, I've got a zip containing all the files
so you can see them in action (I included the source). No cloak and
dagger with this next part, just conserving bandwidth, as I'm
limited with this service and I don't wish everyone and their
brother to use it all up just looking to see. Shoot me an E-Mail

link to download the files for you to play with.

Folio Builder Not working

Folio Builder panel is requesting I download the latest update which I have done and installed and restarted. However Folio Builder panel is requesting I download like nothing happened.
I am using Indesign CS5.5 and have updated the correct download for this version. Appreciate some help with this. Thank you.

There is some small bug.
I had the similar problem.
I work on WXP and I have installed CS5.5 on nonsystem disk.
But installator of Folio Builder did not detect it and created new folders on system disk C.
I only copied content of this folders to the right place.
Now is everything OK.

DVD for replication. DDP Image build not working

A first attempt to create a DDP Image for DVD replication.
The disk duplicates OK
When attempting to create a DDP Image the project check is fine, but the build tab does not come live. Any suggestions?

I am trying to create a file that will be copy protected to some degree at least. That only works with DDP Image files.

Flash Builder 4.5 Pre-Release Release Build Not Working

Hello,
I am doing a release build of a project, getting no errors, and the AIR app works just fine on my machine. Others have no success trying to run the app. 1 is on XP, the other Windows 7. Both have the most recent version of AIR. Any suggestions?

Object builds not working correctly

I have three objects that I would like to have dissolve out sequentially. Object one is set to dissolve out on click. Object 2 is set to go out automatically after build 1, and object 3 is set to go out automatically after build 2. Deliver is set to all at once and the duration is 1 second. If I double click in the small preview window of the inspector I can see each object go out sequentially. If I play the actual presentation, they all dissolve out instantly upon click. What gives? How do I fix this??

I just tried your steps below and I got the expected result. Try this again, but on a NEW file so that there's no chance of something else being set unexpectedly.
1) Open a NEW Keynote document, using the Black theme
2) Insert a rectangle, move it to the left
3) Insert a circle, leave it in the middle
4) insert a triangle, move it to the right
5) Click the rectangle, open the build inspector, change build out from none to dissolve
Play the presentation, the rectangle should disappear on click
6) Click the circle, open the build inspector, change build out from none to dissolve
7) Click the triangle, open the build inspector, change build out from none to dissolve
At this point, they all are set to dissolve on click and build out. If when you play it back, that's confirmed...
8) Select all three.
9) Click "Open Drawer" at the bottom of the "Build" inspector pane to open the Build drawer
10) For "Start Build" change it to "Automatically after prior build"
Now, when you play, you should see each one dissolving out after the presentation start playing. Now all you have to do is change the FIRST one to On-Click, and you should be able to get what you're looking for.
If it works, then you have to go back to your other presentation and try to determine if there are any other delays or other settings that aren't identical to the test file you just created.

Folio Builder not working in InDesign

This morning my Folio Builder panel in InDesign stopped working. It's become just a big gray rectangle. It was fine on Friday.
Running the newest version of Folio Builder in InDesign CS5.5 on Windows 7.
Any ideas?

Hey Thanks Andrew! But yeah, I tried that a couple of times. I think it was more of an InDesign issue than anything else. Even my KULER extension was having a hard time. For some reason I kept getting a “No internet connection detected.” message, even tho I was connected to the internet…
Ahh well… All’s well that ends well.

Eclipse build not working

Hello,
I am using Eclipse and everytime I try to do a Project -> Clean -> OK (with start build automatically checked), eclipse shows the build status dialogue box, and says it completes the build, but during the build it does not say "compiling" which it use to do a few weeks ago.
In addition, when I check my usual compile destination folder, it no longer outputs the class files there.
The only way I can get it to compile is if I use ANT.
Does anybody know what could be wrong?

Typically one of two areas are messed up;
the eclipse config
delete everything under eclipse/configuration/ except the config.ini file
the workspace
delete everything under workspace/.metadata/ (or create a new workspace)
and re-import your projects.

Advanced SQL builder not working

Hi all, I'm a Network administrator put in charge of web
development at our small company, and i am working on what should
be a fairly simple application for management of a MSSQL database
using ASP/Jscript.
Using Dreamweaver CS3, i am for some reason unable to
successfully build a search function for the database using the
built in tools.
I have a page with 2 form entries, a list box with Column
names (SearchBy), and a text field for the search terms(SearchFor).
I've tired several different incarnations using my limited
knowledge of asp, and none will work right.
I know the connection is solid and working. If i use static
terms in the sql it brings everything up fine.
Here is a copy of the Dreamweaver generated code that was
built using the Advanced Recordset builder tool. Can anyone help
point out what's going wrong?

Are you passing the name of the column to be searched into
the query? I
am sorry to say, this feature was removed due to security
issues with
this method.
